Abstract

This study discusses the role of social media as a dominant force in marketing strategies, particularly in the culinary industry in Indonesia, with a focus on the city of Medan. In recent years, the rapid growth of social media users has created significant opportunities for businesses to leverage these platforms in reaching a broader consumer base. This research refers to previous studies that show social media not only functions as a promotional tool but also as a means to build more interactive relationships between businesses and consumers. By understanding this dynamic, businesses in the culinary sector can formulate more effective marketing strategies that are responsive to consumer needs, thus enhancing their competitiveness in an increasingly competitive market. This study is expected to provide valuable insights for entrepreneurs on how to optimally utilize social media to achieve their marketing objectives.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of discounts on purchasing decisions for Camille Beauty products. The increasing market competition demands companies to develop effective marketing strategies, one of which is through offering discounts. Based on an associative study with a quantitative approach, data were collected through online questionnaires distributed to Camille Beauty consumers. The results of the simple regression analysis showed that discounts have a significant and positive effect on purchasing decisions, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 39.1%. This means that 39.1% of the variability in purchasing decisions can be explained by the discount variable. These findings indicate that the larger the discount offered, the higher the tendency for consumers to purchase Camille Beauty products.

Data were collected through a quantitative survey of 200 healthy food consumers and in-depth interviews with business owners. he findings indicate that digital marketing strategy has the most significant impact on business growth, followed by product pricing and product innovation. Healthy food businesses that optimize marketing through social media, online ordering applications, and digital promotion strategies have a greater opportunity to expand their market share. Meanwhile, although healthy food is relatively more expensive than conventional fast food, consumers are still willing to purchase if the product provides clear health benefits. Product innovation also contributes to increasing customer loyalty. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of digital marketing strategies and innovation in accelerating the growth of healthy food businesses, as well as the need for government policies to support this industry, such as incentives for healthy food entrepreneurs

Abstract

The availability of healthcare workers in remote areas is a major challenge within the healthcare system in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the motivation factors and retention strategies of healthcare workers in remote regions through a systematic literature review method. A total of 21 relevant scientific articles were analyzed to understand the factors influencing the motivation and retention of healthcare workers. The study results show that healthcare workers' motivation is influenced by financial incentives, career development, as well as social and work environment factors. Policies such as the Nusantara Sehat Program and special capitation have helped improve the distribution of healthcare workers, although there are still challenges in their implementation. Non-financial factors, such as job satisfaction and support, also play a role in the sustainability of healthcare workers in remote areas. Therefore, more comprehensive policies are needed to ensure the sustainability of programs and the equitable distribution of healthcare workers across Indonesia.

Abstract

This research is conducted to analyze the impact of Green Accounting implementation through Waste Management and Energy Efficiency on the financial performance of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Green Accounting has become an important focus in the business world as it integrates environmental aspects into corporate financial reporting to support business sustainability. This study uses a quantitative research method and secondary data obtained from the financial statements and sustainability reports of manufacturing companies in the consumer goods sub-sector listed on the IDX for the period 2020-2023. The independent variable (X) used is Green Accounting, measured through waste management and energy efficiency, while the dependent variable is financial performance, measured using Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), and Net Profit Margin (NPM). Data is analyzed using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method. The results of the research show that the implementation of Green Accounting through waste management and energy efficiency has a significant impact on the company's financial performance. Effective waste management can reduce operational costs and enhance the company's reputation, while energy efficiency helps lower production costs and increase profitability. This study provides practical implications for companies to not overlook environmental aspects in business operations to achieve better financial performance while supporting sustainable development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the moderating role of entrepreneurship education on entrepreneurial behavior based on the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) among 400 MSME actors in Medan City. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with a Partial Least Squares (PLS) approach via SmartPLS version 4. The results show that entrepreneurship education significantly moderates the influence of attitude and perceived behavioral control on entrepreneurial behavior, but does not moderate subjective norms and entrepreneurial intention. These findings highlight the importance of entrepreneurship education programs that focus on shaping positive attitudes and enhancing self-control perceptions to foster entrepreneurial behavior among MSMEs. The government and related institutions are advised to develop sustainable mentoring programs and access to capital as tangible support for MSME actors, while the entrepreneurs themselves are encouraged to actively participate in entrepreneurship training to enhance business capacity and competitiveness amid market dynamics. This study is limited to the Medan City area and relies on subjective perception data; therefore, future research is recommended to expand the geographical scope and adopt qualitative methods for deeper understanding.
