Abstract

ABSTRACT This study examines the representation of women in shampoo advertisements through a semiotic analysis of three popular brands: Sunsilk, Clear, and Pantene. Drawing on Roland Barthes’ framework, the research analyzes denotative, connotative, and ideological meanings embedded in the visual and verbal elements of the advertisements. The findings show that all three brands consistently portray women with idealized hair, which is healthy, shiny, strong, and problem-free, positioning hair as a key marker of femininity, confidence, and social value. While Sunsilk emphasizes lifestyle and self-expression, Clear highlights strength and resilience, and Pantene promotes efficiency through an all-in-one solution, these differences operate within the same ideological framework. The advertisements reproduce dominant beauty myths that associate women’s self-worth with physical appearance and continuous body management. Although some narratives adopt the language of empowerment or practicality, such strategies remain embedded within commercial and consumerist logics. This study argues that shampoo advertisements function not only as promotional media but also as ideological texts that normalize narrow beauty standards and present product consumption as the primary pathway to confidence, empowerment, and social acceptance. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini mengkaji representasi perempuan dalam iklan sampo melalui analisis semiotika terhadap tiga merek populer: Sunsilk, Clear, dan Pantene. Dengan menggunakan kerangka Roland Barthes, penelitian ini menganalisis makna denotatif, konotatif, dan ideologis yang terkandung dalam elemen visual dan verbal iklan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketiga merek tersebut secara konsisten menampilkan perempuan dengan rambut yang diidealkan, yaitu sehat, berkilau, kuat, dan bebas masalah, serta memposisikan rambut sebagai penanda utama feminitas, kepercayaan diri, dan nilai sosial. Meskipun Sunsilk menekankan gaya hidup dan ekspresi diri, Clear menonjolkan kekuatan dan ketahanan, serta Pantene mempromosikan efisiensi melalui solusi all-in-one, perbedaan tersebut tetap beroperasi dalam kerangka ideologis yang sama. Iklan-iklan tersebut mereproduksi mitos kecantikan dominan yang mengaitkan harga diri perempuan dengan penampilan fisik dan pengelolaan tubuh secara terus-menerus. Meskipun beberapa narasi mengadopsi bahasa pemberdayaan atau kepraktisan, strategi tersebut tetap tertanam dalam logika komersial dan konsumerisme. Penelitian ini berpendapat bahwa iklan sampo tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai media promosi, tetapi juga sebagai teks ideologis yang menormalisasi standar kecantikan yang sempit dan menghadirkan konsumsi produk sebagai jalan utama menuju kepercayaan diri, pemberdayaan, dan penerimaan sosial.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Tahsin IWR (Ilman wa Ruhan) method in Qur'an learning at SMPIT Anak Sholeh Mataram. The study used a case study. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using an interactive model that includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the implementation of the Tahsin IWR method was carried out through four main stages, namely opening, core activities, evaluation, and closing. This method integrates the scientific and spiritual dimensions in Qur'an learning. Learning takes place actively through direct practice of reading the Qur'an with teacher guidance. Evaluation is carried out continuously to correct student reading errors. The successful implementation of this method is supported by teacher competence, the availability of learning modules, a religious school environment, and student learning motivation. However, there are several obstacles, namely differences in student reading abilities, limited learning time, and lack of reading practice outside the classroom. This study concludes that the Tahsin IWR method is effective in improving Qur'an reading skills while shaping students' religious character. Therefore, this method is worthy of being developed as a Qur'an learning model in Islamic educational institutions. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi metode Tahsin IWR (Ilman wa Ruhan) dalam pembelajaran Al-Qur’an di SMPIT Anak Sholeh Mataram. Penelitian menggunakan study kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi metode Tahsin IWR dilaksanakan melalui empat tahapan utama, yaitu pembukaan, kegiatan inti, evaluasi, dan penutup. Metode ini mengintegrasikan dimensi keilmuan dan spiritual dalam pembelajaran Al-Qur’an. Pembelajaran berlangsung secara aktif melalui praktik langsung membaca Al-Qur’an dengan bimbingan guru. Evaluasi dilakukan secara berkelanjutan untuk memperbaiki kesalahan bacaan siswa. Keberhasilan implementasi metode ini didukung oleh kompetensi guru, ketersediaan modul pembelajaran, lingkungan sekolah yang religius, dan motivasi belajar siswa. Namun, terdapat beberapa kendala, yaitu perbedaan kemampuan membaca siswa, keterbatasan waktu pembelajaran, dan kurangnya latihan membaca di luar kelas. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa metode Tahsin IWR efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an sekaligus membentuk karakter religius peserta didik. Oleh karena itu, metode ini layak dikembangkan sebagai model pembelajaran Al-Qur’an di lembaga pendidikan Islam.

