Abstract

There are many efforts to ge improvement on student’s learning outcomes. For instance by using teaching material and learning model choosing appropriately. So, it can increase the student’s learning activity. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of using LKPD scientific based into discovery learning model towards the result of student’s study science at eight grade students of SMPN 30 Padang. This research categorized as Quasi Experimental with randomized control group only design. The population that is used was all of the eight grade students on academic year 2018/2019. The sample is considered by purposive sampling technique. The data of knowledge and skill competencies achievement obtained by performances assesment sheet. The data of knowledge and skill compeencies achievement analyzed by similarituly of two average test. The result of this sudy showed that the using of LKPD scientific based into discovery learning model influential owards the student’s science learning outcomes at eight grade students of SMPN 30 Padang in knowledge and skill competencies. It can be seen on the acquisition score of experimental class is better than control class.

Abstract

The 2013 curriculum requires the science learning carried out in an integrated pattern. In addition,  the scientific literacy need  to be integrated into science learning. But the real condition indicated that integrated science learning can be implemented according the 2013 curriculum.. One solution to this problem is to use an integrated science student worksheet by integrating the scientific literacy. The purpose of this research was to compare the learning outcomes of students between before and after the use of the integrated science student worksheets by integrating the scientific literacy on the theme of digestive health in grade VIII of SMPN 17 Padang. The type of the research was quasi experimental research with a before-after design. The research population was all eighth grade students of SMPN 17 Padang academic year 2018/2019. The sample of this research was a grade VIII which was determined by using both purposive sampling and cluster random sampling techniques. The research instruments were consisted of observation sheets attitudes aspect of attitude, written tests in the form of multiple choices for knowledge aspec knowlegde, and performance assessment sheet of skills aspect. Data from research results were analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis and correlation  comparison test. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be stated that there are significant differences in student learning outcomes before and after the use of the integrated science student worksheets by integrating the scientific literacy on the theme digestive health of grade VIII students in SMPN 17 Padang with a confidence level of 95 %.  It means that the use of  integrated science student worksheet by integrating the scientific literacy on the theme of digestive health has given a significant effect on the student learning outcomes which includes aspects of attitudes, knowledge and skills. Thus, the integrated science student worksheet which implemented in scientific approach can be used as an alternative solution to problem of integrated learning in the schools.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the non-optimal achievement of competence of learners to physics. To improve the competence of learners, developed teaching material in sheet form K0erja Students (LKPD) Complexity Oriented Content and Cognitive Processes.This study included research into the types of development (research and development). The development model used is the model 4-D comprising the step of defining (define), design (design), development (development), and the spread (disseminate). LKPD trials conducted prior to 5 people validator. Furthermore LKPD tested the practicality of the two teachers and a large number of learners. The final stage of this study is testing the effectiveness is limited to a number of learners.Validity test results obtained LKPD overall average value of 3.00, test the practicalities of teachers SMAN 4 Padang obtained an average value of 3.37 as well as the practicalities of test results obtained learners speserta average value of 3.37. Based on these results, we can conclude that Complexity Content Student and Cognitive Process Worksheet generated in the category valid and practical. While the effectiveness of the test results obtained by value Student Worksheet gain a score of 0.47, meaning that the researchers developed of Student Worksheet that are in the moderate category and can be used to improve the competence of learners

Abstract

The problem that underlies this research is the less optimal of practice implementation because of the limitations of tools and time implementation. Solution to help the implementation of the real practicum is to implement virtual laboratory. There have been several virtual laboratory related physics materials available on the internet such as phet. It's just not been able to be used by students because there is no worksheet that support the application for use on practicum activities. Therefor, the researcher develops student’s worksheet for virtual laboratory through ICT to support student practicum activity on dynamic fluid material, temperature and heat, and gas kinetic theory for XI grade. The research includes research and development (R & D) with 4D model. This study consists of 4 steps that are limited to the third step, namely define, design, and develop. The object of the research is student’s worksheet for virtual laboratory through ICT on dynamic fluid material, temperature and heat, and gas kinetic theory which tested to grade XI student of SMA Negeri 1 Padang. Based on data analysis that has been done can be presented two research results. First, student’s worksheet based on virtual laboratory is in valid category with validation value 77,14. Second, the practicality category of student’s worksheet based on virtual laboratory is very practical with practical value according to teacher 88,46 and practicality value according to student 86,40.

Abstract

The achievement of physics learning in junior high school shows an unoptimal results. There are some factors which make such as used method is still “teacher centered”, inactive student in learning because teacher only gives the materials without communication between teacher and student, at least for establishment of skill and character values. ​​Application of cooperative learning model can be used as an alternative to solve this problem. The cooperative model which integrated for character is able to improve the competence of student. This research to find out effect of cooperative model application which is integrating character education for the compenten achievement of students learning in MTsN Kubang Putih. The research type is pre-experiment by program "Randomized Control Group Design Only". This population of reseach are eighth grade students of second semester in MTsN Kubang Putih which is sampling was done by cluster random sampling technique. Data obtained were analyzed by using descriptive statistics and test the equality of two on average. The results shows is the working hypothesis which says, "the application of cooperative model which is integrating character education has effect for the result achievement of competence physics learning by eighth grade of MTsN Kubang putih" can be accepted on the real standart of 0.05. Abstract

