Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the influence of the principal's role on sustainable professional development; (2) the influence of school culture on sustainable professional development; (3) the influence of work motivation on sustainable professional development; (4) the influence of the principal's role, school culture, and work motivation on sustainable professional development. This type of research is quantitative research. The population in this study were elementary school teachers in Ambarawa District, namely 21 elementary schools. The number of samples was 133 children. The data collection method was in accordance with quantitative principles and aimed to test the proposed hypothesis. The purpose of ex-postfacto research is to test the hypothesis or answer questions related to the real conditions of the subjects studied. The results of the study showed that: There is a significant influence of the Principal's Role, School Culture, and Work Motivation on the Sustainable Professional Development of elementary school teachers in Ambarawa District, Semarang Regency, with a sig. value of 0.000 <0.05.

Abstract

Environmental education (EE) plays an important role in instilling environmental awareness character and behavior in students from an early age. This study aims to determine the environmental literacy profile of students at SMA N 1 Gemuh Kendal. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The research was conducted on 202 grade X students, including ecological knowledge, cognitive skills, awareness of the environment, and environmentally responsible behavior. The data collection was conducted using the Middle School Environmental Litercy Survey (MSELS). The research data were collected through Google Forms and analyzed descriptively based on the achievement score criteria. The results showed that the environmental literacy score was 48.76 in the moderate category. Indicators of ecological knowledge 45.60 (fair), cognitive skills 22.77 (poor), environmental awareness 62.23 (good), and environmentally responsible behavior 64.45 (good). Efforts need to be made so that environmental literacy at SMA N 1 Gemuh reaches an excellent category.

Abstract

The competence of the school principal greatly influences the quality of the school because the principal is the leader in the school, whose job is to provide guidance, supervision, and improve the abilities of educational staff. The aims of this research are: (1) to determine the magnitude of the influence of the principal's competence on school quality, (2) to determine the magnitude of the influence of community participation on school quality, and (3) to determine the magnitude of the influence of principal's competence and community participation on school quality. The research approach used is quantitative. This type of research uses correlation research. The population of this study was 377 teachers and the research sample was 194 teachers. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive data analysis, prerequisite tests which include normality tests, multicollinearity tests, heteroscedasticity tests, linearity tests and hypothesis tests including simple and multiple linear regression. The research results show that: (1) The correlation between principal competence and school quality is 0.851. The influence of the principal's competence partially has a significant effect on the school quality variable by 72.4%. (2) The correlation between community participation and school quality is 0.918. The influence of community participation partially has a significant effect on the school quality variable by 84.4%. (3) There is a significant influence of the principal's competence and community participation on school quality with the equation Ŷ = 4.235 + 0.057 X1 + 0.569 X2. Then the correlation coefficient value r is 0.918. The coefficient of determination of the influence of variables X1 and X2 on Y is 84.5%. The conclusion of this research is that there is a significant influence of the principal's competence and community participation on school quality, amounting to 84.5%. The author suggests that school principals can reflect and evaluate by increasing the intensity of supervision. School principals can carry out copy studies from other schools to develop the principal's competence and open themselves to receiving criticism and input in order to improve the quality of the school.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to utilize the collections of the Mohammad Husni Thamrin Museum as a source of history learning for students. And to find out what obstacles are faced in utilizing the Mohammad Husni Thamrin Museum as a source of history learning for class X students of SMK Makarya 1 South Jakarta. With the research subjects from class X AK 1 and X AP 1 students. The method used is a qualitative approach. The collections at the Husni Thamrin Museum vary from photographs, paintings, dioramas, statues of warrior figures, documentary films, to Betawi art. For students, the museum is not only a source of history learning but also a place for learning history that can increase student learning motivation, increase analytical power to be able to realize their imagination of past events with evidence of historical sources in the museum. Some obstacles are such as time, distance, funds and school permits, which require preparation in designing learning in order to utilize the museum as a source of learning at school. Abstract

Enforcement of the teacher's code of ethics has a very important role in ensuring that teachers' professional duties are carried out professionally, especially in creating a child-friendly educational environment. This research aims to analyze the enforcement of the teacher code of ethics in Sukoharjo Regency, as well as its impact on creating child-friendly schools. The method used in this research is the Normative Juridical approach. The research results show that although the majority of teachers understand and try to apply the code of ethics in carrying out their duties, there are several challenges in enforcing it, such as limited supervision and differences in understanding of the code of ethics. Teachers who uphold a code of ethics tend to pay attention to students' psychological well-being and implement an educational approach that is inclusive, non-discriminatory and supports children's holistic development. Therefore, more effective enforcement of the code of ethics is needed, supported by continuous training and more intensive supervision to create better child-friendly schools in Sukoharjo Regency.

