Abstract

A competitive auction consists of a public sale managed by a second manager, where sellers and buyers exchange assets as specified in mutual documents. According to the provisions of Article 38(c) of the Financial Regulation No. 4662; these officials cannot purchase goods directly or indirectly in their presence, in accordance with the Secondary Officials Law No. 189/PMK.06/2017. However, the fact that the legislation does not specify specific conditions regarding the concept of "direct or indirect purchase" causes confusion. This ambiguity raises concerns about abuses such as buy-side consultants participating in money laundering (TPPU). This study examines two important issues: the limitations of the term "buyer" in Section 38(c) and the legal benefits provided to employees associated with the buyer-owner. Remain loyal to the judicial system, use law and techniques to analyse the interpretation of the law. The study ends with the clarification of the scope of the ban and the investigation of the legal consequences of non-compliance with the ban. These findings can form the basis for recommendations to the relevant authorities on resolving legal issues and preventing abuse of the auction process, complying with legislation and ethical rules

Abstract

The Law on Harmonization of Tax Regulations (UU HPP) has brought significant changes to the taxation system in Indonesia, especially regarding income tax rates for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). This study aims to analyse the influence of the Law on HPP and the modernization of the tax system on MSME taxpayer compliance. The research method uses a quantitative approach with data collection through a survey of MSME actors in various sectors. The results of the study show that the reduction in income tax rates on MSMEs increases the level of taxpayer compliance. In addition, the application of technology in the taxation system facilitates tax reporting and payment, which in turn encourages MSME involvement in fulfilling their tax obligations. Tax modernization contributes to transparency and efficiency, so that MSMEs feel more comfortable in carrying out their tax obligations. The results of this study are expected to provide input for policy makers in formulating more effective strategies to improve tax compliance and encourage the growth of the MSME sector in Indonesia

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of parental attention and the provision of Educational Play Tools (EPT) on the early reading skills of children aged 4-5 years. The results demonstrate that parental involvement, specifically through active participation in learning activities, significantly contributes to the creation of an environment that fosters early literacy development. Additionally, the provision of Educational Play Tools offers an interactive and engaging learning experience, which further supports the enhancement of reading skills in young children. The findings underscore the importance of a synergistic relationship between parental attention and the availability of Educational Play Tools in establishing a robust literacy foundation during early childhood. Based on these findings, it is recommended that parents increase their engagement in their children’s educational activities and provide EPT that align with the developmental needs of the child. Moreover, the study calls for policies by government and educational institutions to ensure equitable access to high-quality Educational Play Tools, thereby maximizing their impact across diverse socio-economic groups.

Abstract

This research investigates the influence of device usage intensity and parental supervision on child discipline. A quantitative approach was used, with data collected from 30 respondents. Descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics, including Pearson correlation and multiple linear regression analysis, were employed to analyze the data. The results revealed that both device usage intensity and parental supervision have significant positive effects on child discipline. The regression analysis indicated that parental supervision had a stronger influence on child discipline than device usage intensity. Furthermore, the ANOVA test confirmed the overall significance of the regression model. Correlation analysis showed a moderate positive relationship between child discipline and device usage intensity, while a stronger relationship was found between child discipline and parental supervision. The study concludes that parental supervision is a more influential factor in improving child discipline than device usage intensity, highlighting the importance of parental involvement in managing children's digital device usage.
