Abstract

Abstrak. Pertumbuhan layanan broadband mobile internet telah mengubah paradigma konsumen mobile telephone dari information oriented ke arah social and communication oriented. Seiring dengan perubahan tersebut, perusahaan penyedia layanan telekomunikasi selular mengembangkan bisnis model online community sebagai 'panggung' yang mudah diakses oleh seluruh pelanggan yang berkepentingan terhadap fasilitas tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membangun model online community relationship management dalam pembentukan value co-creation di industri broadband telekomunikasi selular, menganalisis pengaruh online community terhadap pembentukan sikap pelanggan terhadap merk dan perusahaan. Penelitian menggunakan sampel komunitas pelanggan broadband dari perusahaan telekomunikasi selular terbesar di Indonesia. Analisis yang digunakan menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). Penelitian ini menghasilkan model pengaruh online community terhadap pembentukan sikap pelanggan dan value co-creation sebagai model Online Community Relationship Management dalam industri broadband telekomunikasi selular di Indonesia.Kata kunci: Sikap pelanggan, Keterlibatan pelanggan, Online community relationship management, Service dominant logic, Value co-creationAbstract.The growth of mobile broadband services has changed the paradigm of mobile phone consumers from information oriented toward social and communication oriented. Along with this changes, mobile telecommunications providers have to develop a business model of online community as a 'stage' that is easily accessible to all interested customers to this facility. This research serves to purposes. First is to build a model of online community relationship management in the creation of value co-creation. The second purpose is to analyze the impact of online community to the creation of customer's attitude toward the brand and firm image. The study is using a sample of broadband community from the largest mobile telecommunications provider in Indonesia. The analysis tools are Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). From this research, we will know the model of the impact of online community to the customer attitudes and value co-creation as an Online Community Relationship Management in broadband mobile telecommunications industry in Indonesia.Keywords: Customer attitude, Online community relationship management, Service dominant logic, Value co-creation.

Abstract

Abstrak. Konsep bisnis mengalami perubahan dari konvensional (off-line) ke digital (on-line) untuk memenangkan persaingan, termasuk bisnis di sektor keuangan melalui Financial Technology (FinTech). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis karakteristik dan kualitas pinjaman pada FinTech-Peer to Peer (P2P) Lending di Indonesia. Objek penelitian adalah penyelenggara FinTech-P2P lending sebanyak 72 perusahaan. Alat analisis menggunakan analisis rasio kualitas pinjaman dan trend data bulan Januari - Oktober 2018. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa jumlah rekening borrower dan lender meningkat 10,8 kali dan 1,8 kali dibanding tahun sebelumnya. P2P lending menyalurkan dana pinjaman sebesar Rp.15.990.143.141.355 per Oktober 2018, jumlah tersebut tumbuh drastis 5,3 kali dibanding per Januari 2018. Sebagian besar pinjaman dana di P2P lending adalah pinjaman lancar yang pembayarannya dapat dipenuhi tidak lebih dari 30 hari. Rata-rata kualitas pinjaman di P2P lending didominasi oleh pinjaman lancar sebesar 97,09%, sisanya pinjaman tidak lancar (1,90%), dan macet (1,03%) setiap bulannya. Rendahnya non-Performing Loan menunjukkan kualitas transaksi keuangan yang baik dan mengindikasikan prospek baik bagi investor untuk menanamkan modalnya pada FinTech-P2P lending di Indonesia. Keterbatasan penelitian ini adalah menggunakan data bulanan dalam satu periode menjadi bahan analisis. Informasi penelitian ini menjadi bahan pertimbangan bagi masyarakat dalam menggunakan FinTech-P2P Lending untuk pinjaman dana dan berinvestasi.Kata kunci: Financial technology, P2P lending, karakteristik, kualitas pinjaman, IndonesiaAbstract. The business concept changes from conventional (off-line) to digital (on-line) to win the competition, including businesses in the financial sector through Financial Technology (FinTech). This study aims to analyze the characteristics and quality of loans in FinTech-Peer to Peer (P2P) Lending in Indonesia. The object of the research is the 72 companies of FinTech-P2P lending. The analysis tool uses loan quality ratio analysis and data trends from January to October 2018. The results of the study found that the number of borrower and lender accounts increased 10.8 times and 1.8 times compared to the previous year. P2P lending disburses loan funds amounting to Rp.15,990,143,141,355 as of October 2018, this number has grown dramatically 5.3 times compared to January 2018. Most of the loan funds in P2P lending are current loans with payments for no more than 30 days. The average loan quality in P2P lending is dominated by current loans of 97.09%, the remaining non-current loans (1.90%), and bad loans (1.03%) each month. The low non-Performing Loan shows the quality of good financial transactions and indicates a good prospect for investors to invest in FinTech-P2P lending in Indonesia. The limitation of this study is to use monthly data in one period to be analyzed. This research information is a matter of consideration for the community in using FinTech-P2P Lending to fund loans and invest.Keywords: Financial technology, P2P lending, characteristics, loan quality, Indonesia

