Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tahap keterampilan teknologi siswa berdasarkan perspektif siswa, membandingkan  keterampilan teknologi berdasarkan lokasi tempat tinggal siswa, selain itu juga mengkaji sumbangan proses pembelajaran IPA  terhadap keterampilan teknologi siswa.  Sejumlah 449 orang siswa telah memberi respons terhadap  instrumen penelitian.  Responden penelitian ditentukan secara proportional sampling mengikut zona di Sumatera Barat. Analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensi  (Ujian regresi berganda). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tahap keterampilan teknologi siswa berada pada tahap  tinggi berdasarkan tempat tinggal. Tiga dari variabel bebas yaitu proses pembelajaran IPA memberi sumbangan terhadap keterampilan teknologi siswa yaitu sebanyak  27.7 persen. Variabel tersebut adalah pembelajaran di laboratorium sebanyak 20.4 persen, pembelajaran IPA di kelas sebanyak 5.7 persen serta literasi IPA sebanyak 1.6 persen. Implikasi penelitian adalah ditujukan kepada pembelajaran di laboratorium dan pembelajaran IPA di kelas perlu rancangan yang dapat membangkitkan keterampilan teknologi disamping itu  literasi IPA  juga perlu dorongan  dari orang tua dan guru, sesuai dengan perkembangan akademik siswa. Abstract

The module is an independent learning package that includes a series of systematically designed learning experiences to help learners achieve learning goals. Therefore, the module must be organized in a creative, innovative manner, in accordance with the basic competencies and applicable curriculum, and the use of language is easy to understand by students understanding and can influence the mindset of students on learning materials. Rotational Dynamics is one of the sub-chapters on the subject of Curriculum Physics 2013 at SMA / MA level. In this Dynamics Rotation Material requires students to work hard in mastering the concept given. Therefore it is necessary a teaching materials in the form of modules that are effective in improving students critical thinking skills. The modules were developed using the Discovery Learning base. Students are given the opportunity to develop their creative ideas in solving the problem of rotational dynamics so that their critical thinking ability can develop. In this study, the preliminary research was conducted. The subjects of this study are the students of class XI MIA 2 and XI MIA 3 in MAN 2 Kediri, amounting to 78 students and 2 teachers. Preliminary research data obtained through questionnaire needs analysis for students and questionnaire needs analysis filled by teachers, as well as interviews conducted to confirm the questionnaire data needs analysis obtained. Based on preliminary research conducted on class XI students and teachers agreed to develop the learning module of Physics based on Discovery Learning as teaching material in learning.

Abstract

The results of the PISA and TIMSS studies show that student literacy in Indonesia is still low. Low literacy is caused by many factors, one of which is the learning process. The learning process in class must be really designed in the form of literacy learning. The government in overcoming this issue launched the School Literacy Movement (GLS) and Character Education Strengthening (PPK). GLS has three stages, namely habituation, development, and learning. PPK aims to develop student character where there are 5 main values of character, namely religious, nationalist, independent, mutual cooperation, and integrity. Based on this, it is necessary to integrate literacy learning in GLS and PPK. The purpose of the study was to know the implementation of literacy learning in GLS and PPK. This type of research is descriptive with a qualitative approach through FGD to Principals, Middle School Science Teachers, and Malang City Middle School MGMP administrators. Quality descriptive data analysis using the Milles and Huberman models. The results showed that the use of strategies and approaches to teaching and learning is still not effective in developing literacy, literacy has not been optimal in developing thinking skills, difficulties in integrating PPK, school literacy ecosystems have not fully developed a school literacy culture, the need for increased collaboration in the GLS program

