Abstract

This research aims to describe the potential for ecotourism in the Setu Babakan Betawi Cultural Village, analyze ecotourism development strategies in preserving the local wisdom of Betawi culture, analyze the impact of ecotourism development for the community in the Setu Babakan Betawi Cultural Village, and analyze the obstacles and challenges of ecotourism development in the Betawi Cultural Village Setu Babakan. This research uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The results of the research show that the development of the Setu Babakan Betawi Cultural Village area as ecotourism is a model for preserving Betawi culture based on the available natural environment. The potential for ecotourism in the Setu Babakan Betawi Cultural Village is natural resources, agro tourism, cultural tourism, water tourism, culinary tourism, and Museum Betawi. Furthermore, the strategy for developing ecotourism in preserving local Betawi cultural wisdom is to collaborate with other parties, carry out promotions, and procure typical Betawi plants. Meanwhile, the impact for the community is to increase people's income and learn Betawi cultural values and local wisdom. The challenges faced are the independence of the area so that it does not depend on the regional government, efforts to attract visitors through various media, and ways to make Betawi culture loved by the community, while the obstacles are budget problems from the government, the perception of the Betawi community as an ethnic group that is not advanced, and that it is not easy to collaboration with other parties.

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum emphasizes students' freedom to explore themselves while making the teacher a partner in the learning process. This article will examine the dynamics of implementing social science subjects in the independent curriculum at junior high school level. The approach applied in this research is qualitative using online observation and document data collection techniques. Meanwhile, data analysis was carried out using a content analysis approach. The results of this research concluded that Social Sciences learning outcomes in the independent curriculum in junior high schools were made by referring to National Education Standards, especially Content Standards, as a reference in the learning process. Implementation stages using independent curriculum teaching modules at the junior high school level as well as ensuring sustainability and carrying out in-depth analysis in its implementation. In implementing it in schools, the obstacles for social studies teachers in implementing the independent curriculum are very diverse. This research reveals that the implementation of the independent curriculum is very dependent on school and teacher policies in implementing it, especially in social studies subjects, becoming an integration umbrella for various branches of social sciences and humanities disciplines to strengthen the competence of students. to have insight and skills in thinking, acting and having concern for the nation and society, where social studies subjects consist of history, sociology, economics and geography.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the value of what character values are contained in the relief architecture of Sukuh Temple which can be used as a reinforcement of character education in historical learning. This study aims to describe various kinds of character values contained in the reliefs of Sukuh Temple and their relevance as character strengthening in historical learning. To achieve this goal, the author uses qualitative research methods and field studies including data collection using direct observation techniques and supported by literature sources including journals, scientific reports, theses, and related articles as well as data analysis using qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that Sukuh Temple has architecture with reliefs including Garudeya, Horseshoe, and Sudamala reliefs. These reliefs have historically contained meaning and contain character values. Those character values can be a reinforcement of character to be implemented in learning through history learning. These values include religious character, tolerance, discipline and responsibility, hard work, independence, and self-sacrifice.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation and challenges of character education in Social Sciences (IPS) learning in elementary schools. The method used is a literature study by examining various related sources obtained from various scientific articles on the Google Scholar page relating to the implementation and challenges of character education in elementary schools, especially in social studies learning. The results of the research show that the implementation of character education in school learning can be done in various ways, such as integrating character values ​​into social studies learning material, using various learning methods to develop student character, teacher example, customizing daily activities to support the character development carried out. by the school to create a positive culture and climate. However, the implementation of character education in social studies learning in elementary schools faces various challenges, such as limited teacher understanding, lack of role models from the environment, and minimal parental support. Therefore, serious efforts are needed from various parties, including schools, families and communities, to overcome these challenges and create a future generation with character.

Abstract

This research aims to compare the basic education systems between Indonesia and Finland. The research method used is literature study with a qualitative approach. Data was obtained through literature analysis, including books, scientific journals, articles and research reports that are relevant to the topic being researched. The research results show that the education system in Finland has advantages in terms of strong government support, free education for all teachers, high teacher qualifications, and collaboration between society, teachers and students. On the other hand, Indonesia faces challenges in implementing education, including transparent monitoring and evaluation, harmony between the school environment, family and community, and teacher qualifications that are not yet optimal. This study provides an understanding of best practices that can be adopted by both countries to improve education and the preparation of competent human resources in the future.

