Abstract

This study focuses on the development of a STEM-oriented Augmented Reality (AR) learning medium for the topic “Eating and Being Eaten,” facilitated through the Assemblr Edu platform. It involves assessments of content feasibility, student usability testing at SD Negeri 2 Mersi, and evaluations of teacher feedback. The research follows Thiagarajan’s 4-D model, which comprises the stages of define, design, develop, and disseminate. Data were gathered using questionnaires and interviews, with participants including students, teachers, as well as media and content validators. The data analysis combined descriptive quantitative and qualitative approaches. Validation by content experts yielded a score of 87,53%, indicating a high level of validity. Similarly, media experts assessed the product at 81.25%, also categorized as highly valid. A small-scale trial involving 20 students resulted in a 92.33% score, suggesting strong student interest. Meanwhile, teacher feedback from 51 participants resulted in a 92.44% score, reflecting excellent reception. These findings indicate that the developed media is engaging, positively received, and practically applicable in learning environments.

Abstract

Vocational education in Indonesia, especially through Vocational High Schools, plays a crucial role in preparing students for the workforce. However, mismatches between student competencies and industry requirements often result in ineffective internship placements. This study focuses on SMK Negeri 2 Banda Aceh, where the internship placement process has been carried out manually and lacks an objective and personalized system. To address this challenge, a hybrid recommendation system was developed by combining Singular Value Decomposition with a constraint-based approach. The SVD method predicts student-industry compatibility by uncovering latent patterns in the rating data, while constraint-based filtering ensures that recommendations meet specific criteria such as major compatibility, skill alignment, and availability of industry capacity. The system was implemented as a web-based application using Python and MySQL, providing real-time recommendations with response times between one and three seconds. Testing with data from 344 students and more than 120 industry partners at SMK Negeri 2 Banda Aceh demonstrated the system’s ability to generate accurate and relevant recommendations. For example, although an industry with a predicted rating of 0.58 matched the student’s major and skills, it was not recommended due to full capacity. Instead, another industry with a lower predicted rating of 0.44 was recommended because it met all the required constraints. This system helps schools carry out internship placements more objectively, efficiently, and in alignment with student profiles and industry.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the green campus program in the college environment, identify its long-term impact on students ' environmentally friendly behavior, and examine its contribution to the development of sustainability on campus and surrounding communities. Environmental and sustainability issues are a global concern that demands the active role of various institutions, including universities through green campus programs to instill sustainability values through environmentally friendly policies and behaviors in a responsible campus environment. In this study, the method used quantitative methods to analyze data researchers using Orange Data Mining software. The research sample consisted of 500 respondents from various study programs at the Faculty of tarbiyah and teacher training and environmental ambassador students, thus providing a comprehensive overview of the perception and behavior of students related to the green campus program. The results showed that students have a positive tendency in implementing a sustainable lifestyle, with an average score of 4.06 and a standard deviation of 0.9. The perception of the effectiveness of education and socialization of sustainability is also high, with an average score of 3.82 and a standard deviation of 1.0. The Data showed that student perceptions were relatively homogeneous and consistent. In line with that, the challenge remains in ensuring the internalization of sustainability values equally across all student groups. All data obtained showed that the perception of students is relatively homogeneous and consistent, indicated by the value of standard deviation that tends to be low. In line with that, the challenge remains in ensuring that all students not only understand the concept of sustainability, but also internalize it into real behavior equally. Differences in levels of awareness and practice can be influenced by internal factors such as motivation and knowledge, as well as external factors such as availability of facilities and institutional support. Therefore, it is recommended that educational institutions strengthen supporting infrastructure and expand environmental education and socialization strategies in a comprehensive and sustainable manner. This research contributes significantly to the development of strategies for high environmental progress and serves as a guide for other institutions in implementing effective green campus programs.

Abstract

This study explores the role of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) in shaping students' professional religious character within higher education. Amidst growing challenges from globalization, digital culture, and moral relativism, the integration of religious values into university curricula becomes essential. Through a qualitative-descriptive approach supported by survey and document analysis, this research examines how IRE courses contribute to students' moral reasoning, spiritual development, and ethical decision-making. The findings reveal that well-structured religious education enhances students’ understanding of Islamic principles while also fostering leadership, empathy, and resilience. Lecturers employ interactive teaching methods, such as case studies, mentoring, and community engagement, to internalize values of integrity, discipline, and accountability. However, the study also identifies barriers, including religious pluralism, limited instructional time, and the gap between theoretical knowledge and workplace demands. To address these challenges, the study recommends curriculum reform, stakeholder collaboration, and a more interdisciplinary approach linking religion with practical competencies. The research concludes that IRE plays a transformative role not only in shaping students’ moral foundations but also in preparing them to navigate complex professional environments with spiritual integrity and ethical clarity.

Abstract

ABSTRACT   This study aims to describe the form of code switching and code mixing in Tuan Guru Bajang's lecture on YouTube media. The method in this study is descriptive qualitative. The data in this study are in the form of words, phrases, or clauses originating from Tuan Guru Bajang's speech which contain linguistic phenomena of code switching and code mixing. The source of this data is in the form of a video of Tuan Guru Bajang's (TGB) lecture on September 15, 2024 which has been selected and determined according to the needs of the researcher. The data collection technique in this study uses tapping techniques and note-taking techniques. The data analysis procedure uses the analysis steps proposed by Miles and Huberman, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and verification. Based on the results of the data analysis, several uses of code switching and code mixing were found. the use of code switching as many as 6 data, namely 1 internal code switching data and 4 external code switching data. Meanwhile, the use of code mixing was found in 6 data, namely, internal code mixing with the insertion of elements in the form of words 3 data, external code mixing based on the insertion of words 1 data, code mixing based on the insertion of phrases 1 data, and mixed code mixing as many as 2 data.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the moderating role of perceived risk in strengthening or weakening the influence of brand image, electronic word-of-mouth (e-WOM), and brand trust on consumer purchase decisions at Shopee Mall, as one of the largest marketplaces in Southeast Asia. The phenomenon of increasing online shopping amidst limited direct information and increasing information asymmetry requires a broader understanding of the psychological mechanisms in purchasing decision making. This study integrates four main theories: Signaling Theory, Trust Theory, Perceived Risk Theory, and Elaboration Likelihood Model (ELM) in one conceptual framework. Signaling Theory explains that brand image and e-WOM function as quality signals that reduce consumer uncertainty. Trust Theory positions brand trust as a psychological mechanism that bridges external signals and purchasing behavior. Perceived Risk Theory highlights that consumers consider potential losses subjectively in the context of online purchases. While ELM emphasizes that the formation of trust occurs through an elaborative process of external signals, especially in conditions of high involvement or risk. The research method used is quantitative with a survey approach to 447 Shopee Mall user respondents. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to test the direct effect, mediation by brand trust, and moderation by perceived risk. The results showed that brand image and e-WOM significantly influenced purchase decisions both directly and indirectly through brand trust. Perceived risk was shown to moderate the relationship between external signals and purchase decisions, but did not affect the influence of brand trust. These findings confirm that in the context of high-risk e-commerce, strong signals and brand trust are important factors in directing consumer decisions.
