Abstract

This research is motivated that the teaching materials used can not activate the students. The teaching materials used are printed materials containing materials, sample questions and evaluation. These teaching materials make learners memorize the formula instead of mastering the concept. This study aims to produce products such as CSP and LKPD oriented guided inquiry on a matter of momentum and impulse in Physics valid, practical, and effective. This research is a research development (research anddevelopment) using 4D development model. The model consists of four phases: define (definition), stage design (design), develop phase (development), and disseminate stage (dissemination). However, this study is only done until the stage of development (development). The data of the research are analyzed by qualitative and quantitative analysis. Based on the research that has been done, the product produced in the form of RPP and LKPD oriented guided inquiry. Product research is categorized as very valid aspects and LKPD completeness RPP, RPP eligibility and LKPD contents, use of language and LKPD RPP, and kegrafisan LKPD using guided inquiry learning model component with an average value of 93.4 to 93.7 for the RPP and LKPD. Products are categorized very practical research by teachers with an average value of 88.4 to 86.9 for the RPP and LKPD, as well as practical by learners with an average value of 82.9. Product research is also effective in improving learners' test results based on comparative testing correlates with the acquisition t_hitung = -14.74 and T_ (table) = 1.7, so t calculate <t table (table), which means that this LKPD effective for use in learning.

Abstract

In facing the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, education is needed that can form a creative, innovative, and competitive generation. This can be achieved by optimizing the use of technology as a tool in education. In terms of education, the government made improvements to the learning system, namely curriculum development. The 2013 curriculum regulates learning resources, namely books, print and electronic media. But in reality the student books used in school only contain physics material and have not been fully integrated with the dimensions of attitude, spirituality, and local context. The existing teaching materials have not included the implementation of the 2013 curriculum and are not sufficient for students to learn independently. One solution to this problem is the physics e-book based on Edupark. This study aims to produce a physics e-book based on the Edupark Hot Waterboom in South Solok using a professional flip pdf for valid high school / MA students. The type of research used is development research using the Plomp development model. The plomp model is a research design suitable for developing research-based solutions in education. The plomp model is used to develop or validate theories about the learning process. The results of the validation test are used to test the advantages of the product that has been made and as a guide in making revisions to the e-book. The average value of each assessment component in the physics e-book based on the South Solok Water Boom Edupark can be determined from the average of the four assessment components including 1) content feasibility component 2) learning design component 3) display component and 4) software utilization component. From the percentage of the four components, the results of the e-book validation instrument were obtained by three validator experts with an average percentage of 85.11% with a very valid category

Abstract

Based on the 2013 curriculum, the process of science in junior high school was carried out in an integrated form and has context. Integrated science learning means the science learning is packaged in the form of themes and sub themes based on several combinations of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The contextual learning means learning is brought closer to the daily lives of students. Learning material that is discussed by integrated form and has context will make learning meaningful. The problem that occurs in the schools was that science learning in junior high schools is not yet in an integrated and contextual thematic form. The solution to these problems is the application of integrated science teaching books the theme of motion in everyday life integrating the REACT strategy in the scientific approach. The purpose of this research was to investigate the effect of applying integrated science teaching books on the theme of motion in everyday life by integrating REACT strategy in the scientific approach to the learning outcomes of class VIII students of SMP 7 Padang. This type of research is Quasi Experiment Research with the design of Randomized Control-Group Only Design. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling and random sampling. The data collection instrument used is to a written test sheet. Data analysis in this study used descriptive statistics and comparison test of two means. The result of data analysis showed that there was a significant difference in learning outcomes of students in aspects of knowledge and skills. This result reveals that the application of the integrated science learning book on the theme of motion in daily lives by integrating the REACT strategy has a significant effect on the aspects of the knowledge and skills of students at the 97,5% level of confidence in of class VIII student of SMP 7 Padang. From this result, it can be recommended that science teachers and students can use this integrated science learning book as a learning resource in science subjects.

Abstract

One strategy that can be used by teachers to solve this problem is to use systematic problem solving strategy assisted solution path outline (SPO). This research aimed to investigate the influence of systematic problem solving strategy assisted SPO to physics learning result of student grade X SMAN 2 Batang Kapas. Type of this research is Quasi Experiment with randomized control group only design. The population of research was all student in grade X SMAN 2 Batang Kapas that enrolled in the academic year 2012/2013. The research samples were determined through cluster sampling technique, grades choiced as research sample were X1 and X3.. Base on data analysis, in experimental class was higher than control class, which the average value of experimental class was 83.85 and the of control class was 78.21.Meanwhile, in affective domain was gotten the average value of experimental class 79.88 and the of control class 71.82. The hypothesis was tested by t-tested, in cognitive domain tcount=2,48 and in affective domain tcount=4,28 in the real level 0.05, means tcount>ttable. Thus work hypothesis was acceptable. The conclusion of this research is implementation of problem solving strategy assisted solution path ouline (SPO) increased Physics learning result of student grade X SMAN 2 Batang Kapas. . Abstract

