Post-disaster housing reconstruction is a critical recovery process that requires not only physical rebuilding but also effective coordination, administrative readiness, technical assistance, and community participation. However, reconstruction programmes often face delays, rework, quality problems, and low beneficiary satisfaction. This study aims to analyse the implementation of post-disaster housing reconstruction after the 2022 Cianjur earthquake from a Lean Construction perspective. A qualitative case study was conducted using institutional document analysis, semi-structured interviews, and field observations. The study involved 24 informants: 10 key informants from the central government, local government, technical actors, and local community leaders, and 14 beneficiary community members. The data were analysed through document review, thematic analysis, process analysis, and interpretation based on Lean Construction principles, including value, waste minimisation, flow, stakeholder coordination, and continuous improvement. The findings show that the reconstruction process in Cianjur was implemented through reimbursement, independent community-based reconstruction, and third-party implementation schemes. Four main implementation problems were identified: beneficiary data inconsistency, administrative complexity, limited technical knowledge and resources, and weak control of third-party implementation. From a lean perspective, these problems represent defects in information flow, overprocessing, resource bottlenecks, value leakage, and process interruptions that reduce value for beneficiaries. The study suggests that future post-disaster housing reconstruction should strengthen beneficiary data management, simplify administrative procedures, balance facilitator workloads, provide early technical education, and improve third-party monitoring to support more efficient, beneficiary-oriented reconstruction.

Protected areas are widely recognized as key instruments for biodiversity conservation and forest protection; however, the long-term ecological outcomes of institutional changes in protected area management remain insufficiently understood. This study evaluated land-cover dynamics in Gunung Halimun Salak National Park (TNGHS), Indonesia, following major institutional transformations associated with park expansion and boundary reclassification. Land-cover datasets for 2003, 2009, 2014, 2019, and 2024 obtained from the Indonesian Ministry of Forestry were analyzed using Geographic Information Systems (GIS), transition matrices, and intensity analysis. Land-cover transitions were decomposed into persistence, gains, losses, net change, and swap components to identify underlying landscape dynamics beyond conventional net-change assessments. The results revealed a positive long-term trajectory of forest recovery. Forest cover increased from 67,100 ha (76.5%) in 2003 to 73,078 ha (83.3%) in 2024, resulting in a net forest gain of approximately 5,978 ha. Secondary forest exhibited the largest expansion, largely through transitions from plantation forests and agricultural land. Transition analysis indicated that forest gains (9,113 ha) substantially exceeded forest losses (3,135 ha). However, a considerable swap component (6,270 ha) demonstrated that forest recovery and forest loss occurred simultaneously in different locations, indicating ongoing spatial redistribution of land-cover change within the park. These findings suggest that institutional reclassification and conservation-oriented management have contributed to forest recovery in TNGHS, supporting the Forest Transition Theory and evidence on protected area effectiveness. The study demonstrates that transition-based approaches provide a more comprehensive assessment of conservation outcomes than net-change statistics alone and underscores the importance of governance capacity, tenure certainty, and long-term monitoring in sustaining forest recovery within tropical protected areas

The development of Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology has accelerated digital transformation in the construction industry, particularly in improving the efficiency and accuracy of quantity estimation processes. However, Quantity Take-Off (QTO) calculations for bridge structures are still commonly performed using conventional methods, which are susceptible to human error and require considerable time. This study aims to evaluate the accuracy of BIM-based Autodesk Revit in estimating concrete and reinforcement quantities by comparing its results with conventional calculations on the Station VII B Bridge Project in Dumai City. A quantitative comparative approach was employed through three-dimensional modeling using Autodesk Revit 2024 and conventional quantity calculations based on Detailed Engineering Design (DED) documents. The resulting quantities were analyzed using Average Error and Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) to assess the level of agreement between the two methods. The results indicate that concrete quantity estimation recorded an Average Error of 1.455% with an RMSE value of 0.712 m³, while reinforcement quantity estimation showed an Average Error of 1.765% and an RMSE value of 0.016 m³. These findings demonstrate that Autodesk Revit is capable of producing quantity estimates that are highly consistent with conventional calculations while providing greater efficiency and reducing the potential for manual calculation errors. Therefore, Autodesk Revit can be considered a reliable alternative for Quantity Take-Off applications in bridge construction projects.

The State Confiscated Goods Storage House (RUPBASAN) holds a strategic position in the criminal justice system as the institution responsible for managing confiscated and seized assets used as evidence in criminal proceedings. Effective asset management is essential to ensure legal certainty, accountability, and the integrity of judicial processes. This study aims to examine the optimization of confiscated and seized asset management at the Class II RUPBASAN in Ternate and to analyze the factors affecting the non-execution of such assets. This research adopts an empirical legal approach, utilizing both primary and secondary data. Primary data were obtained through field interviews, while secondary data consisted of primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials collected through a literature review. The findings reveal that asset management at the Ternate Class II RUPBASAN—covering receipt, registration, classification, placement, security, maintenance, transfer, disposal, and release—generally complies with applicable regulations. However, shortcomings persist at the receipt stage, particularly in the processes of assessment and examination, due to the absence of qualified personnel. Optimization is therefore required, especially in the stages of receipt, maintenance, and transfer. The study identifies legal factors and law enforcement capacity as the main obstacles to the effective execution of confiscated and seized assets.

