Abstract

The expansion of financial technology (FinTech) has changed the way that MSMEs, and the potential entrepreneurs behind them, can access capital, especially in emerging markets, where traditional financial services availability is constrained. Notwithstanding the growing accessibility of digital financial services, a large number of MSMEs still struggle to engage with these technologies; their barriers including low levels of financial literacy, poor digital preparation, and internal decision-making obstacles. This study tries to explore the effects of FinTech adoption on MSMEs access to finance, with focus on the mediating effect of financial literacy and the moderating role of financial behavior and trust. A quantitative causal-explanatory research design was employed using primary data that were gathered using structured questionnaires from Indonesian MSME owners transacting in FinTech platforms. The relationships between the main constructs were investigated through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The findings indicate that financial literacy and internal financial management fully mediate the effect of FinTech on financing outcomes, and digital trust and risk perception moderate the relationship. The results provided are consistent with the utilization of the COR Theory in understanding digital financial behavior among MSMEs reiterating that technology itself is not enough if cognitive and behavioral resources are not enabled. This study provides practical implications for policymakers and FinTech developers who seek to shape inclusive financial systems and also demonstrates the need to incorporate financial education in digital innovations' strategy to build greater economic resiliency of MSMEs

Abstract

This study aims to improve the cooperative attitude and learning achievement of sixth-grade students at SD Negeri Sidaurip 03, particularly in the subject “Our Earth is Threatened by Danger.” To achieve this goal, the Problem-Based Learning Model was applied with the assistance of Augmented Reality media. This combination is expected to create a more interactive and engaging learning experience. This study employs the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method by Kemmis & McTaggart in two cycles, involving 14 students. Data was collected through observation, questionnaires, as well as pre-tests and post-tests, providing a comprehensive overview of the changes that occurred. The research results indicate a clear improvement in both aspects. Students' cooperative attitudes showed improved: from 58.04% (adequate category) in the pre-cycle, increasing to 73.32% (good category) in Cycle I, and reaching 81.25% (good category) in Cycle II. This improvement indicates that students are becoming more active in collaborating and supporting one another. Similarly, IPAS learning achievement also showed a strong increase. The average score increased from 56.79% in the pre-cycle with a completion rate of 14.28%. After implementing the Problem-Based Learning model and Augmented Reality media, the average score rose to 64.61% in Cycle I with a completion rate of 57.14%, and finally reached 81.07% in Cycle II with a completion rate of 92,86% (excellent category). This data proves that the combination of the Problem-Based Learning model and Augmented Reality media is highly effective in enhancing students' understanding and academic achievements. This study concludes that the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning model and Augmented Reality media has a strong positive impact on improving students' cooperative attitudes and IPAS academic performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the regional budget allocation policy toward the implementation of Minimum Service Standards (SPM) at the Social Affairs Office of Maluku Province. SPM represents the mandatory indicators that must be achieved by local governments in providing basic services, particularly to vulnerable groups such as the elderly, neglected children, and persons with disabilities. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The analysis focuses on four main aspects: planning and budget prioritization, allocation and utilization effectiveness, institutional readiness, and monitoring and accountability. The findings indicate that while SPM programs have been aligned with regional planning documents, the integration of basic social needs data remains weak. Budget utilization effectiveness is also suboptimal, as reflected in the gap between targeted outcomes and actual achievements. Furthermore, institutional capacity and human resources are not fully prepared to implement SPM programs, and oversight is mostly administrative with limited public engagement. Therefore, strengthening cross-sectoral coordination, enhancing institutional capacity, and improving participatory monitoring systems are essential to ensure more effective budget allocation. This study recommends evidence-based policymaking as a foundation for social budget decisions.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness of digital media-assisted economic learning using Wordwall-based gamification in enhancing students’ creative understanding in class XI.9 of SMA Negeri 1 Cilimus. This research employed a quasi-experimental method with a one-group pre-test–post-test design, involving a total of 18 student participants. Data were collected through direct observation, semi-structured interviews with the teacher and four students, and visual documentation. The data were analyzed using the N-Gain test and the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test, as the data did not meet the assumptions of normal distribution. The findings revealed a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test results (Asymp. Significance 2-tailed = 0.01 < 0.05), indicating that the use of digital media effectively improved student learning outcomes. Qualitative data further showed increased student engagement, creativity, and motivation during the learning process. These findings support the conclusion that gamified digital media can serve as an innovative solution to foster enjoyable, interactive, and meaningful learning experiences in economic education.

