Tuberculosis (TB) is one of the top ten causes of death caused by infectious agents in Indonesia. In children, more than 96% of TB-related deaths are due not receiving anti-TB treatment, this is significant challenges to diagnosing TB in children. This study aims to analyze the methods of diagnosing TB in children. The research design used a systematic literature review which summarized and compared as many as 12 studies published through Pubmed and Sciencedirect in 2010-2022 concerning methods of diagnosing TB in children. Descriptive analysis showed that the subjects were male with an average age of 4.5 years. Diagnostic enforcement of TB in children found that the scoring system was the most widely used method to diagnosing TB in children with a high sensitivity and specificity, sensitivity and specificity using the modified Edwards Score was 93.3% and 95%. Furthermore, the PCR method by detecting the IS6110 gene using gastric lavage specimens showed sensitivity and specificity was 100% and 98.18%. The QFT-GIT diagnostic method showed a sensitivity of 82.6%, and Xpert MTB/RIF of 76%.

Sepsis is the main cause of death in critically ill patients treated in intensive care units and inpatient rooms. Sepsis is defined as a life-threatening organ dysfunction caused by an uncontrolled host response due to infection. The principles of sepsis therapy consist of fluid resuscitation and hemodynamic support, antibiotics and source control, and a series of adjunctive measures. Inadequate initial treatment of sepsis and septic shock will increase the mortality rate.

Inflammation is a complex response of vascular tissue to hazards such as pathogens, irritants, and damaged cells/tissues. Inflammation is caused by the release of chemical mediators from damaged tissue and cell migration. The purpose of this study was to determine the efficacy of ethanol extract of taro stem (Colocasia esculenta (L.) Schott) which is used as an anti-inflammatory agent and to determine the concentration of ethanol extract of taro stem (Colocasia esculenta (L.) Schott) which can provide anti-inflammatory activity. The method used in this research is the stability of the red blood cell membrane. The concentrations used were 0 ppm, 25 ppm, 75 ppm, 150 ppm and 100 ppm. The results of the percentage inhibition of hemolysis stability of the red blood cell membrane of taro stem extract concentrations of 0 ppm (00.00%), 25 ppm (82.58%), 75 ppm (83.47%), 150 ppm (47.17%), 100 ppm (24.23%). Testing the anti-inflammatory activity of the ethanol extract of taro stem (Colocasia esculenta (L.) Schott) using the red blood cell membrane stability method has efficacy as an anti-inflammatory agent. The concentration of 25 ppm (82.58%) has the highest anti-inflammatory activity and with a small concentration of extract can produce great anti-inflammatory activity, compared to 100 ppm aspirin as a positive control of 24.23%. Candidiasis is a disease of the oral cavity caused by fungal changes Candida albicans from sapophytes to pathogens. CI love albicanslive in the human body as saprophytes and can turn into pathogens if there are risk factors such as poor oral hygiene, low immunity, and other factors. So that preventive action can be done by usingmouthwash that can inhibit the growth of bacteria or fungi, one of which is the use of butterfly pea flower extract. Objective: To determine the effectiveness of ethanol flower extract mouthwash in inhibiting growth Candida albicans. Research methods: This research is a true quantitative experimental laboratory test only control group design with a total of 36 samples consisting of positive control, negative control, and basic mouthwash added with 20%, 30%, 40%, and 50% ethanol extract. Research result: There were significant differences between the butterfly pea flower ethanol groups at concentrations of 20%, 30%, 40%, and 50% to the negative control group. So that the ethanol extract of butterfly pea flowers has inhibitory or antifungal power on growth Candida albicans. Conclusion: Mouthwash ethanol extract of butterfly pea flower concentration of 50% is the best concentration in inhibiting growth Candida albicans compared to other groups.

Peripheral Blood Smear Preparation (SADT) is an examination used to see the structure and number of red and white blood cells, besides giemsa staining can be used for malaria examination. The quality of giemsa staining is influenced by one of which is the soaking time of the giemsa solution. The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of slides or blood smears based on the incubation duration of giemsa staining. This research method qualitatively performed giemsa staining on blood smears with different soaking times (10 minutes, 20 minutes, 30 meinit and 40 minutes) then compared with controls. Results showed that at minutes 10 and 20 the giemsa staining showed a smooth surface and no granules, at 30 and 40 minutes the giemsa staining showed a rough surface and many granules. The conclusion of this study was that 10 and 20 min giemsa soaking showed optimal staining of blood smear preparations.

In order to maintain, obtain, and take care of beauty from day to day, cosmetics have always played an important role in women’s lives to overcome these problems. The use of cosmetics used by women is based on a beauty standard which of course varies in each country. The most common beauty standards are physical beauty, character beauty (inner beauty), white skin, and proportional body sizes. The existence of these beauty standards sometimes makes women feel dissatisfied with their physique, even for some people, changing their physique or changing body size by performing plastic surgery is a natural thing. One of the most common plastic surgery procedures worldwide is breast augmentation through implants. The frequency of surgical procedures requiring breast implants in recent years has continued to increase. In the 1980s, when the third generation of silicone implants were introduced, widespread public health concerns began to emerge about the adverse effects of breast implants. The purpose of this review article is to discuss the safety of breast implants in women based on the relevant scientific evidence. Although not all symptoms and effects of breast implants can appear in all users of breast implants, this review can help women to make the right decision regarding breast implant procedures.

Background. The employment status of nursing staff has an impact or influence on the work ethic of nurses in health care institutions because employment status is closely related to compensation or reward factors. Purpose: This study aims to describe the effect of employment status on the performance of nurses in health care facilities. Method: The method used in this paper is a literature review which is a systematic, explicit and reproducible method for identifying, evaluating and synthesizing research works and ideas that have been produced by researchers and practitioners. Results: The results of the identification of several studies regarding the employment status and performance of nursing staff found that the majority of studies revealed that there was an influence or relationship between employment status and the performance of nursing staff and there were also studies that revealed the opposite result, that there was no effect of employment status and the performance of nursing staff even though very limited in number. Study. Conclusion: Nurse employment status has an effect on performance dominating the research results from several studies that the authors managed to identify. This is more because employment status is more related to the guaranteed compensation received by nurses..