Abstract

Learning resources are one of three important components in the learning process, namely students, teachers and learning resources. Success in the learning process depends on the use of selected learning resources and media. This research focuses on history learning for class XI IPS. The aim of the research is to analyze the use of digital sources as learning resources in history lessons at SMA Negeri 10 Banjarmasin. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research method. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, interviews and document studies related to teaching modules, photos and learning resources. The results of the research show that learning history using digital sources at SMA Negeri 10 Banjarmasin is implementing learning in class via laptop and LCD devices as a means of providing material by the teacher to students via power points, pictures and explanations of the material presented by the teacher in class. The use of digital sources in class XI history learning has been implemented at this school. There are several digital sources that students use in carrying out the learning process, such as YouTube, e-books, and the internet by accessing Google search via the website.

Abstract

The food crop subsector plays a strategic role in the lives of most Indonesian people, including vegetable crops. Vegetable crops play an important role as a source of income that can meet the living needs of farmers in the Bungi District. Analysis of vegetable farmers' business income as a first step in determining attitudes towards growing vegetables. In general, vegetable farmers in Bungi District have not calculated their income or capital in detail. This research aims to find out how much income vegetable farmers in Bungi District earn. This research uses a survey method, namely an analytical approach quantitative descriptive. The population and sample in this study were 77 vegetable farmers who were divided into 3 groups. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, interviews, and documentation. The research results show that a) a new farmer group has emerged, numbering 13 people, with an average net income per planting season of between IDR 2,048,256-IDR 24,3311,000; b) the Mulya Sari farmer group, totaling 17 people, has an average net income per season between Rp. 2,288,372-Rp. 34,562,294; 3) the Mekar Sari II farmer group, totaling 47 people, with a net income per season of IDR 2,223,149 - IDR 35,697,043. So vegetable farmers in Bungi District are said to be feasible and successful when compared to Southeast Sulawesi's UMP of 2,758,984, and vegetable farming is also very efficient (R/C > 1) there.

Abstract

This research aims to determine how teachers carry out science learning in Class IV Elementary School in instilling social attitudes in students. Social attitudes are a person's tendency to interact with the people around him and the way they perceive him. Children's social attitudes are greatly influenced by their environment, and the school environment is one of them. The research was conducted at SD Negeri Bancak 01 in February 2024, and the subjects were class IV students and class teachers. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis used is reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions. Data validity techniques use source triangulation, technique triangulation and time triangulation. The research results found that teachers have instilled social attitudes through science learning. The social attitudes found were honesty, discipline, responsibility, tolerance, mutual cooperation, politeness and self-confidence. During science learning, teachers try to instill social attitudes in students by getting students to practice social attitudes, relate them to the material, and provide direction.

Abstract

Local wisdom has an important role in cultural sustainability in a global context. The current development of globalization has the potential for a shift in local values to a more attractive global culture. This research aims to determine the strategies carried out by the Taruna Nusa Harapan Junior High School, whose students have a diversity of ethnicities, religions and national origins in maintaining local wisdom values in the City of Mojokerto. This research uses qualitative methods by collecting data using in-depth interviews with P5 facilitators, teachers and students, observation and documentation. Data processing techniques use source triangulation. The results of the research show that Taruna Nusa Harapan Junior High School preserves the values of local wisdom through the Project for Strengthening the Profile of Pancasila Students (P5) by highlighting the theme of local wisdom by creating an activity entitled the Tunas Maja festival. Not only co-curricular activities, P5 Activities with the theme of local wisdom are very supportive in instilling local wisdom values in social studies learning for grades VII and VIII. The strategy used by the social studies teacher is to insert local wisdom material into relevant social studies materials such as class VII material about the relationship between the diversity of geographical conditions in the archipelago and the formation of cultural diversity. Apart from that, class VIII material, this theme is relevant to material regarding awareness of social changes that are occurring in the contemporary era with the theme of microhistory, local history, oral traditions.

Abstract

Swata Higher Education in providing higher education and research as well as community service are activities in an effort to produce educated people. Research, which is also a research activity that adheres to the rules in an effort to find the truth and solve problems in science, technology or the arts, as well as its service to society, certainly encourages people to live a cultural life. Apart from that, it can also provide reasoning and scientific principles in personal development in the midst of national society. The aim of this research is to explore in depth and encourage a better understanding of the important role that the State can take in ensuring welfare and providing fair salaries for lecturers who teach at private universities. The type of legal research used in this research is normative research. This means that the starting point of the research is an analytical study of statutory regulations related to the issues raised. The approach methods used in this research are the statutory approach, the conceptual approach and the sociological approach (Sociological Jurisprudence). Then the results of this research are that there is a gap between the policies implemented by the government regarding the wages of lecturers at state universities and private universities by looking at the binding regulations in managing universities. One of them is by providing wages to lecturers at State Universities, where the government provides basic wages (salaries), allowances, certification and sufficient remuneration. Meanwhile, the government only charges private universities with certification allowances. Then wages are given by the higher education institution where the lecturers serve according to their abilities at the higher education institution.
