Abstract

This study aims to determine the financial management of the performance of entrepreneurs in the tourist destination of Lake Cipondoh. This type of research is descriptive quantitative with multiple regression analysis methods. The sampling technique used a saturated sampling technique because the population and sample were the same, amounting to sixty-three entrepreneurs in Lake Cipondoh. The results showed that partial financial planning, financial records, and separation of personal finance and business finance significantly affected the entrepreneurs' performance. The application of financial planning can save costs which can increase operating profits and have an impact on the performance of entrepreneurs. Financial records can provide information about financial statements so that they can improve the performance of entrepreneurs. Furthermore, the separation of personal finance and business finance will not reduce business capital, so it can improve the performance of entrepreneurs. It was expected that entrepreneurs in Lake Cipondoh tourist destinations: (1) Always implement financial planning to minimize costs and increase profits; (2) Always carry out financial records so that it can be seen that the business carried out has increased or decreased; (3) Always separate business finances from personal finances, to know for sure the total income and net profit.

Abstract

The PSBB (Large-Scale Social Restrictions) Policy significantly impacted tourist villages in Bali, resulting in many of them only being able to bring in a limited number of visitors per year. One digital marketing platform that has been helpful to these villages is the Godevi Marketplace. The study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Godevi website and provide recommendations for increasing tourist engagement and traffic. Using the ICTRT model for mobile and a qualitative approach, the study surveyed 97 tourists and interviewed experts. A total of 5 variables with 51 instruments using the ICTRT model for mobile were analyzed by measuring the effectiveness of the website. The results show that the Godevi website is relatively effective, particularly in terms of destination branding. However, the website could improve in terms of relationship and transaction dimensions. The study recommends that tourism village website managers, specifically Godevi, optimize relationship features and reduce transaction obstacles.

Abstract

Hotel Le Grande experienced decreasing number of repeater guests and implemented  price war strategy to achieve room sales targets. The adoption of  price war strategy and decreased repeater guest consequences of low brand loyalty scores. This research model influences brand awareness, brand associations and quality perceptions on brand loyalty. Mediation of guest satisfaction is included as an answer in the relationship between exogenous and endogenous latent variables which are not consistent from previous studies. This study uses quantitative approach to examine the relationship between variables. The analysis used was quantitative based on multivariate analysis using structural equation model.  The data collection technique used was questionnaires with non-probability sampling technique in accidental sampling with  total of 100 samples. The results of this study show  direct relationship between exogenous latent variables have  significant and positive effect on endogenous latent variables. Indirect relationship through guest satisfaction as mediating variable, is only able to be a partial mediation on the influence of brand associations and perceived quality positively on brand loyalty. The implications of this study, hotel management should start respond to the low promotional value of brand awareness, association and perceived quality by creating good advertising materials, targeted activities and evaluating employee performance.

Abstract

Support from the community and village authorities is necessary for the development of a tourist village. The availability of funds to support the development of facilities and infrastructure is a crucial aspect in developing a tourist village. For this reason, the effectiveness of financial management in tourism villages is beneficial. Accountability, transparency, and community involvement are some of the characteristics that affect how well villages manage their finances. This research aims to investigate the direct and indirect effects of accountability and transparency on village financial management through community participation as a mediating variable. Stewardship theory, which portrays a circumstance where management is not driven by individual goals but is more focused on their major results in order to develop the organization, offers as the theoretical foundation for this research. In this study, the partial least squares (PLS) data analysis method with structural equation modeling (SEM) was utilized to test the hypothesis. Whereas to test the mediating variable, we will use the testing method of the Sobel test, namely testing the path coefficient of indirect influence. The seven hypotheses offered were significant, according to the findings of hypothesis testing using partial least squares (PLS). These findings demonstrate that involvement can moderate the connection between accountability and transparency in financial management. Following the study's findings, participation, accountability, and transparency all have an impact on how effectively finances are managed. So that these three things can be a concern for the village government, It is hoped that further research will enable the development and addition of other independent variables that will influence the effectiveness of financial management variables.

Abstract

On the Job Training (OJT) as part of the tourism vocational education  curriculum is more than just a requirement to meet the adequacy of student graduation credits, OJT  is required to provide student experience and competence to work after graduation.  This study aims to determine work readiness which is determined by the perception and satisfaction of student OJT . This is a quantitative research utilizing the Structural Equation Model (SEM) as an analysis method. Utilizing the Work Readiness Scale (WRS) to quantify the level of student work readiness, the research results revealed that student perceptions did not significantly affect student  OJT satisfaction, student OJT perception and satisfaction had a positive and significant effect on work readiness, while an indirect relationship between student perceptions of work readiness through OJT satisfaction showed insignificant results.  These results conclude that factors that affect job satisfaction during the implementation of OJT have a significant impact on student work readiness. In the end, tourism vocational universities are required to be able to manage OJT well as an effort to create graduates who have competence and are ready to work and are highly competitive in the business world.

