Abstract

This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR), which is a cyclical research that aims to improve the quality of classroom learning in a sustainable manner (Maksum, 2012). Therefore, in order to improve the quality of shooting learning in basketball games using the CAR design. The object of this research is the skill of shooting in basketball learning through the Jigsaw cooperative model for class XI students of SMA 15 Kilmury. The research entitled Improving Basketball Shooting Learning Outcomes Through the Application of the Jigsaw Cooperative Model, which was carried out at SMA 15 Kilmury. Based on the results of classroom action research on basketball subjects, Shooting material using the Jigsaw cooperative model can improve student learning outcomes, this is evidenced by the results of student learning in cycle I, the average achievement of student learning outcomes is 26% in the qualification of not yet complete. While in cycle II the average achievement of student learning outcomes is 100% in the qualification of complete. So that students can be said to be successful because many students get scores above the minimum completion score and have reached the KKM. So the author concludes that the use of the Jigsaw type cooperative model in shooting material in basketball games can improve student learning outcomes. This can be proven by the results of the action research that has been carried out in cycle II so that the action hypothesis that has been submitted is accepted.

Abstract

This study uses a qualitative approach with the type of Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects of the study were students of class VII of SMP Negeri 1 Seram Bagian Timur. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation sheets and student assessment rubrics. The study was conducted in two stages. The first stage is Cycle I stage, it is explained that the average value of learning ability is 35% or there are 7 students who have completed learning. These results indicate that in the first cycle classically students have not completed learning, because students who get a KKM score <75 are 65% or 13 students who have not completed out of 20 students. In Cycle II stage, all subjects reach KKM or 100%. In Cycle II, the learning process runs according to the revised design. Based on these data with the application of the Inquiry Learning method, cycles I and II can be seen that there is an increase in learning outcomes after the application of Inquiry Learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between leg length and leg muscle explosive power with the distance of kicks in football games in MA Babang Halmahera Selatan students. This study is a correlational research design. The subjects of the study were MA Babang Halmahera Selatan students. The data sources came from tests and measurements. The results of the study showed that: 1) leg length with the distance of kicks in football games in MA Babang Halmahera Selatan students obtained an r-count value of 0.984 and a sig. value of 0.000. Because the sig. value = 0.000 <α = 0.05, then there is a relationship between leg length and the distance of kicks in football games in MA Babang Halmahera Selatan students. 2) leg muscle explosive power with the distance of kicks in football games in MA Babang Halmahera Selatan students obtained an r-count value of 0.964 and a sig. value of 0.000. Because the sig. value = 0.000 <α = 0.05. then there is a relationship between leg muscle explosive power and the distance of kicks in football games in MA Babang Halmahera Selatan students. 3) leg length and leg muscle explosive power with the distance of kicks in football games in MA Babang Halmahera Selatan students obtained the r-count value of 0.984 and the sig. value is 0.000. Because the sig. value = 0.000 <α = 0.05. then there is a relationship together between leg length and leg muscle explosive power with the distance of kicks in football games in MA Babang Halmahera Selatan students. The conclusions of this study are 1) there is a relationship between leg length and the distance of kicks in football games in MA Babang Halmahera Selatan students. 2) There is a relationship between leg muscle explosive power and the distance of kicks in football games in MA Babang Halmahera Selatan students. 3) there is a relationship together between leg length and leg muscle explosive power with the distance of kicks in football games in MA Babang Halmahera Selatan students.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of dishonorable discharge for police officers who committed desertion in the Riau Regional Police jurisdiction based on Government Regulation Number 1 of 2003. Using socio-legal research methods through interviews and document analysis, the study found that the implementation has not been optimal, evidenced by the absence of dishonorable discharge recommendations in 2022-2023 cases. Several factors hamper implementation, including limited human resources and budget, non-compliance of perpetrators, human rights considerations, and technical constraints. The research suggests that improvement efforts are needed, including personnel additions according to staffing requirements, enhanced inter-agency coordination, stricter sanctions for repeat offenders, and optimization of budget and examination techniques. The study concludes that the Riau Regional Police needs to be more assertive in implementing dishonorable discharge for repeat desertion offenders while encouraging deserters to uphold their commitment not to repeat violations and demonstrate behavioral improvement.

Abstract

The principal's leadership plays a crucial role in achieving educational objectives, especially in remote areas like SMA Negeri 1 Kepulauan Sula. This study examines the strategies employed by the principal to improve the performance of educators and staff in the school. Using a qualitative descriptive method, data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation. Findings reveal that the principal implemented strategies such as human resource development aligned with the school's vision and mission, competency enhancement through training and workshops, and motivation-building initiatives. Challenges identified include varying levels of teacher motivation, limited technological skills among staff, and resource constraints. To address these, the principal adopted structured supervisory plans, technology integration, and adaptive approaches to accommodate diverse teacher needs. The study highlights the significant impact of effective leadership on educational quality improvement, suggesting that similar strategies could benefit other schools facing analogous challenges.

