Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe and analyze the implementation of Christian Religious Education on the moral formation of students at SMP Negeri 4 Manado. In this study the authors used a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study stated that (1) The implementation of Christian Religious Education on the moral formation of students at SMP Negeri 4 Manado has been carried out through teaching and learning activities and mentoring but has not been maximized in the formation of student morals. (2) The implementation of the guidance carried out by the teacher is to direct students to get used to living according to Christian teachings, for example living honestly, politely in speech, polite in acting, helpful, not arrogant and able to keep themselves from associating freely. (3) Obstacles in implementing PAK to shape the morale of students at SMP Negeri 4 Manado, namely the learning conditions during this COVID-19 period which requires students to study from home with inadequate facilities, environmental factors that do not support living conditions, infrastructure facilities in schools that are not yet available. adequate and the role of parents who are less concerned when students study at home. (4) Efforts made by PAK teachers to shape students' morale are trying to find fun and creative learning methods, preparing learning strategies that are appropriate to the current situation and circumstances of COVID-19 and being an example in accordance with Christian teachings From the research results, it is recommended for PAK teachers and parents to be more active in implementing Christian Religious Education so that they can shape students' morale to be good.

Abstract

The study aims to find out and explain how the effectiveness of Christian religious education is offline amid the covid-19 pandemic at the pinamorongaan Christian junior high school. The learning problems that occur in this school are matters that must be dealt with seriously because these learning effectiveness issues have a major impact on students because when learning does not go as expected, it is achieving the educational goals where students can understand and understand the existing learning materials. The methods used in descriptive qualitative research. , images or recordings, with definite data criteria. The informers in the study included 11 people-10 students and 1 teacher in Christian education. Based on the results of the study, it was found that learning ineffective to take offline the study of Christian religious education amid the covid-19 pandemic at the pinamination Christian junior high school. This is because Christian teachers of education, who have never conducted good classes, are unable to make the appropriate maximize of time during the spread of this disease and also cannot use the proper methods of learning offline in the new normal era.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of communication in the development of children's character in their teens. This is done because many teenagers have bad characters, are rude, and like to curse. For this reason, parental warfare is very necessary. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method where the data collected and presented is in the form of words. There are also obstacles experienced by parents in building communication with children, namely, parents who are too busy with work, children who are stubborn and difficult to manage, too broad association. For this reason, parents must be more proactive in controlling and teaching their children repeatedly. There are several things that parents must do in educating their children, namely teaching children to do good habits, mutual respect and respect for fellow family members.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis sejauh mana kreativitas guru-guru sekolah minggu dengan faktor-faktor yang menunjang, faktor-faktor hambatan kreatifitas guru-guru sekolah minggu serta upaya-upaya apa yang telah dilakukan untuk mengatasi hambatan kreativitas guru-guru sekolah minggu di jemaat GMIM Bethel Winangun di masa pandemi Covid-19. Dengan observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara dikumpulkan data-data. Dimana hasil interprestasi dan analisis menunjukkan indikasi bahwa : (1) di jemaat GMIM Betel Winangun, guru-guru sekolah minggunya masi kurang kereatif dalam pendidikan agama Kristen terkhusus pada masa pandemic covid-19 (2) kereatifitas guru-guru sekolah minggu jemaat GMIM Bethel Winangun mengalami hambatan dari berbagai macam hambatan yang ada. (3) guru-guru sekolah minggu yang ada di jemaat GMIM Bethel Winangun di dalamnya belum didapati adanya faktor-faktor signifikan yang menunjang kreativitas mereka. (4) guru-guru sekolah minggu yang ada di jemaat GMIM Bethel Winangun di dalamnya tidak di dapati adanya upaya-upaya signifikan untuk mengatasi hambatan kreativitas yang ada pada mereka Dari hasil temuan tersebut, maka direkomendasikan untuk guru-guru sekolah minggu supaya lebih meningkatkan kreativitas mereka dalam pendidikan agama Kristen khususnya di masa pandemi Covid-19.

