Abstract

Abstract This study aims to analyze the effect of work from home on the performance of teachers in SD Negeri Palembang City. Data of 27 respondents were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using the simple linear regression method. The result unveils that work from home has a significant and positive effect on teacher performance. In theory, this study enriches the literature on teacher performance during the Covid-19 pandemic. In practical terms, the finding in this study may be deployed as a basis for the government and policy makers to improve the performance of primary teachers in Indonesia during the pandemic. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh work from home terhadap kinerja guru SD Negeri Kota Palembang. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 27 orang karyawan. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan cara kuesioner. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan model analisis regresi linier sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil uji t dengan spss antara work from home (X) terhadap produktivitas kerja (Y) didapatkan angka t hitung sebesar 2,223 dengan nilai signifikansi (0,05/2= 0,025), maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa work from home secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja Guru. Karena t hitung> t table (2,223>2,05954) maka Ho ditolak. Berdasarkan signifikansi, jika signifikansi <0,05 maka Ha diterima, dan jika signifikansi >0,05 maka Ha ditolak dan Ho diterima. Karena signifikansi pada hasil uji t kurang dari 0,05 (0,036 < 0,05) maka Ha diterima da Ho ditolak.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to analyze the influence of discipline and work environment on employees' performance at PT Sinar Sosro Palembang. The sample was selected using the saturated sampling technique. Data of 47 respondents were collected through interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. This study implemented the multiple linear regression method to analyze data. The findings reveal that partially discipline has no effect on employees' performance. Conversely, work enviroment has a significant effect on employees' performance. Simultaneously, discipline and work enviroment have a significant effect on employees' performance. This finding can benefit PT Sinar Sosro Palembang. To improve employees' performance, company decision-makers should apply discipline and work environment. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kedisiplinan dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT Sinar Sosro Palembang. Sampel dipilih menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Data 47 responden dikumpukan melalui wawancara, dokumentasi, dan kuesioner. Studi ini mengimplementasikan metode regresi linier berganda untuk menganalisis data. Temuan investigasi membuktikan bahwa secara parsial kedisiplinan tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan. Sebaliknya, secara parsial, lingkungan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Secara simultan, kedisiplinan dan lingkungan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Temuan ini bermanfaat bagi PT Sinar Sosro Palembang. Untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan, maka pemegang keputusan perusahaan harus memerhatikan faktor kedisiplinan dan lingkungankerja.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of organizational culture, motivation with discipline as an intervening variable on the performance of employees at the Palembang city government service either partially or simultaneously. This research method uses quantitative method with expo Pacto approach . Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used the SPSS For Windows Version 21 program. Based on the results of the study, it was found that organizational culture, motivation with discipline as an intervening variable had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Palembang city government service.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effects of safety and health of employees on work productivity of employees at the warehouse of PT Muara Dua Palembang. Data of 65 respondents were collected through a questionnaire. This study applied the multiple linear regression to analyze the data. The findings unveil that partially work safety has a significant and negative effect on employees' work productivity. Additionally, employees' occupational health has a significant and positive effect on work productivity. Simultaneously, occupational safety and health have a significant and positive effect on employees' productivity. This empirical evidence can provide benefits for PT Muara Dua Palembang. To increase employees' productivity, the leader of the company should optimize the safety and health factors of employees.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of recruitment and job placement on employees' performance at Kemuning District Office in Palembang. Samples were selected using the saturated sample technique. Data of 45 respondents were collected through observation and questionnaires. This study implemented the multiple linear regression method to analyze data. The results of the investigation evidence that partially each recruitment and job placement has a significant effect on employees' performance. Likewise, simultaneously recruitment and job placement have a significant effect on employees' performance. This empirical evidence can provide benefits for the Kemuning District Office in Palembang. To improve employees' performance, the leader in this government institution should optimize recruitment and job placement factors.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effects of work stress and compensation on employees' performance at CV Arwana Mas Palembang. Data of 60 respondents were collected through a questionnaire. This study implemented the multiple linear regression method to analyze the data. The results of the investigation show that partially work stress has no significant effect on employees' performance. Conversely, compensation has a significant and positive effect on employees' performance. This empirical evidence can provide benefits for CV Arwana Mas Palembang. To improveemployees' performance, the leader of the company should the neglect work stress factor but optimize compensation for their employees.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of reward and punishment on employees' performance at PT Matahari Department Store 338 Palembang. A total of 133 samples was determined deploying the Slovin formula. Data were collected through questionnaires and observations. This study applied multiple linear regression to analyze the data. The results of the investigation show that each reward and punishment has no significant effect on employees'performance. Likewise, simultaneously reward and punishment have no significant effect on employees'performance. This empirical evidence can provide benefits for PT Matahari Department Store 338 Palembang. To improve employees'performance, the leader of the company can ignore reward and punishment factors.

Abstract

promotion affects loyalty with the brand image as a moderating variable. This study uses a quantitative approach with primary data obtained from respondents' responses through questionnaires and secondary data as reference material sourced from journals, articles, and books. The number of samples is 100 respondents who are ShopeeFood customers. Samples were taken based on the purposive sampling method. Data analysis using the SPSS tool. To test the hypothesis using multiple linear regression analysis and analysis of the interaction test of moderating variables. The results show that promotion has a positive and significant effect on loyalty, and brand image plays a role in strengthening the drive for loyalty. These results provide managerial implications for ShopeeFood to improve new strategies in promoting its products and strengthening its brand image so as to encourage customer loyalty. Thus, ShopeeFood is expected to be able to plan the right strategy, and attract and provide good service in order to create a positive brand image in the minds of consumers so that consumers have the potential to become loyal customers.

Abstract

In this modern era a lot of progress in the business world. The competition is so tight that every manufacturer continues to develop its business to win the competition. The purpose of the study was to analyze the effect of price and service quality on consumer purchasing decisions at Mie Gacoan Magelang branch. Quantitative methods are used in this study by utilizing primary data from questionnaires distributed to consumer respondents from Mie Gacoan Magelang branch. The sample used was 100 respondents based on the purposive sampling method. Data analysis methods, namely descriptive statistics, coefficient of determination, correlation coefficient, significant F test, and significant t test. The results showed that the perception of price and service quality had a simultaneous influence on purchasing decisions. The results have implications for Mie Gacoan to make efforts to increase consumer purchasing power by lowering prices and increasing promotions for the products offered. From the results of this study, it can be used as a reference for further researchers by developing the variables studied and adding populations and samples to develop the research.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of transformational leadership and work discipline on the employee performance of CV Putra Gemilang Palembang. The data used in this study were primary and secondary data obtained from interviews and questionnaires. The research method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicates that transformational (X1) and work discipline (X2) had a significant positive effect on employee performance (Y).
