Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic that occurred in the world, especially in Indonesia, had an impact on all community activities, including in the field of education. To reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the government issued a policy to implement distance learning methods or online learning methods that apply to all levels of education including elementary schools. Online learning methods, especially for elementary schools, require the active role of parents. This of course adds to the burden of parental work which can trigger an increase in stress. Therefore, this study aimed to determine the relationship between online learning methods and the stress level of parents of elementary school students. The design of this study was quantitative with a cross-sectional approach. The sample is 59 parents of school students who take online learning. Questionnaires were used to measure online learning methods and PSS (Perceived Stress Scale) to measure stress on parents. The statistical test used Rank Spearmen Correlation with an error rate of 5%. The results showed that most parents stated that the online learning method was effective, and most experienced moderate stress, and there was a positive and significant relationship between online learning methods and the stress level of parents of elementary school students (correlation coefficient 0.658, p value 0.001) . Thus, in the implementation of online learning, parents are expected to be better prepared to play a positive and dynamic role in their learning so that the stress that occurs can be prevented.

Abstract

Covid-19 has made many changes, especially in the education sector, which has shifted the learning process which is generally carried out face-to-face to e-learning. This system change has an impact on the psychosocial conditions of students who are not familiar with this method, one of which is the increase in student stress. This is caused by various factors, including an understanding of the material provided, learning boredom that arises, and so on. This study aims to determine the level of understanding of the material and the saturation of learning with the stress level of nursing students at Bale Bandung University (UNIBBA) in e-learning during the covid-19 pandemic. The research design used a cross-sectional with a correlational approach. A sample of 86 nursing students aged 17-26 years was taken by purposive sampling. The research instrument used a questionnaire sheet via a google form and a statistical test with Spearman Correlation Rank at an error rate of 5%. The results showed that most of them experienced mild stress (62.8%), almost all students were quite good at understanding the material (76.7%), and almost all of them experienced learning boredom at a moderate level (76.7%). From the results of the Spearman Rank test, it was concluded that there was a relationship between understanding of the material and stress levels (correlation coefficient -0.221, p-value 0.041), and there was a relationship between learning saturation and student stress levels (correlation coefficient 0.353 and p-value 0.001). Thus, the researcher advises students to continue to increase coping stress, especially in the e-learning learning process by controlling the emotional feelings that arise due to the stressful situation.

Abstract

Blood pressure is the pressure at which blood circulates in the blood vessels. Changes in blood pressure are influenced by various factors, one of which is stress conditions. In general, stress can stimulate an increase in blood pressure, which can be at risk for illness, especially in the elderly. Therefore, this study aims to determine the relationship between stress and blood pressure in the elderly >60 years during the Covid-19 pandemic in the Pameungpeuk Community Health Center, Bandung Regency. Correlational analytic research method with cross-sectional approach. Samples of 30 elderly people over 60 years were taken by incidental sampling technique. The research instrument used a data questionnaire sheet and the results of blood pressure checks on the respondents. Spearman rank is used for statistical tests with an error rate of 5%. The results showed that most of the respondents' stress levels experienced moderate stress (46.7%) and almost all of the respondents' blood pressure increased or hypertension (63.3%). Spearman Rank test proved that there is a positive and significant relationship between stress and blood pressure in the elderly > 60 years (significant value = 0.023 and correlation coefficient 0.414). Thus, especially for the elderly to be able to manage stress well so that an increase in blood pressure can be prevented, such as by maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Abstract

Hormonal changes and hemodynamic changes in pregnancy cause an increase in blood volume and water retention which causes a thickening of the cornea of ??the eye and affects blood flow in the eye. This condition is thought to trigger temporary myopia or worsen myopia that occurred before pregnancy. This will have an impact on the choice of delivery method because pushing in the second stage of labor can increase the risk of retinal detachment. The aim of the study was to determine the method of delivery in patients with myopia, using a meta-analysis. The results showed that obstetrics and gynecology specialists, as well as ophthalmologists, recommended instrumental delivery or cesarean section for women with myopia citing concerns that vaginal delivery would increase the risk of detachment. In addition, the impact of labor on the ocular system was found to be not so significant. While the method of delivery in women with myopia, it was found that most of the vaginal deliveries were spot-on.

Abstract

Stunting is a developmental disorder in children caused by poor nutrition, repeated infections, and inadequate psychosocial stimulation. There are several factors that can cause stunting in children under five, such as family and socioeconomic characteristics. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence the incidence of stunting in children aged 24-59 months. This research is quantitative research with a cross-sectional study design. The total population is 3,747 households, while the total sample is 110 which is divided proportionally from 7 villages (Sucos) which are included in the working area of the centro saude internamento Ermera. Based on the results of existing research, shows that there is an influence between children's eating patterns (? = 0.24), family income (? = 0.034), children's health care patterns (? = 0.037), and food consumption patterns in the family (? = 0.024) to the incidence of stunting. Meanwhile, family size (?=0.392), mother's education (?=0.360), and health condition (?=0.419). There is no effect on the incidence of Stunting. Interventions are needed to focus on several factors that trigger stunting problems in children under five so that they do not interfere with the growth and development process of children under five. It also requires high awareness through outreach activities to the community on the importance of child nutrition parenting and food consumption patterns in the family.

Abstract

Systemic anaphylactic reactions are a rare condition with a prevalence of around 1.6-5.1%. Based on the latest epidemiological data the ratio of fatal anaphylactic reactions is approximately 1%. To diagnose anaphylaxis, sampson criteria are used. Anaphylaxis is a severe, potentially fatal, systemic allergic reaction that occurs suddenly after contact with an allergycausing substance. Anaphylaxis, it was acknowledged that no criteria will provide 100% sensitivity and specificity, but it was believed that the criteria proposed are likely to capture more than 95% of cases of anaphylaxis. Anaphylaxis itself occurs in 15 of 10,000 patients and is characterized by acute reactions, with diffuse erythema, pruritus, urticaria, angioedema, bronchospasm, laryngeal edema, hyperperistalsis, hypertension, cardiac arrhythmias, hemolytic anemia. Most symptoms develop quickly (five to 30) minutes after exposure. A 44-year-old with an anaphylactic reaction has been reported. The administration of epinephrine 0.3-0.5 cc deltoid IM and general management of anaphylaxis in the initial acute condition of anaphylactic reaction is given to the patient.

Abstract

One of the efforts to reduce the risk of infant mortality is through the provision of Exclusive Breastfeeding (ASI) from the beginning of birth and then continued with breastfeeding. The practice of giving solid complementary foods can inhibit the growth of newborns. The purpose of this research is to describe and analyze the factors that influence the mother's behavior in exclusive breastfeeding for infants aged 0-6 months in Bobonaro District, Timor Leste. The research design is descriptive analytic with a cross-sectional approach. The research sample was 84 mothers giving birth using simple probabilities. Data were analyzed using logistic regression test (binary logistic). The results showed that 67.9% of mothers who gave exclusive breastfeeding to infants aged 0-6 months in Bobonaro District. Mother's education factor, mother's knowledge, mother's attitude, support for health services, support from mother's family and exposure to information have an influence on mother's behavior in breastfeeding, each of which has a p value > 0.05. Mother's socio-cultural factors and distance of health services did not have an influence on the behavior of mothers in giving exclusive breastfeeding, each obtained a p value <0.05. Health workers as supporters of the success of exclusive breastfeeding, should increase health education programs about exclusive breastfeeding to mothers and their families in detail and continuously, so that mothers giving birth and their families can know and understand the importance of breastfeeding, and can change the behavior of mothers giving birth and their families.
