Abstract

Amidst the rapidly advancing tide of globalization, the role of teachers is becoming increasingly crucial in shaping a future generation capable of competing globally. However, the challenges faced by teachers are not light. The era of globalization brings significant changes to the educational paradigm, in terms of technology, values, and culture. Therefore, it is important for us to understand the professional code of ethics for teachers in this era of globalization, considering their vital role in shaping the character and abilities of future generations. Several previous studies have highlighted the challenges and strategies of teachers in facing the professional code of ethics in the era of globalization, as well as understanding teachers' perceptions of professional ethics in the context of globalization. The aim of this discussion is to provide a deeper understanding of the moral and ethical foundation that teachers must possess in carrying out their duties. In this paper, a descriptive qualitative approach is utilized to delve into the understanding of the professional code of ethics for teachers in the era of globalization. Through this understanding, it is hoped that teachers can fulfill their roles with integrity, professionalism, and high responsibility, thereby creating a safe, inclusive, and competitive learning environment in this era of globalization.

Abstract

This article discusses a comparison of leadership in the context of good and less good schools. The principal's leadership style basically means a manifestation of the behavior of a school principal, which concerns his ability to lead the school. Elementary Schools (SD) are of course part of basic educational institutions to instill values, attitudes and aesthetics so that quality leaders are needed with the right leadership style. Leadership style influences a person's success in the school he leads, especially in influencing the behavior of his subordinates and success is much influenced by leadership style. School principals should provide work instructions to teachers so that carrying out their work becomes easier. Leadership in educational institutions is very important to achieve goals. academics and student character development. However, leadership in good schools, elementary school A and less good elementary school B, has differences in leadership style. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews with the leaders of good schools at Sdn A and less good Sdn B. Data analysis was carried out using the thematic analysis method. The results of the research show that leadership in good schools, Sdn A, is more focused on achieving academic targets, while leadership in less good schools, Sdn B, on the other hand, is not focused on achieving academic targets or anything else. In the context of educational development in Indonesia, this research can provide insight and understanding of the differences in leadership in two different types of educational institutions. It is hoped that the results of this research can provide guidance for school leaders in improving the quality of leadership and educational development in Indonesia. Every leader has a leadership style that is different from one leader to another. Furthermore, try to avoid reprimanding in public if a teacher makes a mistake in their work and continue to guide teachers so that they are more comfortable at work. Apart from that, we should improve and maintain patterns that have been good so far and increase the values ??of a positive leadership style in order to increase achievement motivation and at the same time improve teacher performance.

Abstract

STAD type cooperative model. The subjects in this research were 30 class VII students of SMP Negeri 4 Pantai Labu and the object of this research was to see the learning outcomes of the learning process carried out. 2) the effectiveness of Learning Design Development using the STAD Type Cooperative model developed on students' mathematical abilities. The learning design developed (STAD Type Cooperative Model, has met the level of validity with a reliability coefficient of 0.790. Based on data obtained from testing the learning design, it is known that: 1) the design developed has been able to meet the effectiveness of the learning process, 2) Obtained learning outcomes good for students' mathematical abilities. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that all aspects determined to declare a design development product valid and effective have been fulfilled, so the development cycle to obtain a valid and effective learning design has ended. Improved student learning outcomes can be seen from the results of students' mathematical ability tests on flat plane material. In the trial, there were 26 students (86.67%) out of 30 students who took the posttest with a level of student mathematical ability in the minimum category B. This shows that the percentage of students who have completed their mathematical abilities on flat plane material has increased from trial I to trial II, namely 16.67%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine: 1) increasing students' mathematical communication skills through the development of developed mathematics learning media. The subjects in this research were 30 class VI students at SDN 105343 Ramunia I/II and the object of this research was to see improvements in the learning process carried out. 2) the effectiveness of media in developing mathematics learning on students' mathematical communication skills. The learning media developed (The media has met the level of validity with a reliability coefficient of 0.790. Based on data obtained from testing the learning media, it is known that: 1) the media developed has been able to meet the effectiveness of the learning process, where: The percentage of student learning completion that reaches the level of ability 86.67% of students' mathematical communication is classical from 30 students, and students' responses to the media and learning process are positive; 2) there was an increase in students' mathematical communication skills using learning media on the subject of blocks, achieving an increase as seen from the percentage of achievement of students' mathematical communication skills in trial I, which was 70.00%, increasing to 86.67% in trial II. With a gain of 0.57 in the medium category.

