This study aims to construct an integrated structural synthesis of the evolution of voluntary turnover (VTO) theory, mapping both its chronological development and the conceptual genealogy linking its theories, together with the variables derived from each theory in the most recent phase. The method is a systematic literature review applying the SPAR-4-SLR protocol combined with the TCM-ADO framework, drawing on high-quality, peer-reviewed articles indexed in Scopus and examined through content analysis. The results show that VTO theory has evolved along several interconnected pathways, from a foundational early-mobility era through attitudinal, adaptation, and dynamic-cognitive eras to a recent alternative-pathway era; theories develop both independently and through cross-era influence, and their derived variables relate to turnover in increasing, decreasing, and curvilinear ways. The synthesis offers conceptual clarity for researchers and a genealogical map to guide retention strategy and future VTO research.

This study aims to develop a digital flipbook named Dermatopia as a learning medium for facial care among 11th-grade students in the Beauty and Skin Care Department at Vocational High Schools in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The background of this research is the limitations of conventional learning media that are static, bulky, and less interactive, making it difficult for students to master the sequence of facial massage techniques independently in accordance with the Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (SKKNI) in the Beauty sector. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The subjects were 75 eleventh-grade students from four vocational high schools in Yogyakarta. The instruments included material and media expert validation sheets, comprehension tests (pre-test and post-test), practice observation sheets, and student response questionnaires. Data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative and quantitative methods. The results showed that the Dermatopia flipbook has interactive characteristics that integrate anatomy of the skin, skin types, tools and cosmetic materials, and video tutorials on five basic and electric facial massage movements. Material expert validation obtained a score of 4.58 (98.75%) and media expert 4.51 (94.64%), indicating that the product is highly feasible. The effectiveness of the product was proven by an increase in the average student comprehension score from 67.80 to 86.40, a student response score of 4.60 (92%), and a practical accessibility rate of 92%. The flipbook can be accessed at https://buku-dermatopia.netlify.app/. It can be concluded that the Dermatopia flipbook is highly feasible and effective as a learning medium for facial care to support independent learning for Beauty Vocational High School students.

Principal leadership plays a strategic role in shaping organizational climate and improving teacher performance, particularly in public schools facing resource constraints. This study aimed to analyze the principal’s strategic leadership practices, school organizational climate, and teacher performance based on professional practice at State Junior High School 6 of West Seram Regency. A qualitative case study design was employed to explore these phenomena within their natural context. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis and analyzed using inductive thematic analysis. The findings revealed that the principal implemented adaptive and participatory strategic leadership through contextual vision adjustment, collaborative decision-making, and teacher empowerment. These practices contributed to the development of an open, supportive, and collaborative organizational climate characterized by trust, effective communication, and professional support. Furthermore, the positive organizational climate enabled teachers to strengthen their professional performance through reflective practice, contextual pedagogical innovation, and commitment to student development. The study concludes that teacher performance is not directly determined by leadership policies but emerges through an ongoing organizational process shaped by strategic leadership and organizational climate. The findings provide both theoretical and practical insights into improving teacher performance in public schools, particularly those located in resource-constrained regional areas.

This research seeks to examine how Green Innovation, Eco-Efficiency, and Environmental Performance shape Firm Value, with Firm Size functioning as a moderating variable. The population for this study consists of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, with a selected sample of 100 observations. The data analysis methods employed include descriptive statistics and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results indicate that the constructed regression model meets the criteria for model validity with an Adjusted R-Square value of 27.3%. Empirical findings suggest that Firm Size significantly moderates the relationship by strengthening the positive effects of Green Innovation and Eco-Efficiency on Firm Value. However, Firm Size was found not to moderate the relationship between Environmental Performance and Firm Value. The conclusion of this study indicates that investors tend to place a higher value on green innovation and eco-efficiency in large-scale companies, while environmental performance is viewed as a standard obligation that is not influenced by firm size in the formation of market value.

Palm starch waste obtained from the Aci Kawung vermicelli flour factory in Ciamis, Indonesia, poses an environmental problem that also impacts the health of the surrounding community, thus requiring an effective treatment method. Silica synthesis from sago starch waste was performed using a coprecipitation method with 2M HCl. This study aimed to characterize the silica from sago starch waste using X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analysis to determine the elements, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) to determine the morphology, and a particle size analyzer (PSA) to determine the particle size of the silica. Sample preparation involved determining the weight of the raw material, washing the raw material, followed by physical and chemical activation through burning, calcination, mixing, and grinding, as well as chemical activation by washing with 2M HCl. XRF results showed that the main phase of the sample was SiO₂ at 68.90%. The silica itself can be utilized in wastewater adsorption. SEM analysis clearly shows numerous pores distributed evenly, which are beneficial for wastewater treatment; these evenly distributed pores are useful for adsorbing heavy metals such as Pb, Zn, Mn, and Fe. Additionally, PSA results indicate a particle size of 2.46 μm. This study holds potential for the development of bionanoadsorbent raw materials for water treatment.

