Abstract

Amidst the growth of coffee shops, this poses a challenge for coffee shop entrepreneurs themselves. It is not uncommon for many baristas to move from one coffee shop to another, leaving their old coffee shop for a new one due to higher pay, a more comfortable work environment, or other reasons. However, when a barista moves from an old coffee shop to a new one, it does not mean that they can use the trade secrets of the coffee shop they left to benefit the new coffee shop where they now work. The research question in this study is: How is legal protection for trade secrets based on Law Number 30 of 2000 implemented in coffee shops? What are the challenges and efforts made regarding legal protection for trade secrets based on Law Number 30 of 2000 in coffee shops? The objectives of this study are to explain the legal protection of trade secrets under Law No. 30 of 2000 in coffee shops and to explain the obstacles and efforts made regarding the legal protection of trade secrets under Law No. 30 of 2000 in coffee shops. The type of research is normative legal research. Furthermore, the data was collected using qualitative analysis. The results of this study show that if the barista misuses trade secrets by disclosing confidential information to third parties, such as coffee bean ingredients, recipes, compositions, and methods of making coffee drinks, which are done intentionally without the knowledge of the coffee shop owner while still working at the coffee shop.

Abstract

Nursing care documentation based on the Indonesian Nursing Diagnosis Standards (SDKI), Indonesian Nursing Outcome Standards (SLKI), and Indonesian Nursing Intervention Standards (SIKI) plays a crucial role in ensuring quality and patient safety. This study aimed to examine the relationship between nurses’ knowledge of SDKI, SLKI, and SIKI and the implementation of nursing care documentation at Benyamin Guluh Kolaka Hospital. A descriptive analytic design with a cross-sectional approach was employed. A total of 53 nurses were selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through a knowledge questionnaire and a nursing care documentation questionnaire. Data analysis consisted of univariate and bivariate analyses using Spearman’s Rho test. The results indicated that most nurses had good levels of knowledge and nursing documentation performance. However, statistical analysis revealed no significant relationship between nurses’ knowledge and nursing care documentation (p = 0.503; r = −0.094). This study concludes that nursing documentation quality is not solely determined by knowledge but is also influenced by other factors in nursing practice.

Abstract

The rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) presents new challenges to the Indonesian legal system, particularly in relation to copyright protection. On the one hand, AI is capable of producing creative works that resemble human creations; on the other hand, its existence raises fundamental questions regarding the legal status of such works and the applicable copyright protection. This condition demonstrates the urgency of comprehensive regulation to ensure a balance between technological innovation and legal protection. The purpose of this study is to analyze the urgency of establishing specific regulations on AI to address potential copyright infringements in Indonesia. The research employs a normative juridical method, using statutory, conceptual, and comparative approaches. Data sources are obtained through library research on national laws and regulations, international legal instruments, and relevant academic literature. The results of the study indicate that existing regulations in Indonesia, such as the Copyright Law and the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (ITE Law), still contain vague norms and have not explicitly accommodated the phenomenon of AI-based works. A comparison with regulations in the European Union through the AI Act highlights the importance of a clear legal framework concerning liability, protection of creative works, and supervisory mechanisms for the use of AI. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that specific regulation on AI in Indonesia is an urgent necessity. Such regulation must be designed to provide legal certainty regarding AI-based works while still ensuring fairness for all segments of society.

Abstract

Digital transformation has driven significant changes in the financial and entrepreneurial sectors, making digital financial literacy and the effective utilization of technology fundamental needs for the younger generation. This community service activity aims to strengthen digital financial literacy through the use of financial technology (fintech) and develop marketplace-based entrepreneurship as an effort to empower members of the Mataram City Muhammadiyah Student Association (IMM). The activity employed a participatory action research approach, which was implemented through the stages of needs analysis, training, mentoring, business implementation, and monitoring and evaluation. The activity involved 120 IMM members with interests in and startups related to the creative economy. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' digital financial literacy scores of more than 30 percent, an increase in the use of digital financial recording applications in their businesses, and a rise in the number of active online stores on national marketplaces. Furthermore, the establishment of the Mataram City IMM collective marketplace is a strategic outcome that supports the institutional sustainability of the members' businesses. This activity demonstrates that integrating digital financial literacy, fintech adoption, and marketplace-based entrepreneurship is effective in increasing the economic capacity of members and building sustainable economic independence. This community service program is expected to become a practical and replicable empowerment model for student organizations and other youth communities in navigating the dynamics of the digital economy

Abstract

The balance of the gut microbiota during pregnancy is essential for maintaining maternal health and supporting optimal fetal development. Fermented goat’s milk contains naturally occurring probiotics that contribute to microbiota homeostasis and improved maternal nutritional status. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of fermented goat’s milk consumption on newborn anthropometric outcomes. Two group pretest posttest control was applied involving 15 third-trimester pregnant women who met the inclusion criteria. Participants consumed 75 mL of fermented goat’s milk daily for a period of 9–12 weeks. Maternal characteristics and neonatal anthropometric parameters were collected through structured observations and questionnaires. Data were analyzed using paired statistical tests. The findings demonstrated statistically significant improvements (p < 0.05) in neonatal birth weight, body length, and head circumference following the intervention. These results indicate that fermented goat’s milk may positively influence fetal growth without inducing gut microbiota dysbiosis. Further studies employing controlled designs and larger sample sizes are warranted to confirm these findings and elucidate the underlying mechanisms.

Abstract

Nutritional problems remain a major challenge in community health development, particularly in rural areas. The Indonesian government has introduced the “Isi Piringku” concept as a visual guideline for balanced nutrition; however, its implementation requires more innovative educational approaches. This community service activity aimed to improve knowledge and awareness of balanced nutrition through technology-based “Isi Piringku” education as an effort to prevent nutritional problems in Nagari Padang Gantiang. The community service program was conducted in Nagari Padang Gantiang, Sangir Jujuan District, South Solok Regency, over a 21-day period. Participants included housewives, posyandu cadres, elementary school teachers, and village officials. Educational methods involved technology-based counseling using educational videos, interactive discussions, and question-and-answer sessions. The program resulted in improved participants’ understanding of the “Isi Piringku” concept, particularly the application of the 3J principles (timing, quantity, and type of food) in complementary feeding practices. Educational videos effectively facilitated comprehension of balanced nutrition messages. In addition, the activity fostered community commitment to developing a nutrition-aware village program through the establishment of a healthy garden to support complementary feeding practices. Technology-based “Isi Piringku” education is effective in enhancing community nutrition knowledge and awareness. The integration of digital media and participatory community activities can support stunting prevention efforts and promote the development of a healthy and nutrition-conscious village

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the meaning of religion within the social structure of Papuan indigenous communities. In this context, religion is not merely understood as a system of spiritual belief, but also as a social force that shapes values, norms, leadership, and social relations. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with indigenous leaders and religious figures, participatory observation of religious and customary activities, and document analysis. Data analysis was conducted using thematic analysis, and data validity was ensured through source and method triangulation. The findings indicate that religion plays a significant role in strengthening social solidarity, legitimizing customary leadership, and serving as a means of social conflict resolution. Furthermore, religion is integrated with local wisdom and contributes to the preservation of cultural sustainability within Papuan indigenous communities. This study affirms that the integration of religion and customary practices forms a distinctive, dynamic, and adaptive social structure in Papuan indigenous society.