Abstract

Corporate Entrepreneurship (CE) merupakan konsep penting untuk melakukan pembaharuan terhadap birokrasi yang selama ini dijalankan demi meningkatkan efisiensi dan keefektifan kinerja pemerintah dalam memberikan  pelayanan  prima  kepada masyarakat. Penelitian  ini menguji  hubungan  antara orientasi entrepreneurial dan kepemimpinan entrepreneurial terhadap kepuasan kerja dan kepuasan masyarakat. Alat  yang  digunakan  untuk mengukur CE  adalah  Entrepreneurial Orientation  Survey (EOS) dan Entrepreneurial Leadership Questionnaire (ELQ). Metode yang digunakan untuk memahami dan menjelaskan fenomena tersebut adalah dengan melakukan survei responden terhadap 204 yang bekerja di intansi pelayanan publik di Badan Pelayanan Perizinan Terpadu (BPPT) Kota dan Kabupaten Bandung. Analisis jalur (Path Analysis) digunakan untuk menguji pengaruh orientasi entrepreneurial dan  kepemimpinan  entrepreneurial  terhadap  kepuasan  kerja  dan  kepuasan  masyarakat.  Hasil penelitian  menunjukkan  bahwa  terdapat  hubungan  yang  positif  dan  signifikan  antara  orientasi entrepreneurial, kepemimpinan entrepreneurial terhadap kepuasan kerja dan kepuasan masyarakat. Hal Ini berarti bahwa semakin tinggi orientasi entrepreneurial dan kepemimpinan entrepreneurial maka kinerja pemerintah yang ditinjau dari kepuasan dari kepuasan kerja dan kepuasan masyarakat akan semakin meningkat. Hasil pengukuran EOS dan ELQ menunjukan adanya perbedaan karakteristik yang  berarti  antara BPPT di Kota Bandung  dan Kabupaten Bandung,  yang  ditinjau  dari  orientasi entrepreneurial, kepemimpinan entrepreneurial, kepuasan kerja dan kepuasan masyarakat.Kata  kunci: corporate entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship, path analysis, pelayanan  publik

Abstract

Consumunity theory offers a view in which consumers can co-create the value in-use of the brand.  Given a platform, consumers share their tastes and buy preferences for the benefits of others adapting to their surrounding social values.  Many brand literatures address the platform as a brand community, yet there has not been any attempt to separate between the values of the brand community and the utilized spaces of knowledge sharing platform (KSP) because both platforms have been assumed to be embedded together in one platform.  The purpose of this quantitative research is to show that KSP by its distinct roles and functions other than the values of brand community can also contribute to the brand community commitment.  A sample of 600 respondents was collected with accidental sampling method at three various brand community events in Bogor and Jakarta, namely Kecap Bango Mania, Bogasari Baking Center and Ibu dan Balita of Frisian Flags.  The analytical method employed is structural equation analysis using structural equation modelling (SEM) as its tool to run the data. The result of this descriptive research shows that there is a good probability that brand community commitment can be influenced by the knowledge sharing platform alone.  This finding should be beneficial to the brand producer to consider KSP as an alternative means to have their employees involved in its activity to maintain the moral values of the brand. Abstract

