Abstract

This research discusses career women and fulfilling their family's livelihood in the Bugis community in Ganra District, Soppeng Regency through social fiqhi analysis. This is based on the dynamics of life development, namely the involvement of women in the world of work with the nickname of career women to participate in providing for the family. The main problems are: 1) What are the factors that encourage women in Bugis community families in Ganra District to become career women? 2) What is the social fiqhi analysis of career women in fulfilling their family's livelihood in the Bugis community in Ganra District?. The author conducted research using a descriptive qualitative method approach; the data sources in this research are housewives who work as honorary workers, ulama, the Head of Ganra District, and the community in Ganra District (primary data) and documents on the condition of the population in Ganra District (secondary data); The research instrument is the researcher himself and is assisted through data collection tools, namely observation sheets, interview guides, digital cameras and tape recorders; data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation; and testing the validity of research data, namely credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The main problem solving process in this research uses grand theory, namely the theory of social jurisprudence and the theory of the role of women. The results of this research show that 1) The involvement of women from Bugis community families in Ganra District in the world of work is influenced by various factors, namely: economic factors, lack of husband's income to meet all household needs. Educational factor, a form of women's self-actualization regarding the education they have received. Technological developments, availability of jobs that suit your skills. Financial independence, reducing dependence on husband. 2) In Bugis families, women who are married and want to work outside the home must first obtain permission from their husbands. This is in line with the principles of social fiqhi, namely legal contextualization, maslahah, dynamic/adaptive, social role in law, and social justice which shows that men and women have the same opportunities to improve their abilities in the world of work. Women who have received permission to work outside the home are obliged to maintain a balance between their rights and obligations as housewives and career women. However, in the position of fulfilling family support, the obligation is the man's duty as a husband. Meanwhile, women's work is seen as a form of financial support for themselves and their families.

Abstract

The curriculum is the heart of the education system which has a function as a frame of reference in organizing the learning process. In essence, a curriculum is not just a written document containing a list of subjects, but a comprehensive design that includes the entire learning experience planned and guided by an educational institution. The curriculum is dynamic because it is easily adapted to circumstances and adaptive to the development of the times, reflecting the philosophical, sociological, psychological, and pedagogical values embraced in the education system of a country. As a tool to achieve educational goals, the curriculum contains four main interrelated components: objectives, material or content, learning strategies or methods, and evaluation. The objectives of the curriculum are derived from the objectives of national education which reflect the aspirations of the community. Curriculum materials are selected and designed to achieve these goals. Learning strategies determine the approaches, methods, and techniques used in implementing the curriculum. As for evaluation, it serves to measure the success rate of achieving goals and provide feedback for curriculum improvement. In terms of implementation, the curriculum has three forms: the written curriculum (intended curriculum), the implemented curriculum (implemented curriculum), and the experienced curriculum (experienced curriculum). The gap between these three forms of curriculum is often a challenge in achieving educational effectiveness. Therefore, curriculum development needs to be carried out systematically, scientifically, and involving various stakeholders to ensure the relevance, sustainability, and significance of the curriculum in facilitating the optimal development of students' potential.

Abstract

This research discusses heat transfer analysis in vehicle engine cooling systems, especially in radiators that use fin variations. The main objective is to compare the performance of several fin designs, including straight, zigzag, corrugated, and louvered, in terms of heat transfer efficiency and pressure loss. The research method adopted was a comparative study through secondary data collection from previous experimental results and numerical simulation (CFD). Quantitative descriptive analysis was used to compare key parameters such as inlet-outlet temperature difference (?T), heat transfer rate, and pressure drop. The study results show that the louvered and corrugated designs have the highest heat transfer rates, especially at medium to high air and fluid flow velocities. However, the improved thermal performance is accompanied by increased pressure loss, which requires adjustments to the fan and cooling pump capacity. The zigzag design offers a good compromise between cooling efficiency and increased mechanical load, while the straight fin tends to produce the lowest cooling efficiency, but with the lowest pressure loss. The practical implication of this study is the importance of considering the balance between increased cooling efficiency and the operational power requirements of the cooling system. Proper fin design selection can improve engine temperature stability, reduce the risk of overheat, and extend the life of engine components. In addition, the development of high thermal conductivity radiator materials and the production of more precise fins also determine the performance and service life of the radiator. Thus, the results of this research are expected to serve as a reference for the automotive industry in selecting and designing optimal vehicle radiators
