Abstract

The Pulo Lon/Pulo Dayah Village Government formed BUMG as a driving force for the village economy but in its formation there was still minimal guidance from the Regional Government so that several problems emerged, including the differences in terms of service in Perda and Perdes, lack of socialization to the community, and lack of use of computer technology in manage BUMG. The purpose of the study was to find out how the role of Gampong-Owned Enterprises (BUMG) in Increasing Rice Farmers' Income in Pulo Lon Village / Pulo Dayah, Glumpang Tiga District, Pidie Regency. The results of the study indicate that the role of BUMG in general has been running well. This can be seen based on the good running of BUMG programs. Even though in terms of financial planning and programs it has not been managed properly so that the BUMG program has not been fully running optimally because there are several things that must be improved, such as the lack of human and financial resources as well as weak socialization and lack of coordination. Suggestions that can be given are so that there is no delay in improving the quality and quantity of human resources, increasing financial resources, socializing more evenly and improving coordination so that empowerment and the active role of the community can be increased.Keywords: Implementation, Program, BUMDes

Abstract

The objective of the study is to find out whether does the pre-questioning technique improve the students reading comprehension or not .The population of this research is the second grade of  SMAN1 Glumpang Tiga. The sample of this study are one class was as experimental class (XI- IIS) where the writer applied Pre-Questioning technique in teaching learning activity, which consist of 20 students and the other one was as control class (XI-MIA 3) which taught by applying  other technique, consisted of 20 students including . The instrument used in this study was a set of written test which was used for pre test and post test. Pre-test was given before the writer held an experimental teaching. Post test was given after the writer did an experimental teaching. The result of this research showed that  in experimental class the mean of pre-test score (O1) was 55,10, the mean of post-test (O2) was 73,30 ,Furthermore in control class the mean of pre-test score (O1) was 53,80 , the mean of post test (O2) was 55,20 . It indictates that there was significance progression between students’ pre-test and post-test score in experimental class after teaching reading comprehension  by applying pre-questioning technique.  Or from the table 7 ( in the table of independent sample test ) we can see the significant value (sig) in the experimental class was 0,000 0.05,  so there is an increase in students' reading comprehension which is very significant on the reading comprehension by applying pre-questioning technique. It accepted the alternative hypothesis while rejected the null hypothesis. Base on the data analysis, showed that applying pre-questioning technique was significantly improve the students’ reading comprehension.

Abstract

Multimedia-based learning has great potential in changing the way students learn, obtain information, and adapt the information. Through multimedia-based learning, the ability of teacher learning techniques can be used optimally. In-class multimedia-based learning. This study aims to determine what can be influenced by multimedia-based learning. The factors that influence it are student learning motivation and student learning outcomes. The research will be conducted using qualitative research using observational research methods and interviews. The population in this study was 10  teachers at  Madrasah  Ibtidaiyah  Negeri  37  Pidie.  Sampling using probability sampling techniques with simple random sampling and obtained a sample of 10 people. The research data were obtained with guidance and training. The results showed that there was a significant effect of multimedia-based learning on student learning motivation. There is a significant effect of multimedia-based learning on student learning outcomes at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 37 Pidie. So the teacher should be able to improve and use multimedia-based learning appropriately in accordance with the learning material so that learning is meaningful, effective, and efficient. Thus it can increase learning motivation and make it easier for students to understand the material so that students will get satisfying learning results.

Abstract

This research reports on a case study of cartoon movie as a media to promote speaking skill at a senior high school in Sigli, Aceh. This study is an attempt to response the issue in preliminary study in which teachers did not know how to provide a creative and interesting teaching media for speaking. Considering that practicing speaking should be interesting and enjoyable, the researcher assumed that cartoon movie might contribute to students’ speaking development. Besides having potential to encourage thinking processes and discussion skills, cartoons engage the attention of the learners and present information in a non-threatening atmosphere. Two non-participant observers and 20 second-grade students of Senior High School were participated in this qualitative research design, embracing characteristics of a case study. The data were obtained from different resources, classroom observation, video recording, document, and test. The research aim was to investigate how the teacher employed cartoon movie as a teaching media to develop students’ speaking skill. The findings revealed that students motivated to take part in the classroom activities, enjoyed and felt confident to speak English, indicating that the teaching speaking through cartoon movie was successful. Keywords: Media to Promote Speaking Skill, Cartoon Movie, Teaching Speaking for EFL Students

