Abstract

This research aims to analyze students' interest in choosing the Early Childhood Education Teacher Education Study Program (PGPAUD) at Universitas Dehasen Bengkulu, Class of 2024 Regular Class. The focus of this study is on the factors of attention, curiosity, motivation, and needs that influence students' decisions in selecting PGPAUD. The methodology used is a qualitative approach with in depth interviews of PGPAUD students. The results indicate that attention to early childhood education, curiosity about career prospects, motivation, and self-development needs significantly affect students' decisions to choose PGPAUD. Students interested in this field due to the program offers broad career opportunities and contributes to children's development. In conclusion, students' interest is influenced by these factors, and it is recommended that the university clarify information about career prospects and job opportunities, as well as strengthen the promotion of the PGPAUD study program to attract prospective students.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan perkembangan berpikir kritis pada anak dengan metode eksperimen di PAUD Al-Annisa Kota Bengkulu. Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) atau disebut juga Classroom action research dengan prosedur yang digunakan berbentuk siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah anak kelompok B di PAUD Al-Annisa yang berjumlah 13 orang anak. Penelitian dilaksanakan Tiga siklus. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskripsi kualitatif dan kuantitaif dengan penekananya digunakan untuk menentukan peningkatan proses yang dinyatakan dalam sebuah predikat, sedangkan analisis kuantitatif dugunakan untuk menentukan peningkatan hasil dengan menggunakan presentase. Hasil peningkatan perkembangan berpikir kritis pada anak dengan metode eksperimen di PAUD Al-Annisa Kota Bengkulu pada siklus I dengan presentase 37,5%, di siklus ke II dengan presentase 50%, dan siklus ke III dengan presentase 82,21%. Kesimpulan penelitian bahwa menggunakan metode eksperimen dapat meningkatkan perkembangan berpikir kritis pada anak di PAUD Al-Annisa Kota Bengkulu, terbukti pada siklus ke III terjadi peningkatan dengan hasil presentase pencapaian sebesar 82,21% dengan kriteria berkembang sangat baik (BSB).

Abstract

This study aims to describe the management of early childhood learning at Putri Ayu Preschool in Bengkulu City, including planning, implementation, and evaluation. The research method used was descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that learning planning is carried out through the preparation of a Lesson Implementation Plan (RPP) in accordance with the applicable curriculum. Learning is active, enjoyable, and play-based, despite limited resources. Evaluation is conducted through authentic assessments involving observation, portfolios, and communication with parents. Overall, learning management at Putri Ayu Preschool is well-functioning, but still requires improvement, particularly in the use of technology and collaboration with parents.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of singing-based learning methods in improving the vocabulary of early childhood children at Pembina Negeri 1 Kindergarten in Bengkulu City. The research method used a descriptive qualitative approach, with observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The results showed that singing activities significantly improved children's vocabulary mastery. Children appeared more active, confident, and able to use new vocabulary in everyday communication. These findings align with Vygotsky's theory on the importance of social interaction in language development. In conclusion, singing is an effective, enjoyable learning method that is appropriate for the characteristics of early childhood language development.
