Abstract

Vestibulitis is an inflammatory condition affecting the vestibular area, commonly referring to inflammation of the vulvar vestibule or the nasal vestibule, depending on the anatomical context. The condition is characterized by localized pain, erythema, tenderness, and discomfort, which may significantly affect a patient’s quality of life. Vulvar vestibulitis, often associated with vulvodynia, presents with pain during touch, sexual intercourse, or tampon insertion, while nasal vestibulitis is commonly caused by bacterial infection, particularly Staphylococcus aureus, and manifests as pain, crusting, and erythema around the nasal opening. The diagnosis of vestibulitis is primarily clinical, supported by patient history and physical examination. Management depends on the underlying cause and severity of symptoms and may include topical or systemic antibiotics, anti-inflammatory agents, local anesthetics, and supportive measures. Early diagnosis and appropriate treatment are essential to relieve symptoms, prevent complications, and improve patient outcomes.

Abstract

Spinal cord injury (SCI) is a neurological emergency caused by mechanical trauma to the spinal cord, resulting in impaired sensory, motor, and autonomic functions below the level of the lesion. This condition commonly occurs due to blunt trauma, motor vehicle accidents, falls from height, or penetrating injuries. The pathophysiology of SCI involves a primary injury, such as contusion or compression of the spinal cord, followed by secondary injury processes leading to progressive edema, inflammation, and ischemia. Rapid and appropriate management is crucial to minimize permanent damage, including early stabilization, spinal immobilization, neurological assessment, and diagnostic imaging. Definitive treatment may include surgical decompression, spinal stabilization, management of complications, and long-term rehabilitation. SCI has a significant impact on patients’ quality of life and requires a multidisciplinary approach to achieve optimal functional outcomes.

Abstract

Severe preeclampsia is a hypertensive disorder of pregnancy characterized by elevated blood pressure and signs of end-organ damage occurring after 20 weeks of gestation. This condition remains a major cause of maternal and perinatal morbidity and mortality worldwide. Severe preeclampsia may present with systolic blood pressure ≥160 mmHg or diastolic blood pressure ≥110 mmHg, accompanied by proteinuria or other manifestations such as thrombocytopenia, impaired liver function, renal insufficiency, pulmonary edema, and neurological disturbances. The pathophysiology involves abnormal placentation, endothelial dysfunction, and systemic inflammatory responses. Management of severe preeclampsia requires prompt diagnosis, close maternal and fetal monitoring, blood pressure control, seizure prophylaxis with magnesium sulfate, and timely delivery as definitive treatment. Early recognition and appropriate management are essential to reduce complications and improve maternal and neonatal outcomes.

Abstract

Malnutrition is a common and significant health problem among the geriatric population and is associated with increased morbidity, mortality, functional decline, and reduced quality of life. Aging-related physiological changes, chronic diseases, polypharmacy, cognitive impairment, depression, and socioeconomic factors contribute to the high prevalence of malnutrition in elderly individuals. Malnutrition in geriatric patients often remains underdiagnosed due to atypical clinical presentations and overlapping symptoms with chronic illnesses. Comprehensive nutritional assessment using validated screening tools is essential for early detection and appropriate management. Management strategies include individualized nutritional interventions, dietary modification, oral nutritional supplementation, and treatment of underlying medical conditions. A multidisciplinary approach involving physicians, nutritionists, nurses, and caregivers plays a crucial role in optimizing nutritional status and improving clinical outcomes in the elderly. Early identification and proper management of malnutrition are essential to prevent complications and enhance functional capacity and overall well-being in geriatric patients.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of Resiliency 4.0 in enhancing the global competitiveness of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Lampung Province, Indonesia, focusing on local-based products such as coffee, processed fruits, and fisheries. Drawing upon the theoretical foundation of dynamic capabilities, organizational adaptation, and cyber-physical resilience, this research develops and tests a structural model linking Digital Capability (DC), Organizational Adaptation Capability (OAC), Cyber Resilience (CR), and Resiliency 4.0 (R40). Using a Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) approach, the findings demonstrate that DC and OAC significantly contribute to R40 both directly and indirectly through CR. Among the predictors, CR emerges as the strongest determinant, highlighting the pivotal role of digital asset protection, incident detection, and recovery planning in ensuring organizational resilience. The model explains 58% of the variance in R40 with acceptable predictive relevance, suggesting that Resiliency 4.0 offers a robust framework for SME survival and growth in the digital era. The study underscores the importance of integrating digital investment, adaptive culture, and cybersecurity readiness for SMEs in Lampung to achieve sustainable internationalization. Policy implications include strengthening digital infrastructure, promoting cybersecurity literacy, and fostering cooperative digital ecosystems.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the competitiveness of flower board businesses in North Siantar District through consumer preference analysis and the application of digital marketing. Consumer preference data is analyzed to identify the product characteristics that most influence purchasing decisions, which are then used as the basis for developing marketing strategies and product variations. A digital marketing training program is provided to partners to improve their promotional capabilities through digital media and expand their market reach. The results of the implementation show an increase in the number of orders and partner income of 40%–50% per week. In addition, the development of three product packages, namely standard, premium, and deluxe packages, as well as the application of a deluxe package promo with a free standard package, proved to be effective in increasing consumer interest. These results show that the integration of consumer preference analysis and digital marketing can strengthen the competitiveness of flower board businesses in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

Digital transformation and the implementation of hybrid work models have brought significant changes to Human Resource Management (HRM) practices. This article aims to analyze the impact of digital transformation and hybrid work on HRM functions, particularly in recruitment, employee development, performance management, and the strategic role of HRM within organizations. This study employs a literature review method by examining national and international academic journals published within the last five years (2021–2025). The findings indicate that digital transformation and hybrid work can enhance operational efficiency, work flexibility, employee satisfaction, and organizational performance when supported by adaptive and data-driven HRM policies. Nevertheless, these practices also present challenges related to employee engagement, organizational culture, and performance evaluation systems. Therefore, HRM is required to assume a more strategic role in managing change to ensure sustainable organizational success.

Abstract

Effective and well-organized village administrative services are essential for supporting good governance. However, many villages in Indonesia still rely on manual and unstructured archiving systems that are inefficient and prone to document loss. This condition was also found in Matara Village, Merauke Regency. This community service program aims to improve the efficiency of administrative services through the implementation of a digital archiving information system based on Microsoft Excel Macro as an appropriate technology solution. The method employed a participatory qualitative approach involving observation, interviews, system development, training, mentoring, and evaluation. The results indicate that the digital archiving system significantly accelerates document retrieval, improves administrative orderliness, and enhances the capacity of village officials to utilize simple information technology. The system operates offline, is easy to use, and is well suited to the village’s limited infrastructure conditions. This program demonstrates that context-based and simple technological innovations can generate tangible and sustainable impacts on improving administrative service quality and strengthening village governance.
