Abstract

Cases of human rights violations in the state's internal conflict occurred in Myanmar, where the Myanmar military took over the Myanmar government again. The coup, which began on February 1, 2021, was the beginning of the military's return to power in Myanmar. In the past, the coup was carried out on the grounds that the government in power at that time was unable to maintain the integrity of the country because there were many problems such as ethnic conflicts and failure to maintain economic stability. The UN should have changed the existing situation and in a state of many human rights violations that occurred, could carry out Humanitarian intervention or humanitarian intervention. Based on this presentation, two main problems arise that need to be examined, first related to how the role of the United Nations in handling cases of human rights violations in internal state conflicts according to the 1998 Rome Statute. while the second is how the form of intervention carried out by the United Nations in an effort to deal with cases of killings of protesters in the internal state conflict in Myanmar. This study uses a typology of normative legal research, which more specifically examines legal principles. In this study the author uses the nature of descriptive research, because the author describes the role of the United Nations in handling cases of demonstrator killings in Myanmar based on the 1998 Rome Statute. The result of the research conducted by the author is, The role of the UN is through the UN Charter, through various international agreements under the auspices of the UN, through its Security Council both by providing Security Council resolutions to the country, sending peacekeepers, using defense tools both land, sea, and air in protecting civilians, and intervening directly with regional organizations in those conflict areas. Furthermore, the form of intervention carried out by the United Nations (UN) in an effort to deal with cases of killing demonstrators in the internal state conflict in Myanmar is to issue Security Council Resolution Number 2669 of 2022 which asks Myanmar to immediately stop its actions. The resolution also asked ASEAN to help resolve internal conflicts in Myanmar. As for the International Criminal Court (ICC), Myanmar cannot be dragged to the ICC because Myanmar is not a country that ratified the 1998 Rome Statute.

Abstract

Pendidikan agama Islam memainkan peran penting dalam upaya penanggulangan radikalisasi, khususnya di masyarakat mayoritas Muslim. Artikel ini meneliti peran dan efektivitas pendidikan agama Islam dalam merespons fenomena radikalisasi yang semakin mengkhawatirkan. Melalui kajian literatur dan analisis masalah di lapangan, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi strategi dan pendekatan yang efektif dalam membangun pemahaman Islam yang damai dan toleran. Pendidikan agama Islam dapat menjadi alat yang efektif untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai inklusif dan mengurangi risiko radikalisasi dengan mengajarkan prinsip-prinsip Islam yang mengedepankan perdamaian dan toleransi. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan bagi praktisi pendidikan, pembuat kebijakan, dan peneliti untuk mengembangkan pendekatan yang lebih komprehensif dalam menjaga ketahanan masyarakat terhadap radikalisasi. Dengan mempromosikan pendidikan agama secara benar dan inklusif, harapannya masyarakat lebih dapat menjadi toleran dan terbebas dari ancaman radikalisme. Penelitian ini menawarkan rekomendasi praktis untuk implementasi pendidikan agama Islam yang efektif dalam konteks pencegahan radikalisasi, serta menekankan pentingnya kolaborasi antara lembaga pendidikan, pemerintah, dan komunitas dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang aman dan harmonis.

Abstract

Children's readiness to enter school is a very important thing to consider when children are going to enter elementary school, especially in terms of readiness to receive lessons. If the transition process fails, the next learning process will also fail. Those who must be ready in this transition process are parents, children and schools where the child continues elementary school. This study was conducted to determine the readiness of children's learning maturity from PAUD to elementary school level. This study is a descriptive qualitative study. The subjects of this study were children, parents and teachers in elementary school grade 1. Data collection techniques through interviews and questionnaires as the main data collection. This study also conducted observations and documentation as supporting data. The results of this study indicate that children's learning maturity readiness includes physical and mental readiness, social emotional, cognitive and language. In addition to these factors, the age and motivation of students are also the causes of children's learning maturity readiness in elementary school

Abstract

Today, there are many genetic diseases that cause chronic complications. The 2018 Riskesdas report states that there was an increase in prevalence in DM patients by 2.0% in 2013 and to 3.4% in 2018 of the total number of DM patients in Indonesia (Riskesdas, 2018). The purpose of this study was to see the relationship between hemoglobin levels and impaired kidney function in type 2 diabetes mellitus at Menggala Hospital in 2021. This study used recorded data obtained from Menggala Hospital. The results of this study indicate that CKD patients with a history of Type 2 DM at the Menggala Hospital with the most gender characteristics are women as many as 63 people (56.8 %). The most age is 51-55 as many as 48 people (43.6%). The highest duration of illness characteristic was 5 years as many as 25 people (22.7%). Then it can be concluded that the relationship between Hb levels, GFR, and frequency of hemodialysis with patient characteristics all have a significant relationship / there is a relationship, except for the relationship between hemodialysis frequency and gender characteristics

Abstract

Language is the exchange of sound symbols produced by human speech organs, between members of a society. Communication and language have a very close relationship. Linguistic formulations and communication reviews both agree that language is defined in a way that reflects the relationship between the two. Indonesian has replaced other regional languages ​​used in Indonesia, especially in urban areas and surrounding areas, such as Sasak in Lombok, Samawa in Sumbawa, Balinese in Bali and several other areas in Lombok. These regional languages ​​are used in daily interactions. The aim of this research is to find out how different languages ​​develop in student communication in the UBP Karawang setting. The method used to collect this data is qualitative. This type is clearly asked. Students tend to use different dialect varieties, which are influenced by components such as social, territorial, social and instructive foundations. There are various student dialects in the scholastic environment consisting of formal dialects, everyday dialects, code exchange and code mixing, distance dialects, and non-verbal dialects

