Abstract

The aim of this service activity is to support efforts to improve the quality of village officials in their knowledge of drafting Village Regulations through the Legal Drafting model. To achieve this goal, the activities that will be carried out are conducting socialization and training as well as assistance related to the preparation of village regulations as well as discussion space regarding the preparation of regulations in Campurjo Village, Wonomulyo District, Polewali Mandar Regency. By holding this activity, our hope as a service team is that village officials, in this case the Village Head and Village Representative Body, understand the importance of drafting Village Regulations in assisting the implementation of Village Government. This community service activity uses methods in the form of socialization and skills training through lectures, demonstrations and questions and answers with training participants. Before the material is given, the village service team carries out a free test to find out the extent of the Village Officials' knowledge regarding the preparation of Village Regulations.

Abstract

Abstract Received: Revised: Accepted: Statistics has a very important role in physics especially in understanding and analyzing experimental data and in explaining physical phenomena involving many particles or complex systems. Some of the basics of statistics in physics include descriptive statistics, probability distributions, inferential statistics, Boltzmann distribution and Maxwell-Boltzmann distribution, quantum statistics, statistical theory, Monte Carlo methods, and weakness theory. Statistics is an important tool in physics for processing and analyzing experimental data, modeling the behavior of physical systems, and making predictions based on probability. This helps physicists understand the complex world of physics and contributes to the development of better physical theories. (*)

Abstract

Dalam mengentaskan kemiskinan harus dilakukan secara terpadu dan bersamaan seperti pengangguran, Pendidikan dan pembangunan. Dalam data yang ada, kemiskinan di provinsi Bali menunjukkan masih terdapat kesenjangan tingkat kemiskinan antar Kabupaten/Kota di Provinsi Bali karena Pembangunan yang cenderung hanya terpusat pada kota dan juga lapangan pekerjaan yang kurang merata sehingga terjadi kesenjangan antar wilayah provinsi Bali. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu 1) Untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat korelasi antara pertumbuhan ekonomi, tingkat Pendidikan, tingkat pengangguran dan pengeluaran pemerintah terhadap kemiskinan kabupaten/kota di Provinsi Bali. Teknik analisis menggunakan Teknik analissi deskriptif, dan uji korelasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pertumbuhan ekonomi memiliki korelasi yang kuat terhadap tingkat kemiskinan pada Provinsi Bali, tingkat pendidikan memiliki korelasi yang kuat terhadap kemiskinan di Provinsi Bali. Sedangkan, hasil penelitian tingkat pengangguran memiliki korelasi yang lemah terhadap kemiskinan di Provinsi Bali. Selanjutnya, pengeluaran pemerintah memiliki korelasi yang sedang terhadap kemiskinan Kabupaten/Kota di Provinsi Bali.

Abstract

One of the factors that can influence the quality of election implementation and its outcomes is political literacy. Political literacy plays an important role in ensuring high-quality elections. However, unfortunately, as the dominant group of voters in the upcoming 2024 elections, Generation Z lacks interest in political issues and problems. On the other hand, social media, which is closely associated with Generation Z, presents a vast amount of political information. This research aims to delve deeper into whether the exposure to political information on social media affects the level of political literacy among Generation Z. The study utilizes a quantitative method to examine the impact of information exposure on social media on the political literacy of Gen Z. Data collection was conducted through a survey involving 99 respondents. The results of this study indicate that the massive exposure to political information contributes to the development of political literacy among Generation Z.

Abstract

The new generation has many tendencies which are very elusive. Generation Z is a generation that is different from other generations in the way they work and their work motivation. Generation Z is an ambitious, creative generation, learns online, and has more friends than the previous generation. Generation Z has a more reliable ability to do several tasks at once. This makes Generation Z more productive. This study aims to explore the characteristics of the work that is the desired work goal of PTKI students in Indonesia. This research will also verify the effect of gender on the work goals of Islamic Religious College (PTKI) students. This research is a field research with a quantitative approach. The parametric statistical analysis used is the independent sample t-test because the data is normal and homogeneous. The analysis aims to see differences in the work goals of men and women. The results of the different test can be the basis for deciding whether there is an effect of gender on work goals. The results showed that gender had no effect on the work goals of UIN Antasari students where the criteria for student work goals had similarities between men and women. The similarity of work goals is evidenced by the results table for male and female student respondents. This means that the work goals of UIN Antasari students, both male and female, tend to want jobs that do not interfere with worship time, are in accordance with the ethics that exist in society, and jobs that have many opportunities to learn new things for them.

