Abstract

Inclusive education in Indonesia continues to face complex challenges such as limited infrastructure, social stigma, and low teacher competencies, which affect the well-being of children with special needs (ABK). This study explores the optimization of inclusive education through the use of adaptive technology based on artificial intelligence (AI) to improve ABK’s school-related subjective well-being. A literature review of 30 scholarly articles (2021–2025) using thematic analysis identified five major themes: (1) structural and psychological barriers in implementing inclusion, (2) the potential of AI as adaptive technology for early detection and personalized learning, (3) the influence of inclusion on ABK well-being shaped by family and social support, (4) the integration of religious-cultural values to strengthen social acceptance, and (5) the importance of educational interventions through teacher training. The findings highlight that inclusive approaches integrating adaptive technology, cultural values, and teacher training can enhance ABK well-being and provide a foundation for responsive educational practices in Indonesia.

Abstract

usia 5–6 tahun melalui kegiatan bermain peran di TK A&B Kids Development Center. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dengan menggunakan model Kemmis dan McTaggart, melibatkan 14 anak yang terdiri atas delapan anak laki-laki dan enam anak perempuan. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan bermain peran mampu meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi anak secara signifikan. Pada tahap pra-siklus, rata-rata pencapaian indikator komunikasi pada kategori “Berkembang Sesuai Harapan” dan “Berkembang Sangat Baik” baru mencapai 45,4%. Persentase ini meningkat menjadi 66,8% pada siklus I dan kembali meningkat menjadi 87,4% pada siklus II. Peningkatan ini terlihat seiring variasi kegiatan yang diberikan, mulai dari bermain peran sederhana seperti pedagang hingga peran yang lebih kontekstual, yaitu influencer, dengan dukungan media boneka tangan. Melalui kegiatan tersebut, anak-anak lebih terampil dalam mengungkapkan ide, merespon lawan bicara, mendengarkan dengan baik, serta berpartisipasi dalam interaksi dua arah. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa bermain peran merupakan strategi yang efektif dan menyenangkan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan komunikasi anak usia dini. Hasil penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa integrasi bermain peran dalam pembelajaran sehari-hari mampu memberikan pengalaman bermakna bagi anak dalam melatih bahasa, menumbuhkan rasa percaya diri, dan memperkuat interaksi sosial.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh status sosial ekonomi orang tua terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas XII Akuntansi di SMK Bangun Persada. (1) Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif asosiatif dengan 43 responden. (2) Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket skala Likert, dan analisis data menggunakan SPSS versi 22. (3) Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa status sosial ekonomi orang tua berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa, dibuktikan dengan uji t sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. (4) Koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,612, artinya 61,2% variasi motivasi belajar siswa dijelaskan oleh status sosial ekonomi orang tua, sedangkan sisanya 38,8% dipengaruhi faktor lain. (5) Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah semakin tinggi status sosial ekonomi orang tua, semakin tinggi pula motivasi belajar siswa

