Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of motivation of learning residents, boredom in participating in learning activities and the presence of learning residents who sometimes did not attend and were late for learning. The aim of this research is to determine tutor assistance in increasing students' motivation to study in evening class learning at PKBM Cerdik, Tasikmalaya City. The reason for conducting this research was because of the lack of motivation of residents to study package C in evening classes at PKBM Cerdik, Tasikmalaya City. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods with data collection techniques, namely interview, observation and documentation techniques. Meanwhile, data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation, data verification and drawing conclusions. The research results obtained in this study are tutor assistance in increasing student motivation in evening class learning, namely tutors provide convenience in learning activities such as more flexible teaching methods for students, adapted to learning needs, learning methods and media are made in videos. learning, Power points and modules, as well as computer facilities to facilitate residents in taking part in night class learning as well as support from the environment and surrounding community, there is an increase in the motivation of residents to learn such as being able to use computers well, participating in learning well even though some residents' learning has not improved . The conclusion is that after participating in learning activities, students can get a job or be able to adapt to a better job. Earn sufficient income, have self-actuality and live a better life.

Abstract

Reading is a path to success in life because by reading we can access all the knowledge that exists in this world. This activity aims to reactivate the previously activated reading corner, and increase literacy among the community in Cikeusi Village, District. Darmaraja District. Sumedang. In this research, the method used by researchers is descriptive qualitative research. Descriptive qualitative research aims to create a description or painting of the facts and characteristics of a particular population or area in a systematic, factual and thorough manner. Cikeusi Village has a reading corner but it is not utilized optimally. This is due to a lack of enthusiasm from village residents to read the books in the reading corner and also a lack of outreach from the village to village residents so that many village residents still have minimal knowledge, as well as the absence of a system applied to the operation of the reading corner, such as bookkeeping for borrowing books, sloppy organization and unkempt premises. The conclusions stated strengthen the urgency for active involvement of the Cikesi Village community in planning community education programs that have good and optimal results.

Abstract

The development of tourism destinations in Indonesia is a development that is intensively carried out by the central government and local governments. A characteristic of a tourist village has the concept of a form of integration between attractions, accommodation, and fulfillment of facilities in a community structure that is integrated with traditions and procedures that already apply. Determination of the place in the study that is using a purposive area, because the selection of the place is based on certain considerations. The technique of determining the informants in this study used snowball sampling. Data collection techniques using the method of observation, interviews and documentation. Techniques for checking the validity of the data used extended participation, persistence of observation, and triangulation. The triangulation used is technique triangulation and source triangulation. Data analysis using Miles and Huberman includes: data collection, data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The results of this study indicate that there is a community empowerment strategy carried out by residents around Jambu Village to improve the standard of living of the local community.

Abstract

Early mathematical ability is a basic ability possessed by children, the main problem in this study is the decline in early mathematical abilities of children aged 5-6 years in learning carried out from home with the play method at Umi Bina Mandiri PAUD caused by learning activities carried out from home. home so that children are less stimulated in early mathematical abilities. The purpose of this study was to obtain a description of information and data about children's activities, the role of teachers, and children's learning outcomes in early mathematics through the play from home method for children aged 5-6 years. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The data sources are the principal, 2 teachers and group B students. The results of the study (1) Children's activities in learning from home through the play method in developing early mathematical abilities seen from the implementation and responses show the success of teachers and parents in facilitating and assisting children in each lesson (2) The teacher's role in learning from home in planning, implementation, evaluation, support systems, and learning design, this can be seen from the teacher being able to make learning from home interesting and creative through the active play method. (3) The results of children's learning in developing early mathematical abilities through the play method during learning from home are seen from the results of observations of children who have developed as expected.

Abstract

This research aims to find out and describe how the handmade training program is managed at PKBM Rumpun Aksara. This research uses descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The research location was located at PKBM Rumpun Aksara Panti Jember using purposive area techniques. The technique for determining informants uses Purposive Sampling. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. The data validity checking techniques used are increased persistence, extended observations and triangulation in the form of source triangulation and technical triangulation. Data analysis uses Miles and Hubarman's theory by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and verifying data. The research results show that planning activities in handmade training at PKBM Rumpun Aksara are carried out in a structured and systematic manner, starting from identifying needs, to making learning lesson plans, as well as determining the methods and media carried out by the training instructor. The activities for implementing the handmade training program have been running according to the plans that have been determined. Meanwhile, evaluation activities for handmade training include holding meetings with instructors to discuss program implementation. Meanwhile, evaluation of learning residents involves assessing the process, results, level of interest of learning residents and the impact of handmade training on learning residents.

Abstract

Early The formation of children's character has an important role for the family, parentsshould be able to pay attention, guide and provide direction to children when theystart to grow up, which can be done by paying attention to the family's socializationfunction. In Rancabatu village there are still many parents who do not know the importance of the function of family socialization so that many parents are still indifferent to the formation of children's character, even though this function helps pay attention to the formation of children's character in this millennial era. The aimof this research is to determine the implementation of the family socialization function in shaping children's character in the millennial era. The method in this research uses descriptive qualitative methods, data collected is through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis begins with collecting data, reducing data, then presenting the data and then drawing conclusions. The research results obtained due to a lack of understanding regarding the importanceof the family socialization function make parents pay less attention to the formationof their children's character, each parent has their own way of forming their child'scharacter without paying attention to the socialization function. The condition of parents also influences the formation of children's character because there are parents who are indifferent and there are also those who are understanding. Thereare parents who try to be close to their children, there are also those who are just normal. Parental closeness has a significant impact on the child's growth and development. Family harmony and well-being are also influenced by the love and attention given to each child. In the millennial era, children's high work enthusiasmcan also help them make friends and develop.

Abstract

According to existing literature, familial support has been shown to be a significant predictor of students’ success or failure in school. In this paper, we investigate family-related factors that contribute to minority students dropping out. A qualitative research approach was employed in this study, which involved 11 Hmong studentleavers as key interviewees. Participants were asked about their university education experiences and why they discontinued their studies. The data obtained from interviews were analyzed through qualitative content analysis. As the findings of the study indicate, four family-related factors were most prevalent in causing minority students to withdraw from their studies: family economic situation, parental attitudes, marriage/early parenthood, and home life situations. Future research in this area is strongly recommended.

Abstract

Understanding zakat in Islam is very important for everyone, especiallywomen. Where women have a vital role in the family, both as companionsto their husbands and also as educators for their future children. Literacyand a good understanding of zakat is one factormuzakkiin making thedecision to pay zakat, whether zakat fitrah or zakat maal. Apart from that,understanding zakat is also a symbol of empowerment because zakat is adistribution of assets that can create prosperity and overcome poverty.Determining the location in this research uses techniquespurposive areanamely at the NU Fatayat Organization at the Jember Regency BranchLevel. The technique for determining informants in this research usestechniquespurposive sampling, then techniques for obtaining data frominformants use techniquessnowball sampling. Data collection techniqueswere carried out using observation, interviews and documentationtechniques. Data validity checking techniques use extended participation,increased persistence, and triangulation. Data analysis was carried out byprior analysis in the field and analysis in the field. The research resultsillustrate that Fatayat women have understood the concept of zakat ingeneral from their own perspective in terms of aspectsmuzakki,mustahiqand institutional aspects. However, it is still felt that theunderstanding of zakat maal needs to be further disseminated to thecommunity. The Fatayat NU organization plays a role in providing access,awareness and participation regarding zakat to women. With theexistence of economic, social and da'wah structures, there is greatpotential if education and understanding of zakat is used as anempowerment program. So that in the end it can create a zakat literatesociety.
