Abstract

Due to Covid-19 pandemic, sales and the number of visitors to Taco Casa Bali have decreased. In this changing situation, repurchase intention is very important for the continuity of the culinary business, so it is important to find out the factors that influence it. The research aimed to determine the effect of product quality and price in influencing customer satisfaction on customer repurchase intentions at Taco Casa Bali during Covid-19 pandemic. Although variables in this research are not new, there is still inconsistency in the findings and also this paper factors in Covid-19 pandemic situation. Sample size consisted of 97 respondents. Using Smart-PLS version 3.9, results showed that product quality does not affect the customer repurchase intention. Price and customer satisfaction affect the customer repurchase intention. Product quality and price affect customer satisfaction. Customer satisfaction does not act as a mediator for product quality and price on customer repurchase intention. Implications of practice for this paper are discussed in the end of section.

Abstract

The potential development of the beauty product industry in Indonesia is considered very attractive. The beauty products industry and trade in Indonesia is projected to increase by USD 7.5 billion with a growth of 6.5% annually for the next five years. The huge potential in the cosmetics retail business is considered to trigger the emergence of competition, especially in the supply chain system which has implications for product affordability to consumers. So that this becomes an interesting condition for research to be carried out as well as efforts to provide certain improvement treatments so that there is an improvement in the flow of the supply system in the object company. In this study, 3 layers of the research process will be carried out, namely observing and describing the existing supply chain system in the research object company, improving and treating the supply chain system using a lean six sigma model with stages of define, measure, analyze, improve, control (DMAIC), and make observations as well as measure the results of improvement using 4 (four) balanced scoredcard performance indicators. Data mining using observation methods, interviews, scoring key performance indicators in each perspective, and study of company operational administration data. Based on the results of study, the supply system based on 4 balanced scoredcard indicators still has shortcomings, namely in the value of debt-to-equity ratio, quantity and customer quality, internal business organization, and personnel accountability. The recommendation is that this study can have an improving effect on the object company and also be a reference for other companies specifically with the same segmentation.

Abstract

This meta-analysis aims to analyze the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on regional financial performance in Indonesia. The research method used by reviewing, summarizing data and analyzing some research results that have been published on google scholar and the ministry of education and culture's Sinta page with the keywords Covid-19 and regional financial performance. From the 45 articles collected, 18 articles were selected for further analysis according to this research topic. This type of research is a meta-analysis research where the steps taken include: data collection, coding, calculation of improving problem-solving ability and identifying the presence or absence of average differences, and drawing conclusions. Our findings show that Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia has been shown to have an impact on regional financial performance in Indonesia. Although there are several provinces in Indonesia, it does not have an impact on its financial performance. Financial performance is measured from the regional financial independence, the ratio of local tax to paid allowance, the ratio of operational solvency of local governments, the ratio of pad effectiveness and capital expenditure. There is a budget policy from the central government to focus on handling the Covid-19 pandemic so that it impacts regional financial performance. Future research contributions are expected to be an opportunity for the development of research methodologies, especially in the aspect of data collection through questionnaires and data analysis techniques using PLS (Partial Least Square), Data Panel Analysis and Symbolic Interaction methods.

Abstract

This study aims to see the growth performance of the halal industry through the perspective of business actors within the framework of tolerance and the creative economy. The city of Salatiga was chosen as the research location because it has the achievement of being the most tolerant city in Indonesia; this is a new reference base for developing the halal industry from a sociocultural perspective. Through qualitative research with a case study approach, the key person for this research is the Head of the MSMEs Division of the Cooperatives and MSMEs Office of Salatiga City and 22 MSMEs entrepreneurs who will receive free halal certification services in 2021. The data obtained in the form of primary data are analysed using the Atlas t.i application. The data is then validated through triangulation of data with secondary data. The research instrument was developed from the halal balanced scorecard theory, which has four (4) perspectives: learning and growth, internal business, customer, and financial. The results of the data analysis show that government support significantly impacts the process of growing MSMEs awareness to learn to provide halal guarantees for the products they produce. This affects their internal business, so they always evaluate critical points in their production activities. This is done because running a business on a consumer-oriented basis so that halal needs must be met to gain consumer confidence in the end financially, their income has increased. Based on these results, this research can be a recommendation for BI, KNEKS, and the Ministry of Cooperatives and MSMEs to determine the policy direction for developing MSME-based halal industries based on the approach of social and cultural values that still need to be prioritised.
