Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the factors that influence earnings management. The research population is Mining Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2019-2021. The type of data used is secondary data, namely data derived from financial reports and annual reports. The purposive sampling method used in this study obtained 43 samples and a total sample of 132 companies from 2019-2021. This study uses the Multiple Linear Regression model. The results of this study indicate that company size has a positive effect on earnings management, managerial ownership has a negative effect on earnings management and institutional ownership, profitability, liquidity and leverage have no effect on earnings management.

Abstract

This study aims to determine, analyze, and explain how the partial and simultaneous influence of location and word of mouth on purchasing decisions at Mie Ayam Cibojong. This research uses a type of quantitative research with descriptive and verification methods. The population in this study is people who have bought cibojong chicken noodles at least once. The sample to be tested in this study amounted to 384 people with sampling using slovin. This study uses a non-probability sampling technique with a purposive technique. The data analysis technique uses scale-range analysis and path analysis with the SPSS 26 for window software analysis tool. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it shows that the correlation coefficient between the location variable and word of mouth is 0.732 at a strong correlation level. The partial effect of location (X_1) on purchasing decisions has a smaller value compared to the word of mouth variable (X_2), which is equal to 12.4%, while the word of mouth variable simultaneously has a contribution of 23.1%, simultaneously the total influence of location and word of mouth on purchasing decisions is 60.3% while the remaining 39.7% is influenced by other factors outside the scope of the research in this study.

Abstract

The goal of this study is to investigate how customer satisfaction, a mediating variable, affects the relationship between service quality and corporate image and customer loyalty at Toko Graha Elektronik in Palembang City. Service quality (X1), company image (X2), customer happiness (M), and customer loyalty were the variables examined (Y). SEM-PLS is the analysis program used. With a sample size of 180 respondents, the population in this study consists of Toko Graha Elektronik customers who have made at least two purchases. The findings indicated that customer satisfaction has an impact on service quality, company image has an impact on customer satisfaction, service quality has no impact on customer loyalty, company image has no impact on customer loyalty, customer satisfaction has an impact on customer loyalty, service quality has an impact on customer loyalty through customer satisfaction as a mediating variable, and corporate image has no impact on customer loyalty through customer satisfaction.

Abstract

The importance of financial reports in showing the performance of company management often encourages management to present it as attractively as possible for users by manipulating the numbers in it. External parties are parties that will experience serious losses as a result of the fraudulent financial statements. For this reason, this research was made with the aim of knowing the effect of financial distress on fraudulent financial reporting and the timeliness of financial reporting. As well as to find out whether the timeliness of financial reporting can be an indication of fraud in financial reports. This research was compiled using the literature review method, with information taken from various scientific journals that are appropriate to the topic of this research, which were obtained from various academic databases. The results of the study reveal that financial distress has the potential to increase fraudulent financial reporting and delays in financial reporting, and the timeliness of financial reporting can be an indication of fraudulent financial reporting.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the relationship between actors in the analysis of communication networks at the actor level and what tweets or tweets are discussed on #WajarPertamaxNaik via Twitter social media. The methods in this study used quantitative methods. The technique used in this study is with Social Network Analysis (SNA), by crawling data using the Netlytic.org website and results to examine relational data not just on the characteristics of individual actors' attributes, and focusing on explaining the patterns between actors, and analyzing the structures of patterns by using them. It's a gephi application. The study's population was 2500 Twitter followers with #WajarPertamaxNaik on April 1, 2022 and a sample of 1074 actors (nodes) were collected on data crawling and data processing. The theory used in this study is Computer Mediated Communication Theory (CMC), Political Communication and Social Media. Research results show that the cybsquad_account is the highest actor popularity, account 13_udien is the closest proximity actor between actor one and actor, actor in law-law is the aerospace centrality actor who becomes the communications liaison actor. There are different communication networks, and the actor cybsquad_ is the actor of eigenvector centrality who becomes an important actor in communication networks with other actors .