The low scores of the students of SMPN 3 Ranah Pesisir in Physics were caused by the lack of their activeness and  interaction in learning process. One effort to help the students to solve these problems was by applying LKS that is TAI-oriented learning model. Based on the problems above the study whose purpose was to find out the effect of TAI-oriented learning model had been conducted toward the scores of the second year students of SMPN 3 Ranah Pesisir  in Physics. The research design used was Quasi Experimental, using Randomized Control Group Only Design. The population of this research was the second year students of SMPN 3 Ranah Pesisir who were registered in the academic year 2014/2015, while the samples were selected by using purposive sampling technique. The data involved the students’ scores in cognitive, affective and  psychomotor domains. The data from those three domains were analyzed by using t-test. The score of experiment class in cognitive domain was 88.38, higher than control class, 80.01. The score of experiment class in affective domain was73.94, and the control class was 63.58. Further, the score of experiment class  in psychomotor domain was 88.91, higher than control class, 80.89. After applying t-test to the three domains, then, the hypothesis could be accepted. It can be concluded that there is a significant effect of using LKS that is TAI-oriented learning model toward the scores of the second year students of SMPN 3 Ranah Pesisir in Physics, on the degree of 0.05

Abstract

The many technological discoveries of the 21st century require the world of education to adapt quickly. Based on curriculum 2013’s competence standards. Then it requires reinforcement of a scientific approach to add in learning. But in the fact remains that the learning model demands the 2013 curriculum and the 21st-century technology-based learning medium is not fully finish. Researchers have attempted to study using video as a learning medium in guided inquiry learning to look at the impact on learning participants. The kind of research being done is a quasi-experiment research design with the randomized research group one design. The population in this research are all public high school seniors registered in 2020/2021. Samples from this research are XI MIPA 1 as experiment class and XI MIPA 2 as control class. The research instrument consists of posttest and performance assessment sheets. The data on this research is analyzed using a two average descriptive analysis and testing similarities ate definite point 0,05 for the competence of students made up of knowledge and skill. Studies have concluded that there is an influence that means use the video in guided inquiry learning to traveling wave and sound waves in XI SMA Negeri 7 Sijunjung. It is supported by has data analysis on each knowledge and skill competence with two averages found th> ttable. At the competence knowledge, 4,824>2,002 and at skill competence 4,098>2,002 who are in the Ho rejection area means there are differenct results for the competence of knowledge and student’ skills.

Abstract

Based on the results of observations at SMAN 1 Bukittinggi obtained low student learning outcomes. One of the causes of low student grades is indicated because students are less able to represent knowledge from one form to another, for example into a chart / table / diagram / picture form. Low learning outcomes also show that the lack of physics teaching materials that can connect learning with various contexts that exist around students. The purpose of this study is to produce integrated contextual teaching materials for multi-representation strategies that are worth seeing from the validation of experts and practicality.This type of research is the Research and Development (R&D) model of Sugiyono. The validation test was conducted by three lecturers of Physics FMIPA UNP. The practicality test was conducted by two practitioners / teachers who taught at SMAN 1 Bukittinggi and 34 students of class X. Based on data analysis conducted and obtained input on improving teaching materials, obtained teaching materials that were valid and practical were in accordance with the eligibility criteria of validity and practicality.

Abstract

The Physics learning outcomes of students in Junior High School still has not optimal. This condition is caused by guidance and attention from teacher not optimal. Cooperative learning model type Group Investigation can improve the interaction between students and teacher. The earning process can be supplemented by worksheet for investigation. Therefore, the aim of this research to know  the effect of Cooperative Learning model type Group Investigation with worksheet on Physics learning outcomes students VII Grade Junior High School. Population of quasi experiment research is student VII Grade in SMPN 8 Padang which registered in the academic year 2012/2013. The design of this research is Randomized Control Group Only Design. Sampling techniques that used is Cluster Random Sampling. Data were obtained through a written test for the cognitive, observation for affective domain, the observation group work for psychomotor domains and analyzed by testing the equality of two on average. The research shows there is an influence of Cooperative learning model type Group Investigation which supplemented by worksheet investigation towards learning outcome of students of Seventh Grade at SMPN 8 Padang in significant level 0.05. Abstract

Differences in Learning Outcomes Learners Using Scientific Approach-Oriented Modules in Physics Model Class XI in SMA Negeri 1 Bukittinggi. This research is based on the unfinished achievement of Physics competence of students in SMA caused by various factors such as the existence of teaching materials applied by educators. Teaching materials is one way that is considered effective to remind students of Physics learning outcomes. Module is one form of teaching materials. This study aims to determine the difference in the use of scientifically oriented approach module in the problem-based learning model of learning toward the achievement of physics competence of students of class XI SMAN 1 Bukittinggi. The type of research conducted is a quasi experiment with Randomized Control Group Design Only design. The study population is all students of class XI IPA SMAN 1 Bukittinggi registered in Lesson Year 2016/2017. Sampling is done by Purposive Sampling technique. Research data include competence from three aspects, namely attitude aspect obtained through observation sheet, knowledge aspect obtained through result of learning test, and skill aspect obtained through performance sheet. Physical material involved in this study deals with mechanical waves. To know the difference of using module is done with t test statistic, continued with simple linear regression analysis and product moment correlation test to research variables. Based on data analysis, the students' physics competence in attitude, knowledge, and skill in the experimental class were 81,2, 79, and 80,81 higher than the control classes 77,13, 75 and 78,33. The result of t test is that there is a significant difference between the achievement of Physics competence of learners using the Scientific Approach Oriented Module with the not. From the result of data analysis with significance level 0,05, the effect of Science-oriented Approach Module on knowledge, and skill are 60,84% and 23,04%.
