Abstract

Accounting information is needed by earnings management to prepare company activity plans. Earnings management accounting information is very useful at the stage of analyzing the consequences of each alternative. Actions used in predicting investment decisions are based on accounting information. The research objective is to analyze the effectiveness of earnings management accounting information used to predict investment decisions in the banking sector. The data used is secondary data. The data analysis method used is descriptive statistical methods. The results of this research show that although there are differences in characteristics between earnings management and predicting investment decisions, this does not make a difference between earnings management and predicting investment decisions. The research results show that the higher the company practices earnings management, the higher the value of the company and banking sector companies in stock investment decisions, especially fundamental analysis information. Based on accounting information, management can make good stock investment decisions by analyzing fundamentals so that losses can be avoided.

Abstract

This study explores Sabana Fried Chicken, an Indonesian MSME specialising in halal fried chicken. Examining its inception in 2008, vision, mission, and SWOT analysis, the research highlights key factors contributing to its success: unique taste, high-quality ingredients, and effective customer service. Despite strengths, challenges include location limitations and supply dependence. Opportunities for expansion, menu diversification, and delivery services are identified, while threats stem from strong competitors, changing consumer preferences, regulations, and economic conditions. The marketing mix analysis reveals an affordable pricing strategy, strategic outlet locations, limited yet effective promotional activities, and a product focus on halal, delicious, and nutritious offerings. This case study offers insights for MSMEs navigating the dynamic landscape of the fast-food industry.

Abstract

This study delves into the marketing strategies of Coto Makassar Daeng Memang, a South Sulawesi restaurant, within Indonesia's evolving culinary landscape. Utilizing Marketing Mix and SWOT analysis, the research unveils the restaurant's evolution, identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Coto Makassar's success story, initiated in 1992, unfolds through a diverse menu. The Marketing Mix analysis underscores its affordable products, strategic location, and word-of-mouth promotion. The study concludes by highlighting the critical role of effective marketing for UMKM and the practical insights derived from Coto Makassar Daeng Memang's experience in navigating the competitive Indonesian culinary market.

Abstract

This study discusses the marketing strategies of Java Art Souvenir, an MSME in Jakarta Old Town known for its cultural heritage. The research employs a qualitative approach, focusing on the marketing mix (Product, Price, Place, Promotion) and SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) to understand the business dynamics. Java Art Souvenir, owned by Aldy Sanjaya, produces a variety of cultural souvenirs. The study highlights challenges in integrated marketing, particularly in coordinating communication channels. Recommendations include diversifying products, competitive pricing, leveraging the strategic location, and participating in cultural events. SWOT analysis reveals internal strengths in experienced HR and high-quality products, but weaknesses in digital presence and decreased business activity. Opportunities lie in online expansion and partnerships with local art institutions. Strategic recommendations involve creative product development, establishing partnerships, online visibility, and participation in digital marketing trends. In conclusion, addressing weaknesses and capitalizing on opportunities can enhance Java Art Souvenir's position in the dynamic Jakarta Old Town souvenir market.

Abstract

Kite is a traditional game that has been a popular game among children since time immemorial. Kites originated in China around 2500 years ago, this study has explained how the history of the Kite Museum, the contents of the Kite Museum and the condition of the Kite museum, this study uses qualitative methods, and the results of this study shows the number of Kite collections in this museum numbered 600, but the number continues to grow as the coming collections new from the local and foreign sailors and kites made by themselves by museum employees.

Abstract

This research was aimed at analyzing the intervention of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) on the influence of profitability on firm value. GCG was proxied by the audit committee, profitability was proxied by the Return on Assets (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE), while firm value was proxied by Tobin’s Q. The analysis will be carried out using path analysis with SmartPLS on 105 observations from 21 manufacturing companies in the consumer goods industry listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the 2017–2021 period. The results showed that ROA, ROE, and GCG have a significant positive effect on firm value. GCG has also been proven to be able to significantly intervene in the influence of profitability on firm value, with a positive relationship to ROA and a negative relationship to ROE.

Abstract

The COVID-19 virus has had a major effect on conditions in Indonesia, one of which is the effect that employee performance in every company changes in the work process. All agencies are implementing the work-from-home program to change work arrangements as one of the government's guidelines for preventing COVID-19. WFH is a type of work style with the concept of a remote work system, offices are only allowed to employ 25% of employees and 75% of employees who carry out Work from Home PT Mesitecmitra Purnabangun has established a WFH program by holding meetings, briefings, and joint activities through Zoom meetings but some work cannot be done at home, such as file integrity checks or service requests that need to be done in person. Of course, this sudden policy becomes a challenge for employees on changes in performance in the office, especially discipline, motivation and compensation of employees. This study aims to determine the effect of discipline, motivation, and compensation on employee performance at PT Mesitecmitra Purnabangun. Sampling technique by distributing questionnaires to employees of PT Mesitecmitra Purnabangun. The results of this study indicate that discipline does not influence performance, motivation and compensation influence performance.

It examines the conception of Industry 4.0, highlighting key technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), and big data analytics that have reshaped industrial processes. Moving forward, the paper explores the perception of Industry 4.0, shedding light on its impact on production efficiency, supply chain management, and overall business operations. It discusses the challenges faced during the adoption of Industry 4.0 and emphasizes the paradigm shift towards data-driven decision-making. As the industrial landscape evolves, the paper anticipates the advent of Industry 5.0, focusing on human-machine collaboration and a more holistic approach to manufacturing. It examines the conception of Industry 5.0, emphasizing the integration of human-centric values, creativity, and adaptability in the production processes. In the context of this industrial revolution, the paper also addresses the rethinking of employment loyalty. It analyzes the changing dynamics of the workforce, emphasizing the need for upskilling and adaptability in the face of automation and technological advancements. Abstract

Audit quality is measured based on audit report findings of violations in the client's accounting system. Financial reports are an important source of information for parties who need reports. Financial information is created by management to determine the company's financial condition, make decisions, and make it easier to manage the company. This research was conducted to determine the influence of auditor independence, accountability and auditor professionalism on audit quality. This research uses primary data in the form of respondents' answers to questionnaire data collection. This research used a simple random sampling method in determining the sample and there were 54 samples that met the criteria. This research uses multiple linear regression analysis and t test and R Square test for data analysis techniques. where the research results show that the variables of auditor independence, accountability and auditor professionalism simultaneously influence audit quality. Partially, auditor independence has a positive effect on audit quality, auditor accountability and auditor professionalism have a significant positive effect on audit quality