It is widely accepted that the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) as a management philosophy has significantly contributed to good management practice in business organization particularly in the manufacturing and service sectors. The applications of that concepts, techniques and tools have been successfully tailored to non-profit service or government-based organization. In the context of higher education institution, it has been seriously debated by the TQM scholars and academicians on the issue of to what extent TQM can be applied and how relevant its practices are to higher education's core business i.e. teaching and research. Despite having sufficient knowledge and research on TQM implementation in the scope of manufacturing practices and administration-related services, it is hard to find a research on TQM, which focuses on the scope of R&D at a university. This gap has to be filled because the management of research is a critical topic for universities worldwide. For developing countries such as Malaysia the need to have good management practice in R&D is even greater. Without effective research management, the task of becoming significant players in the global knowledge market will become harder. Thus, the first part of this paper will discuss the applicability of TQM and propose a theoretical framework or model of TQM to suit the need of R&D context. The constructs for the TQM framework are based on previous empirical studies and the evaluation criteria of world standard criteria such as MBNQA, EFQM, and QMS ISO 9000. The TQM constructs that will be proposed are leadership, strategic planning, student/stakeholder & industry focus, data & information management, staff management, process & system approach, partnership & resource and continuous improvement. The second part of the paper will discuss the performance indicators of R&D activities particularly in the context of public university. The review of international literatures stressed that the performance of R&D activities have to be measured. The current issue related to research performance at university is the level the research output that can be transferred to the stakeholders. Therefore, this study will use technology transfer framework to measure research performance such as publication, patents, royalty and Spin-off Company. Finally, this paper will conceptually develop a model that would show the relationship between the TQM practices in the area of research and the level of technology transfer. Keywords: TQM, Technology Transfer, Commercialization, University, Research Management

Abstract

Abstrak. Prosedur system development life cycle (SDLC) mempunyai peranan penting dalam proses pengembangan sistem di Divisi Teknologi Sistem Informasi (TSI) Bank BRI. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memilih proses IT COBIT yang digunakan sebagai fokus area evaluasi penerapan SDLC, menilai maturity level dari penerapan SDLC, memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan penerapan SDLC, dan merancang kerangka kerja IT balanced scorecard (IT BSC) tentang perbaikan penerapan SDLC. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dan maturity model COBIT 4.1 sebagai alat assessment untuk mengukur maturity level dari penerapan SDLC melalui sebuah survei. Data hasil survei dianalisa dengan analisis maturity level dan analisis gap. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Divisi TSI berada pada maturity level 3 (Defined Process). Analisis gap menghasilkan rekomendasi perbaikan berdasarkan detail control objective (DCO) COBIT yang tidak memenuhi expected maturity level (EML). Akhirnya rekomendasi perbaikan disajikan dalam bentuk kerangka kerja IT BSC.Kata kunci: system life cycle development, IT balanced scorecard, COBIT 4.1, detail control objective, maturity levelAbstract. System development life cycle (SDLC) procedures has an important role in the process of system development in BRI Information Systems Technology (TSI) Division. This research aims to select the COBIT IT processes that are used as evaluation focus area of SDLC implementation, assess the maturity level of SDLC implementation, provide recommendations for improvement of SDLC implementation, and design a framework IT balanced scorecard (IT BSC) about improvement of SDLC implementation. The sampling method using purposive sampling and maturity models COBIT 4.1 as an assessment tool to measure the maturity level of SDLC implementation through a survey. Survey data were analyzed with a maturity level analysis and gap analysis. The results showed that the TSI Division is at maturity level 3 (Defined Process). Gap analysis generates recommendations for improvements based on detailed control objectives (DCO) COBIT that has not reached the expected maturity level (EML). Abstract

