Abstract

The rapid advancement of science and technology has driven innovation in education, particularly in the development of digital learning modules. This study aimed to evaluate a digital learning module based on three key aspects: usability, content quality, and effectiveness. A descriptive quantitative approach supported by qualitative analysis was employed, involving 59 undergraduate students in the Family Welfare Education program at Universitas Negeri Padang who had used the module for at least three learning topics. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and complemented by student interviews. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, while qualitative responses were examined through thematic analysis. The finfings revealed that the overall evaluation of the module was categorized as “very good” and average score of 4.78 across all aspects. Specifically, usability scored 4.70, content quality 4.82, and affectiveness 4.80. interactive feature such as Quizizz and Kahoot received the highest ratings, while multimedia integration (Youtube videos, images, and audio) effectively enchanced comprehansion. Despite ist overall sucsess, certain features, such as bookmarks, were underutilized. In conclution, the digital learning module was found to be user-friendly, of high quality, and effective in suporting both independent and collaborative learning, making it promising instructional medium for higher education.

Abstract

Learning applied to elementary school-age children is very crucial, because the methods and processes of teaching teachers seem to force students to be able to achieve predetermined competencies. This research uses the (SLR) method. regarding research methods: "Literature" which means it is a critical analysis of the research that is being carried out on a special topic or in the form of a question to a part of science. helps us in compiling a framework that is in accordance with the theory, findings, and results of previous research in solving the problem exposure in the research conducted. The implementation of digital-based learning media on thematic material on scientific abilities can be used optimally, especially for elementary school level students, using digital-based media can certainly stimulate the cognitive, affective and psychomotor abilities of students, especially in accordance with the characteristics of 21st century learning where modern learning utilizes the sophistication of information and communication technology, the role of the teacher as a facilitator is very important in creating interesting and fun learning

Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop learning media for animated videos of energy saving behaviour at Robbani Tutoring in Ogan Ilir Regency. The model suggested by Thiagarajan in terms of defining, designing, developing and disseminating (the 4-D model) is used as a development model. The data were collected by means of questionnaires and interviews. The results of this study indicate that validation from linguists obtained a percentage score of 88.8% with a very feasible category, media experts obtained a percentage score of 90% with a very feasible category, and material experts obtained a percentage score of 97% with a very feasible category. The results of one-to-one trial showed an overall percentage score of 79% with a very practical category and the same was true for the small group trial, which scored 89% in that category. Therefore, it is considered that it is feasible and practical to use the animated video product of energy saving behaviour as a learning media in science subjects for students to learn about energy saving behaviour.

Abstract

One of the issues class XI SMA Negeri 1 Purba students encounter is that the teaching materials still used aren't very diverse; they mostly consist of textbooks, which makes it difficult for students to comprehend the material in the textbook. The goal of this study is to create a STEM-based chemistry module that will enhance student learning outcomes and activities. Research and development (R&D) using the ADDIE development model is the research methodology applied. This STEM-based chemistry module scored on average 89.47% for content feasibility, 90.17% for presentation feasibility, 95.31% for STEM assessment, 82.69% for language feasibility, and 95.16% for graphics, placing it in the category of being "very feasible to use in learning." With average student pretest and posttest scores of 43.57 and 86.43 in small groups and 39.67 and 84.67 with an N-Gain score of 0.75 for student learning outcomes in large groups, the STEM-based chemistry module developed was deemed effective for improving student learning outcomes and student learning activities. The average value of all student learning activities was 77.4% with high criteria.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the perceptions of English language education students towards applications that are used effectively and the most effective applications for online learning in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic. This research uses the SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) method. The subjects of this study were 105 sixth-semester students of English Language Education at UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanudin Banten. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. Analyze data using descriptive statistics and structural equation modeling in inferential statistics. The findings showed that students had a positive or positive perception of effective applications for online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. Based on the findings, it can be seen that the application used by students in online learning in this pandemic era is very effective because the distance learning process has become easier with the application. Then 77% of respondents said that the most efficient application used in online learning is Google Meet because, technically, Google Meet is easier to use, does not require much internet costs, does not interfere when online learning, and is convenient to use.