This study examines the trends, gaps, and future directions of English for Specific Purposes (ESP) in tourism higher education.ESP in tourism is essential for preparing students to communicate professionally in global service contexts, yet many curricula still focus mainly on linguistic knowledge rather than authentic workplace communication. This study employed a qualitative descriptive design through a literature review of scholarly sources related to ESP, tourism education, hospitality communication, curriculum development, and professional communication. The findings show that tourism ESP instruction has shifted toward communicative, task-based, and scenario-based learning. However, gaps remain in students’ psychological readiness, willingness to communicate, intercultural competence, and ability to respond spontaneously in real service encounters. The study highlights the need for a holistic ESP curriculum that integrates linguistic competence, emotional preparedness, intercultural awareness, digital communication skills, and authentic workplace practices. Such integration can better prepare tourism students to become confident, adaptive, and professional service practitioners in international contexts.

The family is essentially a primary social institution that serves as a means of fostering, protecting, and shaping individual character. However, under certain conditions, the family can transform into a criminogenic environment that triggers deviant behavior. This research aims For analyze dynamics intra-family conflict Which background action criminal parricide in case Abdullah Syauqi Jamaludin and examines the conflict as a criminogenic factor from a criminological and criminal law perspective. This study uses an empirical-normative legal research method. ( socio-legal research ) with approach legislation, case study approach, and sociological criminology approach. Data were obtained through literature review, case document searches, interviews with police officers, and analysis of relevant laws and regulations. The results of the study indicate that the crime of parricide Which done by defendant Noborn from One factor single, rather, it is an accumulation of economic pressure, relational conflict, family stigma, and verbal violence that occurs repeatedly and continuously. Based on the General Strain Theory analysis put forward by Robert Agnew, these various forms of pressure create a condition of strain that ultimately leads to the occurrence of explosion fatal aggression. From a legal perspective, the Public Prosecutor's application of cumulative charges reflects a comprehensive law enforcement effort across all dimensions of the defendant's criminal acts. This study concludes that the conflict Unresolved intra-family issues can develop into dangerous criminogenic factors and emphasize the importance of a criminalization approach that is not only oriented towards punishment, but also takes into account the social and psychological background of the perpetrator as mandated in the New Criminal Code.

Social media has become an important marketing communication channel for micro businesses, particularly in the food and beverage (F&B) sector. However, many micro businesses face human resource constraints, making it necessary to optimize the use of digital platforms. This study aims to analyze the implementation of marketing communication strategies on Instagram by an F&B microbusiness in Bandung Regency, using the AISAS (Attention, Interest, Search, Action, Share) model. A qualitative approach with a single-case study design was employed. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with eight purposively selected informants, supported by observations and documentation. The findings show that the business effectively utilized Instagram despite limited human resources. One of the key strategies identified was collaboration with micro-influencers, which helped increase brand visibility and reach target audiences more efficiently. The business also helped consumers find information through accessible content and active engagement on social media. Furthermore, positive consumer responses and content sharing helped expand the brand’s exposure and encourage a continuous AISAS cycle. This study suggests that effective marketing communication in micro businesses depends on the ability to deliver relevant content, engage consumers, and strategically collaborate with external parties such as micro-influencers to maximize marketing outcomes under resource constraints.

The relational connection between students and teachers can determine the success of the learning process. This social relationship is driven by mutual sympathy between both parties. This mutual attraction is influenced by various factors, one of which is the teacher's self-image. The teacher's self-image is a subjective assessment by the students. Therefore, it is very important for teachers to build their personal branding to create a positive self-image. The label or image attached to teachers is a reflection of their professionalism. In the process of forming this self-image or image, teachers cannot be separated from the process of interpreting the symbols resulting from interactions and interpretations by students. This is then used by teachers to build their self-image. Building personal branding for teachers is part of the message of symbolic interactionism theory, where individuals give meaning to symbols in social interactions and influence teacher behavior. Social interaction is seen as a process within teachers to shape their self-image by considering the expectations of the students who are their interaction partners.

This study aims to analyze the role of government in managing Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects through a case study of the Sitinjau Lauik Flyover development in West Sumatra Province, Indonesia. The project represents one of the strategic infrastructure initiatives implemented to improve safety and traffic flow along the challenging transportation corridor connecting Padang City and Solok. Within the PPP framework, the government functions not only as the project owner but also as a regulator, facilitator, provider of support and guarantees, and supervisor throughout the entire project lifecycle. This study employs both qualitative and quantitative approaches to obtain a comprehensive understanding of project management dynamics. Qualitative data were collected through in-depth interviews with stakeholders involved in the project, while quantitative data were gathered through Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics. The analysis focuses on four principal dimensions of the government's role, namely regulatory functions, facilitative functions, government support, and supervision. The findings indicate that the government plays a significant role in directing policies, providing fiscal and non-fiscal support, and ensuring inter-agency coordination in the implementation of PPP projects. Nevertheless, the study also identifies several challenges faced by the government, including suboptimal inter-agency coordination, complex land acquisition processes, technical implementation issues, and policy consistency concerns that affect project sustainability. The study concludes that the success of PPP projects is strongly influenced by the government's institutional capacity, the effectiveness of project governance, and the quality of policies that facilitate balanced partnerships between the public and private sectors. Therefore, strengthening institutional coordination, enhancing transparency, and improving supervisory mechanisms are essential factors for increasing the effectiveness of PPP project implementation in Indonesia.
