Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of the Family Hope Program (PKH) in alleviating poverty‎ from the perspective of Islamic economics, focusing on the case study of Sorkam Barat Sub-district,‎ Tapanuli Tengah Regency. The research delves into the context where despite the implementation of‎ PKH, poverty persists in the region, possibly due to misalignment with Islamic economic principles or‎ inefficiencies in the program's execution. The study poses questions regarding the PKH's impact on‎ poverty alleviation and its compatibility with Islamic economic principles. Employing a qualitative‎ approach, data collection involves interviews, document analysis, and observations. The findings‎ reveal various challenges hindering the PKH's effectiveness, such as improper targeting, lack of‎ awareness among beneficiaries, and delays in aid disbursement. In addressing these issues, the study‎ recommends enhancing the program's alignment with Islamic economic principles, improving‎ targeting mechanisms, raising awareness among beneficiaries, and streamlining aid distribution‎ processes. Ultimately, the research contributes to the discourse on poverty alleviation strategies and‎ highlights the importance of considering Islamic economic perspectives in social welfare programs.

Abstract

This research aims to explore factor on Leadership Expectation concept for safety culture in company which acquired by holding company through integration process for almost 5 years. This study uses a mixed-method approach, quantitative survey and qualitative semi-structured interview, to obtain a comprehensive understanding of a company's culture following an integration. In the qualitative method, semi-structured interviews were carried out with 6 respondents on managerial level. The Quantitative survey was conducted involving 45 participants representing technician, operators and shift supervisor. The data analysis methodology uses Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) to get into stakeholder awareness and understanding of safety behavior. The result revealed above 58% score analysis of five factors shown that employee can demonstrate commitment towards achieving goals, prevent errors and break away from old habits to attain favorable outcomes. The interview feedback show that the respondents believe this cultural journey have an impact to the operational. The main challenge is changing stakeholder behavior and culture that has been embedded from previous times. To overcome the challenges, Leader can provide clear justifications for each safety concern, demonstrate commitment towards achieving goals, offer support to colleagues who take initiative and make decisions, and are open to considering other ideas and perspectives.

Abstract

In two consecutive legislative elections, a candidate was successfully elected by using social media communication methods and abandoning conventional communication patterns. This study aims to understand and analyze the communication methods of the political figure H. Ismail Bachtiar, S.KM., MM on Instagram. The study examines the Instagram account of H. Ismail Bachtiar, S.KM., MM as a channel for political communication. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, documentation, note-taking, and transcription of content posted on Instagram during the candidacy period of H. Ismail Bachtiar, S.KM., MM as a Legislative Candidate for the DPR RI. This study analyzes the role of storytelling style in communication using the copywriting and rhetorical theories. The findings indicate the political actor's proficiency in expressing ideas, thoughts, and political visions through rhetoric and in crafting personal narratives with a storytelling style to enhance engagement, shape self-image, and build a strong personal identity. The study recommends that political actors further enhance narrative content about prominent figures and their thoughts to inspire young people to enter the political arena.

Abstract

Gianyar Regency has long been known for its traditional cuisine in the form of Ayam Betutu and Babi Guling, but at this time the noodle dish has now developed into one of the people's favorite foods in Gianyar Regency. The characteristic of noodle dishes is their affordable selling price both in stand-alone noodle restaurant chains and in large restaurant chains. This study aims to analyze consumer preferences in noodle restaurants in Gianyar Regency using conjoint analysis with the variables of place, service, atmosphere & parking, safety and hygiene, brand & promotion, price, and product summarized from the results of the research of Fidan et al., (2021); Farooqui and Alwi (2019); Wang et al., (2016); Chua et al., (2020); Kim (2018); Thomadsen (2007); Baharta et al. (2022); Mendoza-Carpio et al., (2021), and Saefudin, et al., (2020). The results of the study show that the variable indicators that are consumer preferences in Gianyar Regency are: strategic location of the restaurant, hygienic food and beverages, attractiveness of the building and dining room, neat and clean appearance of the restaurant staff, adequate parking lot, price according to budget, food price according to expectations, speed of service, product popularity, clean environment around the restaurant, Menu Selection, Restaurant Location Close to Workplace, Brand Image, Word of Mouth Promotion.