Abstract

This study focuses on the effectiveness of using Genre Based Approach (GBA) to improve reading comprehension of narrative texts in young learners who have an age range of 11-12 years and aims to determine the level of students' reading ability in the form of narrative text. The classroom Action Research is a research method with pre-test, cycle 1 and cycle II. The researcher finds a positive side from using GBA to enhance reading comprehension in narrative text for young learners. This is evidenced by the significant increase that occurred. Previously, the average score was 63.8, now it has increased to 76.9 in cycle 1. The increase from pre-cycle to cycle I was 13.1 points. Then, in cycle II pupils obtained an average score of 81.9. Furthermore, the increase in students' abilities from cycle I to cycle II increased by 5 points. Thus, students experienced an increase from pre-cycle to cycle II of 18.1 points. Therefore, the results of this study can be used as a reference for educators so they don't hesitate in using GBA as a medium to improve the reading ability of English young learners in the range pf ages 11-12 years. Because besides increasing interest in reading, this research also increase the level of students' critical thinking in analysing readings and finding the main ideas in all elements of narrative text.

Abstract

The Distance Open Learning (TJJ) program is an education program that offers ease of learning by utilizing information and communication technology (ICT). This TJJ program aims to expand and facilitate access to education for children of Indonesian migrant workers (PMI) in Sabah who are constrained and unable to get education through regular program Indonesian School of Kota Kinabalu. This research aims to evaluate the implementation of the TJJ Program at Indonesian School of Kota Kinabalu (SIKK) using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) research model. This research uses qualitative and quantitative approaches with an evaluation study method. Respondents in this research amounted to 113 students. The results of the evaluation of the SMA TJJ SIKK program based on the evaluation of a) Context, has the ability to implement programs with goals in line with the vision and mission of the school, but still needs improvement so that the program targets can be achieved as a whole b) Input, needs attention to learning models, costs and other supporters to be better and more appropriate, c) Process, needs improvement in terms of learning technology, interactive materials and communication media used, d) Product, the results of the program are in accordance with the objectives to be achieved, namely increasing the ability and opportunity to access education for PMI children.

Abstract

The background of this research was that education in contemporary Indonesia used to emphasize academic abilities. Society used to consider the acquisition of grades in a subject and use it as a measure of success in learning. Additionally, the preservation of cultural heritage and the fundamental cultural data statistics in East Java used to be uneven. This research aimed to: 1) Analyze the concept of habituation learning; 2) Analyze the implementation of the habituation concept in developing talents, interests, and creativity. This research used a qualitative method by observing events that occurred in the field, noting what happened, analyzing documents found in the field, creating transcripts of field findings, and generating a detailed research report. The research was conducted at Andhe-andhe Lumut Art Studio Kediri, observing all the learning activities. Data sources for this research were informants, including studio trainers, studio owners, studio users, and studio students; places and events; relevant studio-related documents. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research resulted the following findings: 1) The concept of habituation was carried out in six stages: thinking, recording, repetition, storage, repetition again, habit; 2) Talent was supported by factors like navitis, empirical, convergence; 3) Interest was affected by factors like attention, pleasure, willingness; 4) Creativity was executed in four stages: preparation, incubation, illumination, confirmation, which encompassed the ability to create dance floor patterns, create movements, and produce new dance works

Abstract

This study addresses low student learning outcomes due to limited use of interactive multimedia and lack of interest in learning using the same model. The aim is to develop valid and practical interactive multimedia through a problem-based learning approach for science subjects. This research is a development research (R&D) with the ADDIE development model. The results of research on learning media development by media validator 1 were obtained " 4.95" with the category "Very Valid". While the results of the assessment of media validator 2 obtained "4.95" with the category "Very Valid", and material validators obtained "4.71" with the category "Very Valid  ". The results of the practicality test to students on interactive multimedia can be concluded that the assessment carried out by students obtained 3.51 results with the category "Practical". The results of the effectiveness test were obtained from the comparison  of pre-test and post-test  scores of  students and obtained the results of the Wilcoxon signed rank test showed that Sig.  (p value) of 0.00 < 0.05, so interactive multimedia is declared "Eeffective" because there are significant differences. It can be concluded that interactive multimedia products are suitable for use in the learning process.

Abstract

The Use of Interactive Learning Video Amat Cantik to Enhance PISA Based Cognitive Learning Outcomes and Science Literacy Skills of Grade VIII Students at UPTD SMPN 5 Camplong. Thesis. Master’s Program in Educational Technology, Faculty of Education, Universitas Dr. Soetomo. Supervisors: (I) Dr. Edy Widayat, M.Sc., (II) Dr. Nuril Huda, M.PdI. This research employs a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, where the research sample is not selected randomly. Data collection is conducted through pre-tests and post-tests. The study is conducted in the experimental class, which receives treatment through the use of Interactive Learning Video Amat Cantik, compared to the control class using conventional learning media (images). The research results are analyzed using a T-paired test with a significance value below 0.05, indicating a difference between the class using the Interactive Learning Video Amat Cantik and the class using conventional media (images).
