Abstract

This study aimed to obtain the right concentration of soursop leaf extract (Annona muricata L.) on mortality and intensity of attack by armyworm (Spodoptera frugiperda) on maize (Zea mays L). This research was conducted at the Center for Forecasting Plant Destruction Organisms (BBPOPT). The research method used is an experimental method using a single factor Randomized Block Design (RAK) consisting of 8 treatments and 5 replications, namely A (Control), B (Synthetic Insecticide Chlorantraniliprole 1.5 ml/l), C (soursop leaf extract 75g /l), D (soursop leaf extract 100g/l), E (soursop leaf extract 125g/l), F (soursop leaf extract 150g/l), G (soursop leaf extract 175g/l), and H (soursop leaf extract 200g/l). The results showed that the soursop leaf extract had a significant effect on the mortality and intensity of the attack of the armyworm Spodoptera frugiperda on maize. Soursop leaf extract starting from a concentration of 100g/l was able to give a significant effect on the intensity of attack and mortality of S. frugiperda so that it can be used as an alternative control on maize (Zea mays L.).

Abstract

Intense competition between industries in the current era of globalization makes PT XYZ to be competitive at all times. Product quality is the main factor in competing. This study aims to look at quality control in the company and efforts to minimize product rejects using the basic seven-tool method. Several basic seven tools were used in this research to assist in data analysis. In the Pareto diagram, it can be seen that the thinning defect is the main defect in the low quality of tray products, with a percentage of 28.03%. In addition, the results of the p-control chart also show that there is still a lack of quality control in the company. A fishbone diagram is used to analyze the root cause of the problem. Suggestions for improvement that can be given for each problem that causes product rejects are to provide standardization in the production process so that the product produced is in accordance with the standards that have been set

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of K3 using the Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP) method in increasing work productivity at UMKM XYZ. The research was conducted using the Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP) method on several work accidents that occurred at UMKM XYZ for a certain period of time and analyzed based on data on the number of work accidents. Primary data collection was carried out by the observation method and secondary data collection by the literature method. In this study, measurements were made by taking into account likelihood and consequence, and then using a risk matrix. That is assessing the existing risk (risk assessment) by defining the criteria for likelihood and consequences (severity). The likelihood criterion used is the frequency which is calculated quantitatively according to company data or records over a certain period of time. Consequences (severity) criteria used are the consequences that workers will receive which are defined qualitatively and take into account the lost working days. So from the results of the study informed that work accidents affect work productivity.

Abstract

Polite behavior in speaking is a culture of the Indonesian nation, however, the culture of politeness which has been passed down for a long time has begun to disappear. Have started to lose manners in talking to other people or with peers. Disrespectful words are often spoken either between the interlocutor or through the mass media. The availability of information technology through mass media can be misused to speak impolitely either directly or indirectly so that it can disturb the peace, thus this coaching activity is carried out so that people have polite behavior in talking between peers. This coaching activity was carried out in the West Wolwal Village. The preparation of the activities was carried out from October to November 2020 and the activities were carried out in 1 day, namely November 22, 2020. The material presented included: good communication ethics, development of information technology, various impacts of impolite speaking behavior both directly and indirectly. . Questions and answers were held at the end of the activity and there was a commitment from the participants to behave politely in speaking.

Abstract

Visum et repertum in cases of premeditated murder is a written report from a doctor that is used as evidence. Judicial Medicine is the process of medical science for the benefit of the court. The function of the Visum et Repertum is as evidence regarding a criminal crime related to the body, life and health of humans in the Visum et Repertum and the results of the examination by forensic medicine. In a series of investigations, evidence is needed which has been stated in Law No. 8 of 1981, namely the statements of the Experts regarding Visum et Repertum. Proof of Visum et Repertum in criminal matters is the same as evidence, which has been regulated in Article 184 of the Criminal Procedure Code, as legal evidence. The purpose of this study is to find out the role of Visum et Repertum in premeditated murder cases, to find out the obstacles experienced by investigators in handling premeditated murder cases, and to find out the consequences that arise if a defendant does not admit the evidence of the Visum Et Repertum results.

Abstract

Every teacher has knowledge and understanding of character education, but not all teachers have mastered the methods in shaping children's character. The reason was the weakness of the teacher's creativity in shaping the child's character. The traditional gatrik game can actually be used as a teacher as a medium in shaping children's character. This has been done by the teacher at SDN Jangkar Cilegon. This study aims to describe the efforts to shape children's character with the traditional gatrik game at SDN Jangkar. The study was conducted with a phenomenological type of research with the subjects of the principal, teachers, and students of the Jangkar Elementary School. Data were collected using interviews, observations, and document studies, then data analysis was carried out in three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results of the study describe that efforts to shape children's character with traditional gatrik games at SDN Jangkar are carried out in three stages. First, introduce the values ​​of kindness through traditional games. Second, to encourage children to realize good values ​​when playing with traditional games. Third, provide instructions for children to display good behavior when playing with traditional gatrik games. In the implementation of the three stages, the teacher not only accompanies and teaches how to play but also becomes a role model for children to do good things when playing with traditional gatrik games.

Abstract

This study aims to find out and examine the Cappacity Building of the Social Service in Reducing Extreme Poverty in Karawang Regency by using the Gandara theory in Bambang Irawan (Organizational Capacity and Public Service, 2016) in which there are dimensions of capacity building covering five dimensions, namely (1) Preparation, (2) Analysis, (3) Planning, (4) Implementation, (5) Evaluation. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The data collection technique was carried out through triangulation which included interviews, observations and documentation studies, then the data that had been obtained were analyzed through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of research and discussion show that it is still not optimal in all dimensions of the Social Service Cappacity Building variable in reducing extreme poverty in Karawang Regency where preparations are still immature so they are not able to take advantage of opportunities from natural and industrial potential, the analysis is not sharp enough to cause poor planning. not very good, which causes the percentage of the extreme poor in Karawang to be higher than the average for the province of West Java. Implementation is carried out through several assistance programs not towards community empowerment so that the Social Service is required to be able to carry out a large-scale evaluation in order to optimize the prevention of extreme poverty in Karawang Regency.

Abstract

The existence of the COVID-19 pandemic has forced the government to make policies for student learning activities directed at online learning or online at home, but still with the supervision and control of teachers/counselors and parents through online learning. Guidance and counseling are efforts made to help optimize individuals. The individuals who are assisted are people of various ages, both men and women, individuals and groups and individuals in this case are individuals who are developing. In an educational institution, guidance and counseling is a very important component to promote the quality of schools. The method used is a qualitative method where this qualitative research method is considered the most appropriate because it can provide an overview of the reality regarding the management of guidance and counseling during the COVID-19 pandemic. The method used in data collection is using the interview method through the zoom application.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between arm muscle strength and chest pass in male students of sports education STKIP Kie Raha Ternate City. The method used is a survey with correlational analysis techniques. The population in this study were students of STKIP Kie Raha, Ternate City. There is also a sample of 27 students. Data analysis using the product moment pearson at significant level = 0,05 %. The results of the calculation of data analysis of the two variables show that, r-count = 0.977 > at a significant rate of = 0.05%, so it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between arm muscle strength and chest pass in STKIP Kie Raha students, Ternate City.
