Abstract

Spirituality campus climate and spiritual performance have been a large amount of research study in recent years. Research has found that spirituality campus climate is one of the most significant contributors to students’ spiritual performance. However, there is only a little research done on the link between these two variables in the context of Adventist tertiary level of Indonesia. This article explored the influence of the spirituality campus climate to students’ spiritual performance. A total of 244 students of Universitas Klabat participated in this study. The findings showed that: (1) using Pearson’s correlation, all dimensions of spirituality campus climate (campus spirituality programs, religion class, and teachers’ spirituality performance) and students’ spiritual performance had a positive and significant relationship (r = .485, p < .001) , and (2) using multiple regression analysis, all dimensions of spirituality campus climate help predict 32,1% of the total variance of students’ spiritual performance.

Abstract

A character can bring someone to the succeed and unsucceed life. That’s why someone should able to create a good character in their life, especially for the children because they still have so many chances to pursue their future. Thus, this research paper wants to give some discussions about a method that wil be used to solve the problems in students’ character and moral, and that is making a learning resource for the students about moral value and characterbuilding by using folklore. This research used a research design in qualitative research method. Thus, this research would be contained of research instruments, technique of data collection, research method, data resource, and data analysis as the research design of this research, to findout the answer of this research’s problems. The researchers had found out that there were many moral values and character buildings in this folklore. The moral values were wisely govern, patient in life, cooperate, obey the rules, and fulfill the promise. The character buidings were responsible, caring each other, affectionate, never give up, and willing to sacrifice.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of social studies learning motivation with powtoon learning media on class IV students, determine the effect of social studies learning outcomes with powtoon learning media on fourth grade students, find out the difference in the influence of social studies learning motivation with powtoon learning media on fourth grade students. . This study uses an experimental approach with a pure experimental type because of the experimental and control classes, while the design used is the pretest posttest control group design. The data collection technique used a test consisting of pretest and posttest, and also used a questionnaire on learning motivation. The instrument test consists of a validity test, a reliability test, a difficulty level test for items, and a question item difference test. Data analysis used normality test and homogeneity test. Hypothesis test using N-gain and t test in regression analysis. In this study, Powtoon learning media affects the social studies learning motivation of fourth grade students at SDN Ngablak 01, this is based on the acquisition of the average (mean) N-Gain score on the motivational measurement scale in the experimental class by applying the Powtoon learning media to obtain a value of 57% included in quite effective category. (2) Powtoon learning media has an effect on social studies learning outcomes for fourth grade students at SDN Ngawen. this is based on the acquisition of the value that the average (mean) N-Gain score of the learning outcome measurement scale in the experimental class by applying the Powtoon learning media obtains a value of 55% which is included in the quite effective category. (3) Based on the results of the independent sample test table test results, it is known that the sig value on Lavene's Test is 0.548> 0.05 which this result has the N-Gain t test result, the score is greater than the learning outcome 0.541> 0.05. It can be concluded that learning motivation has a greater impact than learning outcomes using powtoon media in grade IV SD social studies material in Cluwak District, Pati Regency.

Abstract

Mina Sejahtera UMK is a company or home industry engaged in fish processing in Pulau Lawas village. One of its products is badhogak fish noodles. Problems that arise from packaging, product marketing, and bookkeeping in production activities. The purpose of this service is to improve the quality of packaging on Sunti Sukaku products, especially badhogak noodles, to improve labeling quality, to increase marketing both online and offline, to minimize expenses and maximize income with good business management, and to improve the feasibility of the badhogak noodle business. The results of the feasibility study for the badhogak noodle business at Mina Sejahtera UMK went well and as planned. These activities include the manufacture of Sunti Sukaku products, packaging of Sunti Sukaku products, labeling of Sunti Sukaku products, the marketing of Sunti Sukaku products, making bookkeeping or financial management formats for Mina Sejahtera MSEs to be able to continuously monitor expenses and income obtained from product sales so that they can know the expenses and income of this Badhogak noodle business. Hopefully in the future, UMK Mina Sejahtera could be a big industry with high income

Abstract

This study aims to describe the needs of Android-based learning media on the digestive system material, design Android-based learning media for fifth grade students, analyze the effectiveness of Android-based learning media to improve learning outcomes of fifth grade students' digestive system materials. This research is a research development or Research and Development (R&D) using the Borg and Gall model development method which aims to develop Android-Based Learning media. Qualitative data collection techniques through documentation, interviews and observations, while quantitative data collection techniques through tests and questionnaires. The resulting product is in the form of Android-Based Learning. Analysis of Android-Based Learning needs by teachers and students, validation is carried out by material experts, media experts and practitioners, effectiveness test by analysis of learning outcomes. The subject of the limited product trial in this development research was class V SD Negeri 1 Nambuhan, namely 17 students. The test subjects were 54 students as the experimental class and 47 students as the control class. Data collection uses an Android-Based Learning needs questionnaire, Android-Based Learning assessment, and student learning outcomes tests. The data analysis technique uses Android-Based Learning needs analysis, validation sheets, and t-test acquisition analysis to determine the effectiveness of the Android-Based Learning developed. The result of the research is the development of Android-Based Learning based on the needs of teachers and students and has received validation from experts. Product trials are carried out on a limited scale and on a wide scale. The results of the limited trial showed an increase in learning outcomes with an n-gain value of 0.696 in the medium category. The results of the large-scale trial on the pretest with a significance value of 0.559 which means there is no difference in the average value in the experimental class and the control class. The posttest value with a significance value of 0.000< 0,05 means that there is a difference between the average posttest value of the control class and the experimental class. From the statistical test, it can be concluded that the development of Android-Based Learning media can improve learning outcomes in the digestive system material for fifth grade elementary school students in Purwodadi District.