Belajar dan pengetahuan telah eksis sejak manusia berada. Namun, manfaat pengetahuan bagi dunia ekonomi dan social, baru dipahami pada akhir abad 20 ini. Ini terjadi karena fenomena belajar dan karateristik pengetahuan yang bersifat virtual, agak sulit untuk difahami dan dimanfaatkan bagi aktivitas ekonomi, walaupun manfaatnya dapat dirasakan. Era pengetahuan makin memunculkan pentingnya pengetahuan bagi kesejahteraan manusia. Perusahaan-perusahaan kelas dunia, telah menunjukkan peran dan fungsi pengetahuan sebagai modal fisik yang dimilikinya mampu menciptakan nilai tambah bisnis, kekayaan bagi pemilik serta kesejahteraan bagi karyawan dan masyarakat. Pengetahuan telah menjadi asset utama untuk membangun kesejahteraan ekonomi. Organisasi belajar dan manajemen pengetahuan pada hakekatnya adalah upaya untuk revitalisasi hakekat dan kedudukan manusia (Human Center Design) dalam organisasi, sehingga terjadi proses transformasi seluruh potensi individual menjadi modal maya organisasi, untuk menghasilkan organisasi cerdas. Organisasi cerdas hanya akan tercapai jika kita bisa mendudukan manusia yang memiliki kesadaran akan nilai-nilai kefilsafatan, keindahan dan keilmuan yang merupakan lambing dari moralitas kehidupan. Disamping itu, human akan mampu mengambil jarak antara dirinya dengan dirinya sendiri, serta dirinya dengan sesuatu yang berada diluar dirinya. Kesadaran akan jarak ini membuat manusia mampu melihat dirinya maupun keadaan di luar dirinya, sehingga ia akan mampu berkembang menjadi manusia yang intelek dan bermoral. Manusia seperti ini akan memiliki potensi dirinya, sehingga ia akan mampu berkembang menjadi manusia yang intelek dan bermoral. Manusia seperti ini akan memiliki potensi yang sangat hebat dan tidak terbatas. Mereka akan menjadi bibit unggul, karena memiliki kompetensi intelektual, potensi etika dan potensi social yang sangat dibutuhkan untuk membangun modal maya organisasi.

Abstract

As a company that moves in retail business specialized in selling daily needs, company X has developed their brand to become top of customers’ mindwith 12% rate of sales growth. However, the Board of Directors (BOD) of company X targeting the rate of sales growth should be 20%, therefore they decide to make an expansion to gain the sales rate, also follow the increasing demand, as well as maintain the customer satisfaction.This research focuses on determining the best alternative that can generate the highest revenue for company X, using decision analysis tools (i.e. smart choice), decision tree and sensitivity analysis. This analysis will be presented in step-by-step in order to be able to generate the best alternatives by understanding the consequences, tradeoff, and uncertainties of the alternative. Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh umur perusahaan terhadap kinerja perbankan syariah di Indonesia. Untuk membandingkan antara pengaruh umur terhadap kinerja Bank Umum Syariah (BUS) yang berasal dari Unit Usaha Syariah (UUS) dan BUS hasil konversi, pada penelitian ini dianalisis pengaruh pengalaman BUS sebagai UUS terhadap kinerja BUS. Penelitian ini menggunakan data statistik perbankan syariah di Indonesia, untuk periode 1999-2011, dengan ukuran kinerja BUS berupa rasio keuangan: profitabilitas, likuiditas dan efesiensi. Untuk menganalisis pengaruh umur terhadap kinerja BUS, digunakan model regresi data panel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara umur perusahaan dan kinerja BUS, namun tidak menunjukan pengaruh signifikan antara pengalaman sebelumnya sebagai UUS terhadap kinerja Bank Umum Syariah (BUS) setelah spin-off.Kata Kunci: Pengalaman, Bank Umum Syariah, Kinerja, ROA, ROEAbstractThe purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of firm age on the performance of Islamic Banks ( BUS ) in Indonesia. To compare the effect of firm age on performance of BUS derived from UUS and BUS resulted from conversion, we analyzed the influence of experience as UUS on BUS performance. This study used statistical data of Islamic banking in Indonesia, for the period 1999-2011, with a performance measure of BUS in the form of financial ratios: profitability, liquidity and effeciency. To analyze the influence of firm age and experience to BUS performance, we use panel data regression model . The results showed that there is a significant relationship between firm age and performance of Islamic Banks, however, it did not show a significant relationship between prior experience as Islamic Business Unit (IBU) on the performance of Islamic Banks (IB ) after spin-off .Key Words: Experience, Islamic Bank, Performance, ROA, ROE
