Abstract

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) training activities were carried out in the Cibiru Wetan Tourism Village for the reason that the Cibiru Wetan tourist village wanted to participate in the Indonesian Tourism Village Award in the digital village category, and one of the indicators was an increase in traffic visiting the Cibiru Wetan tourist village website and optimization of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) was the solution. It was proven that this assistance was successful in increasing village officials' understanding of digital marketing. Involving 21 participants, this training focused on basic SEO concepts, keyword optimization, content creation and website analysis. Before the training, SEO knowledge was only possessed by one individual, but afterward, all participants showed significant improvements in their understanding and competency, with post-test scores increasing from 20% to 70%. This program also supports target villages in participating in the Indonesian Tourism Village Award (ADWI). This activity emphasizes the importance of digitalization in advancing sustainable tourism, empowering local communities. The results of this training will not only benefit Cibiru Wetan Village but also become a model that can be applied by other villages who want to develop their tourism sector in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

Live shopping is one approach to marketing methods. However, this strategy requires a deep understanding of the conditions of its partners, especially for those who are just starting out, requiring technological knowledge as well as an understanding of consumer behavior and regional market dynamics. This Community Service activity aims to improve the understanding and skills of MSMEs in Bandung City in utilizing digital marketing strategies through live shopping. A total of 16 MSME partners participated in this program, the research method designed included two stages, namely needs analysis and counseling related to business model changes and digital consumer behavior. The evaluation results showed that 80% of the partners successfully surpassed the post-test threshold score of 70, with an average understanding above 70%. From the 15 questions asked, feedback shows that partners have a good understanding of the concept of live shopping, the influence of technology in marketing, and the importance of understanding consumer behavior. This activity is expected to make a significant contribution in improving the competitiveness of MSMEs, as well as encouraging innovation in marketing local products in the digital era.

Abstract

Cibiru Wetan Village in Cileunyi Sub-district, Bandung Regency, West Java, has achieved achievements at the local, national and ASEAN levels. The success of this village cannot be separated from the idea of economic development, especially in the field of digitalization and tourism. The Dusun Terbang homestay in Dusun 01 RW 02 is a major discovery. The homestay helps maintain local culture by providing income for the community and attracting tourists with welcoming dances. This homestay has attracted tourists since 2022 and can promote rural tourism. Homestay management has improved, but operational management, welcoming guests, cleanliness, and security still need to be improved. With the socialization and training methods provided through workshop activities to the community and producing scientific updates on homestay management in Dusun Terbang, the average value of the workshop reached 70%, which indicates an increase in understanding and competence in topics related to the workshop, so that community-based homestay development can improve the tourism economy. Sustainable tourism can also be achieved through community homestay development. The socialization and training activities of this workshop have increased the understanding of homestay development and operational management.

Abstract

Dysmenorrhea is a common condition and refers to painful menstruation (periods) with severe cramps affecting the lower abdomen. The pain starts a few hours before or with the onset of menstruation and lasts for 1-3 days. Pain and frequency may decrease with age or after childbirth. Research shows that between 41% - 91.5% of young women, school and college age, experience dysmenorrhea. Lifestyle changes include aerobic exercise and stretching, while complementary alternative treatments include peppermint, cinnamon, ginger and other herbs and supplements. This activity is a continuation of research that has been conducted. Based on the above background, researchers are interested in conducting community service activities with the title Development of Adolescent Independence on Dysmenorrhea Management with Majeniku Extract in Sembulang Village, Galang Kec. With the method of empowering adolescents in processing Majeniku. The initial activity was an exploration with a field survey, and coordination with the Head of Sembulang Village, Sub district galang In the service activity before the activity begins the community service team conducts the Pre-test stage, counseling, discussion and making Majeniku, at the counseling stage the activity is carried out, making Majeniku extracts involving teenagers who are present. Post-test and evaluation stages receive feedback responses from participants to the community service team.

Abstract

Indonesia has the third highest number of tuberculosis cases in the world after India and China. The most cases of tuberculosis occur in West Java, which is 73%. In 2021, there were 3,962 cases of tuberculosis in Depok City. TB case detection behavior is predictable, and the intent, purpose, and intent to carry out TB case detection are influenced by attitudes towards these behaviors, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control (PBC). This community service activity was carried out in Depok City. This activity will be carried out for two months from April to May 2024. The number of participants in this activity was 30 people. The stages of this activity include preparation, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. The results of this study show that education based on Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) changes executive knowledge and behavior to be effective in detecting tuberculosis cases.

