Abstract

The 21st .Century demands that1human resources are responsive and alert to face competitionr. The 2013 revised 2017 curriculum is an effort to welcome 21st century life, aimed at developing critical thinking skills, creative, collaborating and communicating. However, the reality in the field of student literacy at school is still low and literacy activities in learning are not going well. The solution to overcome these problems is to develop worksheets to improve new literacy. The purpose of this study determines the validity and practicality of the use of physics worksheet.This type of research were conducted by Research and Development (R&D). The object of this research is the LKS physics of heat material and the kinetic theory of the gas which is limited to one class XI. The data source of this research is the validator team including the physics lecturer of FMIPA and the students of class XI MIPA 1 of SMAN 1 Nan Sabaris as student worksheet users. Data7collection instruments used were: validity sheets, practicality sheets.8Data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis of the validity and practicality of the product.4Based on data analysis, two research results were presented. First, the student worksheet is very valid with a validity value of 89,66. Second, the use of physics worksheets is very practical with practicality accordingoto students 89.77. So, it was concluded that the student worksheet physics of heat material and the kinetic theory of gas are valid and practical used in learning physics to improve the new literacy of class XI high school students.

Abstract

The article based on research that title “Influence of using student worksheet oriented to constructivistic approach to the ability of the students in grade XI of senior high school 4 Padang”. This research based of demand curriculum to teaching and learning process is maximizing the students involment in the clasroom. The students can build their own knowledge not only by getting the final result from the teacher but also by doing another approaches. One of approaches is constructivistic. By those reasons, that is why this research was conducted to observe the influence of using student worksheet oriented to constructivistic approach to the ability of the students in grade XI of senior high school 4 Padang. Quasi-exsperiment research was developed which randomized control group only design. The population of the research was grade XI IPA in senior high school 4 Padang and sample was selected by applying purposive sampling technique. The data of this research were the final result test of study in cognitive, affective and psikomotor aspect. The instrument of the research were written test to asses cognitive aspect, observation test to asses affective aspect and check list to asses the psychomotor aspect. The data analysis for these three aspect was done by equality test of two averages which use t test that meant that the applying of student worksheet oriented to the constructivistic approach to the students final test of the study in physics in senior high school 4 Padang was about 0,05 in real standard.

Abstract

This study aims to find student learning outcomes using CTL and PPT-based videos for 10th grade students at Adabiah Padang High School on Newton's law material about motion and interaction. This type of research is an experiment with a randomized control group design only. This study involved two experimental classes, the first class using CTL-based videos and the second class using PPT. This study discusses aspects of attitude, knowledge and skills. Assessment is based on the instrument. Based on the results of data analysis that can prove student learning outcomes on aspects of attitudes, knowledge and skills of CTL-based videos are higher than the PPT class, the average results of CTL-based video student grade grades are higher than the PPT class, and related to student learning outcomes with applying CTL-based videos and applying PPT to Newton's law material about motion and applying at Adabiah High School Padang with a 95% confidence level

Abstract

Science teaching in junior high school based on the 2013 curriculum should be done in an integrated form. In this case, the integration of science material includes Physics, Chemistry, Biology and its applications. The real condition indicated that the integrated Science teaching in schools can’t be applied in accordance with expected condition. The solution of the problem is to apply the integrated science learning material by integrating the literacy. The purpose of the research was to determine the effect of the application of integrated Science learning material by integrating literacy on the digestive health theme in the scientific approach to the competency of grade VIII students in SMPN 8 Padang. This type of research was quasi-experimental research with a before-after design. The research population was all grade VIII students of SMPN 8 Padang in the academic year 2018/2019. The research sample was obtained by both purposive sampling technique and cluster random sampling. The instrument of knowledge aspect of competency was written test in the form of multiple choice, skills aspect was performance assessment sheet, and attitudes aspect was observation sheet. The data analysis techniques in the research were descriptive statistical analysis, normality test, homogeneity test, paired comparison test and Wilcoxon test. From the data analysis, it can be concluded that the application of integrated Science learning material by integrating literacy has a significant effect on the three competencies of grade VIII students including knowledge, skills, and attitudes at the 95% confidence level.

