Abstract

Spektrofotometri UV Vis merupakan suatu instrumen yang diterapkan dalam analisis kadar senyawa berdasarkan absorbansinyaTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kadar vitamin C ada sampel minuman suplemen merk UC 1000 varian lemon. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Desember 2023. Sampel UC 1000 yang digunakan didapatkan dari Minimarket di wilayah Kabupaten Sukoharjo. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian dimulai dari pembuatan Larutan Baku Induk Vitamin C sebagai pembanding dilanjutkan dengan Penentuan Panjang Gelombang Maksimum Larutan Vitamin C kemudian Pembuatan Kurva Kalibrasi dengan konsentrasi Larutan 4 ppm;6 ppm;8 ppm; 10 ppm; 12 ppm, dan yang terakhir dilakukan pengujian sampel UC 100P dengan Suhu Ruang. Hasil penelitian didapatkan kadar vitamin C pada sampel ini yaitu sebesar 1.574%

Abstract

Meaningful learning in chemistry needs to consider the character of chemical content and students. Problem-based learning (PBL) provides a learning environment that is related to daily life and can support the achievement of meaningful learning for students in chemistry. This research was a best practice research that was implemented in the class XI SMA Negeri 1 Dewantara with a total of 32 students. This research aims to improve students' literacy skills through the application of the PBL’s model. Data collection was carried out using pretest and posttest to determine students' literacy abilities. From the research results, it was found that there was an increase in scores of 76.6%, where the average pretest score was 49.7, increasing to an average posttest score of 87.8. This shows that the application of PBL has a better influence on students' literacy skills compared to previous learning.

Abstract

This research focuses on analyzing research trends regarding students' scientific literacy in chemistry material. This research contains an analytical study of the number of articles published on chemistry education with research in Indonesia in 2018-2023. The study was conducted on 16 journal articles. The analysis step begins with reading the abstract and data reduction and drawing data conclusions based on the research instruments used. Research topics include chemical material analysis, number of publications, research subjects, and research method trends. Among these publications, the most dominant research designs are quantitative and R&D research. Based on these findings, several recommendations were found for further research to enrich knowledge and provide useful results. The recommended type of research is quantitative research and R&D methods to analyze scientific literacy. In connection with the findings of this research, recommendations for future research are to base the topic of scientific literacy as the main focus by choosing more appropriate research methods.

Abstract

This research aimed at finding out the effectiveness of using Android based Adobe Animate learning media on Reaction Rate lesson toward student self-efficacy at State Senior High School 3 Pekanbaru. It was pre experiment research with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. All the eleventh-grade students of MIPA at State Senior High School 3 Pekanbaru in the Academic Year of 2022/2023 were the population of this research. There was one group of samples—the eleventh-grade students of MIPA 2 as the research sample group. The data collection techniques used were questionnaires and interviews. The data were analyzed by using t-test and N-gain test. Based on the calculation result, the score of tobserved (6.670) was higher than ttable (2.032), and the significance score 0.00 was lower than α (0.05). Therefore, H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. Based on N-gain test, the research sample group was on low category with the respective score 0.23. It could be concluded that the use of Android based Adobe Animate learning media was not effective toward student self-efficacy on Reaction Rate lesson. The updates to Android based Adobe Animate learning media such as application buttons, completeness of material, and sample questions were needed to get better student self-efficacy.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the large use of textbooks as teaching materials, where teachers rely on textbooks without utilizing teaching materials to support the success of the teaching and learning process. This study aims to determine the need, feasibility, practicality, and attractiveness of STEAM-based worksheets on the developed buffer solution material. This research is development research, the method used in this research is the Research and Development (R & D) method with the ADDIE model, analysis, desaigh, development, implementation, and evaluation. However, the implementation and evaluation stages were not carried out. The research instrument used was a questionnaire consisting of needs analysis sheets, material and media feasibility, practicality and attractiveness. The feasibility of the media and material was validated by validators, namely 2 chemistry education lecturers at Samudra University, practicality was assessed by 5 chemistry teachers at SMAN 2, 4, and 5 Langsa, and attractiveness was assessed by 30 students at SMAN 2, 4, and 5. Feasibility validity data were analyzed using the Aiken's V formula, while teacher and student responses were analyzed using a Likert scale. The results of the study showed that chemistry teachers needed STEAM-based worksheets on buffer solution material. The STEAM-based LKPD Feasibility Questionnaire developed obtained an average percentage of Aiken's V of 0.76% with a valid category. Teacher response questionnaires on STEAM-based LKPD are in very practical criteria with an average score of 92.5% and student response questionnaires get an average score of 97%. So it can be concluded that the STEAM-based LKPD developed is suitable for use in learning.

Penggunaan quizizz paper mode sebagai media asesmen formatif dalam pembelajaran kimia merupakan alat evaluasi dalam pembelajaran berbasis platform digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kebutuhan, kelayakan, kepraktisan serta kemenarikan asesmen formatif yang dikembangkan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (R&D) dengan model ADDIE. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru kimia dan siswa kelas XI SMA. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini mencakup beberapa yaitu observasi, wawancara, validasi ahli serta angket. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan, quizizz paper mode sebagai media asesmen formatif ini sangat dibutuhkan dengan persentase 90%. Kelayakan quizizz paper mode sebagai media asesmen formatif dinyatakan layak untuk digunakan. Kepraktisan quizizz paper mode sebagai media asesmen formatif dinyatakan sangat praktis dengan nilai 95%. Serta kemenarikan quizizz paper mode sebagai media asesmen formatif dinyatakan sangat menarik dengan persentase 87%. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut maka disimpulkan bahwa quizizz paper mode sebagai media asesmen formatif yang telah dikembangkan sangat layak untuk digunakan sebagai evaluasi dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan platform Bamboozle dalam Model Pembelajaran Team Games Tournament yang diterapkan pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Pandeglang Tahun Pelajaran 2024-2025 pada pembelajaran kimia. Subjek yang digunakan adalah siswa beserta guru kelas XI.6 SMA Negeri 1 Pandeglang dengan objek penelitian penerapan model pembelajaran TGT. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan penerapan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian menggunakan dua sumber data: Angket respon siswa (informan) dan dokumentasi pendukung. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh data yang menunjukkan distribusi respon siswa relatif signifikan, dimana 80% siswa menilai "Sangat Baik" dan 20% siswa memberikan penilaian "Baik". Tidak ditemukannya respon dalam kategori "Cukup" dan "Kurang" (0%). Hal ini mencerminkan penggunaan platform Bamboozle dalam Model Pembelajaran TGT mampu meningkatkan minat motivasi belajar siswa dalam melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran terutama untuk mata pelajaran Kimia topik Termokimia. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the chemistry learning process at Unggul Cut Nyak Dhien High Schoolin Langsa city, with a focus on the techniques used by teachers and student involvement in theteaching and learning process. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive approach,which collects data through observation, interviews with teachers and students, and documentation.The research results show that although the use of PowerPoint as a medium for delivering material isquite helpful, the learning process tends to be one-way, with most students involved in limitedquestions and answers. More active students often dominate, while most others are passive. Apartfrom that, the lack of practical activities also limits students' understanding of more complex chemicalconcepts. This research suggests that learning methods should be updated with more experiments andopportunities for students to ask questions, to increase their engagement and understanding of thematerial being taught.