Abstract

Child immunization programs are very important to improve the health and well-being of children and prevent the spread of deadly infectious diseases. Vaccination is the most important way to prevent disease because it can protect people from serious diseases such as measles, polio, diphtheria, tetanus, and many other diseases that can cause serious complications and even death. This is one of the most effective strategies. In December 2024, community service activities were carried out at the Medan Tuntungan Community Health Center to provide education aimed at increasing parents' understanding and awareness of the importance of complete primary vaccination for their children. The counseling activity was attended by 28 mothers who have babies and toddlers. Participants took part in the activities happily and enthusiastically. The more knowledge mothers gain regarding the importance of complete basic immunization, the better their knowledge regarding complete basic immunization will be and it is hoped that mothers will also have a positive attitude so that there will be a better and increased impact.

Abstract

WHO recommends that pregnant women engage in moderate intensity physical activity for at least 150 minutes per week during pregnancy and during postpartum. One form of physical activity during pregnancy can be done through pregnancy exercises. The aim of this community service activity is to improve the quality of antenatal care which is carried out by providing information and teaching pregnancy exercises to third trimester pregnant women who take part in the pregnancy class at the Az-Zahra Clinic, Tangerang City. This community service activity was carried out twice on Saturday, July 6 2024 and Saturday, July 13 2024 at the Az-Zahra Clinic, Tangerang City. The method used is counseling regarding the importance of implementing pregnancy exercises during pregnancy using power point media and implementing pregnancy exercise exercises accompanied by midwives and midwifery students who have received previous pregnancy exercise training. The participants were 12 pregnant women in the second and third trimesters. Community service activities are divided into preparation stages, activity implementation, and activity evaluation. It is hoped that this activity of implementing pregnancy exercise will continue to be sustainable, and can be carried out independently by every pregnant woman at home with the assistance of a midwife. So, through the implementation of pregnancy exercises you can optimize the health of the mother and fetus, and prepare for a safe, normal delivery.

Abstract

Contraception is the prevention of fertilization of an egg by a sperm cell or prevention of the attachment of a fertilized egg to the uterine wall. The contraception program is one effort that can be made to control the birth rate. The use of postpartum birth control is an important aspect in reproductive health and family planning. In an effort to achieve sustainable development goals, attention to the welfare of mothers, children and families is becoming increasingly urgent. The aim of this service is to provide postpartum family planning education to pregnant women to actively participate in the success of family planning activities. The method used in this community service activity begins with post-natal family planning education, various types of post-natal family planning according to needs. The result of this activity was an increase in the knowledge of respondents, the majority of whom were in the good category (87.5%). Overall, this service activity can be said to be good because it has succeeded in increasing respondents' knowledge and understanding regarding postpartum family planning.

Abstract

Pregnancy and childbirth in a mother is a natural process. In order for the natural process to run smoothly and well and not develop into a pathological condition, mothers can increase their knowledge about signs of high-risk pregnancy through health workers, especially midwives, Posyandu officers and the mass media. The purpose of this community service is to provide information to pregnant women about TT immunization and preparation for childbirth. The method used in this community service activity begins with the opening and introduction of the speakers, then continues with the delivery of health education materials, a question and answer session for participants and finally closing. This activity was attended by 13 pregnant women and an assessment was carried out using the Pre Test and Post Test. With this activity, the Posyandu and Puskesmas, especially pregnant women as the target, felt helped and could increase knowledge in pregnant women.

Abstract

The phenomenon of sexual violence is increasingly prevalent and constitutes a serious issue in various countries. Sexual violence can affect both women and men, irrespective of age, and may occur in schools, communities, or public spaces. Each year, the incidence of sexual violence among adolescents continues to rise. The escalating cases of sexual harassment among adolescents each year are influenced by several factors, one of which is the inadequate knowledge and attitudes of adolescents. Therefore, it is essential to provide sexual health education to adolescents as a preventive measure against sexual violence. The method employed in this community engagement activity involves interactive participation accompanied by case-based discussions, question-and-answer sessions, as well as discussions conducted in the form of Focus Group Discussions (FGD) and educational sessions. As part of the evaluation process, pre-tests and post-tests related to the educational material will be administered to all participants. The outcomes of this activity indicate that participants have gained benefits, including additional knowledge and understanding regarding sexual violence and its prevention. Thus, aligning with the objective of the activity, it aims to empower the community, especially adolescents, in efforts to prevent sexual violence in their surrounding environment.