Abstract

Agrarian reform extends beyond land redistribution to include access reform aimed at enhancing the productivity of small and medium enterprises (SMEs). This study examines the role of access reform in improving SME productivity using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The review follows the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) framework, covering identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion stages. A literature search across Google Scholar, Scopus, and SINTA databases for the 2019–2025 period initially identified 54 articles, of which 25 met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed. The synthesis reveals that access reform contributes to SME productivity through improved financing access, capacity building, and market expansion. However, its effectiveness depends on policy integration, institutional capacity, and alignment with local conditions. Key challenges include weak coordination, regulatory inconsistencies, and limited adoption of digital technologies. These findings indicate that access reform is a central determinant of agrarian reform outcomes in economic terms. Therefore, integrated and context-sensitive policies are required to support sustainable SME productivity growth. ABSTRAKReforma agraria tidak hanya berfokus pada redistribusi tanah, tetapi juga pada penataan akses guna meningkatkan produktivitas usaha kecil dan menengah (UKM). Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji peran penataan akses dalam mendorong produktivitas UKM melalui pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Proses analisis mengikuti tahapan Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA), mulai dari identifikasi hingga inklusi studi. Penelusuran literatur pada Google Scholar, Scopus, dan SINTA periode 2019–2025 menghasilkan 54 artikel, yang kemudian diseleksi menjadi 25 artikel yang relevan dan memenuhi kriteria. Hasil sintesis menunjukkan bahwa penataan akses berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan produktivitas UKM melalui akses pembiayaan, penguatan kapasitas usaha, serta perluasan pasar. Namun, efektivitasnya sangat ditentukan oleh integrasi kebijakan, kapasitas kelembagaan, dan kesesuaian dengan kondisi lokal. Hambatan utama meliputi lemahnya koordinasi, ketidaksinkronan regulasi, dan rendahnya pemanfaatan teknologi. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa penataan akses merupakan faktor kunci dalam keberhasilan reforma agraria berbasis ekonomi. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan kebijakan yang terintegrasi dan kontekstual untuk mendorong peningkatan produktivitas UKM secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Early childhood ethical values are a fundamental aspect of moral and socio-emotional development that forms the foundation of children's character for the future. However, the suboptimal formation of ethical values observed in several early childhood education institutions indicates the need for innovative and supportive learning strategies, one of which is through the utilization of digital-based learning media. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the use of digital-based learning media and the development of ethical values in early childhood. The research employed a quantitative correlational approach. Data were collected using two instruments: a questionnaire measuring the use of digital-based learning media and an instrument assessing children's ethical values, both completed by teachers as evaluators. Teachers assessed children's ethical behavior based on their observations during digital media-based learning activities. The sample consisted of 23 teachers (35% of the total teacher population) and 95 children aged 4–5 years (10% of the total student population) in Gowa Regency, selected through simple random sampling. Data were analyzed using Pearson's correlation test with the assistance of SPSS version 24. The results revealed a very strong and significant relationship between the use of digital-based learning media and the development of children's ethical values (r = 0.872; p < 0.0001). ABSTRAK Nilai etika anak usia dini merupakan aspek mendasar dalam perkembangan moral dan sosial emosional yang menjadi pondasi karakter anak di masa depan. Namun, pembentukan nilai etika yang belum optimal di beberapa lembaga PAUD menunjukkan perlunya strategi pembelajaran yang inovatif dan mendukung, salah satunya melalui pemanfaatan media pembelajaran berbasis digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara pemanfaatan media pembelajaran berbasis digital dengan perkembangan nilai etika anak usia dini. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Data dikumpulkan melalui dua instrumen, yaitu kuesioner pemanfaatan media pembelajaran berbasis digital dan instrumen nilai etika anak yang diisi oleh guru sebagai penilai. Guru menilai perilaku nilai etika anak berdasarkan pengamatan selama kegiatan pembelajaran menggunakan media digital berlangsung. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas 23 guru (35% dari total populasi guru) dan 95 anak usia 4-5 tahun (10% dari total populasi peserta didik) di Kabupaten Gowa yang dipilih secara acak. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson degan bantuan SPSS versi 24. Hasil menunjukkann adanya hubungan yang sangat kuat dan signifikan antara pemanfaatan media pembelajaran berbasis digital dan perkembangan nilai etika anak (r= 0,872; p < 0,0001).

