Abstract

In the context of small and medium enterprises (SMEs), social interaction patterns constitute a critical determinant of organizational dynamics and employee well-being. This study investigates the influence of social interaction patterns on employee job satisfaction at UD Anisa Jaya Kanigoro, Blitar Regency. Employing a quantitative associative approach with simple linear regression analysis, the research utilized a total sample of 10 permanent employees as respondents. Data were collected through validated Likert-scale questionnaires (Cronbach's Alpha: X=0.699; Y=0.831) and analyzed using SPSS. The findings reveal a significant positive influence of social interaction patterns on job satisfaction (t=3.610; p=0.007; β=0.787), with the regression equation Y=-0.984+0.951X indicating that each unit increase in social interaction patterns enhances job satisfaction by 0.951 units. The strength of influence reaching 78.7% demonstrates that relational dimensions dominate over structural factors in SME contexts. Management should prioritize social capital investment through systematic team-building programs, open communication forums, and strengthening reciprocity norms. Future research requires sample expansion and exploration of moderating variables to understand the boundary conditions of this relationship.

The STEM approach emphasizes the integration of cross-disciplinary concepts through contextual projects that encourage students to think creatively, reflectively, and analytically. The research employed a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group design. The sample consisted of 64 eighth-grade students from a public junior high school in East Java. The results indicate that STEM-based instruction significantly enhances students’ critical thinking skills. These findings reinforce that STEM integration is effective for implementing 21st-century mathematics learning.

Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has become a strategic priority for firms seeking to strengthen brand value, particularly in emerging markets where consumer expectations toward ethical and socially responsible business practices are rapidly evolving. This study investigates the influence of CSR on brand equity and examines the moderating role of consumer trust in enhancing this relationship. Utilizing a quantitative research approach, data were collected from 268 consumers in an emerging market context and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings reveal that CSR has a positive and significant effect on brand equity, demonstrating that responsible business initiatives contribute not only to social welfare but also to consumer perceptions of brand value. Moreover, consumer trust significantly moderates the relationship between CSR and brand equity, indicating that CSR initiatives are more effective when consumers perceive the brand as trustworthy. The study enriches stakeholder theory and consumer-based brand equity literature by emphasizing trust as a critical variable that reinforces CSR outcomes. Practical implications suggest that companies in emerging markets should design CSR programs aligned with consumer expectations while ensuring transparency and consistency to build stronger brand loyalty. Future research is encouraged to explore additional contextual factors and cross-industry comparisons for broader generalization.

Abstract

This study evaluates the role of business policy in sustaining competitive advantage within the manufacturing industry by examining three key strategic dimensions: Policy Design, Policy Implementation, and Innovation & Sustainability. Using a quantitative approach and Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), the study collected data from 120 manufacturing employees and assessed the measurement and structural models through reliability testing, validity assessments, and bootstrapping procedures. The results indicate that all constructs demonstrated strong reliability and validity, with indicator loadings exceeding recommended thresholds and HTMT values confirming discriminant validity. Structural model analysis reveals that Policy Design, Policy Implementation, and Innovation & Sustainability each have significant positive effects on Sustained Competitive Advantage, collectively explaining 67.3% of its variance. These findings highlight the importance of strategic alignment, effective execution, and continuous innovation in building long-term competitiveness. The study contributes to strategic management literature by providing empirical evidence on how business policy frameworks and innovation-driven practices jointly enhance competitiveness in the manufacturing sector. Practical implications suggest that firms should prioritize coherent policy development, strengthen implementation mechanisms, and integrate sustainability into innovation strategies to achieve durable competitive advantage.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of financial literacy and risk perception on entrepreneurial decision-making among young entrepreneurs in Indonesia. As youth entrepreneurship continues to expand and contribute to national economic development, understanding the cognitive and behavioral factors that drive entrepreneurial decisions becomes essential. Using a quantitative approach with a sample of 150 young entrepreneurs aged 18–35, data were collected through a structured online questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results reveal that both financial literacy and risk perception significantly and positively influence entrepreneurial decision-making. Financial literacy is identified as the strongest predictor, highlighting the importance of financial capability in shaping rational and strategic business decisions. Moreover, risk perception not only directly affects decision-making but also indirectly influences it through financial literacy, indicating partial mediation. These findings underscore the critical role of strengthening financial knowledge and risk awareness among young entrepreneurs to enhance their decision-making effectiveness and business sustainability. This study provides important implications for policymakers, educational institutions, and entrepreneurship development programs aiming to support the growth and resilience of youth-led enterprises in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study examines the differing positions and functions of the Lembaran Negara Republik Indonesia (LNRI) and the Berita Negara Republik Indonesia (BNRI) as the state’s official media for the publication of legal norms, as well as the juridical implications of these differences for the binding force of legal norms. The background of this research is rooted in the disparity of publication media used for legal products that are hierarchically equivalent, such as statutes promulgated in the LNRI and Constitutional Court decisions that are announced only in the BNRI. This situation raises concerns regarding legal certainty, the effectiveness of legal norms, and the equality of access to legal information for the public. This research employs a normative legal method with statutory, conceptual, and comparative approaches. The findings show that the LNRI functions as a constitutive promulgation medium for the enactment of legislation, whereas the BNRI serves as a declarative notification medium for administrative legal documents and decisions of state institutions such as the Constitutional Court. These differences have implications for the binding force of legal norms: norms published in the LNRI acquire general binding force upon promulgation, while publications in the BNRI emphasize transparency and accessibility without creating new legal norms. The study concludes that although LNRI and BNRI have complementary roles, inconsistencies in selecting the appropriate publication medium may weaken legal certainty and the effectiveness of law enforcement. Therefore, a revision of the national legal publication system is necessary to ensure greater integration and consistency, thereby strengthening the principles of the rule of law, information transparency, and legal certainty

Abstract

The extension of village head terms under Law Number 3 of 2024 has generated significant debate within the context of Indonesia’s democratic rule of law. This amendment changes the previous six-year term for a maximum of three periods to an eight-year term for a maximum of two periods. This article aims to analyze the ratio legis underlying the extension and assess its compatibility with constitutional principles governing democratic governance and the limitation of executive power. Employing a normative juridical method with statutory and conceptual approaches, this study examines the legal framework and democratic implications of the revised provision. The findings reveal that the government’s justification centers on budgetary efficiency, enhanced continuity of development programs, and political stability within village communities. Nevertheless, these rationales are predominantly pragmatic and insufficient when measured against democratic safeguards. The reduced frequency of elections may weaken public oversight, limit leadership circulation, and heighten the risk of power abuse—conditions exacerbated by the high incidence of corruption in village administrations reported by Indonesia Corruption Watch (ICW). Moreover, the policy contradicts the post-1998 reform spirit, which emphasized term limits to prevent authoritarian tendencies. Therefore, the extension requires comprehensive reevaluation to ensure it aligns with democratic values, maintains accountability, and upholds the principles of the rule of law.