Abstract

ABSTRAKPelajaran Bahasa Indonesia merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran yang sangat diperlukan karena siswa dapat berlatih dan mengembangkan kemampuannya untuk berkomunikasi dengan orang lain baik secara lisan maupun tulisan dalam berbagai kebutuhan hidup. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan para siswa kelas IV SDN Boyolali 9 dalam menulis narasi (cerita) melalui penerapan pendekatan proses.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (Classroorn, Action research) yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus meliputi identifikasi permasalahan yang ada di kelas, perencanaan tindakan berupa penyusunan langkah-langkah pembelajaran, pelaksanaan tindakan berupa log pembelajaran, observasi dan evaluasi, serta refleksi untuk tindakan berikutnya. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SDN 9 Boyolali sejumlah 20 siswa. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, penyebaran angket dan tes. Analisis data secara deskriptif kualitatif.Bertitik tolak dari tindakan yang telah dilakukan pada penelitian ini, maka upaya untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis cerita (narasi) bagi siswa kelas IV SDN Boyolali 9 dapat dilakukan dengan metode pendekatan proses yaitu tahap pra menulis, menulis draf, revisi, menyunting dan unjuk kera. Untuk mencapai hasil yang mendekati sempurna, hal tersebut dilakukan secara berulang-ulang. Pengamatan setiap tahap kegiatan sangat diperlukan untuk mengetahui tingkat keberhasilan dan penetapan rencana pada tahap berikutnya.Kata kunci : Keterampilan proses, narasi, bahasa Indonesia

Abstract

This research is a descriptive study that aimed to provide information of (1) percentage of students’misconceptions, not understanding the concept, and understanding the concept (2) factors causingmisconception (3) sub-concept with the highest misconception on concept of genetic substance using three tiertest. Population in this research is all student of class XII SMAN 2 Makassar, sample of research is student ofclass XII IPA 1 counted 35 people. The instrument used is three tier test which amounts to 25 items. Data wereanalyzed descriptively by using the category made by Pesman and Eryilmaz to determine students’understanding. Students were observed and interviewed to obtain data about factors that caused misconception.The result of data analysis of three tier test showed that 29.94% experienced misconception, 42.29% do notunderstand concept, and 27.77% understand concept. The highest percentage of students’ misconceptions isfound in the gene and allele sub concept by 57.15%. Factors that causing misconception are student that havewrong reasoning due to incomplete information, lack of interest in learning certain concept, the absence ofteacher confirmation after learning process, teacher that describing concept too fast, and text book that used inlearning process contain several misinformation.

Abstract

Wilayah pesisir merupakan wilayah yang paling rentan terhadap kerusakan ekologis. Salah satu jenis ekosistem yang rentan terhadap kerusakan tersebut adalah mangrove. Di Pesisir Surabaya, Jawa Timur, kawasan mangrove saat ini mengalami kerusakan yang parah sebagai akibat dari eksploitasi sumber  daya alam disekitar kawasan tersebut maupun adanya pembangunan fisik seperti wilayah perumahan yang tidak memerhatikan faktor kelestarian hutan mangrove. Dengan memanfaatkan data citra satelit ALOS maka luas lahan mangrove berserta tingkat kekritisan kawasan mangrove dapat dideteksi. Proses pengolahan citra ALOS menggunakan konsep penginderaan jauh dan sistem informasi geografis dimana inventarisasi kekritisan lahan mangrove mengacu kepada pedoman inventarisasi mangrove yang dikeluarkan oleh Departemen Kehutanan. Hasil pengolahan citra satelit ALOS menunjukkan tingkat kerusakan kawasan hutan mangrove mencapai 1071,77 hektar untuk level rusak dan 288,208 hektar untuk level sangat rusak sedangkan untuk level tidak rusak hanya mencapai 0,624 hektar dari total luas kawasan hutan mangrove yang mencapai 1360,604 hektar. Pengolahan kawasan mangrove melalui program rehabilitasi diharapkan dapat mengurangi tingkat kerusakan kawasan hutan mangrove. Kata Kunci: Mangrove, ALOS, Kekritisan Lahan