Abstract

This study presents a systematic literature review on artificial intelligence and digital innovation in mathematics education for critical thinking. The review aimed to identify research trends, forms of implementation, major findings, and research gaps in the literature. The study employed a Systematic Literature Review design guided by the PRISMA framework. Data were collected from the Scopus database. The initial search yielded several hundred records, which were filtered based on publication years 2020–2025, English language, open access status, subject area Mathematics, and source type Journal. After the filtering and screening process, 25 articles were selected for the final synthesis. The findings show that the literature on critical thinking in mathematics education is broader than the literature directly addressing artificial intelligence. Most studies focused on pedagogical approaches such as inquiry-based learning, realistic mathematics education, proof, problem solving, and computational thinking, while only a limited number of studies explicitly examined AI or generative AI in mathematics education. The review indicates that artificial intelligence and digital innovation have strong potential to support critical thinking through interactive learning environments, AI-assisted problem solving, and digitally mediated instruction. However, their contribution depends heavily on pedagogical design, teacher mediation, and the extent to which technology supports genuine mathematical reasoning. The review concludes that the integration of artificial intelligence in mathematics education remains an emerging field and requires stronger empirical evidence, clearer conceptualization, and more context-sensitive implementation to enhance critical thinking effectively.

Abstract

Critical thinking is an essential skill that needs to be developed from the elementary school level, particularly in mathematics learning. This study aims to describe the critical thinking experiences of elementary school students in solving three-digit arithmetic operations through a descriptive phenomenological approach. The phenomenological approach was employed to understand the meaning of students' lived experiences in thinking and solving mathematical problems. Data were collected through a mathematical critical thinking test and analyzed using phenomenological reduction, description of experiential essence, and interpretation of meaning. The results indicate that students demonstrated various forms of critical thinking, including understanding arithmetic operations, performing logical reasoning, and evaluating correctness through mathematical justification. However, some students still exhibited intuitive reasoning or reasoning based on non-mathematical contexts. This study concludes that reflective awareness and the ability to articulate mathematical reasoning are central to critical thinking among elementary school students. These findings suggest that mathematics learning in elementary schools should be redirected from procedural approaches toward reflective practices that provide students with opportunities to express, question, and evaluate their reasoning meaningfully. ABSTRAK Berpikir kritis merupakan kemampuan esensial yang perlu dikembangkan sejak jenjang sekolah dasar, khususnya dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengalaman berpikir kritis siswa sekolah dasar dalam menyelesaikan operasi aritmetika tiga digit melalui pendekatan fenomenologi deskriptif. Pendekatan fenomenologi digunakan untuk memahami makna pengalaman hidup siswa dalam berpikir dan memecahkan masalah matematika. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes berpikir kritis matematis dan dianalisis menggunakan reduksi fenomenologis, deskripsi esensi pengalaman, serta interpretasi makna. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa mengalami berbagai bentuk berpikir kritis, meliputi pemahaman operasi aritmetika, penalaran logis, serta evaluasi kebenaran dengan justifikasi matematis. Namun, sebagian siswa masih menunjukkan penalaran yang bersifat intuitif atau berbasis konteks non-matematis. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kesadaran reflektif dan kemampuan mengartikulasikan penalaran matematis merupakan inti dari berpikir kritis siswa sekolah dasar. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar perlu diarahkan dari pendekatan prosedural menuju praktik reflektif yang memberikan ruang bagi siswa untuk mengungkapkan, mempertanyakan, dan mengevaluasi penalarannya secara bermakna.

