The integration of Virtual Reality (VR) technology into foreign language teaching has emerged as a transformative approach to enhance both the effectiveness and engagement of students. This study explores the impact of VR on language acquisition by examining its ability to provide immersive and interactive learning environments that traditional classroom settings may lack. A mixed-methods research design was employed, combining quantitative measures of language proficiency with qualitative assessments of student engagement and motivation. The study involved 200 participants from various educational institutions, utilizing VR applications specifically designed for language learning. Results indicate a significant improvement in language proficiency scores among students who engaged with VR-based instruction compared to those who received conventional teaching methods. Additionally, qualitative data revealed heightened levels of motivation, engagement, and positive attitudes toward language learning within the VR group. The findings suggest that VR can facilitate experiential learning, contextual understanding, and real-time feedback, thereby addressing common challenges in language education such as lack of practice opportunities and limited exposure to native speakers. The study also discusses the implications for curriculum design, teacher training, and the scalability of VR technologies in diverse educational settings. While acknowledging potential barriers such as cost and accessibility, the research underscores the potential of VR to revolutionize foreign language education by creating dynamic, learner-centered environments that foster deeper cognitive and affective engagement. Future research directions include longitudinal studies to assess long-term language retention and the exploration of VR's role in developing advanced language skills such as pronunciation and conversational fluency.

The implementation of the principal appointment policy in West Nusa Tenggara Province in 2024 has not met government expectations. This policy is based on the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Regulation Number 40 of 2021 concerning the assignment of teachers as principals. The requirement for mover teacher to become principals, as stipulated in Article 2, paragraph c, has not been fully implemented, even though two years have passed since the regulation was enacted and the availability of teacher leader competency certificates has been met. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the policy of appointing principals from teacher leaders from the aspects of communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. The next objective is to reveal the inhibiting and enabling factors in the implementation of the policy. This is a qualitative study using a post-positivist approach, where data processing and analysis use the DAPA (Data Analysis Procedure by Application) technique with Nvivo 12 Plus. This study found that the implementation of principal appointments in three regional governments, namely West Lombok Regency, West Sumbawa Regency, and the Provincial Government, has been carried out in stages, both manually and through the implementation of the KSPS system. In terms of communication, the policy implementation was conveyed to regional governments through the provincial education office and district/city education offices through socialization activities, workshops, and coordination meetings. Supporting resources for this policy have been almost fully provided by the government. The disposition or attitude of the implementers generally supports this policy. The bureaucratic structure of the policy has been designed by the government, so regional governments feel that there is no need to develop SOPs, supported by the use of the KSPS system, which has various advantages such as automated administrative selection, integration with the dapodik, ekinerja, PMM, and other systems that simplify the appointment communication process. The revelation of inhibiting and supporting factors, as well as the analysis of the implementation of this policy, has resulted in a new, more comprehensive, and participatory policy implementation model/strategy.

This study examines the impact of Knowledge Management (KM) on Marketing Performance in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), with Digital Capability and Digital Innovation as mediating variables. A quantitative approach was employed, analyzing data from 150 MSMEs in West Kalimantan using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS software. The findings reveal that KM significantly influences Marketing Performance both directly and indirectly through Digital Innovation, which acts as a partial mediator. Conversely, Digital Capability does not significantly mediate the relationship between KM and Marketing Performance, indicating its limited role without effective integration into marketing strategies. The results underscore the crucial role of Digital Innovation in enhancing Marketing Performance, suggesting that MSMEs should prioritize innovation-driven strategies supported by robust KM practices. To achieve optimal outcomes, MSMEs are advised to integrate KM with a strong focus on Digital Innovation while improving the application of Digital Capability within their marketing frameworks. These insights provide valuable implications for managerial and policy-level interventions to bolster MSME competitiveness in the digital era.

