The method used is literature study which is objective, systematic, analytical and descriptive. The conclusion of this research is: The internal quality assurance system (SPMI) is an effort to improve the quality of higher education. With the quality of Indonesian higher education still lagging behind other countries, this is a very big problem for Indonesian higher education today. Abstract

The Youth Pledge is a historic moment in the journey of the Indonesian national movement which played an important role in uniting various movement organizations. Through a pledge to one homeland, one nation and one unified language, the Youth Pledge encourages a spirit of unity among youth from various backgrounds. With the spirit of unity inspired by the Youth Pledge, various national movement organizations united to achieve the ideals of Indonesian independence. The principles expressed in the Youth Pledge form a strong ideological foundation for the national movement, influencing the focus and direction of the national movement organization to further emphasize unity. Organizations such as Budi Utomo, Sarekat Islam, and Indische Partij, which emerged before and after the Youth Pledge, further strengthened their commitment to the unity of the Indonesian nation. In addition, the Youth Pledge helps build Indonesia's national identity by adopting Indonesian as the language of unity, as well as fostering solidarity among Indonesian youth in the face of colonial oppression. The period of national movement in Indonesia lasted from the founding of Budi Utomo in 1908 until the collapse of the Dutch colonial government. During this period, the Indonesian people attempted to free themselves from colonialism with the aim of achieving independence, sovereignty, justice and prosperity. This solidarity is reflected in various resistance movements and political actions carried out by national movement organizations after the Youth Pledge. Thus, the Youth Pledge is not only a historical moment, but also an important milestone in uniting various organizations of the Indonesian national movement towards the ideals of independence.

Abstract

The struggle of the Indramayu people against Japan occurred in the context of the social, economic and political oppression experienced under Japanese rule. Japanese policies such as forced labor, economic exploitation, and political and cultural control sparked popular anger and resistance. The resistance of the Indramayu people to Japanese rule was a reflection of the strong national spirit in achieving Indonesian independence. This research uses a qualitative approach with a focus on literature study analysis. Through literature studies, research reveals how Japanese policies during their occupation of Indonesia, including economic exploitation, political and cultural control, and military cruelty, caused extraordinary suffering for the Indonesian people. The forced rice handover policy was the main trigger for the resistance of the Indramayu people. In this period, people were required to hand over very high quotas of rice, which caused a heavy economic and social burden for them. The resistance of the people of Indramayu, especially in Cidempet Village, is clear evidence of the people's courage and unity in facing oppression. Despite facing great risks, including repressive measures from the Japanese government, the people of Indramayu remain steadfast in fighting for their rights. This resistance not only had a local impact, but also gave impetus to the independence movement throughout Indonesia. The impact of the resistance of the Indramayu people on the Indonesian independence movement was very significant. Apart from increasing national awareness and strengthening local power, this resistance also encouraged the expansion of the independence movement to other regions and inspired a spirit of struggle throughout Indonesia. The resistance of the people of Indramayu shows the important role of regions in the independence movement, and emphasizes that the spirit of unity, courage and sacrifice is a strong foundation in achieving independence.