Abstract

Pendidikan Agama Kristen dapat menjadi perisai untuk pertumbuhan spiritualitas generasi Z pada era Revolusi Industri 4.0 yang dapat mengancam kehidupan spiritualitas mereka serta iman percaya mereka kepada Allah. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Manado dan bertujuan untuk mengetahui mengenai pertumbuhan spiritualitas dari generasi Z atau siswa Kristen dalam menghadapi era Revolusi Industri 4.0 yang menonjol dengan internet serta smpartphone. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan kegiatan keagamaan masih terus diterapkan yaitu, bina rohani, ibadah setiap hari jumat dan kegiatan tim evanglisasi. Dari hasil temuan ini, maka disarankan kepada guru PAK untuk terus terlibat aktif dalam pertumbuhan spiritualitas siswa Kristen di sekolah dan mungkin bisa menerapkan pendekatan spiritual guna untuk membantu pertumbuhan spiritualitas dari siswa Kristen.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the understanding of Christian students about plagiarism, the forms of plagiarism and the causes, as well as the efforts of Christian Religious Education teachers in preventing plagiarism in online learning of Christian Religious Education at SMA Negeri 9 Manado. This study used a qualitative method with a descriptive method which was carried out at SMA Negeri 9 Manado in 2021. Data were collected through observation, interviews and documentation techniques. Researchers collected data on data sources, namely 2 Christian Religious Education teachers and 8 Christian students. The research time starts from November 2020 to July 2021. From the results of data analysis and interpretation, it is indicated that: (1) Christian students' understanding of plagiarism is good, but the forms and types of plagiarism are not well understood, so they need to be sharpened. (2) The forms of plagiarism carried out in online learning of Christian Religious Education at SMA Negeri 9 Manado are plagiarism from the internet, from material books and from fellow students. (3) The factors that cause plagiarism are freedom to access the internet, increased feelings of boredom and laziness, poor networks, and the number of assignments that students receive from teachers during online learning. (4) The efforts made by Christian Religious Education teachers are to motivate and encourage students, as well as make learning videos so that students who have difficulty participating in online learning in real time can access learning videos at any time so that plagiarism can be minimized.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze how the Church’s Youth Character Forming Through Christian Religious Education (PAK) in the GERMITA Baitani Pulutan Congregation. This research is a qualitative research, conducted at the GERMITA Baitani Pulutan Congregation. Data were collected through observation, interviews and documentation. Through the results of data analysis, it was found that Church Youth Character Building through PAK in the GERMITA Baitani Pulutan Congregation was still lacking because Pelsus only carried out tasks around worship services, both in the field of worship services in the church or in the field of youth worship services which were carried out once a week. There have been no new innovations such as creative youth spiritual activities such as beach worship, as well as seminars that educate youth to pay more attention to character as church youth. Efforts that must be made by pastors, church councils, elders and parents of youth are character building through PAK such as giving advice and examples to youth and involving them in the field of church ministry and special youth ministry.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the use of various methods of inhibiting factors and how to overcome obstacles in the use of varied methods in increasing student interest in learning at SMP Negeri 4 Tombariri. The method used is a qualitative research conducted at SMP Negeri 4 Tombariri. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation that had gone through the data analysis stage. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that there is still a lack of use of variation methods by teachers so that students are not interested in learning or students' interest in learning is reduced. The factors that hinder the use of the variation method in the learning process are the teacher's lack of mastery of various methods or methods of variation in learning and the lack of learning media in supporting the application of the variation method. Efforts made by teachers to increase student interest in learning by using variation methods in the pandemic era are by directing students to be able to use smartphones in the learning process as a supporting medium to achieve learning goals.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan mengenai implementasi metode diskusi dalam pembelajaran PAK di SMP Kristen Koha. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi. wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Dari hasil interpretasi data dan analisis diperoleh bahwa: (1) Implementasi metode diskusi dalam pembelajaran PAK di SMP Kristen Koha adalah belum efektif/belum maksimal karna masih ditemui hambatan/kendala yang ditemui. (2) Hambatan implementasi metode diskusi dalam pembelajaran PAK di SMP Kristen Koha adalah hambatan siswa yaitu ketidaksiapan siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran karna siswa tidak mempelajari materi yang diberikan, siswa masa bodoh tidak ingin terlibat dalam diskusi, ada siswa yang tidak mampu mengeluarkan pendapat secara lisan, siswa tidak percaya diri, cenderung diskusi dikuasai oleh siswa-siswi yang banyak bicara, siswa yang tidak membawa alkitab dan buku pelajaran. Hambatan guru PAK yaitu lebih banyak memberikan tugas kepada siswa, guru PAK tidak memberikan perhatian penuh kepada siswa disaat berdiskusi, guru PAK lebih banyak berbicara dan menjelaskan materi diskusi sehingga siswa tidak berperan aktif dalam diskusi. (3) Upaya yang dilakukan oleh guru PAK untuk mengatasi hambatan implementasi metode diskusi dalam pembelajaran PAK di SMP Kristen Koha yaitu guru PAK memberikan motivasi atau semangat kepada siswa untuk percaya diri mengeluarkan pendapat, bagi siswa yang tidak ada buku pelajaran guru PAK mengarahkan kepada siswa untuk fotocopy,dan guru PAK mengarahkan siswa wajib membawa alkitab pada saat pembelajaran PAK. Berdasarkan penelitian tersebut maka direkomendasikan untuk: (1) Guru PAK lebih mengaktifkan kegiatan metode diskusi pada pembelajaran PAK sehingga kegiatan pembelajaran akan lebih efektif. (2) Siswa agar lebih aktif dalam kegiatan diskusi dan menguasai materi-materi ajar yang diberikan oleh guru PAK serta berupaya membawa alkitab dan menyiapkan buku pelajaran.