Abstract

The role of the State Storage for Confiscated Objects (Rupbasan) is one of the most important things. The State Storage for Confiscated Objects is a place where objects confiscated by the State for the purposes of the judicial process are stored. This investigation process was carried out to find out more about the case of theft of confiscated objects that occurred at the State Storage for Confiscated Objects (Rupbasan). This discussion shows that for the process of investigating a criminal case of theft of confiscated state goods, the process and implementation are the same as the implementation of investigations of other crimes as used by investigators. With the existence of cases of criminal acts of theft that occurred in Rupbasan, the implementation of the investigation process by investigators related to the theft of confiscated state objects has been regulated based on the provisions contained in Kapolri Regulation No. 6 of 2019 Article 10 paragraph (1) concerning Investigation of a Criminal Case, especially in Cases of Theft. Then, there is functional coordination that will be carried out by the investigator and the Rupbasan are interrelated, which later this coordination will be aimed at the perpetrators of the crime of theft. This coordination can be divided into 4 parts, namely: (a) Functional coordination is coordination carried out in the form of calling for information related to the crime of theft that occurred in the Storage House; (b) Functional coordination is also coordination carried out in the form of monitoring or observation; (c) Functional coordination is a form of coordination that is carried out through the holding of cases where the crime of theft occurred at the Object Storage House; and (d) Explanation regarding Functional coordination is also coordination carried out by carrying out the process of securing an item of evidence from theft by the suspect.

Abstract

MENLHK, 2021 Recorded that South Jakarta is the city with the highest waste generation with a total waste generation of 1,937.54 tons/day or the equivalent of 707,201.35 tons/year. In Cilandak District itself in 2022 the volume of organic waste processed from Cilandak District is between 300 and 700 kilograms per day (Folmer, 2022). This study aims to find out "Factors Associated with Household Waste Management Behavior in West Cilandak Village, Cilandak District in 2022." The research was conducted in January 2023 in West Cilandak Village. This study used a cross sectional study design. The population in this study was 150 housewives in Cilandak Barat Village. The sample for this study was 150 people who were selected using stratified random sampling. The data in this study used instruments, then analyzed using testsWho Square with α=0.05. The results showed that 42% of the 150 respondents who behaved badly, and there was a relationship with the education variable (p value = 0.004) knowledge (p value 0.003), attitude (p value = 0.001), and infrastructure (p value = 0.000) with household waste management behavior. There is no age relationship (p value = 0.725) with household waste management behavior. Factors related to household waste management behavior include education, knowledge, attitudes, and infrastructure. Meanwhile, age is not related to household waste management behavior. It is necessary to participate in good activities if the government organizes these activities in order to increase knowledge on waste management, especially for housewives who still have insufficient knowledge.

Abstract

Typical Canned Mask Art in Karawang district is an art that is held as an entertainment event at celebrations and after Eid al-Fitr. In this art there are still many people who do not know the value of local wisdom contained in it. Canned mask art has a characteristic that is different from other mask arts. This study aims to inform and introduce the process of the Canned Mask art in Karawang Regency and inform the local wisdom values ​​contained in the typical Karawang Can Mask art. This study uses a descriptive method that explains and describes a Canned Mask art. The technique used in this study is observation of the place by watching the Canned Mask art performance directly. Abstract

Based on research entitled "Consumer Protection for Middle School Students Against Making Yearbooks That Are Not In Accordance with the Agreement" with the aim of describing legal remedies that students can take to be able to cancel agreements that do not meet the proficient requirements and to describe consumer protection for high school students in carrying out making yearbooks that are not in accordance with the agreement. The research method used is normative legal research related to the applicable law (positive law) in the form of laws and regulations related to underage agreements. The results of the study show that legal remedies that can be taken by high school students to cancel agreements that do not fulfill the legal requirements of agreements can be resolved by means of non-litigation channels first, if no agreement or decision is reached, then they can be resolved through litigation, namely the court. Cancellation can be done because it relates to non-fulfillment of the subjective terms of the agreement, therefore the agreement can be canceled with a 'voidable' lawsuit which results in a constitutive decision. The form of preventive legal protection by the government has not been strictly regulated in Indonesia, therefore preventive protection is needed regarding legal awareness of high school students. Meanwhile, in a repressive manner, the law has provided protection with steps that can be taken, namely making a complaint to the BPSK (Consumer Dispute Settlement Agency) which has been regulated in article 49 paragraph 1 of Law No. 18 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection. Therefore, if there is a similar case, you can make a complaint to BPSK