Abstract

This study aims to determine student competency achievement differences by applying an science student work sheet oriented learning model increased ability to think of the seventh grade students of SMPN 12 Padang. Type of research is Quasi-Experimental Research, with the study design Posttest-Only Control Group Design. The study population was all students of class VII SMPN 12 Padang enrolled in the academic year 2016/2017. Sampling techniques was purposive sampling techniques and continued by random sampling technique. The research data was taken from the attainment of students in the second grade sample. Based on the hypothesis test for a third achievement of competence using the t test at the 0,05 significance level obtained by each competence (attitudes, knowledge, and skills) in sequence are 6.49, 3.01, and 4.57. While the  . These results show that  , then   rejected or   accepted. This means that there are differences in student achievement by implementing science student work sheet oriented learning model increased ability to think of class VII SMPN 12 Padang

Abstract

One of the factors causing the low achievement of Physics competence of learners is the completeness of the teaching materials used such as LKPD is not adequate. One of the learning models that can be done to improve the competence of learners is Problem Based Learning. This study was conducted to determine the effect of using LKPD based on the mind map of problem based learning on the achievement of the competence of physics students of class XI SMA Negeri 2 Padang.This type of research is quasi experimental (Quasi Experimental Research) with research design The Randomized Postest - only Control Group Design, using Matched Subjects. The study population is all students of class XI SMA Negeri 2 Padang registered in the academic year 2016-2017, which is 7 classes of academic year 2016/2017. The sample of research was taken with Purposive Sampling technique. The research data consisted of attitude, knowledge and skill competency data, which instrument was used are observation sheets, a written test and performance assesment rubric. The three competencies was analyzed by using t- test at real level of 0,05. Knowledge and skill competence also analyzed by simple linear regression test, and correlation test at significant level 5 %. Research data is the value of learning outcomes of learners attitude competence, knowledge and skills and the value of LKPD based mind mapping. The research instrument is an observation sheet for measuring the attitude competence, the final test to measure knowledge competence and performance rating sheet to measure the competency of the skill. Research data were analyzed by two-equation equality test and regression test and correlation. The two-point equality test was performed for all competencies in both sample classes. Regression and correlation test is performed for knowledge competence and skill competence in experiment class and LKPD value based on mind map. Through correlation test obtained significance level of relationship that is, the first value with the value LKPD knowledge competency-based mind map is a powerful, with a percentage contribution LKPD mind map based on the achievement of physical competence of learners by 29.5% and the remaining 70.5% is influenced by other variables . LKPD based on mind map also has a significant influence on the competence of students' skills

Abstract

This research is done because teaching materials student worksheet oriented scientific approach and learning method are less interesting this time, including in SMPN 31 Padang. Curriculum change requires teachers to be able to utilize the entire potential of learners in learning, so that learning centered on the learner. One approach that relates to these demands is scientific approach, for learning can be well with applied so that is needed learning materials, model and method that support the learning process. The purpose of this research is to investigate the influence of applied Method Kokami Game based student worksheet Scientific in Quantum Learning Model for Science Competency of learners of Class VII SMPN 31 Padang. The research is quasi eksperiment with randomized control group only design. The population of this research was Learners of class VII SMPN 31 Padang registered the second semester of academic year 2014/2015. Sampling was done by purposive sampling technique. The research data includes three competency, its are knowledge competency, attitude competency, and skill competency. The research is a written test for knowledge competency, observation sheet for attitude competency and scoring rubric for assessing the performance of skill competency. Analysis of the data for the knowledge competency, attitude competency and skill competency is done by testing  two average. Based on test of normality and homogeneity has be done then test of two average is t-test for knowledge competency and skill competency and t’-test for attitude competency. Data analysis knowledge competency gets an average value 83.67 of experimental class is higher than the control class 78.25. An average value for attitude competency of experimental class 83 and control class 79 while at skill competency, get’s an average value 79.9 of experimental class is higher than control class average 59.6. Analysis of the average similarity test that is done is t-test for knowledge competency and skill competency, t-test for attitude competency.Based on research result It can be concluded that the hypothesis in this research there is significant differences in the applied method of Kokami Games student worksheet Scientific in Quantum Learning Model for science Competency of learners of based Class VII SMPN 31 Padang for knowledge competency and skill competency are recepted but for attitude competency rejected at  real level of 0.05