Abstract

Technological advances in online payment security have increased consumer trust in online transactions. As a result of developments and evolution in the financial industry and changes in consumer lifestyles, the Paylater service emerged. Paylater services are a form of credit that allows consumers to purchase goods or services without having to pay immediately but can pay later within a certain period. This research aimed to determine the community background in using Paylater and its benefits and risks. Based on the research background, the researcher employed a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The research subjects were the people of Pekanbaru City. Researchers used observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation techniques to obtain information. The research results revealed that the community backgrounds of adopting Paylater were (1) ease of accessing Paylater services, (2) flexibility in payments, (3) varied special offers and promotions, (4) ease of applying for credit, and (5) an integrated application with e-commerce and digital platform. The benefits were easy and practical transactions, enabling people to actualize dream items quickly, fulfilling urgent needs, providing motivation while working, and improving the shopping experience. Meanwhile, the risks of Paylater were being dependent and addicted to Paylater services, disrupted and wasteful financial management, high fines and interest costs, financial pressure and stress, and risks of getting much debt.

Abstract

Learning interest is an important factor that affects learning outcomes and motivates students to be active in learning. The Team Games Tournament (TGT) method effectively increases learning interest by combining elements of games and team competition, creating a fun and dynamic learning atmosphere. TGT encourages active participation, cooperation, and healthy competition, thus increasing students' interest in learning. This study aims to: 1) Know the implementation of the TGT type cooperative learning method in PAI subjects in class VII of SMPN 2 West Karawang, 2) Knowing the interest in learning PAI in class VII of SMPN 2 West Karawang, and 3) Knowing the effect of TGT type cooperative learning method on students' interest in learning PAI subjects in class VII of SMPN 2 West Karawang.This research approach is quantitative with ex post facto method. The sample consisted of 80 respondents from a population of 409 people, selected by cluster random sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation, then analyzed using descriptive and inferential data analysis.The research results indicate: 1) The depiction of the Team Games Tournament method in Islamic education for seventh-grade students at SMPN 2 Karawang Barat is mostly in the medium category with 58 respondents (73%), 2) The depiction of learning interest in Islamic education for seventh-grade students at SMPN 2 Karawang Barat is mostly in the medium category with 59 respondents (74%), and 3) The Team Games Tournament method has an impact on learning interest in Islamic education for seventh-grade students at SMPN 2 Karawang Barat. This is evidenced by a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The impact of the Team Games Tournament method on learning interest is 62.8%.

Abstract

Untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh dari loyalty program terhadap keputusan berkunjung ke dufan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat yang pernah berkunjung ke dufan dan jumlah sampel ialah 100. Peneliti menggunakan teknik sampling convenience sampling, dengan mengambil sampel dari anggota populasi yang dilakukan secara acak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif yang menjelaskan hubungan kausal antara variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen. Peneliti mencoba menjelaskan pengaruh loyalty program terhadap keputusan berkunjung ke Dufan.Hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Loyalty Program berpengaruh secara signifikan (hubungan yang simultan) terhadap keputusan berkunjung ke Dufan dengan F hitung 119,865. Nilai koefisien determinasi(R^2) R Square sebesar 0,550 yang mempunyai arti bahwa faktor variabel bebas (Loyalty Program) memberikan kontribusi terhadap variabel terikat (Keputusan Berkunjung) sebesar 55% sedangkan sisanya 45% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain diluar dari yang diteliti peneliti.Promosikan Loyalty Program secara aktif: Dufan dapat mengadakan kampanye pemasaran yang lebih intensif untuk memperkenalkan Loyalty Program kepada pengunjung. Gunakan media sosial, situs web, dan email untuk menginformasikan keuntungan dan kemudahan memiliki Annual Pass. Penawaran Khusus: Buatlah penawaran khusus untuk pemegang Loyalty Program, seperti diskon di restoran atau toko souvenir, akses eksklusif ke wahana tertentu, atau undangan ke acara khusus.

Abstract

This research aims to understand in depth the way words are selected and used in Indonesian writing, also known as diction. I analyze how this choice of words can influence the way the message is conveyed and understood by the reader. Our research methods involve exploring theories about language and practical examples from existing writings. By considering how words are used in paragraphs and writing as a whole, this research seeks to provide useful insights for writers and readers in improving their ability to communicate in Indonesian.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of Arabic curriculum planning in Islamic educational institutions, focusing on need analysis, vision and mission formulation, curriculum design, implementation, and evaluation. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis, and analyzed using thematic methods. The findings revealed that Arabic curriculum management involves strategic stages to ensure comprehensive learning materials and student competency development. Challenges include limited technology-based learning resources and suboptimal evaluation of the affective domain. Teachers play a crucial role as innovators in the learning process. Overall, curriculum management has been well-executed but requires improvement, particularly in integrating technology and strengthening evaluation. This study concludes that effective management of Arabic curriculum planning supports education quality enhancement through structured and competency-based governance tailored to students’ and societal needs