The background of this research is the low levels of historical consciousness and critical thinking skills among students, caused by the dominance of conventional learning which tends to focus on factual memorization. This condition results in students' difficulty in connecting past events with present-day reality. This study aims to examine the effect of the Problem-Based Flipped Learning (PBFL) model on the historical consciousness and critical thinking skills of students at SMK Negeri 1 Denpasar. The method employed was a quasi-experiment with a pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design . The research population consisted of 9 classes totaling 352 eleventh-grade students, with three classes selected through group random sampling to serve as the experimental group (PBFL), control group I ( Problem-Based Learning ), and control group II ( Direct Instruction ). Data were collected using historical consciousness questionnaires and critical thinking skills tests, then analyzed using multivariate analysis of covariance (MANCOVA) with pre-test scores as the covariates. The results indicated significant differences in both historical consciousness and critical thinking skills, simultaneously and individually, between students taught with the PBFL model compared to those taught with PBL and Direct Instruction models. Further analysis confirmed that the average scores of the PBFL group consistently outperformed the other groups. This research concludes that the implementation of the PBFL model effectively enhances students' historical consciousness and critical thinking sharpness through learning time efficiency and contextual problem-solving.

Quality nursing care services is an important factor in improving patient satisfaction in hospitals. However, based on an initial survey at Sundari General Hospital, Medan, a relatively high level of patient dissatisfaction was found due to unfriendly service, poor therapeutic communication, and inadequate facilities. The WHO suggests that the patient satisfaction level should reach 85% or above to be considered adequate. This study aims to determine the relationship between the quality of nursing care services and the level of patient satisfaction in the inpatient ward of Sundari General Hospital, Medan in 2026. This study used a quantitative method with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 44 respondents selected using a purposive sampling technique with specific criteria. The research instrument was a questionnaire that measured the quality of nursing services based on five dimensions (reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and tangibles) and patient satisfaction based on five aspects (performance, service, facilities, communication, and atmosphere). Data analysis was performed using univariate and bivariate methods with the Spearman Rank test. The research results showed an increase in the quality of service and patient satisfaction after an educational intervention in the form of a pocketbook was given. Before the intervention, 70% of patients stated they were satisfied with the nursing services, which increased to 100% after the intervention. The statistical test results showed a significant relationship between the quality of nursing care services and the level of patient satisfaction (p < 0.05). It can be concluded that the quality of nursing care services has a significant relationship with the level of patient satisfaction. It is hoped that the hospital can improve the quality of nursing services to increase patient satisfaction and loyalty

Background:Employee performance has been widely viewed as an important issue in human resource management. In Islamic microfinance institutions, performance is not only linked with financial targets but also with service quality, ethical responsibility, and the ability to maintain trust among members. For this reason, spiritual values in leadership and the workplace may have a meaningful role. Still, the way spiritual leadership and workplace spirituality are translated into employee performance through employee engagement has not been fully explained, especially in the context of BMT. Objective:This study was designed to examine the mediating role of employee engagement in the relationship between spiritual leadership, workplace spirituality, and employee performance at BMT Beringharjo. Methods:A quantitative approach was used in this study. Data were obtained through a questionnaire distributed to employees of BMT Beringharjo. A total of 200 responses were processed. Each variable was measured using a five-point Likert scale. Spiritual leadership was reflected through vision, hope or faith, and altruistic love. Workplace spirituality was measured through meaningful work, sense of community, and alignment with organizational values. Employee engagement was assessed through vigor, dedication, and absorption, while employee performance was measured through work quality, quantity, punctuality, initiative, and work effectiveness. The data were analyzed by using Structural Equation Modeling with a mediation testing procedure. Results:The findings showed that workplace spirituality had a significant effect on employee engagement. Employee engagement was also found to have a significant effect on employee performance. In addition, workplace spirituality was shown to influence employee performance, both directly and through employee engagement. However, spiritual leadership was not found to have a significant direct effect on employee engagement and employee performance. The mediating effect of employee engagement was supported only in the relationship between workplace spirituality and employee performance. Conclusion:The study indicates that employee engagement plays an important role in linking workplace spirituality with employee performance. In the context of BMT Beringharjo, the spiritual atmosphere of the workplace seems to be more strongly felt by employees than leadership influence alone. This suggests that value-based work environments may become a practical path for strengthening employee engagement and improving performance. Spiritual leadership remains relevant, yet its influence may depend on how far spiritual values have already been embedded in daily organizational practices.