Abstract

One of the essences of curriculum implementation in 2013 is the application of high-level thinking skills-rotating learning ( Higher Order Thingking Sklills,HOTS). HOTS-oriented learning requires students to carry out active learning. Therefore, the teacher must be able to create active learning by presenting one of the teaching materials in the form of Student Worksheets (LKS). The results of observations show that the LKS used in public high schools in North Sumatra is still diverse, starting from the LKS made by the subject teachers and issued by the publisher. All of these LKS have also not been identified whether they already contain HOTS components in them. therefore, a component analysis research was conducted higher Order thinking skills (HOTS) on the material presentation Physics worksheets class X semester II at SMAN throughout West Sumatra.This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The population of data in this study were all worksheets for high school physics students of class X semester II used by 34 public high schools in West Sumatra. The sample in this study is the highest number of SMA class X semester II physics worksheets used in schools published by three different publishers and two worksheets made by physics subject teachers.The research data were taken using the analysis instrument of LKS offerings and data collection techniques through documentation studies.Based on the research that has been carried out, it is found that the percentage of availability of HOT indicators in the form of decision making, critical thinking and creative thinking in each worksheet is as follows. LKS F X/II RZ-GR percentage of indicator availability LKS / IIX percentage availability of HOTS indicators respectively, namely, 23,34% ; 0,%; 35,52%; 22,88%. LKS D X/II RC-IP, 44,66%;25,74%; 44,42%;40,04%. LKS F X/II BK-VP , 16,86%; 8,58% ; 28,86%; 2,86 %.LKS F X/II G I, 21,66%; 2,86%;35,52%; 5,72% and LKS F X/II GII, 28,31%; 11,44%; 33,3% ;17,16%. From the entire LKS F X/II RC-IP Has the highest percentage indicator. From this data, it can be concluded that the percentage of availability of HOTS indicators in the presentation of the contents of the Class X Semester II Physics Worksheets at Senior High Schools throughout West Sumatra is still low, with the category not yet facilitating.Keywords : Analysis, worksheet, High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS).

Abstract

The 2013 curriculum can be seen as a solution to answer the challenges of the 21st century. The Indonesian government has supported to improve student learning outcomes by encouraging 4C skills in schools and integrated science teaching in Junior High School. But the real conditions in the school indicated that the integration of science learning material was still relatively low with an average value of 63.07. In addition, the skills which used were still limited to the science process skills. The average value of student learning outcomes in the knowledge aspect was 40.91 and this average value can be classified into a low category. The solution to this problem was to apply the integrated science student worksheet by integrating the 4C learning skills of our respiratory and excretory theme integrated science teaching. The purpose of this research was to investigate the effects of integrated science student worksheet by integrating 4C learning skills on the our respiratory and excretory theme on the learning outcomes of grade VIII students of SMP 7 Padang. This type of research was a quasi-experiment with a non-equivalent control group with only post test design. The population of this research was all VIII grade students of SMP 7 Padang. The sampling technique used cluster random sampling. The research instrument consisted of an observation sheet for attitude aspect, written test for knowledge aspect, and performance assessment sheet for skills aspect. The research data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics and comparison of two means test. The result of the hypothesis test indicated that there was a significant difference between the learning outcomes of students who use integrated science student worksheet and students who didn’t use it. This means that integrated science student worksheet has given a significant effect on learning outcomes consisting of knowledge, skills, and attitudes of grade VIII students of SMPN 7 Padang at a 95% confidence level. Thus, integrated science student worksheet by integrating the 4C learning skills can be used by science teachers and students in science teaching.

Abstract

          Competence of student grade 8th SMPN 31 Padang is still below to passing grade (KKM), because of teaching and learning materials conducted to student learning was still centered on the teacher. This study was   to try to determine the effect of LKPD based on the ICARE learning. To improve of student competence at science concept: motion by thing and living thing at grade 8th SMPN 31 Padang. This type of research is Quasi Experiment Designs with Randomized Control Group Only Design. In this study all students grade 8th SMPN 31 Padang Academic Year 2017/2018 and sampling technique was Purposive Sampling, and grade 8th.2 as eksperimental group and grade 8th.3 as a control group. The research sample is class VIII 2 and class VIII 3. The data or student competence that are: affective, kognitive, and psychomotor competence. Based on the data analysis, the research found that: the competence student at grade 8th SMPN 31 Padang for three domain that are affective, kognitive and psycomotor.