Abstract

Distance learning (DLE) has become an integral part of the global education system, especially with the advancement of technology and challenges such as the pandemic. However, DLE also faces several challenges, including low student engagement and accessibility issues. This paper aims to identify and analyze innovative solutions that can address these challenges. Through case studies and literature review, we explore strategies such as personalization of learning, use of interactive technologies, and inclusive approaches to increase student engagement and ensure equitable accessibility. The results show that a combination of these strategies can significantly improve the effectiveness of DLE.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the impact of implementing the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) model combined with Social Emotional Learning (SEL) on social skills, taking into account students' levels of self-confidence. The research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a 2×2 treatment by level design. The sample consisted of 42 fourth-grade students from SD Islam Dwi Matra, South Jakarta, who were divided into two groups: an experimental group that received instruction using the SEL-based TSTS model, and a control group that was taught using the STAD approach. Data collection instruments included a performance assessment to measure social skills and a questionnaire to measure students' self-confidence. The results of the two-way ANOVA analysis indicated a significant difference in social skills between students taught using the SEL-modified TSTS model and those taught using STAD. Furthermore, there was a significant interaction between the learning model and students' self-confidence levels on their social skills. The follow-up Tukey test revealed that the SEL-modified TSTS approach was more effective for students with high self-confidence, while the STAD approach was more suitable for students with low self-confidence. These findings highlight the importance of aligning instructional models with students’ psychological characteristics to maximize the development of social skills at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Electronic Service Quality (E-Service Quality) and Electronic Trust (E-Trust) on Electronic Loyalty (E-Loyalty) among Generation Y users of digital banking services in Indonesia. A quantitative approach was employed involving 205 respondents, all of whom are Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) owners from Generation Y actively using digital banking services such as SeaBank, Bank Neo Commerce, and blu by BCA Digital. Data were collected through an online questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) version 3.0. The research instruments were proven to be valid and reliable, with outer loading values > 0.7, AVE > 0.5, and composite reliability > 0.7. The analysis results indicate that both E-Service Quality and E-Trust have a positive and significant effect on E-Loyalty. Furthermore, E-Trust also strengthens the relationship between service quality and user loyalty. The R-square value of 0.638 suggests that the model has a moderate ability to explain the endogenous variable. These findings provide practical implications for digital banks in enhancing user loyalty through reliable and secure services, as well as building long-term trust.

Abstract

The mishandled baggage incident at JAS Airport Services reflects the weakness of communication management within the complex and dynamic environment of ground handling operations. This study aims to analyze communication management strategies in responding to crises and evaluate their effectiveness in maintaining service quality. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that internal communication failures—ranging from the lack of enforcement of communication objectives to the absence of regular evaluations—were the root causes of the crisis. As a result, JAS not only suffered financial losses but also faced reputational risks with international airlines as key clients. Linked to the SERVQUAL model, the incident affected several dimensions, including reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. This study highlights that communication must become an organizational culture, not merely an administrative procedure, in order to maintain service quality and prevent recurring crises.

Abstract

Early marriage remains a public health issue with negative impacts on adolescents, particularly in terms of reproductive health, education, and social well-being. Preventing early marriage requires effective educational strategies tailored to the characteristics of adolescents. This study aims to analyze the effect of peer group education on increasing adolescents' knowledge about early marriage. A quasi-experimental design with a pre-test and post-test control group approach was used, conducted in Borongloe Subdistrict, Bontomarannu District, Gowa Regency. The sample consisted of 100 adolescents aged 15–18 years, divided equally into intervention and control groups, with 50 participants each. The intervention was carried out through peer group discussions facilitated by trained peer educators, covering materials on reproductive health and the impacts of early marriage. Data were collected using standardized questionnaires and analyzed using the Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney tests. The results showed a significant increase in knowledge in the intervention group compared to the control group. These findings indicate that peer group education is an effective and inclusive method that can enhance adolescents' understanding of the risks of early marriage. Peer group education is recommended as an intervention strategy in child marriage prevention programs, especially in areas with strong social norms.
