Abstract

Myasthenia gravis is a nerve-attacking disease that can cause survivors to fear of what they are facing. This disease can be said to be quite rare and it is not uncommon for survivors to die, this can trigger the loss of the survivors' zest for life. The purpose of this research is to analyze the role of the family plays in maintaining the esprit of myasthenia gravis survivors. This study uses Viktor Frankl's logotherapy theory and semantic theory. In this study, the method that used is a qualitative research method with a case study approach.. The results of this study appearence that the family has an important role in maintaining the survivors' zest for life. Several cases that have occurred Survivors can feel better if the role of the family is carried out well, this can be seen from the changes felt by survivors. Those who initially felt a lack of enthusiasm for life until they finally felt the enthusiasm to return to live life as usual, even to be able to make peace and live side by side with the illness they felt. Abstract

The media is a means of mediation that has an important role in influencing many people, therefore media bias can occur. Indeed, the media is in between social reality with all its conflicts, interests, and diverse facts. The existence of bias in the media cannot be separated from its ideology. Framing analysis is a text analysis method used to dissect the ways or ideology of the media when constructing a fact. This research aims to analyze the framing that occurs on two news portals, namely Jawa Pos and Tribun Pekanbaru, towards the invasion case that occurred between Russia and Ukraine. Both media have different biases by showing the delivery of vocabulary, quotes, and sentences that can be constructed with different facts. This descriptive qualitative research uses the framing analysis model of Zhongdan Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki. The differences in the news raised by Jawa Pos and Tribun Pekanbaru are visible in the sources, quotes, and sentences used so as to produce different constructions. Jawa Pos has its own characteristics in informing news related to the heating up of Russian and Ukrainian news, whereas Jawa Pos seems to display the strengths and support of the Ukrainian state. In contrast to Jawa Pos, Tribun Pekanbaru displays information related to the strength and defense possessed by Russia. Keywords: Media, Framing, Ideology, Invasion.

Abstract

Crowdfunding has now entered the world of marketing. The presence of a different crowdfunding concept through the ikoy-ikoyan game is a new thing in the realm of social media. Crowdfunding activities utilize Instagram social media by uploading campaigns in the form of videos and images on Instagram accounts. This study aims to find out the social media marketing strategy that has been carried out by Arief Muhammad in the @ikoy2an account. Using qualitative research methods and virtual ethnographic approaches. Researchers found that the ikoy-ikoyan trend has succeeded in shifting the giveaway trend that has developed in the last year. The ikoy-ikoyan trend has proven effective in increasing charity awareness, strengthening brand, customer engagement, and increasing the number of followers on Instagram accounts. Abstract

The media is not a free channel but has constructed the news in such a way. Some events are reported, some are not reported, some aspects are highlighted and some aspects are omitted, all of this leads to a concept called framing. This is related to the idea of Karim, et al. (2021) that efforts to instill character values can be one way to foster love for others. This study aims to see how Kumparan.com and Tribunnews.com framed the news of the Ferdy Sambo murder case at the official residence of Police officials in the Duren Tiga area, South Jakarta on July 11, 9, 10 August 2022. The results of this study are expected to be able to provide awareness to the public to love each other between human beings. Abstract

The presence of the Covid 19 pandemic and government policies have had a major impact on the industrial and business world, one of which is in the tourism sector. Tourism is one of the sectors affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. This research is based on the decrease in the number of tourist visits to the Jambu Tourism Village due to the Covid-19 pandemic until now where the number of tourist visits has begun to increase. The purpose of this research is to find out the marketing communication strategies carried out by the management of the Jambu Tourism Village to increase the number of tourist visits after the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. This study uses the theory of AISAS analysis. Based on the research conducted, the management of the Jambu Tourism Village conducted Social Media Marketing (SMM), in collaboration with the Kediri Regency Tourism Office, and utilized point Search and Share on AISAS Theory which was also supported by the power of word of mouth.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the hustle culture phenomenon which is now starting to spread among university students. In this study, researchers tried to discuss the hustle culture phenomenon from a student's point of view. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The theory used in this study is the theory of phenomenology according to Alfred Schutz and the theory of self presentation. The purpose of this research is to find out how communication experience is, what are the meanings and motives of Communication students at Singaperbangsa Karawang University to experience a hustle culture by participating in various activities outside of their lecture activities such as being active in campus organizations, activities and/or work while studying. The results of the study stated that there were differences in communication experiences, meanings and motives that were known from informants, including the communication experiences experienced, namely: positive communication experiences, experienced by informants while undergoing a hustle culture, communication experiences before and after undergoing a hustle culture, reduced communication experience during breaks and interactions with friends and family, decreased health communication experience at certain moments when living in a hustle culture and known motives, namely because motives is social motives is productivity motives, self-confidence motives and objective motives (in-Order Motive), among others motives improvement in soft skills, networking and financial motives as well as a hustle culture which is interpreted by learning and practicing knowledge, maximizing one's time and potential, getting to know the world of work, feeling joy and proud. Abstract

