Abstract

The number of freelancers and start-up companies in Indonesia has increased from year to year, which has led to the emergence of new work styles (new work orders), where this work style has characteristics that are more free, flexible and independent, even the problems that arise are different from the work model in general. This needs to be supported by the availability of a place to work, one of the alternative places to work that is currently developing is coworking space. Even though the development of coworking spaces continues to increase, community participation in coworking spaces in the city of Medan is not yet optimal, and people even tend to equate cafés and coffee shops as coworking spaces. Research was carried out on CoHive at Clapham, Cohub Indonesia, Cradle Event & Coworking Space, SAGA Creative Hub, and Digital Innovation Lounge Medan. The analytical method used in the research is a Likert scale to measuring the opinions and perceptions of a person or group and Multiple Linear Regression to look at the factors that influence person or group using co working space. The reseach results show that Physical environmental factors that influence the productivity of human resources working in Co Working Space are lighting, noise and cleanliness. Non-physical environmental factors that influence the productivity of human resources working in Co Working Space are attention and support from leaders, collaboration between groups, and communication. SOAR analysis in determining strategies for increasing human resource productivity using co-working space, namely: S-A Strategy: Modern and comfortable facilities, location accessibility, flexibility in work space choices, and an atmosphere that supports creativity as well as better collaboration, opportunities to develop professional networks, or increase work focus. O-A Strategy: There are networking events, workshops or seminars on relevant topics, or collaborative projects with companies or other professionals in the co-working space and users can improve specific skills, expand their business network, or achieve a better balance between personal and professional life. S-R Strategy: Users can increase work productivity, innovation in business ideas, or increase job satisfaction and have the opportunity to increase their income, work efficiency, product or service quality. O-R Strategy: Users get access to business acceleration programs, funding, or joint projects with large companies that partner with the co-working space and users have the opportunity to increase market share

Abstract

The issue discussed is whether there is still a discrepancy or divergence between problematic financing (NPF) and profitability (ROA) from the general trend. On the other hand, Non-Performing Financing (NPF) and Return on Assets (ROA) interact in ways that significantly affect the financial performance of banks. This indicates the complexity of this relationship, suggesting a simultaneous relationship between NPF and ROA. The aim of this research is to understand the simultaneous relationship between profitability and problematic financing of Islamic banks in Indonesia. This study uses the Two Stage Least Square (TSLS) method, with financial ratio data from Islamic banks in Indonesia from 2010 to 2023, using quarterly data. Based on the simultaneous test results, there is a simultaneous relationship between the profitability model (ROA) and problematic financing (NPF). In the profitability equation model (ROA), BOPO affects the profitability of Islamic banks, while problematic financing and CAR do not have an effect. However, in the problematic financing equation model (NPF), profitability and CAR affect problematic financing in Islamic banks in Indonesia, whereas FDR does not affect operational cost reduction targets. Moreover, policies that emphasize increasing profitability through product diversification and capital enhancement (CAR) will help reduce the risk of problematic financing through issuing new shares or reinvesting profits, while product diversification can help increase revenue and reduce the risk of uncollectible financing.

The proposal aims to integrate IoT to improve operational efficiency and user experience in events. The study begins by describing the company profile and conducting an in-depth analysis of the EO market and the challenges faced in adopting IoT technology. The business plan includes comprehensive strategies for team management, operational management, and risk mitigation required to ensure successful implementation. The results show that IoT implementation can automate EO's operational processes, increase event interactivity, and generate higher satisfaction for users. Using SWOT analysis and Blue Ocean Strategy methods, this study identifies that "Royal Global Production" has the potential to become a market leader by effectively utilizing this advanced technology. In the context of the competitive EO market, the study also revealed a high demand for services that incorporate IoT, particularly for large and diverse events in Indonesia. As such, this business plan not only provides guidance for the company's development, but also confirms that the implementation of IoT is a strategic investment for long-term growth in this dynamic industry.

Abstract

India's economic and political engagement with the Asia Pacific region has evolved to encompass a wide range of cooperative efforts beyond its immediate continental neighborhood. This paper examines India's robust engagement in the Asia Pacific, underscoring its commitment to inclusive growth, sustainable development, and regional prosperity through initiatives like the Pacific Community Initiative of the East (PCIOR). The study highlights India's strategic integration, addressing historical ties with Southeast Asia and East Asia, and the multifaceted nature of its engagement, which spans trade, investment, security, and cultural diplomacy. It also delves into India's Indo-Pacific policy, rooted in its historical maritime role, emphasizing six strategic tenets: maritime security, inclusive governance, economic integration, strategic partnerships, sustainable development, and cultural diplomacy. Furthermore, the paper identifies challenges and opportunities in implementing India's Indo-Pacific strategy, including resource allocation, diplomatic maneuvering, and the need for technological advancement. The analysis underscores the potential for India to leverage these challenges to strengthen its regional influence and contribute to a peaceful, stable, and prosperous Indo-Pacific region.

Abstract

Southern African countries increasingly recognize that long-term growth and productivity challenges are tightly related to the capacity to innovate and to introduce new products, processes, services, and organizational routines in policy practice. This research assessed policy capacity for innovative governance as practices that aim to satisfy socio-political transformations. It is based on original data collected through a comprehensive survey of 30 purposively selected senior policy managers working within the region as provincial and national policy managers. These officials were strategically situated to assess and reflect upon the capacity for innovative governance in their areas of jurisdiction. The findings appear to show that Southern African countries are affected by the government overload challenges, bureaucracy bashing, public skepticism about the role of government; deplorable state of support for public policy infrastructure, and others. The research thus concludes that innovative approaches are needed to satisfy socio-political transformations. The research recommends rethinking the economic, social, and environmental sustainability of current policy and practice models and implores countries to embrace a collective reflection on finding new sources of growth for supporting a transition towards stronger, cleaner, and fairer economies.

Abstract

Consumer purchasing decisions are critical for businesses, necessitating the implementation of effective strategies to attract attention and secure buyers for their products. Factors influencing these decisions include social media, branding strategies, and the quality of e-services, all of which must be optimally managed to achieve the best results. In this study, a quantitative research method was employed. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Square (PLS), a variance-based approach to Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The bootstrapping analysis of all variables revealed P-values below 0.005, indicating that all hypotheses were accepted. Consequently, the analysis demonstrates that social media, branding strategy, and e-service quality significantly impact purchase decisions through digital literacy.

Humans as social creatures certainly need interaction with other humans, in this modern era there are many ways for humans to communicate with each other, one of which is using smartphones. In this study, we will discuss how consumer behavior in making purchases of Oppo smartphones. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method. The partial least square (PLS) data analysis method is used in this investigation. PLS is a structural equation modeling (SEM) model that uses a component-based or variance-based approach. From the results of the Bootstrapping analysis, all hypotheses were obtained with a P-value below 0.05 which means that all hypotheses were accepted. The results of this analysis also show that the Brad Image and Word of Mouth variables are able to mediate the influence of product quality on purchase decisions.