Abstract

The aim of this research was to obtain the empirical evidence about the use of tutorial video to improvement students’ writing of procedure text. The method used in this research was a quantitative method and the research design was an experimental. The sample of this research was at the ninth grade of SMP 2 Padang Tiji academic year of 2019/2020. They were XI 1 class as the experimental class, whereas XI 2 class as the control one. Each class consisted of 23 and 20 students. The experimental class was taught with tutorial video while the control class was taught with teacher’s presentation or without tutorial video. For sampling technique the researcher used random sampling. The instrument used in this research was a written test and the scoring of writing rubric was used to score the students’ writing on the pre and posttest. Based on the calculation, the post-test mean scores of the experimental class was 88.39 while that of the control class was 61.95. Then, the result of statistical hypothesis testing by using independent sample t-test found that on degree of significance 5% (? = 0.05), t observe was 8.258 while t table was 2.021 or t observe > t table. Therefore, Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. Furthermore, the Cohen’s formulation was used in order to know the effect size of tutorial video and the result was 2.52. It proved that tutorial video gave strong effect and it can be concluded that there was a significant improvement of tutorial video on students’ writing of procedure texts at the ninth grade of SMP 2 Padang Tiji in the academic year of 2019/2020.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model inkuiri dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa SMA Negeri 2 Meureude Pidie Jaya. Metode penelitian menggunakan desain one group pre-test post-test. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Meuredu berjumlah 90 siswa yang terdiri dari 4 kelas. Sampel dipilih secara randomsampling, sampel yang terpilih adalah siswa kelas X-1 berjumlah 22 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan model inquiri dan kelas X-2 berjumlah 20 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan model konvensional.Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode (1) pengamatan, (2) tes hasil belajar  dan  (3) dokumentasi serta (4) serta angket respon siswa. Analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Mengunakan instrumen penelitian berupa Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), Lember Kerja Siswa (LKS) dan tes hasil belajar berupa soal tes.Teknik analisis data dengan Analisispeningkatanhasilbelajar Gain yang dinormalisasi (N-gain) dan pengujian hipotesis  uji independent sample t-test(Uji-t).Tahapan model inkuiri dalam kegiatan pembelajaran terdiri dari orientasi masalah, merumus masalah, mengajukan hipotesis, mengumpulkan data, menguji hipotesis dengan mengalisis data serta membuat kesimpulan. Berdasarkan tahapan tersebut model inkuiri memiliki kesesuaian dengan materi Pencemaran lingkungan.  Hasil belajar setelah penerapan model Inkuiri pada materi Pencemaran lingkungan terjadi peningkatan dengan peroleh N-gain sedang serta kendala yang ditemukan penelitian sudah dicari alternatif solusi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model inkuiri pada materi Pencemaran Lingkungan pada SMA Negeri 2 Meuredu Pidie Jaya dapat meningkatkan Hasil Belajar.Kata Kunci : Model Inkuiri: Hasil Belajar, Pencemaran Lingkungan