Abstract

Research results (a) planning to increase teachers' pedagogical competence in implementing the independent curriculum at SMA Negeri 2 Brebes include 1) formulating a vision and mission, 2) analyzing teacher needs, 3) setting goals for increasing pedagogical competence, 4) preparing plans and 5 ) program to increase pedagogical competence and determine the type of activity; (b) the work program for increasing teacher pedagogical competence in implementing the independent curriculum at SMA Negeri 2 Brebes is 1) understanding the independent curriculum, 2) teachers implementing the independent curriculum in classroom learning activities, 3) teachers developing designs in developing teaching modules and 4) teachers developing designs for assessment instruments; (c) The strategy for increasing teacher pedagogical competence in implementing the independent curriculum at SMA Negeri 2 Brebes includes conducting a program evaluation so that we can know what needs to be done in the future based on the results of the evaluation. Then determine the strategy and identify supporting and inhibiting factors. Conclusion: Independent curriculum management in improving teachers' pedagogical competence at the planning stage, program implementation and strategies for increasing pedagogical competence are carried out with existing procedures and provisions, implementation involves all school components.

Abstract

The actualization of Islamic character values in Islamic education needs to be seen as an important issue in efforts to cultivate Islamic ideology as a way of life. However, efforts to actualize Islamic moral values require a long process, so that the cultivation is not just a formality but has entered the practical realm. This is needed to overcome the moral decadence of the increasing number of students. There are many cases of student misbehavior, one thing that can be done is to get students used to praying the Duha prayer, because getting used to the Duha prayer can improve the discipline character, religious character of students, the character of responsibility for students, the character of an independent attitude. This research is qualitative field research that uses a phenomenological approach with sources from school principals, teachers, vice principals and students at SDIT Insan Mulia Salah and books, journals and articles that are relevant to this research. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews or interviews and documentation, after the data is collected it is then analyzed in stages data collection, reduction, display, and drawing conclusions/verification. Research results: Efforts to shape students' character through the habit of Duha prayers at SDIT Insan Mulia Bojong Kulur District. Bogor is done before starting learning, this is done istiqomah, this habituation is to stimulate or get students used to starting activities with good things. This good habit becomes part of students' morals towards Allah SWT. Students can become servants who are always grateful for all the blessings they receive and use their time to always do good without wasting it. The habit of Duha prayer can improve the character of discipline, the religious character of students, the character of responsibility for students, the character of an independent attitude, and through the habit of Duha prayer can improve the character of honesty which in the end students will have good morals

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the optimization of health, nutrition, and care services in the integrative holistic early childhood development program (PAUD HI), and to analyze the supporting factors of health, nutrition, and care services in the PAUD HI program at Roselana Kindergarten. The AUD HI program includes 5 essential needs of children that must be met, namely education services, health services, nutrition, and care, childcare services, protection services and welfare services. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method, located in Roselana Kindergarten. Observation, interview, and documentation data collection techniques. Informants as a source of data in the research of school principals and teachers. The data analysis technique uses triangulation through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of this study show that nutritional health services and early childhood care get good health services by measuring weight, height, and head circumference in a programmatic and planned period. Children's health conditions can be monitored by a doctor's examination program every 2 months according to the child's needs, PMTAS every 1 week nutritious and non-MSG food, and treatment with PHBS. The partnership is established with the health center and the Jepara Regency Hospital. The conclusion of this study is that health, nutrition, and care services are one of the fulfillment of the essential needs of children in the PAUD HI program implemented optimally at Roselana Pecangaan Kindergarten in accordance with the indicators contained in Presidential Regulation Number 60 of 2023 concerning Integrative Holistic.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of giving rewards on the learning motivation of third grade students of SDN Penggaron Kidul Semarang. In this study, the researcher used a qualitative descriptive approach using observation and interview methods. The research location was at SDN Penggaron Kidul Semarang. The results of the research on the impact of rewards on the learning motivation of third grade students show that the application of rewards has a positive impact on students. Increase students' motivation, participation, enthusiasm when the learning process takes place. It is important to understand the effective use of rewards along with the need to support the achievement of educational goals.
