Abstract

Environmental damage is an urgent global problem, with impacts that threaten the sustainability of our planet. This research aims to explore the teachings in the hadith related to the control of environmental damage risks. By integrating these teachings into modern environmental policies and practices, this research aims to contribute to developing a more sustainable and ethical approach to environmental management. The results of the study show that the teachings of Hadith can be a strong foundation for increasing environmental awareness, encouraging environmentally friendly behavior, and strengthening community involvement in environmental conservation efforts. As such, this research provides theoretical insights and offers practical guidance for facing the environmental challenges we face today.

Abstract

SMPN 19 Raja Ampat has a mission to instill Islamic character values in the school. This can be seen in the students' daily habits when the researcher visits the school. Thus, the researcher is interested in finding out more about the principal's leadership strategy in instilling Islamic character education in students at SMP Negeri 19 Raja Ampat Regency. Hopefully, these findings can be a good practice reference for schools or other stakeholders implementing Islamic characters among students. This type of research is qualitative research. The results of the research show that the principal's leadership strategy to instill Islamic character education at SMP Negeri 19 Raja Ampat Regency is to optimize the school's vision, mission, and goals, implement exemplary leadership attitudes, instill an attitude of tolerance, and improve the quality of teachers and staffs. The supporting factors are the support of students' parents, collaboration with teachers and staffs, and the existence of supporting facilities and infrastructure. The challenges faced are the influence of social media (information and communication technology), the availability of facilities that do not yet support it, and the awareness of students. The impact of the principal's leadership strategy to instill Islamic character education at SMP Negeri 19 Raja Ampat Regency is to foster harmony in the lives of the people religion in the school environment, increase discipline, and increase public trust.

Abstract

This study approach is qualitative. The study used a Phenomenology approach. The primary data source of this study was KH. Hafidzul Hakim Noer as the main informant and the ustad and administrators of the Islamic boarding school and the male and female students as additional informants. The secondary data sources of this study were the Islamic boarding school Work Program and the kaleidoscope documentation of the transformative journey of the Islamic boarding school. Data collection methods were observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis included data reduction, presentation, and verification, and drawing conclusions.The findings indicate that the Kiai’s transformative leadership in the Salaf Education system at the Nurul Qadim Islamic Boarding School in Probolinggo Regency 1) involves all components of the management. Kiai never forces administrators beyond the capabilities. Kiai invites everyone to fight for common goals based on the capabilities of each boarding school personnels. Kiai provides examples and directions based on a concept of 3 components. Ta`rif, Ta`lif and Taklif. 2) In the implementation of transformative leadership, the kiai becomes a charismatic figure and acts transformatively in preparing plans and determining all decisions for the success and sustainability of Education at the Islamic boarding school. This is also supported by adequate human resource synergy in innovating to advance the Islamic boarding school

Abstract

this study analyzes the Israiliyat narrations about Prophet David in QS. Shad (38:21-25), which recounts his encounter with two disputing individuals. It focuses on how Ibn Jarir al-Thabari and Abdurrazzaq al-Shan'ani use Israiliyat in their interpretations and examines the sources and validity of these narrations. this study Using a descriptive qualitative method with a literature study approach, this research relies on Tafsir al-Thabari, Tafsir Abdurrazzaq al-Shan'ani, and other relevant sources. The findings reveal differences in the sanad and interpretative structures, yet both Tafsir works share a common initial source from al-Hasan. The narration describes the verse as both a test for Prophet David and a reprimand, mentioning that he intended to marry the wife of his subordinate. To evaluate the authenticity of these narrations, this study refers to the perspectives of classical and contemporary Tafsir scholars.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the Hadith about the prohibition of blocking merchandise in the road. The type of research used is library research, using descriptive-analytical methods, with a sanad and matn criticism approach. The results showed that the Hadith on the prohibition of blocking merchandise in the middle of the road from the route of Abu Daud in terms of sanad is considered muttasil or sahih. Meanwhile, in terms of the matn, there is a missing editorial or illat in it. However, it does not damage the text of the Hadith because similar traditions from different sanad lines support it. This Hadīth indicates that brokers should avoid monopolizing and cheating in trade.   Keywords: Hadith, prohibition, sanad, matn, and monopoly