Abstract

The rapid development of shrimp farming has created problems. One of the main problems in shrimp ponds is the quality of pond water which must be in accordance with the needs of shrimp life, the monitoring process is usually done manually. Internet of Things (IoT) based shrimp pond water quality monitoring is made to make monitoring easier. The device has 2 systems, namely 3 inputs in the form of a temperature sensor, a pH sensor and a salinity sensor, while the output part is an LCD (Liquid Crystal Display), Blynk, water pump, dc fan and dc motor controlled by Arduino Mega 2560. The process of sending data to Blynk uses NodeMcu. Test analysis is done by taking samples from different values. The formula y=a+bx is used in sample processing using linear regression. The average accuracy of each temperature sensor = 99.10%, pH sensor = 99.09% and salinity sensor = 90.98%. The error of each temperature sensor = 0.90%, pH sensor = 0.91% and salinity sensor = 9.12%.

Abstract

The aims of the study were to 1) determine the effect of the Student Team Achievement Divisions (STAD) learning model on the science learning outcomes of the Human Digestive System material on students. 2) determine the effect of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model on the science learning outcomes of the Human Digestive System material on students. 3) to find out the differences between the Student Team Achievement Divisions (STAD) and Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning models on the science learning outcomes of the Human Digestive System material for students. This study uses an experimental approach with a pure experimental type because of the experimental and control classes, while the design used is the pretest posttest control group design. Research results: 1) The Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) model has an effect on learning outcomes in science learning material for the human digestive system class VIII at MTs Sarang Rembang, this is based on the acquisition of a Tcount value of 13,291 > t-table 2,06390 and a significance level of 0.000 < 0, 05. 2) The Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model has an effect on the science learning outcomes of the VIII grade human digestive system material at MTs Sarang Rembang, this is based on the acquisition of a Tcount value of 25,485 > t-table 2,06390 and a significance level of 0.000 <0.05. 3) The TGT learning model is more effective than STAD on the science learning outcomes of class VIII human digestive system material at MTs Sarang Rembang, this is based on the Tcount value of 2.278 > Ttable 2.01063 and the significance level of 0.005 <0.05 and the mean value obtained TGT is higher than the mean value in STAD learning (86.4 > 78.66).

Abstract

Geographical factors that exist in Indonesia with a variety of local wisdom wealth in it are owned by the Indonesian people. Both of these things have message and moral values ​​that were passed down by their ancestors. Culture or local wisdom in each region makes Indonesia a country that has a high diversity. Having a diverse and diverse culture in Indonesia is called multiculturalism. The concept of multiculturalism is a concept of national and state life, as well as an acknowledgment of the existence of democratic values. In order for the concept of multiculturalism to develop and be recognized as a unifier between cultures, it is necessary to teach and train the next generation of the nation through the educational process in the education unit. The purpose of this study is to provide deeper knowledge and insight regarding the form of application of local wisdom values ​​in Pati in multicultural education at SDN Tambakromo 01. The research method used in this study is a qualitative approach with a pheomenological model. By applying the values ​​of local wisdom that exist in Pati in multicultural education in elementary schools, it can create tolerance among students of various cultures, and foster mutual respect, and get used to behaving by upholding the culture of courtesy in everyday life.

Abstract

The results of the study 1) There is an influence of school culture on teacher performance at SD Gugus Hasanudin, Kaliori District, Rembang Regency, this is based on a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. While the value of Fcount is 254.551 > Ftable 4.03. The magnitude of the effect is based on the Rsquare value of 0.833. This result means that 83.3% of teacher performance in SD Gugus Hasanudin, Kaliori District, Rembang Regency is influenced by school culture while the remaining 16.7% is influenced by other factors. 2) There is an effect of the principal's academic supervision on the performance of teachers in Hasanudin Elementary School, Kaliori District, Rembang Regency, this is based on a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. While the value of Fcount 290.002 > Ftable 4.03. The magnitude of the effect is based on the Rsquare value of 0.850. This result means that 85% of teacher performance in Hasanudin Elementary School, Kaliori District, Rembang Regency is influenced by the academic supervision of the principal. While the remaining 15% is influenced by other factors. 3) There is a significant difference between the influence of school culture and principal's academic supervision on teacher performance based on the influence of school culture on teacher performance of 83.3% while the influence of principal's academic supervision on teacher performance is 85%. These results indicate that the influence given by the supervision of the principal is greater than the influence of school culture (85 > 83.3).

Abstract

Pluralism is the culture of the Indonesian nation as well as an asset of national identity. In a multicultural nation, horizontal conflicts often occur. Multicultural education plays an important role in Indonesian society because of the country’s reputation for embracing diversity and resolving conflicts that may develop as a result of societal change and reform in a way that contributes to the betterment of the entire nation. In the junior high school 2 Arso has diverse ethnicities and cultures, and This can lead to different opinions. Christian students dominate. Every social institution that occurs is legally influenced by who dominates. This article aims to build school life in the context of religious moderation through multicultural-based Christian education. The method used is descriptive qualitative research method and tends to use analysis. Process and meaning (subject perspective) are more highlighted in qualitative research. The importance of building Christian education based on cultural diversity as a reflection of Indonesians in religion in a pluralistic public space. In conclusion, Christian education can be a way to build a moderate and inclusive social life for students