Textbook lessons are one of the keys to the success and success of the implementation of curriculum 2013. Textbook lesson is one of the learning media used by teachers and students in the learning process. The material in the textbook of the lesson must be in accordance with the curriculum objectives and the material in the textbook should have local content material integrated into the textbook of the lesson. One way to judge a textbook is to analyze the textbook of the lesson. This study aims to determine the level of kissing objectives of the curriculum in science textbooks SMP / MTs grade VII semester 2 and to determine the level of conformity of scientific materials in textbook science lesson SMP / MTs class VII semester 2 with Tsunami material. There are six aspects that are assessed in terms of conformity with the curriculum that is conformity with SKL, KI, KD, scientific approach, authentic assessment and local content. Then there are three aspects that are assessed to see the appropriateness of science materials with Tsunami material is from aspects of factual, conceptual and procedural knowledge.The research type is descriptive research with qualitative approach. The sample of the data in this study was taken with the technique of Sampling Purposive, obtained textbook of science lesson of SMP / MTs VII class 2nd semester published by Kemendikbud revised edition year 2017 and textbook of science lesson of SMP / MTs class VII semester 2 endorsed by Erlangga as sample in research. The data in this study using statistical data and techniques.The findings of this study indicate that the level of kissing objectives of the curriculum of science textbooks published by Kemendikbud revised edition of 2017 is 71.2% with sufficient category and the suitability level of curriculum goals in textbooks published by Erlangga is 80.2% corresponding. Then the level of conformity of science materials in textbook science lesson of SMP / MTs class VII semester 2 with Tsunami material is 32,8% with inappropriate category.Keyword : Textbook, Analysis of conformity of curriculum objectives, Analysis of conformity of IPA materials with Tsunami materials.

Abstract

One of the factors causing low learning outcomes Physics is the lack of ability of the students in solving problems. Businesses that can be done to improve students' ability to solve problems is to use a worksheet integrated motion system of the human body with Cooperative Problem Solving learning model. This study aims to investigate the influence and contribution of Student Worksheet integrated motion system of the human body in Cooperative Problem Solving learning on Physics learning outcomes in Class X SMAN 5 Padang. This type of research is a quasi experimental research with the study design randomized control group only design. The study population were students of class X SMAN 5 Padang enrolled in the academic year 2015/2016. Sampling was done by purposive sampling techniques, the class obtained as an experimental class X 10 and X 11 as the control class. Data on research are physics students' learning outcomes data, value data Student Worksheet integrated motion system of the human body. The research instrument was a written test for cognitive, observation sheet for affective, and psychomotor rubric for scoring. Data analysis used the equality of two average on the real level of 0.05, regression and correlation tests for cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. The results showed that the average value of Physics graders experimental and control group was 81.33 and 74.57 for the cognitive, 83.08 and 78.65 for affective domain, and 81.33 and 76.96 for psychomotor. Based on the equality test two averages in the cognitive, affective and psychomotor using t test, the result tcount> ttabel. Results of regression and correlation test obtained contributions Student Worksheet integrated motion system of the human body on the cognitive amounted to 90.27%, the affective domain by 60.56%, and the psychomotor amounted to 82.82%. Conclusion of the study is 1) there is a significant influence Student Worksheet integrated motion system of the human body in a circular motion materials, dynamics and Newton's laws against Physics learning outcomes in Cooperative Problem Solving learning in Class X SMAN 5 Padang on the real level of 0.05 is acceptable, 2) there is a meaningful contribution Student Worksheet integrated motion system of the human body in a circular motion materials, dynamics and Newton's laws against Physics learning outcomes in Cooperative Problem Solving  learning in class X SMAN 5 Padang

Abstract

In the 21st century requires a variety of skills that must be mastered by someone, so that education is expected to be able to prepare successful human resources in life and quality in all endeavors to be able to compete against the millennium era. Skills in the 21st century that must be mastered include the four pillars of life, namely learning to know, learning to do, learning to be, and learning to live together, in learning activities including critical thinking skills, problem solving, collaboration, innovation, information literacy, and various other skills. To achieve these demands the government seeks to improve the quality of education by evaluating and developing the curriculum. Where the government developed curriculum at this time the revised 2013 curriculum in 2017. The reality in school shows that learning physics has not been done well, this can be seen from the lack of active students during the learning process and less improving students' higher order thinking skills. This research aims to determine the level of validity or behavior of the HOTS oriented worksheet in the guided inquiry model. This type of research is R&D (Research and Development) with the Borg and Gall development model. The data source in this study was obtained from the results of validation by 3 expert lecturers. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the HOTS-oriented worksheet in the guided inquiry model was appropriate for use in the physics learning process with a very valid category with an average of 82.26%.

Abstract

This research aim to generate a LKM in nuclear physics course. Laboratory activities is one form of learning that allows students to get learning experience through scientific proccess. Observations made show that in the physics department, in the nuclear physics course there is no laboratory activities yet because of the limitations of tools and materials. Virtual laboratpry activities is a recommended solution based on this situation and some related research before. As a form of learning, laboratory activities require teaching materials to support these activities. Research that conducted is a type of research Research and Development. The research procedure is carried out the ADDIE development research model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The developed product is validated by the physics lecturer as an expert, and practicality is done by the physics lecturer and student. Based on the results of research that has been done, it is found that the LKM to support the virtual lab activities on radioactive decay topic has a validity value of 92.31 with category very valid, practicality value by lecturers 86.87 with category very practical and practicality value by students 87.73 with category very practical.