Abstract

This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research was conducted in class XII-MIA-1 SMA Negeri 1 Peudawa, East Aceh Regency in the odd semester of the 2020/2021 academic year. The students who were used as objects of research were 27 students of class XII-MIA-1 consisting of 11 male students and 16 female students. The subjects that are the focus of the research are Chemistry subjects, the subject of discussion is to distinguish the colligative properties of electrolyte solutions and nonelectrolyte solutions. The application of the make a match type of cooperative learning model aims to improve student learning outcomes in class XII-MIA-1 SMA Negeri 1 Peudawa, East Aceh Regency. This research was conducted in two cycles. Based on the results of the study, the following conclusions were obtained: 1) There were differences in student learning outcomes in the material to distinguish colligative properties of electrolyte solutions and non-electrolyte solutions before and after using the Make–A Match type of Cooperative Learning learning model, 2) There was an increase in student learning outcomes in differentiating materials. colligative properties of electrolyte solutions and nonelectrolyte solutions using the Make-A Match type of cooperative learning model, namely in the pre-cycle there were only 33.3% of students who completed with an average score of 58.2, then in the first cycle it increased to 62.9% students who completed with an average score of 69.8, and in the second cycle increased back to 88.9% of students who completed with an average value of 75.3, and 3) In the first cycle there has been an increase in students who are complete in distinguishing characteristics. colligative electrolyte solution and nonelectrolyte solution but still need improvement in the teaching and learning process using mo del learning Cooperative Learning type Make–A Match. Abstract

This study is aimed at portraying teacher’s strategies in teaching speaking to students at secondary level and recognizing students’ response towards the strategies by involving an English teacher and a class of 20 students. In the mean time, students’ response towards the strategies resulted in positive attitude as they responded that the strategies helped them to speak, as well as concerned oral production of students whose participation was emphasized. The purpose of this research is to find what strategies are suitable for use by teachers at secondary level. This research is a case study and uses qualitative methods. To obtain data, the authors conducted research for 3 days. The instruments used to collect data in this study were classroom observations, inrviews and questionnaire. It aims to find out strategies that are suitable for th teachers in teaching speaking to students at secondary level. The data shows that, a suitable strategy to be used by teachers in teaching speaking at secondary level in SMA Negeri 1 Peukan Pidie is improving student discussion and   storytelling. By using strategy, teacher well be more easy in teaching and student easy to understand what the teacher well be given. Meanwhile, without  strategy student well get bored and difficult  to get the lesson. In the meantime, regarding the strategies used by the teacher, the overall result shows positive feedbacks on the strategies used by the teacher. it is evident that 40%  students strongly agree, 20%  students agree with the strategy used by their teacher and they are very interested in the strategy. and 40% of the students on the day I shared this question were absent.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan siswa kelas VII SMP 2 Bandar Baru dalam mengidentifikasi struktur batin puisi “Maskumambang” karya Willibrordus Surendra. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik tes dan pengolahan data dilakukan dengan teknik statistik. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP 2 Bandar Baru tahun pelajaran 2020/2021 yang berjumlah 60 siswa dan ditetapkan sampel sebanyak 20 siswa dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan siswa mengidentifikasi struktur batin secara keseluruhan tergolong pada kategori baik, sedangkan peraspeknya ialah tema, perasaan, nada, dan amanat tergolong pada kategori baik namun, suasana tergolong  pada kategori cukup.  Penelitian ini berkesimpulan bahwa kemampuan siswa kelas VII SMP 2 Bandar Baru dalam mengidentifikasi struktur batin puisi “Maskumambang” karya Willibrordus Surendra dapat digolongkan pada kategori baik.Kata Kunci : Struktur Batin, Puisi, Maskumambang

Abstract

This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK). This research was conducted in class XI-IPS at SMA Negeri 1 Peudawa, East Aceh Regency, odd semester, 2020/2021 school year. Students who were used as research objects were 27 students of class XI-IPS. This study aims to improve learning outcomes on the impact of the European colonialism with the make a match cooperative learning model for class XI-IPS at SMA Negeri 1 Peudawa, East Aceh Regency. This research was conducted through two cycles. From the results of learning improvements that have been carried out through classroom action research, it can be concluded that: 1. There are differences in student learning outcomes between the use of the lecture method and the Make-A Match type of Cooperative Learning model. 2. There is an increase in learning outcomes, namely the written ability of students both seen from the average value and learning completeness from cycle to cycle shows a significant increase. The average score of students in the pre-cycle was only 69.2, then in the first cycle it increased to 72.1, and in the second cycle it increased to 80.7. Furthermore, in the pre-cycle students who completed only 40.7%, then in the first cycle it increased to 70.4%, and in the second cycle it increased to 96.3%.Keywords: political, cultural, social, and economic impact, make a match model
