Abstract

Digitalization of education is a transformation of the learning system through the use of digital technology, which aims to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the teaching and learning process. This research aims to analyze the effect of digitalization of education on the quality of student learning. The research uses a descriptive quantitative approach. The research method used is a simple linear regression design with data obtained through surveys involving students from various study programs. The research results show that digitalization has a positive impact on increasing accessibility, interactivity and learning efficiency. This shows that the increasing digitalization of education will also increase the quality of student learning. These findings provide important implications for university education in improving technology and creating more flexible, interactive, and efficient learning experiences.

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Pesantren of Nurul Qarnain Jember. Based on initial observations, it was found that this Islamic boarding school has a peculiarity, namely being able to integrate local wisdom values in the education carried out in it, for example, in teaching Sufism, students are taught about the importance of harmony between themselves, society, and the environment. In addition, prayer activities involving students in Nasyid and Hadrah traditional art performances were packaged with the title Majlis Al Wishol. Through the qualitative-descriptive research conducted, it was found that the approach of integrating local values with Islamic teachings was proven to increase students' awareness of the importance of preserving cultural heritage while adhering to religious principles. Furthermore, the results of the evaluation showed that teaching methods involving local cultural practices, such as traditional performing arts and environmental wisdom, created a more engaging learning atmosphere.

Abstract

This research is driven by the interaction between teachers and students in the contemporary era, which is associated with the content of the book Adabul Alim wal Muta'allim. For instance, the disappearance of etiquette, both between teachers and their students and vice versa. In the contemporary era, this seems to be considered irrelevant to the contents of the book Adabul Alim wal Muta'allim, possibly due to cultural influences and the surrounding environment. In this contemporary era, most teachers and students do not often study the book Adabul Alim wal Muta'allim and lack an understanding of what a teacher and a student should ideally do. This aspect is essential for researchers to investigate, aiming to understand the reasons why the interaction between teachers and students in this contemporary era is considered irrelevant to the contents of Adabul Alim wal Muta'allim. The method used is library research, collecting data in the form of documentation, such as documents from various sources like journals, theses, and websites, which are gathered and observed for careful selection. The conclusion drawn from this research is that the interaction between teachers and students in the contemporary era is not yet considered relevant to the content of Adabul Alim wal Muta'allim. This could potentially lead to further research on how the content of Adabul Alim wal Muta'allim could become relevant to education, especially in terms of teacher-student interactions.

Abstract

Junior High School 1 Songgon is an educational institution that incorporates three religions into its curriculum—Islam, Hinduism, and Christianity and excels in terms of knowledge without sacrificing its students' attitudes or character. This study aims to explore the impact of encouraging Islamic religious education values on the tolerant attitudes of multi-religious students. The goal is to foster both intellectual and emotional intelligence, as well as positive attitudes and character traits. This is qualitative research, including data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The author analyzed data by gathering, reducing, presenting, and drawing conclusions. This study found that instilling Islamic religious education ideals in multireligious pupils at Junior High School 1 Songgon leads to a tolerant mindset. There is no discrimination between Muslim and non-Muslim students. Everyone in the Junior High School 1 Songgon environment desires the same treatment and educational services from educators and each other, who are all unified and aid each other regardless of their socioeconomic situation. The researcher's findings show that Muslim and non-Muslim students interact and mingle without feeling inferior or embarrassed to socialize. Instilling Islamic religious education values can foster tolerance among students of different religions.

Abstract

Classroom management is a crucial aspect in ensuring the effectiveness of learning, especially in the context of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) which often faces the challenge of low student learning concentration. This article aims to examine the management of Choice Theory-based classrooms developed by William Glasser as a strategy to increase students' learning concentration in PAI lessons. The research method used is a literature study by analyzing secondary sources such as books, journals, and other academic documents. The results of the study show that classroom management according to Choice Theory emphasizes the fulfillment of five basic needs of students: survival, love and belonging, power, freedom, and fun. Fulfilling these needs creates a learning environment that is conducive, motivating, and fosters students' self-awareness. In addition, the WDEP (Want, Doing, Evaluation, Planning) approach in Choice Theory plays an important role in helping students develop self-awareness and responsibility for their learning process. By integrating these principles in classroom management, PAI teachers can transform into adaptive and empathetic facilitators in managing the diversity of character and needs of students.

