Abstract

Delivery of goods using two-wheeled vehicles is a dominant model of logistical distribution in urban areas of Indonesia, yet it faces practical challenges such as limited load capacity, traffic congestion, and adverse weather conditions. This study develops a model of the Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem with Pickup and Delivery (CVRPPD) based on the Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm to generate optimal routes that are both efficient and adaptive to these constraints. The model utilizes customer spatial data, shipment loads (both delivery and pickup), and environmental penalty factors in the form of weather and traffic levels, represented on an ordinal scale. The simulation process was executed over 200 iterations, yielding the best solution at iteration 60 with a best cost value of 2554.84 and a total of 13 vehicle routes, each complying with the maximum load capacity of 20 kg. The results indicate that PSO is capable of generating balanced, efficient, and realistic route allocations by explicitly accounting for the operational challenges faced by couriers in the field. This study contributes to the development of data-driven and AI-based logistics optimization systems that are contextualized for urban environments in developing countries.

Abstract

Mining is a strategic industry in economic development, but it is usually based on production activity management bottlenecks, namely target monitoring and realization, which are mostly done manually. This includes recording errors, reporting delays, and difficulties in data analysis. The purpose of this research is to evaluate and develop a web-based target information monitoring system and production realization system at PT Gukusu using the Waterfall method. The Waterfall method is based on clearly defined system requirements from the beginning, allowing systematic system development from requirements analysis, system design (using UML), implementation (using PHP and MySQL), black-box testing, and testing to failure. It is expected that this system will improve work efficiency, data accuracy, and management's ability to thoroughly evaluate products Academically, this research contributes to system development.

Abstract

Cryptography plays a critical role in safeguarding data, making it an essential subject in information security education. Within this course, various algorithms are introduced, each requiring different levels of computational complexity. However, instructional practice has revealed frequent student errors in executing encryption and decryption processes, primarily due to limited understanding of cryptographic algorithms and mathematical procedures. Since accuracy is fundamental in cryptography, miscalculations can lead to incorrect message interpretation. To mitigate these issues, the learning process is supported by CrypTool, a digital aid designed to guide students through encryption and decryption tasks and minimize computational errors

Abstract

In today's world of digitalization, many government and private agencies have implemented it, this is a form of manifestation of following the development of technology that follows the times so that the agency is not outdated. Langkat communication and informatics office has a langkat command center hall that can be used for agencies in the langkat district that will conduct activities. However, the system for submitting usage is still offline, namely by using paper media as an intermediary for communication in submitting requests for use. Of course, things like this have several obstacles, namely the slow approval process and sometimes the application letter data is not well served. In this era of information technology, of course, the Department needs an application that can help to process data on the use of the Langkat Command Center Hall using digitalized media. Therefore, in this study built an application for the use of Aula Langkat Command Center. With the aim that it can help the department to manage the data use of the hall effectively, efficiently and can improve the quality of service and reduce processing time and minimize errors.

Abstract

This study focuses on the design and development of a web-based customer data collection system for Aqil Water, aiming to address inefficiencies arising from manual data management. The system was developed using the PHP programming language and implemented with a MySQL database via XAMPP phpMyAdmin. By adopting the Design Thinking method, the system was designed to be user-oriented, providing digital forms, structured data organization, and interactive dashboards. Key features include customer data input, item and unit management, transaction records, and gift tracking for loyalty programs. The system significantly improves data accuracy, accessibility, and operational efficiency. Despite its successful implementation, the system currently has limitations in accessibility, which suggests the need for future development into a mobile-based and online-accessible platform

Abstract

The era of digital transformation has brought fundamental changes to the banking industry in Indonesia, encouraging banks to optimize information systems to improve service quality and maintain customer loyalty. This study focuses on Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) in Medan City, which is the economic center of North Sumatra with a high level of competition. In this context, information system audits are important to assess the reliability, security, and effectiveness of existing systems. This study aims to evaluate the effect of service quality and customer satisfaction on BRI customer loyalty, as well as to analyze the impact of information technology implementation in improving service quality. The methods used in this study include qualitative and quantitative analysis, with data collection through questionnaires distributed to BRI customers in Medan. The results of the study indicate that there is a significant effect between service quality and customer satisfaction on loyalty. In addition, the digital transformation carried out by BRI, including the implementation of the COBIT and ISO 31000 frameworks, has improved operational efficiency and data security. However, BRI also faces challenges in adapting to changing regulations and strengthening cybersecurity systems. These findings provide valuable insights for BRI management in optimizing more effective information systems and marketing strategies, and emphasize the importance of a customer-centric approach in improving customer experience. Recommendations for BRI include strengthening risk management and utilizing demographic data for more targeted product development, in order to maintain customer loyalty in the increasingly digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a student grade conversion information system for off-campus learning programs at ITB Indonesia. The system integrates with the Academic Information System (SIAKAD) to automate and synchronize grade conversion from off-campus activities. It was developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, which prioritizes speed and user involvement. The grade conversion process is based on seven assessment components used during off-campus learning activities: activity planning (perencanaan kegiatan), implementation and outcomes (pelaksanaan dan hasil kegiatan), activity reporting (pelaporan kegiatan), personality and social aspects (aspek kepribadian dan sosial), student self-assessment (penilaian diri mahasiswa), peer assessment (penilaian sejawat), and assessment by field supervisors, local authorities, or receiving lecturers at partner institutions (penilaian dari guru pamong, supervisor, aparat desa, atau dosen penerima di perguruan tinggi tujuan). These components are processed and mapped into final scores grouped under academic and non-academic courses, taking into account their relevance to the Program Learning Outcomes (CPL) and Course Learning Outcomes (CPMK). The system provides a real-time dashboard for both students and academic supervisors to monitor the status of grade submission, conversion processes, and final results in a transparent and structured manner.

Abstract

Rumah Kost Gang Famili No. 03 is one of the residences that has been established since 1991 and has served tenants for a long time. In its management, the process of recording tenant data, payment, and communication between boarding house owners and tenants is still carried out manually, so there are often delays in information and lack of efficiency. This research aims to design and develop a web-based information system for Rumah Kost Gang Famili No.03 with the Waterfall method, which is integrated with a messaging system (WhatsApp or SMS notifications) to facilitate the administration, monitoring, and communication process. This system has two types of users, namely visitors (tenants) who can view information and contact admins, and admins who can manage the webside itself. With the implementation of this system, it is hoped that boarding house management will be more effective, efficient, and responsive to the needs of tenants.