Abstract

Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) is a behavior which is not tied to any reward system, but can help the organization function effectively and efficiently. OCB can be improved with an emotional approach through Perceived Organizational Support and increase work motivation through Transformational Leadership. This study aims to determine the effect of Perceived Organizational Support and Transformational Leadership on Organizational Citizenship Behavior at Plataran Ubud Hotel & Spa. The sample used was 70 people, taken based on saturated sampling technique. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear analysis, while hypothesis testing uses t test and F test. The results show that, 1) Perceived Organizational Support has a positive and significant effect on OCB; 2) Transformational Leadership Style has a positive and significant effect on OCB; 3) Perceived Organizational Support and Transformational Leadership Style simultaneously influence OCB. The test results of the coefficient of determination show that the influence of Perceived Organizational Support and transformational leadership style on OCB is 55.1%. The implication of the results of this study is that to increase employee OCB, companies must increase perceived organizational support and adjust the leadership style that is applied.

Abstract

Kemiren Osing Traditional Tourism Village, located in Banyuwangi City, has experienced significant growth in recent years. This development has impacted the local community, spanning economic, socio-cultural, and environmental dimensions. The primary objective of this study was to assess these impacts from the residents' perspective. A survey involving 141 household heads selected through a simple random sampling method was conducted. The data collected were analyzed using confirmatory factor analysis. It was found that tourism has had a substantial economic impact on the community, primarily by increasing business opportunities (X1.3), with a high loading factor score of 0.822. Furthermore, tourism has influenced the socio-cultural aspect by stimulating demand for arts and culture, as indicated by a loading factor score of 0.799 based on X2.1. Additionally, tourism has contributed to environmental awareness, with the highest loading factor score of 0.885, emphasizing the importance of cleanliness. This research underscores the importance of enhancing the quality of tourism activities to maximize benefits for the local community. It also highlights the need for stringent regulations to prevent conflicts related to economics, socio-culture, and the environment between investors and residents.

Abstract

Consistency of service quality was a strategic factor in achieving sustainable tourism. This study aimed to design a service blueprint for tourist products in the Carangsari village. There were 4 (four) service blueprints intended as prototypes for the tugek mask dance, trekking, kecak dance, and accommodation services. The service blueprint was a flow chart of activities from the four tourist products the Carangsari tourist village offered. In the service blueprint protype there were 2 (two) factors studied: the sequence of tourist activities and the function of the service providers involved in the Carangsari tourist village. For the order of tourist activities, the design of a service blueprint was adjusted for each tourist product offered. The service provider function included 5 (five) functions applicable to all tourism products: physical evidence, customer actions, public service actions, back staff actions, and support and system actions. The head of the Carangsari tourism village, representing the tourism stakeholders of the Carangsari tourism village, expressed his appreciation for the design of the prototype of the service blueprint to provide consistency in the quality of service for tourists. The prototype of the service blueprint should be updated by the dynamics of the tourism industry. Due to time limitations, impacts and results of service blueprint prototype applications for four tourism products offered by Carangsari Tourism Village have not been evaluated. Conducting another research program to evaluate the effectiveness of service blueprint prototype applications is strongly suggested.

Abstract

The research aimed to identify, describe, and analyze the English language requirements for local tour guides at Taro Tourism Village in Gianyar Regency, Bali, as they carry out their daily responsibilities, including greetings, welcomes, introductions, and providing information. A qualitative research approach was employed, utilizing non-probability sampling techniques such as purposive sampling, snowball sampling, and abundant sampling. Data collection tools included non-participation observation checklists, questionnaires, and structured interview questions. The study's findings were based on two data analysis methods: Present Situation Analysis (PSA) and Target Situation Analysis (TSA). The PSA revealed that 35% of respondents and critical informants possessed a basic proficiency in general English, sufficient for guiding tourists at Taro Tourism Village. However, TSA indicated that 65% of respondents and critical informants required English for Specific Purposes (ESP), focusing on integrated language skills (speaking, listening, reading, and writing) and specialized vocabulary related to local tourist attractions, arts, cultures, traditions, and more. In summary, the research highlighted the need for local tour guides in Taro Tourism Village to enhance their English language skills, particularly in the context of ESP, to effectively communicate with tourists and provide an enriching experience while showcasing the village's attractions and culture.