Abstract

The phenomenon of overclaim, which was first popularized by the TikTok account "Doctor Detective", has attracted public attention because it has dared to reveal facts based on the results of a skincare pregnancy laboratory test. The issue of overclaim can be a weapon in the brand image of a feminine hygiene whose existence is much more sensitive because it is related to the care of the reproductive organs. Therefore, this study aims to produce a strategy in building the brand image of "Gendes" as a sample, through the visual element in content of the doctor's TikTok video matrix to make it more attractive and reliable as one of the feminine hygiene. So that the target market is right on target, including educational campaigns about reproductive health care, especially for married women and children. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach, involving data collection techniques such as literature studies, observations, documentation, interviews, and focus group discussions. The results of the study show that this strategy can improve the brand image of "Gendes" to be more reliable, because it is built from a strategy with a focus on visualization of the content of the doctor's video matrix that is convincing, credible and impresses the audience. In conclusion, a strategy to build a brand image when partnering with doctors is needed to build awareness, consideration, decision and retention/loyalty in the TikTok video visual container so that the content and safety are more reliable for consumers of the "Gendes" brand as a feminine wash product in accorandce with TikTok and health rules.

Abstract

This study aims to determine student satisfaction with the service of making student ID cards at Muhammadiyah University of Pontianak. This study uses the SERVQUAL method, an empirical method in analyzing services in order to improve the quality of Student Affairs services. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. The sample in this study amounted to 100 respondents from 14 departments at Muhammadiyah University of Pontianak. The results of this study indicate that the services available at BAAK Muhammadiyah University of Pontianak include Student Affairs Services and academic services that can be accessed according to student needs, with the percentage of services that have been channeled according to female gender with a percentage of 61% and Male gender 33% who have received services provided by the university.

Abstract

The Qur'anic perspective on the family emphasizes the importance of close and supportive relationships between family members. The Qur'an provides guidelines regarding clear roles and responsibilities for each family member, such as the father as the leader and organizer of the economy, and the mother who educates the children. In the context of husband-wife relationships, the Qur'an emphasizes the importance of justice and equality. Families are also taught to have unity of purpose in worshipping Allah SWT and creating pious generations. In addition, forgiveness and forgiveness among family members are important principles to maintain harmony. The Qur'an portrays the family as an important institution in shaping the character, morals and spirituality of Muslims.

Abstract

This study aims to understand and analyze the influence of Beauty Influencers on the brand image of local products in the digital era. The research employs a quantitative approach using causality and survey methods, involving 100 respondents who are female consumers of the local brand Somethinc in Bandung City. The data was collected as primary data. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression, correlation coefficient, and determination coefficient methods, utilizing SPSS software. The results of the study indicate that Beauty Influencers have a significant impact on brand image. These findings emphasize that Beauty Influencers can have a positive impact on the brand image of the local brand Somethinc. This means that as the role of Beauty Influencers increases, the brand image will also improve. Conversely, if the influence of Beauty Influencers decreases, the brand image will also decline. The contribution of Beauty Influencers to the brand image is recorded at 60.1%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the Inspectorate in increasing accountability for village financial management in Mandailing Natal Regency. Accountability in village financial management is essential to ensure that village funds are used transparently and effectively in accordance with village development goals. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach, involving in-depth interviews, observations, and analysis of related documents. The results of the study show that the Mandailing Natal Regency Inspectorate has a significant role in supervising village financial management, including through financial audits, providing recommendations for improvement, coaching to village officials, and continuous supervision. However, this study also found several inhibiting factors that affect the effectiveness of supervision, including limited human resources (HR), limited budgets, lack of coordination between the Inspectorate and the village government, and low understanding of accountability at the village level. To increase the effectiveness of supervision, improvements are needed in these aspects, including increasing human resource capacity, more adequate budget allocation, and more intensive coaching at the village level. This study provides recommendations to increase the role of the Inspectorate in supervising village financial management to achieve more transparent and accountable management.

Abstract

This study aims to identify key factors in the implementation of Geographic Information System (GIS) in public administration in Sibolangit Sub-district Office, Deli Serdang Regency. GIS plays an important role in improving efficiency, transparency, and accuracy in the management of geographic data. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results show that GIS has improved time efficiency and data accuracy in public administration, but its effectiveness is still affected by several factors. The main obstacles found include unstable technological infrastructure, limited technical training for staff, and lack of policies that support the use of GIS in a structured manner. Technical, organizational, and human resource factors are the keys to the successful implementation of GIS. This study concludes that to maximize the effectiveness of GIS, it is necessary to make improvements to technological infrastructure, increase human resource capacity, and develop policies that support the implementation of GIS in public administration.