This study aims to analyze the judge's considerations and legal consequences of the cancellation of registered trademarks and determine the party who has the right to be the actual holder of trademark rights to the issuance of intellectual property rights trademarks and product logos. The problem is that the use of trademarks that contain similarities is basically proven to violate the provisions of Article 21 paragraph 1 of Law Number 20 of 2016 concerning Trademarks and Geographical Indications, showing that trademark law enforcement in Indonesia has not been carried out effectively that the theory of legal effectiveness according to Soekanto which states that the effectiveness of law enforcement can be influenced by certain factors, including legal factors, law enforcement factors, community factors, and cultural factors. In conclusion, the Judge has an important role in deciding the Trademark dispute case because it is to interpret the law so that it is possible for the judge to find legal value and even create a legal rule as contained in case law. These reasons or arguments are intended as the judge's accountability rather than his decision to the community, so that therefore they have objective value.

This study aims to analyze the social impacts, income inequality, sustainability of community-based waste management programs, and the effectiveness of the implementation of Governor Regulation No. 10 of 2022 in managing tourist villages in Bali. A qualitative approach was employed by integrating literature studies, in-depth interviews, and policy analysis. The findings reveal that the management of tourist villages has significant social impacts on local communities, including increased economic dependence on tourism and shifts in traditional cultural values. Income inequality among tourist villages is influenced by accessibility, management quality, and infrastructure. The sustainability of community-based waste management programs relies heavily on the active participation of younger generations in fostering environmental awareness. Meanwhile, the implementation of Governor Regulation No. 10 of 2022 faces challenges such as limited accessibility to remote villages and insufficient human resource capacity. This study also highlights that digitalization, through the utilization of social media and augmented reality (AR) technology, can serve as an effective strategy to enhance the competitiveness and sustainability of tourist villages.

Rural banks (BPR) have an important role in supporting financial inclusion, especially in remote areas. This study examines the effect of core capital and governance quality on profitability with credit risk as a mediating variable at BPRs in Kalimantan during the period 2016–2023. Using quantitative methods with secondary data, the research sample consisted of 51 BPRs with 326 observations after outlier adjustment. The analysis was conducted with SPSS 26.0 using path analysis two-fold regression. The results of the study show that the first regression shows that core capital has a significant negative effect on credit risk (sig. 0.002; coefficient -0.172), the quality of governance implementation as measured by the decrease in the value of the governance composite has a significant positive effect on increasing credit risk (sig. 0.086; coefficient 0.094). The second regression shows that core capital has a significant positive effect on profitability (ROA) (sig. 0.023; coefficient 0.112), while the quality of governance implementation as indicated by the decrease in the value of the governance composite is not significant (sig. 0.338; coefficient 0.115). Credit risk was found to have a significant negative effect on profitability (sig. 0.000; coefficient -0.368). The Sobel test shows that credit risk is able to mediate the relationship between core capital and profitability (sig. 0.00380 < 0.10; Coef 0.063), and credit risk can also mediate the relationship between the quality of governance implementation and profitability (sig. 0.0933 < 0.10; Coef -0.034).

This study examines the influence of principals' emotional intelligence and leadership qualities on teacher performance in high schools in Aceh Barat. Using a quantitative approach and multiple regression analysis, the research investigates how these factors individually and jointly contribute to teacher effectiveness. Emotional intelligence, encompassing self-awareness, empathy, and social skills, was found to have a positive impact on teacher performance, as principals with high emotional intelligence foster a supportive work environment. Leadership also demonstrated a significant positive effect, with principals who actively guide, motivate, and communicate effectively with their staff contributing directly to improved teaching outcomes. Notably, the combined influence of emotional intelligence and leadership amplified these effects, explaining 74.1% of the variance in teacher performance. These findings suggest that both emotional intelligence and leadership are essential qualities in educational leaders, as their interaction maximizes teacher performance. The study highlights the need for leadership training programs that develop both attributes to optimize teaching and learning outcomes. Future research could further explore how specific dimensions of emotional intelligence and leadership styles interact to influence performance in various educational contexts.