Abstract

The role of parents in supporting regional children emotionally through long-distance communication has a significant impact on children's psychological well-being. Proper emotional support, positive communication, and assistance in overcoming difficulties are important aspects that can help regional children adapt to new environments. Without the physical presence of parents, children in the region are at risk of experiencing various negative psychological impacts, including insecurity, difficulties in identity formation, and lack of emotional support. However, technology and communication media play an important role in maintaining the relationship between parents and regional children separated by distance. Therefore, it is important for parents to build open communication, provide emotional support, and be actively involved in the lives of their children to ensure optimal psychological well-being amid wandering challenges. This research uses a qualitative approach to explore the impact of remote communication between parents and children in the region on the psychological well-being of children in the region.

Abstract

ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) refers to the broad category of technological tools used to process and communicate information. Gawais are one part of ICT that plays a crucial role in early childhood development. Advancements in media and technology present challenges to children's growth. This study uses qualitative methods with data collection technique to process it as research material. This data is sourced from several relevant journals, then selected, processed, presented, discussed, and finally complied into a single conclusion. There are various negative impacts that can affect children's health, development, safety, behavior, concentration, and brain function. Early childhood education aims to stimulate all aspects of a child's development by providing enjoyable play activities that support the integration of their abilities optimally. Language development in early childhood plays a central role in their lives. However, the use of Gawais can influence children's language skills, sosial interaction, health, information acquisition, and knowledge. These skills typically develop through a series of stages including habituation, listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Parents play a crucial role in monitoring, controlling, and observing children's activities to ensure their optimal growth.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki kesulitan dalam mengajarkan nilai-nilai moral kepada anak usia dini di Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) dan faktor-faktor yang memengaruhinya. Berdasarkan data dari Komisi Perlindungan Anak Indonesia (KPAI) tahun 2019, terungkap bahwa jumlah anak Indonesia yang terlibat dalam masalah hukum, khususnya yang terlibat dalam tindak pidana narkotika dan obat-obatan terlarang (napza), mencapai angka yang mengkhawatirkan. Hal ini menyoroti kebutuhan mendesak untuk membentuk moralitas yang kuat sejak dini dalam upaya mencegah perilaku kenakalan remaja di masa depan. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif untuk mengumpulkan data dari tiga partisipan anak usia dini berusia 4-6 tahun melalui wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berbagai faktor mempengaruhi kesulitan dalam proses pengajaran nilai-nilai moral di PAUD. Pengaruh lingkungan, baik dari keluarga, teman sebaya, maupun media, memiliki peran signifikan dalam membentuk pemahaman anak terhadap nilai-nilai moral. Selain itu, kurangnya model peran yang baik dan keterbatasan perkembangan kognitif anak usia dini juga menjadi faktor penting yang memengaruhi pemahaman mereka terhadap konsep moralitas. Selain faktor-faktor tersebut, ketidakonsistenan dalam pengajaran nilai-nilai moral, kecenderungan anak-anak untuk menerima norma sosial yang bertentangan dengan nilai-nilai moral, serta keterbatasan sumber daya dan waktu dalam pendidikan juga menjadi tantangan yang signifikan. Pelatihan guru di PAUD juga menjadi kunci dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pengajaran nilai-nilai moral kepada anak-anak usia dini. Kesulitan dalam proses pembelajaran nilai-nilai moral di PAUD berpotensi memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap pembentukan karakter anak. Dengan memahami dan mengatasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi kesulitan ini, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efektivitas pendidikan moral di PAUD dan membentuk generasi yang lebih baik di masa depan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan: (1) Aktivitas belajar siswa Kelas VII UPT SPF SMP Negeri 1 Batang Kuis dengan menerapkan model Pembelajaran Talking Stick. (2) Hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PAI Kelas VII UPT SPF SMP Negeri 1 Batang Kuis dengan menerapkan model Pembelajaran Talking Stick. Bentuk penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dengan empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan serta refleksi dengan lokasi penelitian di V UPT SPF SMP Negeri 1 Batang Kuis dan dengan subjek penelitian yaitu siswa Kelas VII yang berjumlah 32 orang. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan tes hasil belajar.Pada penelitian ini teknis analisis data yang dipakai adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi yang dilakukan oleh observer. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini yaitu berdasarkan hasil observasi menyimpulkan apakah dengan penerapan model pembelajaran Talking Stick dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PAI. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa model pembelajaran Talking Stick dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PAI Kelas VII UPT SPF SMP Negeri 1 Batang Kuis Hal ini didukung dari hasil pengujian diperoleh hasil nilai rata-rata siklus I yaitu 75,6 dan nilai rata-rata pada siklus II yaitu 82,5. Jadi peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II yaitu 6,9. Keunggulan dari model pembelajaran Talking Stick adalah adanya kerja sama dalam kelompok dalam menentukan keberhasilan kelompok tergantung keberhasilan individu, sehingga setiap anggota kelompok tidak bisa menggantungkan pada anggota yang lain. Pembelajaran Talking Stick menekankan pada aktivitas dan interaksi diantara siswa untuk saling memotivasi saling membantu dalam menguasai materi pelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan guna mencapai prestasi yang maksimal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran. Maka dari itu penelitian yang saya angkat adalah Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Animasi Pada Tema 5 Cuaca Berbasis Mind Mapping Kelas III SD. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDS Mayang Sari Medan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam jenis penelitian dan pengembangan atau research and development (R&D), Model penelitian ini menggunakan model ADDIE. Subjek pada penelitian ini satu ahli materi, satu ahli media, satu orang guru wali kelas III untuk praktisi, 1 orang siswa kelas III uji coba produk perorangan. Metode pengumpulan data melalui metode angket/kuisioner. Untuk mengetahui media pembelajaran tujuan penelitian yang kedua dengan melihat hasil validitas menyimpulkan bahwa pada hasil oleh ahli materi dengan skor 87% dengan kualifikasi “Layak”, ahli media dengan skor 82% dengan kualifikasi “Layak”, pada angket guru dengan skor 89% “Layak”, dan uji coba perorangan dengan skor 84% “Layak”.. Media pembelajaran ini diharapkan dapat membuat proses belajar lebih interaktif dan menarik, sehingga dapat meningkatkan partisipasi, perhatian, dan kreativitas siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam keaktifan siswa setelah penggunaan media pembelajaran animasi.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the problems of students of the English education study program at UIN Sjech M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi. Some students pronounce the dental fricative sound in various ways. First, some students pronounce the sound /?/ correctly, however, there are also some students pronounce the sound /?/ by replacing it with the sound /t/. Second, some students pronounce the sound /ð/ correctly, however, there are also some students pronounce the sound /ð/ by replacing it with the sound /d/. The researcher's question in this study was how students pronounce the dental fricatives sound at the initial, medial and final position of a word based on the PRAAT application. The purpose of this study was to analyze the way students pronounce the dental fricative sound at the initial, middle and final of a word based on the PRAAT application. This study uses a qualitative research method with seventh semester students as the research population. The research sample amounted to 13. Data was collected through audio recordings. Students are asked to pronounce 12 words that contain the sound of dental fricative sound. The sound is uploaded to the PRAAT software. The results showed that some of the students pronounce the dental fricative sound correctly, showed by a spectogram display like a scribble pattern in the focus phoneme. others pronounce the dental fricative sound incorrectly, showed by an empty area on spectrogram in the focus phoneme. It showed that they replaced the phoneme with another phoneme such as /t/ or /d/. Researchers can conclude as follows. First, some students pronounce the dental fricative sound correctly. Second, most of the students pronounce the dental fricative sound incorrectly.