Abstract

Transpersonal psychology places mystical experience as an essential dimension in the evolution of human consciousness. Sufism, as a manifestation of Islamic mysticism, offers a process of psychological transformation through fana' (the elimination of the ego) and baqa' (stable spiritual consciousness). This study analyzes the relationship between sufism and transpersonal psychology by examining the similarities between the concept of fana' and Maslow's self-transcendence and baqa' and Jungian individuation. Using critical literature studies, this study shows that mystical experiences in Sufism are not just spiritual phenomena, but psychological mechanisms that play a role in the regulation of emotions, the reconstruction of self-identity, and the optimization of mental well-being. Furthermore, Sufistic practices such as muraqabah and dhikr have parallels with mindfulness in modern psychotherapy, which has implications for the effectiveness of mindfulness-based therapy. These findings confirm that the integration of Sufism and transpersonal psychology can reconstruct contemporary psychotherapeutic approaches, presenting a more holistic and spirituality-based model of intervention.

Abstract

The Digital Era 5.0 is marked by the integration of artificial intelligence, technology personalization, and high connectivity in human life, including in the religious realm. This article discusses how social media can be a strategic tools in revitalizing the values ​​of ushuluddin which include aspects of monotheism, morality, and transcendental awareness. Using a qualitative approach through literature studies and critical discourse analysis, this article reveals that social media can be an interactive, participatory, and cross-generational preaching space. However, its use also presents challenges in the form of a flood of religious information, the spread of intolerant ideologies, and the reduction of the meaning of religious teachings due to symbolic commodification. Therefore, revitalizing the values ​​of ushuluddin on social media requires strong digital literacy, adaptive religious communication strategies, and active collaboration from religious figures, academics, and digital communities. These findings emphasize the importance of making social media not just a tools, but a new spiritual space that supports the development of people's religiosity in a contextual and transformative manner.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the thoughts of Islamic education according to Al-Qabisi and his contribution to Islamic education. Al-Qabisi was a prominent educational figure around the 4th century Hijri, his concept of thought became a reference in teaching children at that time. Al-Qabisi's thoughts on Islamic education include children's educational institutions, the goals of Islamic education, the Islamic education curriculum consisting of the ijbari and ikhtiyari curriculum, methods and learning techniques. In addition, Al-Qabisi also criticized the world of educators or teachers, the separation between male and female students, the prohibition of non-Muslims studying in kuttab owned by Muslims and so on. Al-Qabisi had a concept of evaluation, although it was not like the concept and evaluation system today. Al Qabisy's contribution to improving the quality of Islamic education can be seen in improving the quality of religious education and the Islamic education system. He argued that religious education should be the basis for Islamic education.

Abstract

This study employs a systematic approach to literature selection, incorporating both primary and secondary sources to ensure validity, relevance, and methodological quality. The research examines the practice of Dalail alQur’an fasting from Islamic legal and health perspectives, utilizing a comprehensive literature review that includes religious texts such as the Qur’an and Hadith, as well as scholarly works and scientific journals published within the last decade. Data validation was conducted through source triangulation to enhance objectivity and reliability, while qualitative descriptive analysis was used to integrate religious and medical viewpoints. The findings indicate that Dalail al-Qur’an fasting is a unique form of voluntary fasting (dahr) combined with the monthly recitation of the entire Qur’an, excluding prohibited fasting days such as Eid. While it offers spiritual enrichment and potential health benefits like detoxification and improved metabolism, critical evaluation is necessary due to possible risks related to nutritional deficiency and mental fatigue, particularly when practiced without proper guidance or individual assessment. This study contributes a balanced, interdisciplinary perspective on the integration of religious practice and health outcomes, emphasizing the importance of responsible implementation in line with both Sharia principles and medical recommendations.

Abstract

The Umayyad dynasty pioneered the development of Islamic libraries during its reign. This article aims to find out the reasons for the establishment and development phases of Islamic libraries during the Umayyad Dynasty. This research is a type of library research with descriptive qualitative analysis. The approach used is a hostorist and normative-descriptive approach. Data were collected and processed using heuristic, criticism, interpretation, and historiography techniques. The results of this study show that: 1) the cause of the establishment of the Islamic library during the Umayyad Dynasty was started by Yazid bin Khalid who realized the urgency of science. He then called the Greeks in Egypt to translate books into Arabic to complete the library collection. 2) The development phase of the Islamic library during the Umayyad Dynasty was influenced by the power and scientific tradition of Syria, the development of culture, and the library.