Abstract

In the digital era, the utilization of technology in learning is an essential need to improve the educational quality. This study aims to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of the s.id website-based animated learning video “KhalifaToon” in supporting students’ understanding of caliph material in learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI) grade V in elementary school. The research method used is ADDIE, contains Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data were collected through media and material expert validation tests, as well as trials to students as users. The results showed that the animation learning video developed met the quality standards of interactive learning media with a high level of validity based on expert assessments and positive responses from students. The implementation of this media is proven to increase student involvement in learning and help concept understanding more effectively than conventional methods. Thus, the use of website-based interactive animation-based media in PAI learning is recommended as an innovative strategy to improve learning effectiveness.

Abstract

Among the problems of learning Islamic religious material is the low pedagogic competence of teachers, both related to learning planning and implementation. This problem is complained about in several schools, both public and private schools. In fact, in one school between subject teachers, there was an inequality of pedagogic competence. At MA Wahid Hasyim, there are Fiqh teachers who have pedagogic competence that exceeds that of other teachers. This is reflected in Fiqh learning which is attended by students who are very participatory with the application of Baamboozle media. This interest needs to be revealed through qualitative research by collecting data on interviews, observations, and documentation of Fiqh learning activities with Baamboozle media. There are three conclusions resulting from this study, namely: (1) The Learning Process which includes planning, implementation, and evaluation of the process can run well in the hands of innovative Fiqh teachers; (2) The impact of Baamboozle-mediated Fiqh learning can create active, interactive, participatory, competitive, and fun learning; and (3) Supporting factors for Fiqh learning with Baamboozle media can be carried out, namely adequate pedagogic competence of teachers, sufficient relevant facilities, and student enthusiasm.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the problem-based learning method in PAI learning on improving learning outcomes and learning motivation of students of SMK Ma'arif Walingoso Kajoran. This research uses an experimental method with a quasi experimental design approach. This research was conducted at SMK Ma'arif Walisongo Kajoran. The instruments used in this study were learning outcome scales and learning motivation. Data analysis techniques using Wilcoxon test and Mann Whitney test. Based on the results of the Wilcoxon test, it shows that problem-based learning (PBL) method has an effect on improving student learning outcomes in the experimental group and in the control group with lecture techniques there is no difference. While the results of the Wilcoxon test of learning motivation, there is a difference in learning motivation in the problem-based learning method and there is no difference in the lecture technique. Problem-based learning (PBL) method in PAI learning is effective in improving learning outcomes and learning motivation in students of SMK Ma'arif Walisongo Kajoran.

Abstract

Creating a disciplined school character is one of the key objectives of modern education, particularly at the junior high school level. This research is based on the importance of implementing worship habituation programs as a managerial strategy to shape student discipline at SMP Negeri 1 Banyumas. The main focus of this study is to describe and analyze the worship habituation program and its impact on students’ disciplinary character, as part of the educational management framework. The research methodology employed in this case is qualitative in nature. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted in stages, including data reduction, data presentation, and finally drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that a systematically implemented and well-integrated worship habituation program within school management can influence students' discipline character in aspects such as attendance, punctuality, obedience to rules, and personal responsibility. Therefore, this finding contributes to educational stakeholders in designing management strategies that emphasize the role of religious values in building student discipline.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of the use of social media by students in madrasas on tolerant character. This research was conducted using a quantitative approach with a descriptive research method. The population of this study is madrasah students in Kebumen Regency. They were selected using the Simple Random Sampling method so that the number of samples taken was 75 students. Data was collected using a questionnaire distributed to respondents via GoogleForm. The results of the study showed that the intensity of social media use by students in madrasas was very high, namely 89%. This has a big impact on the tolerant character of students in madrasas, as evidenced by several aspects, including the content criteria that students see when using social media are in the high category with a percentage of 80%. In addition, student involvement in accessing content containing cultural or religious diversity values is very high with a percentage of 86%. Students’ interactions with individuals from different backgrounds when using social media are also very high with a percentage of 88%. The influence of social media on students' way of thinking about categorical differences is very high with a percentage of 92% and the use of social media as a means of learning about the importance of tolerance is very high with a percentage of 88%.