Abstract

Penelitian ini Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh aktivitas sensori terhadap peningkatan perkembangan kognitif anak usia 4-5 tahun di TK Quantum Bekasi. Dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya stimulasi dini melalui kegiatan yang melibatkan panca indra sebagai dasar pembentukan kemampuan berpikir, pemecahan masalah, dan pemahaman lingkungan pada masa kanak-kanak awal. Metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan dua siklus digunakan, masing-masing terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah 30 anak usia 4-5 tahun. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara, dengan instrumen lembar observasi perkembangan kognitif anak berdasarkan indikator Kurikulum Merdeka untuk jenjang PAUD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada aspek kognitif anak setelah intervensi aktivitas sensori seperti bermain pasir, permainan tekstur, pencocokan warna, dan kegiatan manipulatif lainnya. Rata-rata ketercapaian indikator perkembangan kognitif meningkat dari 53% pada siklus I menjadi 83% pada siklus II. Disimpulkan bahwa aktivitas sensori berkontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan kemampuan kognitif anak usia dini, khususnya dalam mengamati, mengelompokkan, membandingkan, dan menarik kesimpulan sederhana. Kegiatan sensori direkomendasikan sebagai strategi pembelajaran yang efektif di lingkungan pendidikan anak usia dini.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the collaboration between teachers and parents in supporting the learning of students with hearing impairments at Sekolah Khusus Negeri 02 Kota Serang. The background of this research is the limited consistency in learning strategies and communication between teachers and parents, even though effective collaboration can positively impact the academic and social development of hearing-impaired students. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The subjects of the study were a homeroom teacher and the parents of two hearing-impaired students. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results showed that collaboration between teachers and parents had been established through regular communication, mainly via WhatsApp groups and school meetings, as well as the use of visual media and sign language in the learning process. Challenges faced include the lack of standardized sign language, low frequency of face-to-face communication, and limited variety of learning media. The conclusion of this study states that improving the quality of collaboration, providing sign language training for parents, and aligning learning strategies between school and home can help optimize the learning outcomes of hearing-impaired students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the learning styles of dyslexic children. The background of the study is the lack of understanding regarding effective learning styles for dyslexic students. Dyslexia is not a sign of low intelligence but rather a difference in how the brain processes written information. This research used a qualitative case study approach. The subjects were two 5th grade students who showed characteristics of dyslexia. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews with teachers and parents, and documentation. The results showed that dyslexic students tend to have kinesthetic and visual learning styles, with main challenges in reading and interpreting letters. It is concluded that tailoring learning approaches based on their dominant learning styles can improve the learning outcomes of dyslexic students

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of schools in developing the cognitive abilities of students with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) at SKH Negeri 01 Kota Serang. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach involving one ADHD student in Grade I, a classroom teacher, a special assistant teacher, and parents. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that schools play a crucial role in supporting the cognitive development of ADHD students through strategies such as seating arrangements to minimize distractions, short and repeated instructions, the use of visual learning media, scheduled breaks, and positive reinforcement in the form of praise and simple rewards. Hands-on activities and educational games were more effective in helping students understand the material. However, challenges remain in sustaining long-term concentration and managing impulsive behavior. In conclusion, the school’s role is vital in fostering the cognitive development of ADHD students, supported by collaboration with special assistant teachers and parents.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the reading difficulties experienced by fourth-grade students with intellectual disabilities at SKH Negeri 01 Kota Serang using a descriptive qualitative method. The research data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation with the research subjects consisting of teachers, fourth-grade students with intellectual disabilities, and parents. The findings show that students with intellectual disabilities still face difficulties in recognizing letters, combining syllables, reading simple words, and understanding texts. These obstacles are influenced by internal factors such as limited memory, concentration, and learning motivation, as well as external factors such as family support and the school environment. The strategies used by teachers to overcome reading difficulties include the syllabic reading method, visual media, repetition of materials, and an individualized approach tailored to students’ needs. The conclusion of this study is that reading difficulties among students with intellectual disabilities can be minimized through appropriate teaching strategies, teacher patience, and a supportive learning environment.

Abstract

This study aims to identify effective learning strategies for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) at SDN Kelapa Dua 05. Children with ASD at this school face challenges in social interaction, concentration, and verbal communication. This research uses a qualitative approach with a second-grade student with ASD and their teacher as subjects. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings show that a combination of several strategies proved to be effective. These strategies include: an individualized approach that tailors instructions to the child's abilities, the use of visual media such as flashcards to facilitate understanding, intensive guidance from the teacher and support from a deskmate, positive reinforcement through praise and appreciation, and active family involvement to continue the learning process at home. The consistent application of these strategies was proven to improve the academic and social skills of children with ASD.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the reading difficulties experienced by students with dyslexia and to identify the efforts made by teachers to overcome these challenges in Grade II at SD Negeri Ciceri Indah. The background of this research is based on findings that some students with dyslexic symptoms show significant obstacles in recognizing letters, sequencing letters in words, distinguishing similar letters, and maintaining reading consistency across lines. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with teachers and parents, as well as documentation. The results indicate that the reading difficulties experienced by students include: (1) errors in letter recognition such as reading “b” as “d” or “m” as “w”; (2) difficulties in sequencing letters within words; (3) inconsistency in reading; and (4) low comprehension of reading content. The efforts made by teachers to address these difficulties include individual approaches, the use of visual.