Megawati Soekarnoputri is the 5th former president of Indonesia and currently serves as chairman of the PDIP party. As an influential politician in Indonesia, all his actions and words can influence public opinion. At the online webinar entitled "Prevent Stunting for Golden Generation", Megawati alluded to the condition of the people who are facing the problem of scarcity of cooking oil. He responded to this problem by assuming that the community's reaction was excessive regarding the problem of scarcity of cooking oil. As a result of her response, Megawati received various criticisms from the public through various media. This research will focus on Megawati's response with the aim of knowing linguistic elements, the process of text production and consumption, as well as the socio-cultural conditions of society. This qualitative research uses the critical discourse analysis model of Norman Fairclough which divides the analysis into three dimensions, namely text analysis, discourse practice analysis and sociocultural analysis. The research results show that there are several cohesions and coherences that shape discourse and diction which indicate the communicator's view of the audience, the process of text production and consumption goes according to the topic being discussed but there are statements that make some groups feel unacceptable and the way of delivery is not wearing it, and social and cultural background that influences the formation of discourse and the response it receives because the discourse has something to do with sociocultural situations. Abstract

Instagram is one of the internet-based social interaction platforms that is widely used by the public to share information, including information about tourism. The purpose of this study is to find out whether Instagram photo posts @pesonakuningan have a significant influence on the interest of visiting followers to Telaga Biru natural tourism. The independent variable used in this study was Instagram posts (X), while the dependent variable was the interest of visiting followers in visiting Telaga Biru natural attractions. This study adopts the theory of uses and effect as the main theoretical framework, and uses quantitative research methods by using questionnaires as data collection instruments. The analysis used in this study is a simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that photo posts on Instagram @pesonakuningan have a significant effect on the kinat of visiting followers to Telaga Biru natural attractions. Abstract

There are many things that cause a crisis, one of which is due to product damage. An interesting crisis for product damage is the crisis that occurred at the Non-TPI Karawang Class I Immigration Office in the case of the e-Government Application belonging to the Directorate General of Immigration, namely the M-Paspor Application. The application that was expected to facilitate the passport registration process turned out to cause complaints, especially people who applied for passports. The complaint is caused by the M-Paspor Application which often experiences problems in it. The purpose of this study is to find out at what level the attribution of responsibility to the M-Passport Application crisis that occurred at the Immigration Office Class I Non TPI Karawang seen through Situational Crisis Communication Theory. This theory states that the public has certain attributions regarding the crisis because those attributions will determine the reputation of the institution. Attribution is a public perception of a crisis. In every crisis, of course, it has the potential to threaten the reputation of the institution. The smaller the agency's responsibility for the crisis, the smaller the threat to its reputation, and vice versa. To determine who is responsible for the crisis that occurred, basically grouped into three crisis groups or commonly referred to as crisis clusters. Abstract

One of the sectors that had stopped due to the Covid-19 pandemic was the wedding organizer service sector. Nikahmu Wedding Organizers are starting to rebuild their name by developing a post-Covid-19 social media marketing strategy through their Instagram account @nikahmuweddingorganizer. This research was conducted with the aim of finding out how the social media strategy carried out by Nikahmu Wedding Organizer through Instagram after being hit by the Covid-19 pandemic used a qualitative descriptive method. Researchers use descriptive qualitative because the method is intended and can be used to gain an understanding of the meaning of human problems and social phenomena. Nikahmu Wedding Organizer uses Instagram as a platform for social media marketing through the account @nikahmuweddingorganizer. The Instagram account @nikahmuweddingorganizer utilizes Instagram's features for marketing and increasing brand awareness. The features used include feeds, reels, highlights, and stories. Nikahmu Wedding Organizer in its Instagram also implements four of the five promotional mixes, namely advertising through Instagram Ads, uploading sales promotions, conducting public relations and publication activities, and direct marketing through Instagram. Nikahmu Wedding Organizer does not make personal sales through its Instagram account because it is considered less effective if it is done online.
