Abstract

This study aims to analyze the sentiment of social media comments on interactive videos for children using the Naive Bayes algorithm, which is known to be effective in text classification and sentiment analysis. Data were collected from social media platforms regarding comments on popular interactive videos for children, and then processed through cleaning, tokenization, stopwords removal, and stemming stages. Naive Bayes algorithm was used to classify the comments into three categories: positive, neutral, and negative. The analysis showed that 48.3% of the comments were positive, 47.2% were neutral, and 4.5% were negative. Positive sentiments indicated more support for the educational aspects and interactivity, while negative sentiments focused more on content quality and concerns about screen addiction and age appropriateness. The accuracy of the analysis reached 55.6%, which demonstrates the effectiveness of the Naive Bayes algorithm. This research provides useful insights for content developers and policymakers to understand the public's response to interactive children's videos and improve content quality to better suit children's educational and developmental needs

Abstract

This study aims to design a web-based application that supports the process of submitting and using medical device needs at Mitra Medika Bandar Klippa Hospital. This application is designed to make it easier for logistics admins to manage medical device stock, including adding and removing goods, and to make it easier for medical staff to submit device requests and monitor their submission status. The methodology used involves system requirements analysis, design, implementation, and system testing using the Black Box Testing method. The test results show that all application features, such as stock management, report printing, and submission status monitoring, function properly without any errors. User surveys show a satisfaction level of 75%, indicating that this application is effective in improving the efficiency of medical device management in hospitals.

Abstract

This study designs and develops a water level monitoring system for fish ponds based on the Internet of Things (IoT) using wireless communication channels Bluetooth low energy (BLE) and Lo-Ra The system consists of a Sensor Node, Repeater, Gateway, and the Blynk Cloud application. The Sensor Node detects the water level and pump condition, processes the data, and transmits it to the Repeater via BLE signals. The Repeater receives information from the Sensor Node and sends it to the Gateway using Lo-Ra signals. The Gateway receives the data and send it to the Blynk Cloud via WiFi and cellular networks. To conserve battery usage on the Repeater, the transmission process is scheduled periodically, where after sending information to the Gateway, the ESP-32 enters deep sleep mode for 60 seconds before resuming operation. Based on testing, the JSN-SR04T ultrasonic sensor can measure pond water levels ranging from 20 cm to 200 cm with a maximum error of 3% and an average error of 1%. The communication range of BLE in LOS (Line of Sight) areas with a 7dBi antenna can reach up to 40 meters, while the communication range of LoRa can reach up to 700 meters. By utilizing deep sleep mode on the Repeater to delay delivery battery usage is significantly more efficient compared to using the delay function, where a delivery delay of 60 seconds saves 143% and the longer the delay, the more economical the use of deep sleep. The water level and pump condition messages from the Sensor Node to the operator via Blynk vary between 8 to 25 seconds, depending on the internet signal.

Abstract

The high costs associated with specialized scanning devices for computer-based answer sheets (LJK) present significant barriers for educational institutions, especially those in underfunded or rural areas. This research introduces an application utilizing the Canny edge detection algorithm to process and evaluate LJK responses efficiently and accurately. The proposed system employs advanced image processing techniques to detect marked answers and automate scoring based on a pre-configured answer key, significantly reducing manual errors. Python programming was used to develop the application, leveraging its robust libraries and flexibility. The system demonstrated reliable edge detection and efficient response evaluation in various testing scenarios. This approach provides a scalable and cost-effective alternative to manual grading systems or expensive scanning devices, potentially transforming how assessments are handled in educational institutions.

Abstract

This research investigates the development and implementation of an online booking system for Larissa Salon Studio in Binjai, utilizing the Design Thinking Method. The study addresses the challenges faced by the salon in managing appointments and promoting services through social media, which often led to inaccuracies and inefficiencies. By employing a structured approach that includes needs assessment, design, prototyping, testing, and evaluation, the research proposes a user-friendly website that facilitates seamless appointment scheduling and enhances customer engagement. The findings reveal that the newly developed system significantly improves operational efficiency while aligning with user needs. The website features two user account roles—user and admin—offering functionalities such as service viewing, booking, and rescheduling. The interface is designed to be intuitive and has been tested with real users at Larissa Salon Studio. Ultimately, this research contributes to the salon's business growth by providing a centralized platform for service management and customer interaction, thereby enhancing overall service delivery in the digital age.

Abstract

Student savings information system to avoid errors in the saving process, one of the problems that occurs at MTS Al-Manar Medan is that the student savings management system at MTS Al-Manar still uses manual methods. With information conveyed orally, this causes the information received by students to be less accurate, not up to date, and easily lost and forgotten. This is less effective because the lack of accuracy in conveying and receiving information becomes an obstacle in processing student savings. This system is designed to make it easier to manage student savings as expected. The main focus of this system is to avoid errors in recording, loss of savings books, savings books, and managing savings data. You can use online media in the form of a website to make it easier for treasurers to manage savings and compile reports quickly and accurately. Researchers created a simple websitebased savings application at MTS Al-Manar using the UCD method. So that MTS Al-Manar Medan uses it, and provides optimal benefits for all parties involved. The goal with this savings application is to make it easier for school administration to input student savings data, and students can monitor each student's savings data on the savings application portal, thereby avoiding school savings application administrator errors.

Abstract

Radio MNC Trijaya 95.1 FM is a radio station that broadcasts the latest news in Indonesia. This research aims to create a broadcast information system on Radio MNC Trijaya 95.1 FM which provides a radio broadcast service system as well as news and song request facilities offered via the internet, and can be an online promotional media that can be accessed anytime and anywhere. To achieve the research objectives, data collection methodologies were used, such as direct observation, interviews and questionnaires. Then analyze the problem using the SWOT analysis method, and create a proposed system design that will be built using the RAD (Rapid Application Development) method, and the programming languages used are PHP and JavaScript. The database uses MySQL. The tools and editors used are XAMPP for Windows, Notepad++. The result of this research is to design a radio broadcasting information system on radio that can help listeners of Radio MNC Trijaya 95.1 FM in accessing information such as broadcast schedules, news and events, broadcaster profiles, and song requests.

Abstract

Data collection on deaths and elderly at the Medan Johor Sub-district Office is an urgent need to improve efficiency and accuracy in the data collection process at the government agency. elderly. With the increasing elderly population, it is important for the Medan Johor Sub-district Office to have an efficient and organized data collection system to manage elderly population data in its work area. The manual data collection system that may still be used by the Medan Johor Sub-district Office also has limitations. Manual processes such as filling out paper forms, manual data collection and processing can slow down the data collection process and increase the risk of errors. Therefore, designing a web-based data collection application is the right solution. By implementing a web-based data collection system, these limitations can be overcome by electronic data entry, automatic validation, and real-time data access.