Abstract

Individuals within the 18–22 age group are generally undergoing the late adolescent developmental stage, a period characterized by various demands for social adjustment, including within student organizational settings. In this context, effective communication skills constitute one of the essential competencies that support successful collaboration among members and the overall achievement of organizational goals. Among the factors presumed to influence such skills, interpersonal mindfulness defined as a state of full awareness and presence during interactions with others is considered to play a significant role. This study was designed to examine the extent of the relationship between interpersonal mindfulness and effective communication skills among individuals occupying core positions in student organizations. Methodologically, the study employed a quantitative approach with a correlational design. Data were collected through the distribution of online questionnaires to 37 respondents using the Interpersonal Mindfulness Scale (IMS) and an effective communication measurement instrument. Given that the data distribution did not meet the assumption of normality, statistical analysis was conducted using Spearman’s rho test. The findings revealed a positive and significant relationship between the two variables (r = 0.553; p < 0.001). This indicates that higher levels of interpersonal mindfulness are associated with better effective communication skills. These findings carry practical implications by emphasizing the importance of developing interpersonal mindfulness through structured training programs as a concrete effort to enhance the quality of communication within student organizations. ABSTRAK Individu yang berada pada kelompok usia 18–22 tahun tengah menjalani fase akhir masa remaja, suatu periode yang diwarnai oleh berbagai tuntutan dalam menyesuaikan diri secara sosial, tak terkecuali di lingkungan organisasi kemahasiswaan. Dalam konteks tersebut, kemampuan berkomunikasi secara efektif menjadi salah satu kompetensi krusial yang menopang keberhasilan kolaborasi antar anggota maupun ketercapaian tujuan organisasi secara keseluruhan. Di antara sejumlah faktor yang diperkirakan turut memengaruhi kemampuan tersebut, interpersonal mindfulness yakni kondisi kesadaran yang hadir secara penuh saat berinteraksi dengan orang lain dianggap memiliki peranan yang cukup signifikan. Studi ini dirancang untuk menelaah sejauh mana keterkaitan antara interpersonal mindfulness dan keterampilan komunikasi efektif pada individu yang menduduki posisi inti dalam organisasi kemahasiswaan. Secara metodologis, penelitian ini mengadopsi pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional, di mana pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner daring kepada 37 responden dengan memanfaatkan Interpersonal Mindfulness Scale (IMS) serta instrumen pengukur komunikasi efektif. Mengingat distribusi data yang tidak memenuhi asumsi normalitas, analisis statistik dilakukan menggunakan uji Spearman's rho. Hasil yang diperoleh mengindikasikan adanya hubungan yang positif sekaligus signifikan antara kedua variabel tersebut (r = 0,553; p < 0,001). Artinya, peningkatan pada tingkat interpersonal mindfulness seseorang sejalan dengan semakin baiknya kualitas komunikasi efektif yang dimilikinya. Temuan ini membawa implikasi praktis yang menegaskan urgensi pengembangan interpersonal mindfulness melalui program pelatihan yang terstruktur, sebagai upaya nyata dalam meningkatkan mutu komunikasi di lingkup organisasi kemahasiswaan.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study was motivated by the low learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education caused by limited student engagement in the learning process. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the probing prompting learning model on students’ learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education on the topic of good deeds (amal saleh) and positive thinking (husnuzan) among eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Kopang in the 2023/2024 academic year. This study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The sample consisted of 86 students divided into an experimental class and a control class selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected using a multiple-choice test instrument that had met validity and reliability criteria. Data analysis was conducted using parametric statistical tests to examine differences in learning outcomes between the two groups. The results indicated that the probing prompting learning model had a significant effect on students’ learning outcomes. The implementation of this model enhanced student engagement, understanding, and participation during the learning process. Therefore, the probing prompting model can be considered an effective alternative instructional strategy to improve students’ learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education.ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran probing prompting terhadap hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam pada materi amal saleh dan husnuzan siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Kopang tahun pelajaran 2023/2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen semu (quasi experiment). Sampel penelitian berjumlah 86 siswa yang terdiri atas kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol yang dipilih secara simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan instrumen tes pilihan ganda yang telah memenuhi kriteria validitas dan reliabilitas. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji statistik parametrik untuk menguji perbedaan hasil belajar antara kedua kelompok. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan penggunaan model pembelajaran probing prompting terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Penerapan model ini mampu meningkatkan keaktifan, pemahaman, dan keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, model probing prompting dapat menjadi alternatif strategi pembelajaran yang efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam siswa.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Juvenile delinquency in industrial environments has become a serious issue influenced by limited parental supervision and weak internalization of religious values due to socio-economic dynamics. This study aims to analyze the role of religious leaders in non-formal Islamic education and its effectiveness in addressing juvenile delinquency in industrial areas. The research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation involving three religious leaders and fifteen adolescents. Data were analyzed qualitatively through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that religious leaders play significant roles as educators, mentors, and role models through activities such as religious gatherings, youth study groups, and short-term Islamic boarding programs using personal and contextual approaches. These roles have proven effective in reducing deviant behaviors such as fighting, alcohol consumption, and truancy, while also enhancing religious awareness and self-control among adolescents. This study highlights that community-based non-formal Islamic education serves as an effective preventive strategy in addressing juvenile delinquency in industrial environments. The findings imply the need for strengthening the capacity of religious leaders and providing community-based policy support to ensure the sustainability of youth development programs. ABSTRAK Kenakalan remaja di lingkungan industri telah menjadi masalah serius yang dipengaruhi oleh terbatasnya pengawasan orang tua dan lemahnya internalisasi nilai-nilai agama akibat dinamika sosial-ekonomi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran tokoh agama dalam pendidikan Islam nonformal serta efektivitasnya dalam menangani kenakalan remaja di kawasan industri. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi yang melibatkan tiga tokoh agama dan lima belas remaja. Data dianalisis secara kualitatif melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tokoh agama memiliki peran penting sebagai pendidik, pembimbing, dan teladan melalui kegiatan seperti pengajian, kelompok kajian remaja, dan program pesantren kilat dengan menggunakan pendekatan personal dan kontekstual. Peran tersebut terbukti efektif dalam mengurangi perilaku menyimpang seperti perkelahian, konsumsi minuman keras, dan bolos sekolah, sekaligus meningkatkan kesadaran beragama dan pengendalian diri pada remaja. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pendidikan Islam nonformal berbasis masyarakat merupakan strategi preventif yang efektif dalam mengatasi kenakalan remaja di lingkungan industri. Temuan ini mengimplikasikan perlunya penguatan kapasitas tokoh agama serta dukungan kebijakan berbasis masyarakat guna menjamin keberlanjutan program pembinaan remaja.