Abstract

Public awareness of the importance of mastering English encourages skill improvement through selecting the right course institution. Course institutions must be managed effectively to achieve optimal results, particularly in the learning process. This study describes English learning management at Small England Cepu, covering planning, implementation, evaluation, supporting and inhibiting factors. A qualitative descriptive method was used, with interviews, observations, and documentation as data collection techniques. Study subjects included three tutors, two students, and one course manager. Data analysis involved collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing, with validity ensured through source and technique triangulation. Results show that: 1) Learning planning covers objectives, materials, time, student conditions, resources, methods, and assessments based on needs and class levels; 2) Implementation includes material development, methods, communication, motivation, classroom management, and evaluation, applied flexibly; 3) Learning evaluation assesses results throughout the process; 4) The learning process is influenced by internal and external factors.

Abstract

This study analyzes the governance system of the Sultanate of Ternate from the perspective of Siyasah Dusturiyah, an Islamic constitutional law concept emphasizing justice, deliberation (shura), and legitimate leadership. As one of the oldest Islamic sultanates in the Nusantara, the Sultanate of Ternate has a governance structure that integrates Islamic law with local customs. The objective of this study is to examine how the principles of Siyasah Dusturiyah are implemented in the governance system of the Sultanate of Ternate and their relevance in the context of modern Islamic constitutional law.This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive analysis method, utilizing historical documents, Islamic legal literature, and relevant academic references. The findings indicate that the Sultanate of Ternate continues to uphold several key principles of Siyasah Dusturiyah, including shura (deliberation), wilayah al-amr (the ruler’s authority in policy-making based on Sharia), and the role of Mahkamah Syar’iyyah in the Islamic judicial system. Additionally, the Bobato Nyagimoi se Tufkange (Sultanate Advisory Council) functions as a supervisory body for the Sultan’s policies, reflecting the ahl al-hall wa al-‘aqd principle in Islamic political theory. Despite adaptations due to modernization and state intervention, the governance system maintains Islamic values in decision-making. This study affirms that the principles of Siyasah Dusturiyah remain relevant in modern governance and can be integrated into Indonesia’s national legal system, particularly in aspects of justice, deliberation, and leadership oriented toward public welfare

Abstract

Perineal infection is a common problem after childbirth. Most of the people of North Maluku, especially the Ternate community, have a culture or tradition in treating lacerations in the perineal area. This study aims to describe the forms and patterns of culture in treating postpartum premium wounds in Dorpedu Village, Ternate Island District. This research is important to do in order to add information and references about the richness of culture or traditions in the form of traditional medicine that are spread throughout Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative approach. A qualitative approach is used because this approach can describe data or conditions in the field specifically. Data collection was carried out using in-depth interviews and observations on groups of informants and key informants. The research instrument is to use a voice recorder that has previously obtained approval from the informant. Sampling in this study is the principle of appropriateness and adequacy. Triangulation of sources to obtain the same information from different informants, while triangulation of methods to obtain data in several ways, namely through in-depth interviews and observations. The results of this study are the culture of the Dorpedu community in treating postpartum mothers is by using traditional medicine, namely drinking rorano or special concoctions from plants, barahu and bafufu. Mothers who have experienced postpartum believe in using medicine based on local culture.

Abstract

The world of marketing and advertising is now increasingly developing with the internet and social networks which play a big role in various areas of life through marketing and advertising. In Indonesia in particular, marketing through advertising on social media is very diverse and each company has its own characteristics in offering their products and services, one of which is Gojek. This research aims to determine the rhetoric and visualization of advertising in the feature offerings made by the Gojek company to attract/stimulate the interest of the Indonesian people in using the Gojek application. The method used in this description is a qualitative method. The conclusion of this research is that the advertising rhetoric and visualization in offering features by the Gojek company to attract/stimulate the interest of the Indonesian people to use it, namely: a) the use of persuasive word selection strategies to encourage consumers to use the Gojek application because of the service features provided can be used remotely, easily and quickly so that consumers do not need to be confused when they need something in any circumstances and is more practical; b) Gojek company's creative marketing strategy, such as choosing a video concept, offering relatively cheap and affordable prices, and providing lots of discounts.

Abstract

The article entitled "Analysis of Phonology in the Everyday Dialect of the Indigenous Village of Panglipuran Bali" aims to 1. know the phonological elements of the language of the Indigenous Panglipuran Bali 2. know the phonological impact on the diversity and variation of the dialect of the daily language of the Indigenous Penglipuran Bali. This research uses descriptive qualitative method/approach, data collected through direct observation and interviews with specially selected informants. Conclusion 1. the phonological elements of the language of the indigenous people of Panglipuran Village Bali is the dialectical and phonological processes that occur in the category of the sounding process. The element of phonology of the language of the Penglipuran indigenous village community in the form of "sounding process" is found in the vocal element. Their language is characterized by several words that end with the sound - the sound of the vowel letter "o" resulting from the absence of airflow resistance in the oral cavity. There is in the pronunciation of an expression such as "ki kijo" which means "where to go" "mo" means "want" so that this becomes a phonological sounding process that characterizes the Penglipuran village community.2.phonological impact on the diversity and variation of dialects of the daily language of the indigenous people of Panglipuran Village Bali is in the process of communication with fellow citizens, this dialect becomes a distinctive language that is used every day by the people of panglipuran village by having a characteristic sounding process that is in accordance with the use of words in the village of panglipuran.
