The attack of fireworms (Setothosea asigna) can reduce the production of fresh fruit bunches by 40–60%, so an effective, cost-effective control method is needed. This study aims to evaluate the cost of fireworm pest control using the fogging method on oil palm plantations at PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional 1 Kebun Bangun. The study used a descriptive method, collecting primary field data and secondary data from the 2024 RKAP and department management reports. The fogging process included an attack census, solution preparation, and nighttime fogging. The results showed that the total area of fireworm pest attacks reached 139 hectares across 17 blocks. The peak of the attack occurred in March (60 hectares) and decreased through July (20 hectares), indicating the effectiveness of the fogging method in controlling fireworms. Overall, the total control cost amounted to IDR 40,195,772, or IDR 289,178/ha. The average cost of fogging materials was Rp118,335/ha, fuel Rp10,000/ha, and labor Rp27,750/ha. The largest cost component came from equipment (46.02%), followed by materials (44.38%) and labor (9.60%). Thus, the fogging method has proven effective in suppressing fireworm attacks and provides a cost overview that can be used as a basis for decision-making in pest management on oil palm plantations.

This study aims to utilize oil palm sap into bacterial cellulose (nata) with the assistance of Acetobacter xylinum bacteria which is then applied as a material for making wound dressings. Bacterial cellulose has a high absorption capacity and is hydrophilic so it supports optimal wound healing. This study used a non-factorial Complete Randomized Design (CRD) method consisting of three treatment stages, namely treatment P1 with a fermentation time of 8 days, treatment P2 with a fermentation time of 10 days, and treatment P3 with a fermentation time of 12 days. The results showed that fermentation time affected the thickness and absorption capacity of the produced bacterial cellulose. Treatment P3 produced bacterial cellulose with an average thickness of 15.8 mm and a better absorption capacity of 3.68 g. All the test results that have been carried out (membrane thickness, absorption capacity, tensile strength and wound dressing quality test) in the P3 treatment concluded that the cellulose produced by the Acetobacter xylium bacteria is in the form of pure cellulose which has high mechanical strength and absorption capacity so that it is suitable for use as a wound dressing material.

Rewards and punishments are important aspects of Human Resource management that directly influence employee work motivation. In the palm oil mill industry, where productivity and work efficiency significantly influence operational success, understanding the impact of rewards and punishments on employee work motivation is crucial. Motivation is a psychological drive that drives a person to take action to achieve a specific goal. Motivation involves desires, needs, or goals that drive a person's behavior, both consciously and unconsciously. This research was conducted at the PT. Subur Arum Makmur-2 palm oil mill from October 2025 to January 2026, with the aim to determine the effect of rewards and punishments on the work motivation of process employees in the palm oil mill. This research used a quantitative descriptive method, and the population and sample consisted of 43 process employees, both shift 1 and shift 2. Data processing used SPSS version 22 software and testing included validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression analysis. Based on simultaneous testing, the F-count value is 4.417 with a significance level of 0.018, while the F-table is 3.23. Thus, F-count > F-table, it can be concluded that rewards and punishments significantly influence the work motivation of PKS employees. PT. Subur Arum Makmur-2.

This study examines the influence of behavioural biases on investment decisions among graduate-educated retail investors affiliated with Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, while investigating the moderating roles of financial literacy and social impact awareness. Adopting a quantitative research design, data were collected from 322 respondents through a cross-sectional survey and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). The results demonstrate that behavioural biases exert the strongest positive direct effect on investment decisions, confirming that cognitive tendencies such as overconfidence, anchoring, and herding significantly shape decision-making regardless of educational background. Furthermore, financial literacy and social impact awareness show statistically significant positive direct effects on investment behaviour, indicating that both analytical financial knowledge and sustainability-oriented considerations contribute to more disciplined investment outcomes. However, the study finds that neither financial literacy nor social impact awareness significantly moderates the relationship between behavioural biases and investment decisions, suggesting that these cognitive biases are deeply rooted and cannot be fully neutralized by financial knowledge or ethical awareness alone. These findings highlight the persistent influence of behavioural factors in modern digital investment environments and underscore the complexity of investor behaviour among educated cohorts.

This study is expected to obtain empirical evidence on the effect of workload and Burnout on the performance of nurses in male and female internal medicine wards. The research methods used were verifiable descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The number of respondents collected in this study was 53 people, representing all people who worked at Jayapura Hospital who were randomly selected. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that the influence of workload, Burnout and nurse performance in the male and female internal medicine ward was classified as a good criterion. The results of the study showed that both partially and simultaneously, workload and Burnout had a very significant influence on nurse performance, with a combined contribution of 93.1% to performance variation. This confirms that these two factors are dominant predictors that need to be managed strategically to maintain the quality of nursing services at referral hospitals.

This study aims to analyze the influence of financial knowledge, risk perception, and religiosity on sharia stock investment decisions among Generation Z. The study employed a quantitative approach with a causal research design. The research data were collected through questionnaires distributed to Generation Z individuals who are familiar with sharia stock investment and have an interest in investment activities. A total of 161 respondents were included in the data analysis process. Data analysis was conducted using the Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) method with the assistance of SmartPLS 4 software. The results indicate that financial knowledge and religiosity have a positive and significant effect on sharia stock investment decisions among Generation Z. Meanwhile, risk perception does not have a significant effect on sharia stock investment decisions. These findings indicate that sharia stock investment decisions among Generation Z are more influenced by the level of financial understanding and religious values than by investment risk perception. In addition, the growth of digital investment and the high exposure to information through social media also contribute to shaping Generation Z’s investment behavior in the sharia capital market.

A copyright licensing agreement serves as a legal instrument enabling the utilization of economic rights over a work without transferring its ownership; however, its implementation remains susceptible to infringements in the form of breach of contract and unlawful acts. This study aims to analyze the forms of infringement that may arise within a copyright licensing agreement and to examine the legal protections available to the parties under the Indonesian Civil Code ( KUHPerdata ) and Law Number 28 of 2014 on Copyright, referencing Case No. 853/ Pdt.G /2024/PN JKT.SEL jo. No. 1338/PDT/2025/PT DKI as an illustrative case. This study employs a normative legal research method with a statutory and conceptual approach. The findings indicate that infringements in a copyright licensing agreement can be qualified as a breach of contract if the licensee fails to pay royalties or exceeds the agreed scope of the license, and as an unlawful act if unauthorized sublicensing occurs, as explicitly prohibited by Article 81 of the Copyright Law. The available legal protection is multi-layered — the Civil Code provides a general framework through Articles 1243, 1365, 1266, and 1267, while the Copyright Law as lex specialis offers preventive protection through mandatory license registration at DJKI and repressive protection via lawsuits filed with the Commercial Court relating to Article 96 jo. Article 99. These two legal instruments are not substitutes for one another, but rather operate complementarily. Understanding the relationship between them is expected to serve as a reference for parties in copyright licensing agreements in determining the most effective legal protection strategy.