Abstract

E-Wom Has A Very Significant Influence On The Decisions Of Prospective Students In Choosing The Universities They Are Interested In. This Study Aims To Identify And Analyze Intrinsic And Extrinsic Motivation And E-Wom Participation Of Antasari State Islamic University Students, Which Include Efforts To Create Statuses, Share Reviews, Comments, And Recommendations Through Social Media. Data Collection Through Questionnaires Distributed To Students Online. There Were 213 Participants In This Study Consisting Of 131 Women And 82 Men. The Results Of The Linear Regression Test Show That There Is A Significant Influence Of Intrinsic And Extrinsic Motivation On Student E-Wom Participation. The Results Of This Study Indicate That Intrinsic And Extrinsic Motivation Have An Important Role In Encouraging Students To Be Active In Providing Reviews And Comments On Social Media Related To Their Schools/Madrasas And Colleges. Based On These Findings, Universities And Educational Institutions Can Develop Programs And Initiatives Aimed At Facilitating Student Participation In E-Wom. By Leveraging The Power Of E-Wom As A Marketing Strategy, Educational Institutions Can Influence The Decisions Of Prospective Students In Choosing Educational Institutions Or Colleges That Suit Their Interests.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate teacher procedures when using the CLT technique in teaching speaking, as well as to understand students' answers and opinions about the use of CLT methods in the classroom. As a research design, the author employs interviews and field notes. The authors analyze instructors' and students' learning activities regarding speaking in the classroom using CLT utilizing interviews and field notes. The benefits of employing CLT include that teachers conduct question-and-answer sessions with students, and the frequency with which students respond to learning activities such as answering questions is increasing. As a result, one of the challenges of Communicative Language Teaching is that students continue to feel anxious and nervous if they make mistakes during the learning process. Based on the results of the study, students indicated that CLT aided them in the process of learning to speak English. This can drive students to learn since they believe that using CLT is more interactive. For students to use these strategies, teachers' roles are critical. Students find it easier to follow the learning process and gain knowledge about the role of language in learning. It is proposed that students apply the strategy in the learning process when learning speaking skills.

Abstract

Penyalahgunaan Artificial Intelligence (AI) dalam konteks kriminologi telah menjadi perhatian serius dalam beberapa tahun terakhir. Salah satu bentuk penyalahgunaan yang semakin meresahkan adalah penggunaan AI untuk menciptakan konten deepfake, terutama dalam konteks pornografi. Deepfake pornografi menciptakan tantangan hukum dan etika baru, menggoyang privasi individu dan menimbulkan risiko kejahatan seksual. Selain itu, AI juga digunakan untuk pencurian data pribadi, yang dapat berdampak serius pada keamanan data individu dan organisasi. Artikel ini akan menyajikan tinjauan kritis terhadap masalah ini, melibatkan aspek-aspek kriminologi seperti motivasi, serta respons hukum dan teknologi terhadap penyalahgunaan AI. Artikel ini menggunakan metode penelitian hukum normatif yang bersifat kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan datanya berupa interview dan studi pustaka. Upaya untuk mengatasi tantangan ini memerlukan kolaborasi antara pihak berwenang, peneliti, dan pemangku kepentingan lainnya untuk mengembangkan strategi yang efektif dalam menghadapi ancaman baru ini.

Abstract

Science has played an important role in creating a progressive and sustainable society. The contribution of science to societal development covers various fields, including technology, health, environment, nutrition, energy and education. Through scientific methods and in-depth research, science provides a deeper understanding of the world around us and opens the door to innovation and progress. Science has also produced breakthroughs in the health sector, including vaccines, drugs, medical technology, and surgical procedures that more effective. In the environmental field, science has contributed to our understanding of the threats posed by climate change, pollution, and other environmental damage. Through research and innovation, science has contributed to solutions such as renewable energy, waste processing technology, and sustainable agricultural practices. By harnessing this scientific knowledge, society can respond to environmental challenges in a more sustainable way. In the energy sector, alleviating poverty by expanding access to knowledge has increased understanding of efficient and alternative energy use, including renewable energy sources and energy-saving technologies. Education is also an important contribution of science in building a progressive and sustainable society. Abstract

After the collapse of the Soviet Union, the United States became the sole superpower, giving it the confidence to intervene in the internal affairs of other countries. This kind of phenomenon is visible today in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. In this conflict the United States was involved by providing support to Ukraine in facing Russia. The involvement of the United States is seen as their effort to guarantee national security and the interests of their country. This article aims to explain how the United States was involved in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, as well as how the United States' national interests behind its involvement in the conflict colored the dynamics of relations between Russia and Ukraine from 2015 to 2021. The research methodology uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data collection technique was carried out using the literature study method using secondary data relevant to the research topic. The problems in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, and the involvement of the United States in providing assistance and support to Ukraine can be seen as a reflection of the competitive conflict between the United States and Russia. The United States' efforts to maintain its position as hegemon in politics and international relations are the reason for the United States' goal of preventing Russian influence in Ukraine.
