Abstract

This study is an attempt to understand the impact of three main factors, namely the Bank Indonesia interest rate (BI Rate), currency exchange rate, and economic growth on the inflation rate in Indonesia. Inflation is a crucial indicator in a country's economy, and understanding what influences it is vital for economic policy planning. In order to investigate these factors, this research employs the multiple linear regression analysis method using the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) technique, which is a commonly used statistical method to identify relationships between various variables. The data used in this study are secondary data obtained from various reliable sources, encompassing a series of observations in the form of time series data spanning the period from 1993 to 2022. These data offer a strong insight into the changes and trends that have occurred in the parameters under examination over two decades or more. The findings of this research hold significant implications for understanding the Indonesian economy. First, it is found that the Bank Indonesia interest rate (BI Rate) has a positive impact on inflation. This means that when the BI Rate increases, the inflation rate tends to rise. This indicates that Bank Indonesia's interest rate policy directly influences the dynamics of inflation in the country. Furthermore, economic growth has a significant negative impact on inflation. This implies that when the economy grows, the inflation rate tends to decrease. In this context, stable and robust economic growth can serve as a tool for controlling inflation.

Abstract

The province of East Nusa Tenggara is ranked as the third lowest in the Human Development Index (HDI) in Indonesia. Additionally, the Gross Regional Domestic Product (PDRB) per capita for East Nusa Tenggara in 2023 is only 21.71 million rupiahs, making it the province with the smallest PDRB compared to all other provinces in Indonesia. This study aims to identify and analyze the influence of population size, poverty, PDRB, and minimum wage on the Human Development Index (HDI) in the regencies/cities of East Nusa Tenggara. The research employs a quantitative method, using panel data consisting of a combination of time series data from 2018 to 2022 and cross-sectional data from 22 regencies/cities. The data analysis process involves panel data regression analysis using the Common Effect Model (CEM), which is processed using Eviews 13 software. The results suggest that the population size variable has a significantly negative effect on HDI, while the PDRB variable has a significantly positive impact on HDI. Meanwhile, the regional minimum wage variable does not have a significant effect on HDI in the regencies/cities of East Nusa Tenggara during the period of 2018-2022.

The method used is a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach and scoring analysis. The research was conducted from May 2023 to September 2023, located in Hukurila State, Ambon Island. The results of the research show that the potential for natural resources in Hukurila Country in the form of agriculture (plantations) is one of the largest natural resource potentials, followed by the potential for beach tourism with diverse beach characteristics (white sand and white pebbles) and unique in Ambon City, namely, Tihulessy Beach and Zeu Beach. Management of natural resources based on local wisdom shows that the interpretation of the people of Hukurila Country regarding efforts to manage the country's traditions by being responsible for the development of sustainable development, such as the local wisdom of "Masohi Work, Sasi Culture and the Country Washing Tradition" has become a tradition or local wisdom of the country that is maintained. and well maintained.

Abstract

As we know today, competition in the industrial world is becoming increasingly fierce, especially in the automotive industry. Therefore, the company's management strives to always provide the best service by creating new products that meet the needs and desires of its customers. Companies that can innovate their services, have a good relationship with consumers, and do an excellent marketing job can undoubtedly improve the performance of their product sales. This service innovation is needed by companies in the automotive industry, especially car dealers, to carry out the process of developing their service innovation to increase sales value. Therefore, the research study aims to examine the influence of service innovation on sales performance in automotive firms, especially car dealers. However, few empirical studies have examined the outcomes of firms' involvement in service innovation. There needs to be more convincing arguments for firms to innovate their services to improve sales performance by incorporating the role of relationship learning and marketing strategy. To fill the gap in previous research, the current work can explore the mechanisms between service innovation and sales performance. A survey was conducted using non-probability and purposive sampling techniques, with the criteria being car owners and salespeople in Surakarta. With a total final sample of 100 completed surveys and hypothesis testing using Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). The results show that the service innovation variable can influence sales performance. The increase in sales value is also influenced by mediator variables, namely relationship learning and marketing strategy. Against the background of Service-Dominant Logic (SDL), findings contribute to the literature on service innovation for automobile distribution companies, which shows that increasing service innovation requires a complete understanding of the following factors.

Abstract

In general, the steel industry in Indonesia typically focuses on either stockist or fabrication. It is quite rare to find steel industries that combine both of these focuses. The establishment of PT Gipan Metal Teknik Indonesia (GMTI) marks a manufacturing company with a vision to become the best provider and fabricator of abrasion-resistant steel materials. Their mission is to prioritize product quality, timely delivery, provide excellent services, and offer customized products. PT GMTI supports end-to-end services in the fabrication process, encompassing design and drawing processes, material selection, plate cutting, fabrication, forming, and machining processes. The capital required for this business is relatively high, making the management of the invested capital crucial for the company's operational activities and overall profitability. The company's future growth depends significantly on how it manages its financial activities. The company derives profit from the difference between the sales of stockist materials and customized fabrication processes and the operational production costs. The objective of this research is to understand the financial planning and management at PT GMTI to determine future development strategies for the company.

Abstract

Bukit Barisan Great Forest Park (THRBB) is designated as the third TAHURA in Indonesia. TAHURA functions as a source of genetics and germplasm, erosion control, information and research center, education and conservation work, recreation and tourism services. Currently, the THRBB area is experiencing many land use changes that are not by the THRBB management block plan. Land use change modeling using the Land Change Modeler (LCM) instrument was carried out to predict land use change patterns by selecting a Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLP) to evaluate several variables that influence land use change. This research aims to analyze changes in land use in 2011-2018, factors influencing changes, predictions for 2033 and develop land use directions in the THRBB area. The results of the analysis show that during the 2011-2018 period, primary forest land decreased by 710 ha (2.19%), secondary forest by 1,185 ha (43.94%), and shrubs by 139 ha (7.58%). The decrease in forest land area was followed by an increase in open land area by 448 ha (59.74%) and dry land agriculture by 1,586 ha (57.46%). The pattern of land change in the THRBB area is from forest land to bushland, open land and dry land agriculture. The most significant driving factor for land use change is distance from roads. The prediction results for land cover in 2033 show that the area of primary forest will be 30,156 ha, secondary forest 1,236 ha, shrubs 2,833 ha, open land 1,375 ha and dry land agriculture 4,074 ha. The direction of land use policy in the THRBB area is forest restoration policy, increasing protection and security activities and law enforcement.