Abstract

Era globalisasi abad 21 ini menuntut sumber daya manusia berkualitas yang  mampu menguasai konsep-konsep dasar sains, matematika, rekayasa, dan teknologi agar dapat berpikir kritis  tentang dunia ini dan membuat keputusan cerdas dalam isu-isu pribadi dan kemasyarakatan. Untuk menerima tantangan tersebut pemahaman konsep yang benar dan berpikir kritis  terhadap suatu materi ajar sangat dibutuhkan, namun dalam mata kuliah botani tumbuhan rendah masih terdapat miskonsepsi  (kesalahan konsep), dan berakibat rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Abstract

Black Mildew attacks have been suspected to disturb the growth of Sandalwood (Santalum album) ex situ conservation in GunungKidul, as this disease can inhibit the process of photo synthesis. The origins of Sandalwood's population collected in 2005 are expected to have variety of resistance to the attack. Research has been undertaken to know the impact of black mildew on two observation period that is in rainy season and dry season. The data were collected with 100% sampling intensity in 4 population of sandalwood from 4 replications. The results showed that the intensity of black mildew in the rainy season ranged from 59.34% (Timor Tengah Utara) to 87.86% (Sumba). In June when the rainfall started to decrease, the intensity of black mildew attacks ranged between 51.34% (Belu) to 72.83% (Sumba). The Sumba population has the lowest resistance compared to Belu and Rote populations. The variation in the severity of black mildew is not related to the origin of the population, but due to leaf age.

Abstract

MerbabuMountain National Park (MMNP) as one of the conservation areas has an ecologically important role besides providing economic and social benefits to the surrounding community. The management of the MMNP area in order to be effective requires participation and the role of related parties. This study aims to formulate an integrated conservation strategy among related institutions to support the preservation of the MMNP area in Candisari Village, Gladagsari District, Boyolali Regency. This qualitative research uses the method of observation, interviews and literature studies which is then carried out processing data through SWOT analysis. The results of the research that show the role of related institutionsrequires synergistic collaboration. Collaborative strategy of inter-institutional roles that can support the preservation of MMNP area, that are1) Collaboration between stakeholders in managing the potential of both water resources and tourism, 2)Inventory of biodiversity potential inside and outside the region and the preparation of natural tourism site design in the utilization zone involving the community, 3) Synergizing regional development policies and programs in the MMNP buffer zone with the management of the MMNP area, 4)Develop a multi-stakeholder program for community empowerment around the MMNP area, 5) Encourage multi-stakeholder cooperation through multisectoral forums to support the management of the MMNP, 6) Management of tourism potential within and outside community-based areas in a synergistic manner, 7) Increased environmental awareness across the Gunung Merbabu region across sectors, 8) Collaborative mitigation of disasters or disasters in the MMNP region.

Abstract

Abstrak Purpose of this research is to improvement biological learning process at human nervous and sense system materials by using audiovisual media and Snowball Throwing method on the eleventh years of natural science 2 in Batik I Surakarta senior high school the year educated of 2007/2008. Kind of this research is Classroom Action Research (PTK), which is conducted in 2 cycles. The action research includes: identifying, planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. Subject of this research is student of eleventh years of natural science 2 in Batik I Surakarta senior hight school the year educated of 2007/2008. Technique collecting data are observational technique by using observational document, questionnaire, interview, document analysis, and test. Technique analyzing data in this research use descriptive qualitative method. The result of the research show that utilization of audiovisual media and Snowball Throwing method can improvement biological learning process which is characterized with the increases of student's result. The result of observatioru student's learning process is increases of active students from first cycle to second cycle are 16,275%. The result of average student's cognitive study increases 10,5 from first cycle to second cycle. The result of student's affective study increases 5,58% from first cycle to second cycle. Based on the research can be concluded that: utilization of audiovisual media and Snowball Throwing rnethod can improvement biological learning process on the eleventh years of natural science 2 in Batik I Surakarta senior high school the year educated of 2007/2008.
